Casola’s Miami: Legendary Pizza, Unmatched Generosity, and Service That Stands Out I came to Casola’s Pizzeria on the recommendation of a friend who’s a regular—someone who swears this is the best pizza in Miami. After my visit, I get why. From the moment you walk in, the service is beyond excellent. The team is welcoming, fast, and genuinely passionate about what they do. One of the most unique touches? They let you sample different pizzas for free—a level of generosity that’s rare and refreshing. Massive Slices, Huge Flavor We ordered: • Two slices of cheese pizza – the classic choice, and absolutely spot-on. • One slice of Casola’s special – bold, loaded, and bursting with flavor. To be honest, each slice is practically the size of a full pizza—but the quality is never compromised. The crust is thin, flavorful, and perfectly baked, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are beyond generous. Special shoutout to Alejandro Alejandro, who works there, is an absolute legend—kind, energetic, and clearly a key part of what makes this place so special. Verdict: A Miami institution that lives up to the hype Casola’s isn’t just about big portions—it’s about big heart, authentic flavor, and a welcoming vibe that turns pizza night into an experience. ✅ If you’re in Miami and love pizza, this is a must. Period.
Casola’s knows no portion control & I’m not mad about it! I ordered to go & pick up was super quick. The ham & cheese calzone was roughly the size of my head and easily doubled as an arm workout (nearly 3lbs of cheesy glory 🧀). Paired it with an Oreo cheesecake that could probably solve most of life’s problems 🍰 Pro Tip 📝: Bring cash, unless you want your card to cry a little with an extra % charge.
I'm a big fan of having plenty of cheese on my pizza and this place knows what's up. They come through with a heaping portion of cheese on every slice. The dough is very unique and has a puffy yet crisp quality. I was very satisfied with my giant slice of pizza and Casola's is mandatory to try if you're like me and in South Florida looking for a taste of NY style pie.
This place brings back many sweet memories of many years, always enjoying great food. Absolutely love their NY style pizza with anchovies. My wish would be that they would keep it cleaner as the floor and tables are usually dirty. (For this reason many times I just order to take out) Food is great!!!
We were very hungry after a long day of traveling from North Carolina for family reunion/anniversary. The PIZZA .. one slice alone we couldn’t finish. And love the samples they had out. The garlic knots with the salad was to die for.!
Casolas has had my heart since I first moved to Miami Florida it's a chill family friendly place a great place to bring anyone to make memories and who really wants ro enjoy a Amazing slice of pizza and a banging burger amongst other delicious things. I can always count on all the staff to have a positive welcoming and accommodating attitude no matter how busy or late it is. It reminds me of my childhood days when I got out of school in New York City and shared a huge slice with my friends before the commute home. I wish I could eat here everyday, but when I do I make sure to always indulge and enjoy every bite guilt free.
Been coming here for over 20 years I love this place and how its aged so good. Everything is good.
Perfect 9.85 every time! Thanks for the nostalgia vibes during our Miami weekend trip

Loved the food. The wings, the pizza 🍕 and the fries were delicious 😋 The Best 👌

Good prices. And they serve pasta. Friendly staff members. My order came with bread 🙂$13.99+

The best pizza ever. Delicious chicken salad.
Place your order in advance over UBER EATS, DOOR DASH. If you place your order on site you will be waiting at least 30 minutes. Slices are huge. We'll worth it.
LUV! Driving back to Miami Beach from Dadeland on US1, had to stop for a slice to go...🍕guilty pleasure. Plenty of parking in the back, though the place was packed on Saturday night. Service at register quick and because I was only ordering a slice to go received it immediately. Slice was huge, only downside is it could have been cooked a little bit more for sake of CRUNCH, but delish otherwise.
It's Casola's! This is the best pizza in Miami. This establishment has been here for decades. I have been coming here since the early 1990's. Great tasting pizza with a unique flavor. Big chunks of meat and/or vegetables on your slice. Slices are massive!!! Real pizza! Free parking, rarely have to wait for a spot.
Everything you want in affordable Italian food. It comes out quick like fast food, but tastes like sit-down restaurant food. I was craving basic spaghetti and meatballs, and Casola's delivered. My bowl was filled with more than I could eat, and there was more than enough sauce, cheese, and meatballs. Excellent quality, satisfying quantity, giant menu, and reasonable prices. I hope to come back soon!
The atmosphere use to be way cuter but the pizza is still the same so it's nice to drop by and pick up when I'm in town for work.
A slice of pizza is $6 & soooo big... they even cut it in half or lil squares upon request. 1 slice= 2 NY style picture perfect slices!!! 1 is enough for 2 kids or Adults. The steak sandwich was also amazing!!! If you're on this side of town and hungry, it's definitely where you need to be!
This really hit the spot! If you're wanting classic, old fashioned New York style pizza you're search is over! Just a no frills spot offering massive slices for a good price and quick bite (they just heat up by slice). If you want a fresh slice you'll have to order a whole pie. Also they're cash only but well worth every penny!
Brought a friend who moved to Miami some time ago to check out this hidden gem that has been around as far back as I can remember. It had been a while since I had been myself so we were both in for a treat, and not did they deliver. We ordered way too much food, but we’re happy to take leftovers home. Ordered the “small” Casola’s pizza, side of meatballs and garlic bread. Everything was delicious, only thing we will keep in mind is to ask for extra sauce on the pizza if it has a lot of toppings.
Great place to grab a good fufilling bite, best pizza ever!
One of the best pizza places in Miami! Perfect for grabbing a slice on the way home from the club. It's open very late (it used to be open 24 hrs back in the day but they changed it) and they are constantly making everything so it's always fresh and amazing. I've been going here 15+ years and am yet to be disappointed. Make sure to bring money with you because it is CASH ONLY.
I’ve been coming here for years. I live in South Broward and will make a drive just to enjoy this pizza. It’s never been bad in my opinion. I always get this pizza when my father visits out of town and everyone I’ve brought has never complained. There have been various times where we’ve done super late night trips to get a slice. I highly recommend. I love the free samples they leave out. Their fries are also delicious.
Great food, a lot of good memories at this place. My go to is a slice of mushroom pizza or a Roast Beef sub with provolone.
I had not visited Cazola's since I was a teenager in Middle School. Today, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and see the house that I grew up in and also check and see if Casola's was still there, and it was. The place is still the same...AMAZING!!!. We ordered a large cheese pizza. Still tastes the same!!!. DELICIOUS!!!. Brought back so many great memories. Thank you for that...
The best pizza in Miami!!! Incredible cheese, right amount and delicious marinara sauce, large sizes, and crunchy pizza bread. Anytime I'm near there I buy a large cheese pizza for my family. The food reminds me of the Flinstones cartoons (huge size food), like the huge wings.
We tried this place on our last visit and had to return. It is a much bigger operation that what it appears. The pizza is top notch, some of the best I've had. The garlic rolls, are straight perfection.
My fave pizza in all of Miami-Dade!! I love this place so much, i use it as a friendship test: I bring new friends here and feel them out. If they don’t like the pizza or somehow make the lunch a bad time, it’s a deal-breaker and I cut them out of my life lol. True story Where do I sign to make this place a historical landmark?
Ok. This one's Easy. Haven't been here in over a decade.... or more. Food is still amazing. Wings are huge and fire .. non gmo?! Idk but dont care lolol!! Pizza is as good as I remember. What I didn't remember is that they are CASH ONLY. Who carries cash nowadays?!? Had to use their atm - $3.75 fee. Normally I'd've just walked... but I wanted pizza. And Im glad I stayed. Hope they adapt to cards/tech pay but if not being cash! See pics and imagine how good this place is so its better in your belly!
Home of the croissant sandwich Wow it’s just as good as it was 30 years ago look into slices are tremendous worth the price quality of the food really good give this place a try this has been around since the 80s You can have delivery eat in or take out all the items are good check out the menu you won’t be disappointed Also if you come at lunch I know for a fact they give out the little free samples of their pizza
2/18/26 at 12pm who ever did the pizza gave me the chills best pizza that had taste in while good amount of sauce and cheese was perfect
I enjoy this Italian place. They are popular for their pizza but they also have subs. They stay true to an Italian menu. Prices are still reasonable.
When I was the host of Mozzarella Monday's, I always ordered Casola's largest pizza. They're tasty! I went back this week and loved the experience.
Walking into Casola's Pizzeria is like stepping into a classic New York pizza joint. The aroma of bubbling tomato sauce, fresh dough, and melted cheese hits you like a wall as soon as you cross the threshold. The atmosphere is no-frills, but that's part of the charm. It's all about the pizza here. And what pizza it is! The slices at Casola's are huge, and the quality is top-notch. Each slice is the size of a small child's head, and that's not an exaggeration. You'll need two hands to hold it, and maybe a napkin or two to catch the drips of grease and sauce. But oh, is it worth it. The crust is thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew. It's not too doughy, and not too cracker-like. It's the Goldilocks of pizza crusts. The sauce is tangy and bright, with a hint of sweetness. And the cheese? Oh, the cheese. It's gooey and stretchy and just the right amount of salty. But what really sets Casola's apart is the freshness of their ingredients. You can taste the quality in every bite. The tomatoes in the sauce are bursting with flavor, and the cheese is creamy and rich. It's the kind of pizza that you could eat every day and never get tired of. And if you're not in the mood for a classic cheese slice, Casola's has plenty of other options to choose from. They have all the usual suspects, like pepperoni and sausage, but they also have some more adventurous options, like eggplant parmesan and chicken bacon ranch. In short, if you're a pizza lover, you need to make a pilgrimage to Casola's Pizzeria. It's not just a pizza joint, it's an experience. And I guarantee you'll leave feeling full, satisfied, and a little bit in love with this slice of New York City pizza perfection.
“I first tried this pizza casually at work and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Since then, I’ve ordered it twice for delivery, and it’s consistently amazing! The flavor is unique, the quality of the ingredients really stands out, and best of all, I haven’t had any stomach issues after eating it. Highly recommend!”
Great pizza from a true Miami staple. This place has been around since the ’80s and it shows—they’re clearly doing something right. The quality was excellent and the pizza did not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit.
I’ve been going to Casola’s for years. It’s a nostalgia hit for me. The pizza is still good. The little sample of a slice above the counter always takes me back. For a long time Casola’s was the only pizza we knew that was close to NY style pizza here in South Florida. Our family would routinely drive out for a pie. Nice to still see they are open in a city where things rarely last. Wish they were still open really late though.
Alright we're do we started? Maybe the fact that this place has been opened since I remember in 90's and has not chnaged its food at all. The pizza is incredible, the wings are huge and always fresh, the sandishes always hit the spot and the chicken or steak Philly comes out like melted butter. They now take credit cards! And as always, as you wait kn your food they put slices of cheese in tiny bits of squares to let the customer wait. This place still has what miami was all about in 90's and latest 2000's. Good food, good pizza.
Casola’s delivers hearty, satisfying comfort food with oversized slices, flavorful subs, and generous portions that make every visit feel worth it. The casual, no-frills atmosphere keeps the focus on the food, while quick service and late-night hours add convenience. A longtime local favorite, it’s a great spot for indulgent, classic pizza and sandwiches.
Great spot for a classic, oversized slice! The food was delicious and the portions are huge. Service was quick and friendly. The place could use a remodel, but overall still a solid choice when you’re craving pizza.
I came to this place on the recommendation of neighbors. They've been going there for many years. They're famous for their pizza, which is undoubtedly delicious, very fresh and flavorful. Perfect size and it comes with plenty of olives, which I LOVE!

This place is been there for years and years. It’s more like a casual cafeteria style restaurant with lots of seating. They are famous for their pizza, which without doubt is delicious, so fresh and flavorful. Their pizza slices are so big, you get full with just one. Staff is courteous and friendly. They have back and front parking.
A little greasy, but according to my friend it still has the same flavor as years ago, they’ve maintained their quality
This pizza 🍕 place has been around since 1982. The food comes in big portions and is pretty good. Late night out it’s the place to go for a huge slice of pizza. The service is pretty quick, the atmosphere is typical average, but the dining room is big.

This was a good local place to eat! Large menu selection. HUGE slices of pizza. They were out of the small special cookies they promote. Pizza flavor didn’t have a big punch but did come with a special sauce that made it so delicious. Also got the turkey croissant and it was really good. I’d recommend visiting!
First time here. A friend recommended we stop for a bite to eat. It's not just pizza but because she raved about the pizza, naturally I had to try it. We each ordered a slice. Largest slice of pizza I've ever seen. So big in fact that they have to cut it in half just so you can pick it up. Even then it takes two hands. Extremely good pizza. I'm always searching for good pizza. I found it. Unfortunately I live 4 hours away. It's not a fancy restaurant so don't go for the atmosphere. Go because you want good food. You won't be disappointed.
Are you craving a good pizza without breaking the bank? This is your place! NY style pizza to calm the cravings. This is where the locals go for a late night piece of heaven💖. PROS: Everyone is nice and welcoming, the price for the quality of pizza is unbeatable, the location is centric, and free parking. CONS: only cash payments! And you can't expect an award winning pizza with the best ingredients. I would say this is very good for what you pay for!
The lady who took my order was pretty nice. Ended up getting a large pepperoni pizza and side of french fries from here. The fries were pretty good, crisp and crunchy and the pizza was always good. The large is pretty big, fed a family of 4 and the price wasn’t too bad for the area.
This would’ve been a five star review. If my one slice of pizza was actually hot. The wings are awesome. Finally a company selling wings like they’re supposed to be not cut in half and charge twice the price. Just know that it’s a dry rub, and the sauce that you get on the side is the flavor of your wing. Very hot so may have to wait a minute or two before you eat them. Eat the cold pizza while you’re waiting. Apparently the place is usually very busy so you don’t have to worry about the pizza being cold, but if you are going there like on a Sunday early afternoon, just have them heat it up there. Happy to do that for you.
Beside slices are much bigger than others places, cheese pizza is good but I asked for a “Hawaiian calzone” and they gave me a cheese and ham instead…the atmosphere is very informal and really noisy because is an inside close area where you seat and eat (sadly there were kids making a lot of noise and running around and at no time moms didn’t said nothing…)

Years ago Casola's was a great place to get a slice of pizza after the beach, game, etc. It has never been a fancy place, it's pretty much barebones on decor and definitely noisy. But the pizzas were always good and with consistent ingredients. Nowadays, you never know what you're going to get on that slice. Like this slice here: it's mushrooms and Italian sausage. It used to be crumbled sausage and canned 'shrooms. Now, it's fresh 'shrooms and a very thinly sliced deli meat that resembles Italian sausage but isn't. No tomato sauce and the minimum amount of cheese. And $8!! To be fair the wings and stuffed pasta are still good.
I have been getting takeout from this location for several years. A few days ago I decided to stay for lunch. The STAFF is VERY NICE, and FOOD is DELICIOUS, but the area of the tables was very dirty and with a deteriorated appearance. The tables that had had customers had debris and traces of grease. The wooden bench that is along the wall was totally dirty. The floor is full of black spots. They no longer have the little pieces of pizza to try, but that is understandable after the rise in the prices of the products. YOU NEED TO IMPROVE THE SALON URGENTLY
I feel like I wanted to give them more stars but the whole CASH ONLY thing is the reason for the negative in stars. I didn't know before coming here and I usually don't have cash on me, as most people these days. I had the meatball sub which was good. The sauce was good and the sub didn't get soggy. I also had a slice of pizza which was good.
must-visit spot in Miami for pizza lovers. Their huge, delicious slices and fresh subs always hit the spot. The flavors are bold, and the portions are generous, making it great value for money. The casual, friendly atmosphere feels welcoming, and the staff are quick and attentive. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or a late-night snack, Casola’s never disappoints. It’s a local favorite with a long history, and every visit reminds you why it’s so popular. Highly recommend for anyone craving classic, hearty pizza and subs.
Shadow of its former self. I guess there are no free samples when you walk in during lunch times? Cashier acts like she's doing you a favor by taking your order and doesn't even thank you for the tip. Dude handing out the pizza is another one that acts like you should thank him for giving him your $. They've cheaped out by having you ask for parm and oregano, not that there's much in the little container they give you anyway. Of course, the pizza guy feels inconvenienced by having to bend down to get you some. Dining area doesn't get much attention either. Could be cleaner. Food aint great, but its priced well enough for a quick lunch after being out all day.
Pizza was ok but definitely greasy. Slices were large. You can also order by the slice. It was raining very hard while we were there and water was coming in through spots of the ceiling, they were trying to clean it up though. Restaurant overall was fairly clean but definitely an older building that needed repairs.
I know they’ve changed some things but the pizza tastes sweet now (not bad just very different from how it used to), I was really disappointed with the crust. From the start of my (generously portioned) slice by the time I got to the crust it was hard as a rock :/ the garlic rolls were actually just rolls of bread in a bag with dipping cups of butter, where’s the garlic? Friendly and quick service, I appreciate that they take card now.
I ordered the calzone well cooked. It came out cold in the middle. The beer and wine were not cold. I know this is a casual place. The cashier ignored my well cooked request. Next time I will not tip until I check our food.

Sorry but I have been coming here for years and I was very disappointed 😞 it was the place to go after a long night of dancing or a late night craving, but now they are closing earlier pizza not the same even staff was different the way they great you it seemed more like we were a bother and not only me but found some friends and they also felt the same way. Pizza was under cooked with no flavor. I asked if there was a change in ownership and they told me kind of even thou same ownership the management had made changes not suitable for the client tell this place is known for. Maybe I'll go back again at an earlier time but it is no longer the place to go late night atleast not for me or the other 30 people that were there.
I do not what happened to their pizzas, they used to be amazing!! Now is what in the world?. Ur pizzas are just blah. I used to come all they way from Clermont to get their pizzas and take them home. Not anymore after my last visit that is for sure!!!. So sad!!, thet were so over cooked!!! I told the lady that gave them to me and she went, no not burrn, next. Not going back. so dry. Ty. Y son tan caras .
The cleanliness of the soda machine needs to improve 100%. Pizza was ok.
I really love this place. I visit I've l occasionally for years but today.... I decided to get a salami and pineapple pizza. If you can tell from the pictures, the pineapple pieces are from a can. They are super sweet and drenched in the juice it comes with. The pizza was good but the pineapple was horrible. I never thought I would get canned pineapple on my pizza, ever. If you like canned pineapple that is super sweet, you are in for a treat. Otherwise stay away from pineapple at this place!
We visited tonight (11/22). It was four of us and our total was 65 bucks for 4 entrees and 4 drinks. I guess it is average but seems pricey for the food we got. The service was friendly. They even offered free samples of their pizza. The subs were loaded with the veges but slim on the meat. Baked ziti was just noodles with a sauce and cheese on top. No cheese throughout. Most places I have visited baked ziti had at least some cheese through out. The garlic rolls looked like Hawaiian rolls baked then brushed with butter. The house salad was plentiful (full of pickles) and they charged separately for the dressing. Crazy!!! My husband and I agreed we would not visit here again when we come back to Miami.

This is one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The steak looked and tasted like cat food (obviously I have never tasted cat food, but you know what I mean). The mushrooms were from a tin. The calzone looked so disgusting nobody would touch it so it ended in the trash, along with half the pizza. It is difficult to make food so bad that it is actually inedible.
The food and the staff are great, but the place needs a major renovation. The floor is really dirty, along with the ceiling and the tables. As soon as you walk in, it feels dirty. To the owners, invest a little more in this place, the food is amazing, yet the place is old and dirty. See pictures of the customer’s bathroom.
I have been ordering from Casola's for over a decade, but I guess they were sold or they are under new management because their service has taken a real nosedive in the past few months. I used to order from them because the food was great and the service was good. My food would always arrive quickly and it was delicious. Now, in the span of a few weeks, the food is mediocre and something is always missing from my order. My latest delivery was the worst by far! They forgot my large of order of wings and when I called to let them know, they told me I had to call Uber or Doordash to let them know. Well, I didn't order through Uber or Doordash so why should I have to call to tell them anything? Casola's got their money and now they are washing their hands of the problem. Unacceptable! How do I know the wings were even given to the driver. You are making a long-standing customer run around to fix your problem. Well, you've lost a loyal customer!
Absolutely DISGRACEFUL. I excitedly stopped there to order a slice of cheese (to go). The place was quite empty. They ignored me, and were very RUDE when I finally ordered. I waited for another 15 minutes after ordering before she asked me "what I was waiting for". She then reached into the DIRTY pizza display and slapped a COLD, very old slice of pizza in a cold box and took my receipt. No smile, no apologies, no decency. The slice was DISGUSTING - under cooked, almost no cheese, wet dough, sweet can tasting sauce. They had no free samples, the bathroom was dirty as well. I will tell everybody I know how AWFUL this place has become.
Very disappointed. Pizza was poorly made When I got my pizza I noticed it was too much cheese and very little sauce as well as my pizza was sliding of the bread so I went inside and the lady in the front said it hot and that is why it was looked like that but 30 min later the cheese on my pizza was still falling off I’ve had hot pizza and never had this issue. I was very irritated because none of the workers tried to work with me they just tried to get me out their face but I left and won’t be back again.
Rude service and the greasiest pizza I’ve ever seen. If they don’t like how you look, they will burn your pizza and serve you out of the numbered order system. We waited linger than anyone before or after us. One of the workers who was super rude, took her break and sat across from my family and was laughing with her co workers in our direction and obviously was talking about us. We didn’t even finish eating and left because of making us feel so uncomfortable. Never will return. Gross food, gross service.
Wow has this place fallen from grace! I’m a Miami native. This place used to hold fond memories of pizza after sporting events and boy was it delicious. It was a Miami staple. It is definitely not even remotely what it used to be. The garlic rolls were stale and no matter how much “garlic” they had on them…there was no garlic taste. The pizza was so greasy, sauce was bland, and I don’t even want to talk about the dough…the crust was powdery and gross. The cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms was also atrocious. Do not come here. Especially if you knew this place in its former glory. You will be sorely disappointed.
YESTERDAY'S SUPER BOWL FIASCO WAS A NIGHTMARE PRETTY MUCH I THREW AWAY MY MONEY ON THE PIZZA. IT WAS COLD. DON'T TELL PEOPLE TO SHOW UP IN AN HOUR. AND THEN PASS HIM OFF A COLD HARD PIZZA THAT THE CHEESE WASN'T EVEN MELTED 😡 I WISH SOME NEW OWNER WOULD TAKE OVER BECAUSE THE PEOPLE THERE ARE NOT DOING A GOOD JOB AND THEY'RE VERY RUDE. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN 😡 AND AFTER ALL THE YEARS OF SERVICE.
I was just there, and I asked for 1 slice of pizza, after almost waiting 40 minutes, I asked why my order was taking so long. The server said very rudely. "Just Wait, it's in the Oven".... which is insane, for 1 slice of pizza. I ended up leaving, because not only did I have to go back to work, but the service was horrible!!! It's a shame such a "popular spot" has such bad customer service.
For yrs I wanted to try bc of highly recommended reviews. Boy, was I surprised. I fly all over the country just to eat and this place I would never go to ever again. Crust, sauce and ingredients was not up to par. Mediocre at best. What’s more disappointing was the lady wanting a 20% tip on TAKE OUT!!!!! Yeah, never again. Hard pass. Ordered half cheese, half steak 20 inch.
