The food was good. Everything came as ordered. The service was exceptional. Joan our server went out of her way to make our experience awesome. Thank you Joan you made a stressful day way better. Your a rockstar!!!!!
We stopped here while waiting for our next flight. This side you can smoke. The air circulation was fantastic. Across the way was a non smoking TGIF.
I had an amazing experience here with Sheila. We had a 12 hour stretch at the airport before our flight, so we wanted to try several of the options in this terminal, and this was by far the most standout experience. Firstly, as soon as we were about to be seated, Sheila graciously placed us a table away from a very loud, large group with the intention of giving us a better experience -- off to a wonderful start. Throughout the rest of our time there, she expertly answered our questions about the menu, giving us the best possible suggestion for us two (who weren't too hungry and mostly just wanted a snack before wandering around some more). We ended up ordering the whiskey glazed boneless wings, which was a great recommendation -- deliciously sticky, sweet, and smokey, described to us perfectly and demolished in no time flat. Toward the end of our short and sweet visit, I inquired about the best place for coffee nearby, to which she had an excellent recommendation (a specific order at a specific place) which we tried right after, and of course, that was also phenomenal. I don't often take the time to write reviews, but Sheila genuinely provided the most excellent service to us on a very long day, and it was very much appreciated. Thanks Sheila!
Absolutely wonderful experience here, such a nice place to spend your layover. I have this place 5 stars because of service but also because of their raspberry tea. I promise you, their raspberry tea is the best I have ever tried. It was absolutely incredible. My waitress Ashley did an awesome job as well. It’s busy, but well worth the visit.
TGIF Fridays has become my go to for food at the airport. The food is good for the money and the staff is competent and friendly. Keep up the good work.
Good place to and hangout waiting for a flight out. Food was good and yes a little wait but so worth it. They have just a quick bite or a full meal option.
We had a quick bite here last week and it was good but what impressed me the most was after our flight got delayed, we went back to just get a drink. Our server from earlier recognized us and gave us the Cokes we ordered as refills from our earlier visit. It was totally unexpected because that generally is not the way things are done these days. I will definitely go there again when I am flying through MIA if time permits!
I don't typically have good experiences at chains, but this place was different. I got the beyond meat burger, which was juicy and well seasoned. The only thing I wish I could change about that is the lack of char. I've never been able to get a meatless burger with a char on it when I'm eating out, but I know it's doable since I can make it that way at home. Can't figure out why it's not a thing whilest eating at a restaurant, though. My boyfriend got the cheese fry burger, and he really enjoyed it. Service was quick and not rushed, which was nice because we had time to kill while we waited for our flight. If you find yourself starved at the airport this place is a good option. It's typical chain stop food, but they do it well.
I recently visited TGI Fridays and ordered the sampler platter, which included chicken wings, potato skins, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was great! The wings were perfectly cooked, the potato skins were crispy with just the right amount of toppings, and the mozzarella sticks were deliciously cheesy. A satisfying experience overall!
The best food I’ve ever had in an airport, we ordered the bucket of bones and shrimp margarita cocktail. Both winning! $19 for one drink was a little steep, and it didn’t taste good but the server brought us come pineapple juice to try and help it and that worked. Would come again, but wouldn’t trust the bar to be tasty.
For an airport restaurant, this TGI Fridays is solid. The service is good. The food arrives quickly, and it's exactly what you would expect from a chain restaurant... not life changing but the quality is good and it fills the void.
I can’t remember our server’s name but he did a great job. We let him know that our time was limited and he had food flying out of the kitchen! Fresh, hot, and had the rest packed up before o could ask for the check!
Wow! A smoking bar past TSA in MIA! Had a drink and a smoke while I waited to board. Staff was great and had a few laughs with the other travelers at the bar
We were a table of 8 walk-in and got seated immediately. The staff was friendly and atmosphere was inviting. The food was amazing as well. I got the cheeseburger and fries, and got a side of Mac 'n Cheese. Everything was incredible. Other people on my table got chicken wings, other burgers, and ribs, all of which were also amazing. Highly recommend trying this restaurant. It surpassed our expectations and we were pleasantly surprised!
Being a bit of a foodie, I tend to avoid chains like TGI Fridays and consider them in the same class as Applebee’s or Chili’s. With frequent travel though Miami and limited dining choices in concourse D, I have ended up here on more than one occasion and every time I have been blown away. Every meal has been perfectly cooked and full of flavor. This morning I had the steak and eggs. I don’t even trust steak in nicer restaurants let alone an airport chain. Y'all, this steak was cooked just right, pink and tender, and had the most delicious butter on top. My mimosa was amazing as well. It was so good im leaving this review while im still at my table!
You will find the restaurant at terminal D 35. The food, service, and atmosphere is excellent. It is also the only place in the airport with open air smoking section inside the airport which is rare in American airports.
TGIF Miami – An Unexpected Gem on the Way to Barbados I usually only leave reviews for places in Barbados, but since this stop was part of my journey there, I figured it deserved a shoutout, because what better way to kick off (or end) a trip than with a great meal? I didn’t grow up eating pork, so I didn’t taste ribs until I was an adult. Not that I was against it, I happily ate ham at Christmas, but my dad didn’t eat much pork, so it just wasn’t on the menu at home. Then one day, in between flights at the Miami airport, I was starving. I was traveling with a group, and we ordered a mix of appetizers to share. Without even realizing it, I bit into a rib, and it was life-changing! It opened up a whole new world of dining possibilities. From that moment on, ribs became my go-to dish at restaurants. But honestly? None have ever quite compared to the ones at TGIF in the Miami airport. Now, it’s tradition. Whenever I pass through, I treat myself to their ribs. with fries and coleslaw (sauce on the side). It’s my guilty pleasure, and while I always hate for any trip to come to an end, this meal somehow softens the goodbye. It’s like comfort food for the traveler’s soul. The staff is friendly, the service is prompt, and the ribs are consistently tender and full of flavor. I’ve tried many since that first bite, but these remain the gold standard. I’m making up for all the years I missed out! And while I don’t smoke, it’s worth noting they have a smokers’ section too. TGIF Miami, you’re such an unexpected gem. Thank you for being the perfect end) to my trips as I return to Barbados, where my adventures continue on!
Jonathan was an excellent server. I had a lay over in Miami for 5 hours and he was nothing but nice, very polite, and friendly. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend coming here. Food was great too thank you to the chefs!
I haven't seen a TGIF in I don't know how many years or even a decade but was excited to see it at the airport. We got sat after a 5 minute way. When you go in the atmosphere is nice and upbeat. It was my lil one and I were traveling and this was our stop and I am happy I saw this place because it did not disappoint at all. Our waitress Joan was just amazing. So sweet and observant. Did not miss a beat on anything we needed. The food was delicious and flavorful. Those parmesaen garlic wings were so delicious. If you have a stop in MIA please stop here. You won't regret it at all.

Thank you always! It's my favorite shop! I recommend it! I always stop by when I arrive and depart from Miami Airport. I will definitely visit you again. Have a good day!
Heavenly dessert. Brownie bathed in chocolate syrup and caramel sauce. Took me to a whole different world. Must try if you are in MIA airport. Couldn’t try the other dishes but the burgers appeared very appetising.

Alyssa was a great bar tender and the food was great. The indoor smoking is great because im sure a lot of people need to smoke when traveling for hours. I got artichoke dip and it was expensive but good. I definitely would recommend to stay here if yo have a lay over.
First time having Breakfast at TGI and everything was so delicious biggest cup of delicious coffee i have ever had in Miami Airport Definitely recommend having breakfast here when in Miami Airport Concourse D

Honestly, I never really leave reviews for airport food. But, if you're in the Miami airport and want lunch or dinner, come here. I do not go to TGI Fridays and haven't been to one in like 10 years…
The staff is always amazing. The food is fresh and the manager Alex is always so friendly and eager to go that extra mile. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is traveling.

We got to the airport early so we had time for lunch. We got the bacon whiskey glazed burger with fries, and the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. The burger was huge, there was a side of bbq sauce to add and dip the fries. The chicken sandwich was ok. It was very plain. The onion rings needed a few more minutes in the fryer. It was busy so service was a little slow.
We hadn’t had Fridays in a long time since they have closed a lot of them down. We tried the one in the airport. Food was good, they did forget to give my husband sauce for his ribs in the container. The wait time was kinda long & the meal of course was expensive in the airport! But it was a one time thing being that we no longer have one! Broccoli could use alittle seasoning! Fridays craving is out the way for a while!
My main complaint was the airport surcharge at this TGI Friday. However, the costumers service was excellent and the place was fairly clean. The food was standard for TGIF, but did the job for a layover meal. They even have an outdoor smoking area, which even though I don't smoke, I like to go to when I'm here just to feel some air on my skin.
First time visited TGI friday, that's on Mimami airport near gate D36. They have two different places for smokers and non-smokers. The non-smoking zone has ample seating. There is bar and screens to watch games. Service is good and quick. We ordered fridays combo wings, boneless wing 12 with blue cheese sauce. Both the dishes are tasty and enough for 3 persons. Overall experience is good
Good food, at a reasonable price. The service wasn't the best, but they were busy, so I understand. Maybe? Additional service charge. I don't think so.

Airport restaurants are a hit or miss but I was pleasantly surprised with this experience. It wasn’t very busy. We were seated in a timely manner and we received our food within a reasonable time. The food was good. Came out hot. Presented well. Our waitress was attentive.

Miami Airport 🛫 Good customer service with very friendly Servers. Chicken was really, really dry. I didnt mind too much though after such a long Flight. Nice restaurant, lots of people in, good vibes.
Went to location in Miami Airport. Had to catch a flight so I got it to go. Got the bucket of bones Got home and reheated. Wasn't what I was expecting. The ribs were dry barely any sauce and the chicken was so so. Don't get me started on the fries. Was disappointed . I may try again in the future
This TGI Fridays was located in Miami airport. The food is always decent there but of course high priced. There isn't much to say that most people already know. Good food, good drinks, If you are hungry or thirsty good place to spend some time

Just a bit different 6 months ago.. Food has a different taste, plastic silverware... Out of some beers Service slow and long time to get food Staff looks like they overeorked and some CC equiepment broken... Per your own staff "Everything is broken here" "Manager do not care" No bueno
My flight was delayed so i had time to kill and was hungrt. The food was bland and lukewarm. My service was bare minimum. Completely disappointing for the price. If I still had the receipt I'd do a review on their site with the details. Don't disappoint your taste buds.
We had a 4 hour layover in Miami International Airport and decided to grab food at Friday’s. Why did we even think that was a good idea?!?! The fries were pretty limp, I bit into a drumstick wing which tasted fine but it was somehow still COLD directly in the middle. I tossed that one to the side and ate another but that is when I grabbed the ranch. The ranch was very watery as if it had been left to sit in a pantry for far too long. I asked the waitress about it and she was pleasant but just excused it basically. When she finally got around to our table again she saw my FULL plate of wings and my dissatisfied face and offered to take it away but never offered any sort of compensation. I paid, I cleaned the table, I gave her a tip and I could not even eat my food. I do not even want to be bothered with T G I Friday’s again after this. $50 for a burger with limp fries and cold wings (with watery ranch) that was barely touched. Also, there were PLENTY of hostesses and waitresses just standing around giggling with one another while ALL of the tables around us were waiting for their checks, refills, and napkins.

Busy, noisy, crowded. Ignored by waiters, I watched as others who arrived with me finished their meals. I finally called the manager, complained, and left.

I went to eat here for breakfast as I waited for my flight. It was not clean and the servers were slow. I ordered an espresso martini & it had bugs floating in it. I sent it back & three times it came w/bugs. Finally I just asked for it to be taken off of my ticket. The hostess and manager acted like they did not care about the inconvenience. In fact the hostess seemed annoyed. There were no apologies and no compensation. I will never go back to this location.
Stopped in for dinner before a connecting flight home with some friends. Two of us got a burger and fries and we both got food poisoning less than 24 hours after this meal.
Service was great! Food was NOT! So much grease on the chicken sandwich and their Cobb salad was laughable with legit 5 pieces of chicken. Price vs food quality just doesn’t add up.
The restaurant was very busy today. I was told by the hostess that I would not have to sign in to sit at the bar. So I just waited for an open chair. I waited for 45min for chair to be available. While settling in at the bar, I was told by a manager that I needed to sign in to sit at the bar. I mentioned to her that I waited 45min and the hostess mentioned to me that I did not have to sign in to seat at the bar. The manager said it was fine for me to seat at the bar after talking to hostess. What’s weird to me is that me another woman went to bar at the same time and I was the one only asked if I signed in. I just think restaurant was run unorganized and not professional. I decided to find somewhere else to eat.
I have pass through Miami International Airport a few times. This is my 2nd visit to TGI Friday. It sadden me that negative review is valid. I understand a visit sometime can be negative, but the food quality has not improved. It is not worth eating. There is better places to enjoy a good meal. My TGI Friday platter was cold. Potatoes skin is not what they used to like back in the day. TGI Friday need to get their food quality under control!
Was a to-go order. My lettuce had a bad smell and was spoiled, the fries were very burnt with too much salt, the hamburger meat was okay out of the whole meal. One of the waitresses gave me part of the change, but if I hadn't complained, I wouldn't have gotten my full change. Another waiter was very kind to refill my bottle of water. I didn't see much fast food in Gate D.
Food was deplorable. I cannot believe the health dept is allowing this stuff to be served. Wings taste like cardboard. Shut down n start over. Ribs do not taste good. They used to like 10 years ago.
