We got sushi despite the family being Thai! Even with this difference, the sushi was legit. I loved the ingredients. Everything seemed fresh and delicious. The waitresses was helpful and paid attention to us.

Their sushi was very good and the portions were generous. The Thai menu is extensive, and although we didn't order Thai this visit, I will in the future. The only negative, if it can be called that, is I ordered the tuna tataki, and the Ponzu sauce lacked punch. The flavor was a little flat and maybe diluted.

The less decore the place has, the better the food is. And this place is true to it. Sushi was amazing, fast and very filling. We had wine and sapporo beer. For dessert pistacho ice cream and Thai donuts - absolutely amazing. Recommend it.

I have been coming here for several years . Was introduced to this resturante by some friends who frequently go . I will say I have never been disappointed with the food . I have tried both Japanese Sushi and Thai food . My last meal we were a party of 9 people . Not one of us had even a minuscule complaint. It is a decent atmosphere wether you are dressed up or in shorts and flip flops . I found the resturant clean and comfortable . I am giving this place 5 stars because I believe it is deserving of 5 stars . I had Chicken Pad Thai which was deliciously awsome decided to stick with water to wash down an awsome meal . The woman serving us was sweet and super patient with all of us . As far as the people working there everyone is always nice polite and easy going . There is a nice air about all who work together there . I like that there is a traditional Sushi Bar , a room for a large group of people to dine , and on the other side of the resturant several tables for dining. A great handicap ramp to access the front of the resturant. Limited parking in the front and the rest of the parking is in the back of the resturant . The restaurant is across from channel 7 news off the 79th street causeway on the bay . Bon Appetit

I just love this place. My 10 year old daughter's review: This place is filled with awesomeness! The tuna tataki is the best I've ever tried, followed by everything else in the menu. The custumer service is great, everyone is super nice. And the best thing is that in the sushi bar you can see them prepare your dishes!

I’m a Thai food fanatic and the food was delicious. Ordered the coconut soup, panang curry, massaman curry and cashew nut. Portions are large. Curry was thick & flavorful and I loved that this place didn’t shy away with giving cashews on the massaman and cashew nut we ordered. It was fantastic, my friends and I were impressed. Will definitely come back when craving Thai in Miami again

CLUTCH!!! I live 1 street away and this is my go-2 place when I don’t want to cook and want some homemade food. Omg the massaman curry and Thai donuts are just chefs kiss. But everything on this menu is just cooked with such care and flavor… when they hand me that warm paper bag with food it’s like a hug on a bad day. Such good comfort food :)

An old hidden place with truly authentic food. To this day, I have never not had a dish I did not enjoy. The place feels transports you outside of the high fancy Miami lifestyle. As you enter you are always greeted with a smile, the lights are perfect to just take that breath and relax. Whether enjoying sushi or Thai food, be ready to feed the soul. When ordering Thai food, their spice is true thai. So medium is pretty hot. Be sure to try their curry duck and their pad thai, excellent in every which way. Dishes are large enough to share so enjoy!

We ordered take out. Food was on time. We all liked our rolls, soups and the fried rice. And the Thai donuts were yummy too. The sushi rice was very well made, which I think is so important. Light and not too much. Will order again!

Food and service is as usual, very good! Have eaten here for many years and always happy and satisfied. These days mostly take out or delivery but some limited in-house seating is possible as I did tonight. Great choice anytime!

Got curry here, and it's decent. Nothing special apart from being a typical american asian fusion restaurant. The food is just decent. Do not get super excited about it after first time visit.

I stopped going here for over a year because of a rude waiter. Having gone back recently I can say that he is gone, however the service is incredibly mediocre. Twice, I have been brought the wrong order, and most recently the waiter argued with me that I should accept something I did not order because it was "better."

I am a resident of North bay Village through the years I had visited this location multiple times. However, yesterday my experience was terrible, I believe the food My partner and I consumed was old. The wine tasted like the bottle was opened at least 2 days. I had shrimp Lo Mein and he had Special Fried Rice. We both felt it the next day. Too bad I will not return

checked medium spicey on a shrimp pad thai and it arrived extremely sweet and not spicy at all. also ordered the "whole snapper" ginger meal and it was half the fish as normal. one of the spring rolls out of four was extremely burnt, three shades darker than the other. it leads me to beleive they just didnt care about the quality of the food sent out. And it was a 60.00 order...

If you live in nbv and want sushi or Thai and can't be bothered to drive more than a mile then this is your spot. It's kinda gross to dine in but take out is probably ok.

I've been to this place a handful of times in we moved here in February. The meal I just had was not good at all. Pad Thai was tasteless, papaya salad was ok, calamari was like a rubber band fried in breading. Very disappointment. Probably won't be back- I live in the neighborhood so a bit disappointed

Terrible service, terrible presentation, terrible sushi, should be listed on dirty dining. What a mistake to have stopped in. If you care about your health do not go to this place.

I place my order at 7:05 pm and when I get to pick it up 30 minutes later, wasn't ready I had to wait until almost 8 pm and the sea food wasn't fresh 😡

We went there on a Sunday night, there were only two couples and the 5 of us. The server ignored us for about 20 minutes, so finally a lady came and said the other male server was too tired. While she finally served us water, the guy literally threw the straws on the table. The lady forgot about some of our food even though she took note. 18%gratuity was included, so they made it very clear they didn’t really care.

Ordered seafood teriyaki (to go), it was over fried and very tough. The seafood was not mixed with the sauce, which came on the side. The vegetables were steamed and kinda rubbery. Considering I was renting an Airbnb less than 5 minutes away, there was no reason for the food to have deteriorated considerably. Only plus were that the scallops and rice were properly cooked.

Everything I ordered from this restaurant was repulsive. Chicken skewers undercooked, sushi roll with huge chunks of fish with no flavor, they couldn’t even get the edamame right. Never ordering from here again.

Although the sushi tasted good. It was terrible to find 2 hairs in a roll and a dangerous fishbone in a spicy tuna roll. After that I couldn't enjoy my meal any longer. Beware with this place!

Normally order from this restaurant, Normally good. Fast service. Today received container that was half empty. Called owner. His explanation was ‘ sometimes we do that due to food cost’. So they intentionally shorted the order. No consideration of making it right. Ridiculous

We went for the first time at this location and it was terrible ! the dishes were average but the worst was the service! The man was super rude, he only had two tables in the restaurant and he was not screwed to provide good service! He brought us the entrees, limited if he did not throw the dishes and then brought back the dishes without even removing the empty dishes, we ate with the table full of empty dishes. !!! When he served us he handed the dishes so that they could take them he did not want to go around the table to give each person his dish, we were 5 at the table! We did not see him during the whole meal and then he brought us the bill and he came back twice to collect it and when we paid, he checked our bill and it is with us because nius him avains left a minimum of tips !!! Worse service !! We will definitely not be returning to this establishment!

First off I ordered and paid online for my order then called to verify and they said they didn't have the order. So I cancelled the online order and called in to make my order. Then when I spoke with the lady in the phone I verified that I wanted an eel sushi roll and even asked a second time to make sure that I was getting the whole roll like usual as I always buy food from this business. I got a 1-inch piece of eel, which I'm not sure is supposed to feed anyone. I called back to complain and she said I ordered something completely different, which is not true and I told her I was coming back to change the item for the correct one. She then said I would have to pay the difference...that makes no sense. I called to confirm and even asked twice to make sure and she still got the order wrong. She said don't call it sushi next time call it a roll?!?!? She then promptly hung up the phone on me.

Charged me $2 for Teriyaki sauce they never sent, did the same thing with the Kimchee sauce, I called them to ask for this portion back, the girl who picked up said she already charged my card, she can't cancel and hung up on me! On top of that both Pad Thai and Chicken fried rice are NOT GOOD! Rolls were o.k. Horrible service.

Same recurring problems all the time!! Extremely thrifty on ginger so they can charge extra when you ask for more. Cold sushi gets hot as it is put together with hot food in the bag to go. Health department should be checking their operation. Totally against health regulations. Also the way the chicken fried rice is made is inconsistent and turns out many times too greasy. Lack of customer service and make mistakes because they do not always understand English.

Stopped in for a quick bite a little after 3:00 pm, I was a bit taken back by the appearance of this location. The building is old and outdated but because it had 4.4 stars we figured it would be okay. I have no idea how this place has a 4.4 star rating. This was the worst experience I could have ever imagined. We ordered 3 rolls with brown rice, pretty simple, I thought! First we waited 50 minutes before complaining and asking where our food was.... Well, they hadn't even started making what we ordered. 🤦 All while watching them prepare at least 10 take out orders. After complaining they rushed us our food. It was the worst sushi I have ever had. The brown rice was like mush the rolls were not cut through, and not one roll had much flavor at all. This whole experience was terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Find another place to have sushi. Oh and a second sushi chief came in wearing his mask around his chin.
