Un baluardo della tradizione per i milanesi, ristorante di gran classe. Cucina eccellente e servizio impeccabile, e aggiungo atmosfera senza pari. (per le aride polemiche circa il menu senza prezzi faccio presente che sono una donna e a volte ho ospiti ai quali non voglio far sapere cosa spendono, e dato che il conto lo pago io non vedo proprio dove sia il sessismo. Il menu senza prezzi è una delicatezza che pochissimi ristoranti al mondo hanno ancora) Grazie, Boeucc!

Hanno fatto molto bene a portare in tribunale la solita altezzosa che di fronte ad una gentilezza si è comportata da cafona. Bastava semplicemente chiedere il menù con il listino prezzi. Spero che vincano la causa e che facciano causa anche a chi ha messo una stella senza essere stati ad un ristorante che è tra i più storici di Milano. Vergogna per voi!

Il mio ristorante preferito in assoluto. Non solo il cibo è magnifico, ma si ritrova quella cura, la gentilezza e eleganza antica che ormai va perdendosi. Lunga vita a Boeucc! 🤍

The best Osso Bucco and risotto Milanese in Milan! We were recommended to this restaurant by Milanese and it didn’t let us down. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The osso bucco was very tender with risotto together were perfectly balance. The restaurant is newly furnished. It’s in a very beautiful and historical building. Overall, the food was excellent. The service was attentive and friendly.

Swiss Brownie

A true classic that proudly keeps its traditions alive. You can immediately sense the heritage of this restaurant, which dates back to 1696. The atmosphere, service, and even the dress code reflect its timeless character. The food was excellent, with a fine selection of wines as you would expect in Italy. I especially enjoyed the Risotto alla Milanese and Ossobuco, both cooked to perfection. If you appreciate traditional dining with history and class, this is definitely the right place.

It’s an elegant place where you might occasionally spot Milan’s aristocracy and old high society, but rarely a loud, flashy tourist. There’s truly nothing else like it. The atmosphere is understated yet inviting: bright lighting, no background music, classic Italian furnishings, and simple fresh roses. It subtly reminds you to set aside any pretenses and focus on what matters most here—the food. There were two of us on a Monday evening, and the restaurant was nearly fully booked. We started with the Veal pâté, followed by Ossobuco and risotto alla milanese - the best we’ve had in three years in Milan. The Spaghetti alle vongole, revisited with asparagus, was a delightful spring accent. And then, the desserts. Normally, I’d choose another glass of wine over sweets, but that night, I gave in: Tarte Tatin with gelato alla crema, Affogato di zabaione with marron glacé gelato, and Gelato alla crema with wild berries. Of course, the wine selection is more than enough to satisfy any taste, with over 240 labels from top wineries across Italy. The service? Impeccable—nothing more to add, except the charisma of the owner, Marco.

Traditional, tradition, tradition. The restaurant has been around for over 325 years. Walking through the entrance and into the main dining hall you feel the history and tradition. Dining tables covered with pristine white table clothes, waiters, dressed in evening wear and bow ties. One immediately knows you are in a special place. The service, goes without saying is perfect, the waiters are friendly and very helpful. The food, traditional Milanese, is amazing, prepared and presented perfectly and tastes divine. We love visiting the restaurant, it takes you away to a different era. Highly recommended.

True taste of Milanese food, elegant, tasty and magnificent. The entrance hallway has a cabinet with a plate displayed inside, signed by none other than Mr. Giuseppe Zanotti. He comes in when he likes and the restaurant would cook him what he likes even at odd times like 11pm at night. Risotto is yummy and a must try.

We recently had the pleasure of trying a risotto that left a lasting impression on our taste buds. This dish was truly outstanding, and it is one of the best risottos I have ever tasted. As I took my first bite, I was immediately struck by the creaminess of the dish. The risotto had a luscious texture that was both smooth and velvety, and the rice grains were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of bite. The flavor profile of this risotto was equally impressive. The dish was rich and savory, with a deep umami taste that lingered on my tongue. The rice had absorbed all of the flavors of the broth, resulting in a deliciously complex and layered taste. As a desert, we had the pleasure of indulging in a truly decadent tiramisu that was nothing short of heavenly. This desert was a perfect balance of flavours and textures, and it left me wanting more. The texture of this tiramisu was simply divine. The mascarpone cheese was light and airy, with a velvety smoothness that melted in my mouth. The ladyfingers were soft and tender, providing a perfect contrast to the creamy filling. Where do i even start? One of the Best dining experiences we've had. First, the staff. The level of professionalism, hospitality, hosting and service was impeccable. Second, the food. We ordered baby octopus in tomato sauce, curry shrimp, pistachio tuna as savory and each one of them was cooked to perfection. And as an autistic person, that says a lot. The favors, textures, temperature, cook time were all 100% perfect. Lastly, we order apple tart and tiramisu with a twist, requested to add candles for the birthday. The tiramisu was amazing, but the apple tart was nothing short of divine. I have to again go back to the staff, because when i handed them the candles they just replied "understood" and later came in with 1 holding the desserts and the other walking in front to hide it and surprise her. It was genuinely so warm and welcoming. If we come to Milan again, we are 100% coming here again. THANK YOU!

Average Tiramisu. Very nice fried octopus, not perfect though. Bread was fresh. Prosecco was good. Pasta was very delicious. Olive oil for the bread too. Fancy water. Place a bit too bright and no music (could be more comfortable). Staff all wear suits and ties which looks cool, also very professional and friendly.

Storico ristorante milanese situato nel cuore della città, di fianco alla Scala. Menu vario ma se si va bisogna assolutamente prendere i piatti tipici, specialmente la cotoletta alla milanese e il risotto con l’ossobuco. La cotoletta era fritta in modo perfetto, leggera e veramente buona. Il risotto buono ma, purtroppo, è stato servito un po’ freddo e quindi poco cremoso, peccato. Anche per i dolci c’è una vasta scelta, ottimi i sorbetti. Personale veramente disponibile e l’atmosfera è molto bella.

Buon ristorante anche nella nuova sede, ma sempre a prezzi non contenuti (risotto euro 30) e a volte esagerati (mezza bottiglia d'acqua euro 6 !! e caffè euro 3,00, dessert euro 15,00). Alcuni camerieri sono simpatici e molto professionali, ma uno, in particolare, è un'eccezione: è sbrigativo, quasi villano quando gli chiedi cos'hai nel piatto (una polpetta con un nome dialettale), ti lancia il conto "en passant". E' facile identificarlo: non troppo alto, con gli occhiali, senza capelli. Quindi al servizio ho dato solo 2 stelle. Mi spiace per lui.

A must for a taste of a Milanese institution. Excellent Risotto and veal chop milanese. The wine we were recommended was excellent. The risotto saltato was nice but should come either as a smaller option or with an accompaniment to somehow cut the richness. Elegant atmosphere but not as warm and special as the old location.

The restaurant has been moved to a new location, elegant and fancy. Maybe not so authentic as the previous one, but still a great place to visiting when in Milan. Professional service, great wine pairing. Risotto with ossobuco was very good but I found the price of 50€ too expensive.

Very good service, ok food, good atmosphere and expensive place. I would say Its a Posh place(One bottle of wine, two appetizers, two main dish, water cost 160 Euros. We usually order this much and payed around 100 Euros so I guess it’s 50% more expensive than other ristorante) They have good selection of wine list. Quite good service. Food was ok. Nothing really special. Parmaham and melon was good, scallops(gratin style with grated cheese) was ok, Milanese veal chop = schnitzel if I knew I s schnitzel, I would have ordered something else. Osobucco(risotto with saffron) was quite nice. Bread was good. Wine was good. If I go back there, I’ll order chateaubriane.(the one next table ordered looked like chateaubriane and it looked really good)

Decent food and good bread. The waiter hovered over the table until we chose a wine. It was pretty uncomfortable. I felt he was trying to upsell the entire time as well. My wife got the veal and saffron risotto while I got the linguini with lobster. The veal was above average while my dish was basic and left a lot to be desired. The tiramisu was just ok, nothing to write home about. This restaurant is overpriced for what you get. It gets 4 stars because of the veal and bread.

Ristorante storico e di lusso di Milano situato a montenapoleone. Gli interni sono d'epoca, anche se non ho trovato un ristorante perfettamente curato in ogni suo aspetto, il che ritengo sia un'esigenza per un cliente che decide di passare una serata qui. I camerieri sono sì ben vestiti come si addice a un ristorante di lusso, ma non ho trovato un servizio eccellente sopra la norma rispetto a un normale ristorante della città. Per quanto riguarda il cibo mi aspettavo qualcosa in più, non ho trovato nulla di particolare o straordinariamente buono.

Location molto bella.Buon servizio indubbiamente.Atmosfera non saprei in quanto il ristorante era completamente vuoto e ci ha messo un pò di soggezione,abbiamo anche come percepito una certa fretta affinché andassimo via,nonostante abbiamo prenotato negli orari regolarmente previsti. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, le aspettative ,considerando la tipologia di location e i costi erano altissime, ma ci hanno tradito. Assolutamente nulla di ché,anzi (spaghetti alle vongole non dico insapore ma non sentivi certo il mare, non adeguatamente umidi e freddi;calamari fritti era praticamente tutta pastella del calamaro non sentivi neanche il ricordo, riso con i gamberi tutto riso, gamberi cicciotto ma non sempre senza sapore di mare.)... Bell'esperienza per prova una volta ma non fa voglia di tornarci ad essere sinceri.Tutto sommato ci siamo trovati comunque bene.

I decided to try this place out due to the very high rating . We were visiting Milan for the first time so I wanted to try some place that served traditional Milanese dishes . The food was tasty , personally not worth the price in my opinion . The waiter that we had served us well. The atmosphere however wasn't that great . Eventhough the waiter was polite I felt as if I was always being watched the whole way through (not in a good way) . My gut felt uneasy and I wasn't able to relax . If you're into high end restaurants and vintage style I would recommend this place . Otherwise I would say to try someplace else with a more casual atmosphere. Price for 3 of us with one dish each , a drink and shared one dessert between us was €170.
