I love it! From New York in Miami to celebrate my sisters birthday! When I tell you I wished I found this place sooner during our week trip, I TRULY TRULY wish we had found this place sooner. All them club and lounges by Wynwood are nothing compared to this place. It’s home away from home. The food is soooooo good and the atmosphere…..OMGGG, incredible. The staff, host and the manager are so nice and hospitable. We came for ladies night and I can honestly say we was pampered to the max!!! DEFINITELY COMING HERE AGAIN WHEN WE VISIT MIAMI! I highly recommend coming here cuz you gunna have such a great time! Look them up on TikTok and their website. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

If your ever visiting Miami seeking the Haitian experience, specifically its cuisine, The Kat's Restaurant/Lounge should definitely be considered. The food was well-served and expertly prepared. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu. The music played in the background was great, and you’re truly immersed in Haitian culture. I would highly recommend it.

Went here for my birthday on poetry slam night. Got way more than I bargained for. It was the best birthday ever! The artists performed amazingly. The food was great. The chef was friendly. The server, Faline, was a sweetheart, and the owner was a true gentleman. I'm am introvert and hate going out, but this place made me comfortable and happy. 😁

I had a wonderful experience at the Katz restaurant in North Miami. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-presented. I enjoyed the legume avocado toast with pikliz (pickled vegetable relish) as an appetizer. The portions were generous and the flavors were amazing. The drinks were also very good, and well worth the money. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and lively. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Haitian cuisine or wants to try something new and exciting.

Went for poetry night 🌙. Definitely going again. Bar tenders were nice too. Atmosphere is beautiful. Great music 🎶. Great place for a date as well. Plenty of free parking in the back. Also right next to a lively bar establishment to visit afterwards.

Becareful readers and dble check your order, 1st time for everything,I ordered a shrimp ceaser salad,it had 5 croutons,5 shrimps,NO Parmesan cheese and it was almost $20,best part is it was dry so I went and got the ceaser dressing,turns out it was a RANCH,never had a ceaser salad with ranch,but when yu ar hungry,yu ar hungry especially after a long drive,i ate it and then had a stomach ache,imagine that,....

I ordered my food at 9 to only get it at 11:20 and the food was unsatisfactory as it was warm NOT HOT!!!

My friends and I came to Katz for Mellow Mondays. Unfortunately we feel that they have dropped the balls in service. To start with we were charged 20pp for a long booth which would have no problem if the service matched what we paid for. Upon ordering drinks we were pretty much told they didn’t have anything to make drinks with. Our bartender offered to make us martinis, margaritas and other drinks. The drinks took a VERY long time to be made and come back to our table. When they did arrive, they were not good at all. We requested other items such as wine and beer but they were just out of everything. This was a huge let down. We all decided to just stick to mojitos instead. Despite the service being slow, the food, DJ, atmosphere and the POETS were absolutely amazing. The food took a little long but it was worth the wait. It was authentic Haitian food that was full of flavor. The DJ had amazing vibes when playing RNB music keeping the crowd engaged. The performers were real and deep in their delivery with the poems they shared. The feature of the night was the best of all! The only thing I’m disappointed about was paying over 100$ for poor service.

Horrible. I’ve gotten my order canceled in three different instances. I just wanted 20 minutes just for my order to get canceled without explanation. Most places at least call you so that you can have the option to change your order. Unbelievable!

I went for the Ja Rule event and the bartenders were completely lost. And double charged my card. I called to speak to a manager and no one knows when the manager will be there.

He rushed me out of the lounge, instead of telling me in a polite way that; I could not sleep inside the lounge, he tapped me on my shoulder very hard; and I did not like his behavior. By coming to me face to face, he did not do that, I am very disappointed. Also, I was there to celebrate a female's birthday; since January 24th, 2026, she had to go home to change her clothes; to be ready for her birthday 😔😡

It’s a shame — the location is large and has potential, but the execution on every front (food, drinks, service, cleanliness) is a complete failure. I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time or money here.
