Sempre una garanzia, soprattutto se vi piace la 'nduja. Ottime le paste e splendidi i filetti. Mitico il tiramisù (prenotatelo all' inizio del pasto...). ........................ Ci si torna sempre volentieri. Stavolta bruschette e caciocavallo alla piastra con 'nduja. Non poteva mancare il tiramisù. Buona lista dei vini da cui abbiamo scelto un Primitivo e un Nero d"Avola. Con il dessert da provare il passito di Greco.

Dongio was our first meal in Italy and what a first meal it was. The food was amazing, the pasta I ate with pesto and tomatoes was incredible and my husband got the meatballs that came highly recommended. They ran out of tiramisu for dessert, so we got the chocolate caramel tart and it was SO good. Highly recommend.

My first dining experience in Milan and also my favorite restaurant that I experienced. Quaint family owned restaurant. The owners take pride in their home made pasta dishes. Reasonably priced wine list with good bottles to be had for 20 euros. It was a short cab ride from the touristy restaurants near the Duomo, but well worth the ride!

Firstly, I thought I had a reservation, but actually I didnt do it. I told them and as I had already walked all the way there with my mother, they prepared a table for us!... Its not often that you see this kind of gentle gestures, I truly appreciate it! Secondly, the food! Absolutely fantastic, I had the linguine a la cafoncello and my mother had the parmiguiana, both were super tasty, generous portions, I enjoyed every bite, one of those dishes you are wishing never ends. For dessert we had a Tiramisu, and hands down one of the best I ever had. Price/value is super super good, for two mains, a dessert, water, a glass of wine and a beer we paid below €50, which is a very good price nowadays. If you can dont doubt it, just go! But do make a reservatio not like myself 😅

A longstanding institution with timeless dishes. It was difficult to choose which pasta to try but from the taste and quality of the ones we tried, I wouldn’t leave without trying a pasta. (Highly recommend the scallop pasta). The desserts were especially delicious. The tiramisu had a light, fluffy ricotta filling paired with an amazing espresso flavour. The ginger cheesecake was smooth and rich, but not a heavy end to the meal. A must-visit for anyone wanting a great meal in Milan.

I ordered the Tamaro pasta with Nduja, but I think they have other more interesting dishes on the menu, so I suggest trying something else or asking the staff for a suggestion. This place needs 10 out of 5 stars. We’ve been in Italy for 2 weeks and this has been by far the best dinner. - this was the best cheesecake i have ever had…and I don’t even like cheese -the beef fillet was so incredibly tender (highly recommend) -make reservations as soon as you can.

Walked in at opening on a Monday night without a reservation and we were kindly offered a table. The pasta was delicious and we had recently enjoyed excellent homemade pasta in Turin at a Michelin recognized restaurant, so it was on par with that experience, although in a more low-key environment. This homey mom and pop shop with handmade pasta is also a bib gourmand restaurant ~ I had been eyeing this restaurant for a few days and it worked to be able to try it out. We popped in late afternoon and they were quite busy. They quickly seated us and we each ordered a primi and a secondi. The food arrived quickly. The veal with tuna was unique. I was expecting thicker pieces of veal. Overall, a nice appetizer. The chicken bites were way more substantial and each bite of chicken, eggplant and tomato really held its own in the dish. The pastas were each made so well and we were blown away. The seafood sauce with shrimp and squid ink pasta was out of this world and my SO's pasta topped with bacon was phenomenol. This is a must visit when you are in Milan. Better yet, your stomach and wallet are both happy after this meal.

We went to Dongio for dinner. We were there as one of the first guest for the evening. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The waiter suggested a very good wine. For the meal we chose different appetisers to share and then a primi and secondi per person. Dessert was then to share again. Overall a very good dinner and a great experience. Thank you

Recommend to make reservation before hand. Appreciate friendly host tried his best to arrange me a table despite I was running late and the restaurant is busy. Pasta I order is amazing, simple yet flavourful! Tiramisu and carafe red wine is great too. All dishes were nicely plate, and at an appropriate pricing. Will definitely back here again.

The food is tasty, but the service is extremely disappointing. During my visit, I felt that the servers treated Asian customers unfairly. I asked for the dessert menu and waited for more than 20 minutes, while a white customer received it immediately. They didn’t even want the desserts, and only after they refused did the waiter hand the same menu to us. This is clearly racial discrimination. If you only care about the food, you might still come, but be prepared to tolerate unfair treatment if you’re asian.

Che delusione! Torniamo dopo anni in questo ristorante sempre pieno e niente è cpme dovrebbe. Da un ristorante calabrese ci aspettiamo, così come avevamo sempre ricevuto, piatti abbondanti, sapori forti e decisi, e soprattutto, come dovunque, cibo espresso. Le paste sono discrete, ma con sapori senza anima, la pasta con la salsiccia piccante calabrese era quasi dolce e di piccante non c'era traccia. La cosa più grave è il caciocavallo alla griglia che è arrivato a tavola appena tiepido e gommoso, con la quasi certezza che fosse stato preparato prima e riscaldato, tant'è che lo abbiamo rimandato indietro ed è tornato lo stesso piatto scaldato al microonde. In più cena praticamente di corsa, piatti portati troppo presto per essere espressi o comunque fatti con amore e in 35 minuti cena finita. Davvero da dimenticare, inspiegabile che rimanga sulle guide, frequentato infatti ormai solo da turisti, i calabresi sono scappati giustamente tutti (anche tra il personale)
