Went here looking for some Pizza whilst in Milan. Having come across this restaurant we went inside and were given Bruschetta on the house. For an appetiser we ordered Focaccia with parma then for our main we ordered a margherita and the praga with coke zeros. The food was delicious amd tasted fresh. The service was excellent, staff were really kind making an effort to speak English and were there to assist if we needed anything. In total it came to €42 in total which felt very reasonable for the food.
Amazing place, amazing food and amazing service. We felt like we were visiting relatives who cooked for us and made us feel so welcomed! As Sicilian myself I was extremely impressed with the level of service here! The women who run the place are so sweet and made this whole experience incredible!
We had a lovely lunch at this welcoming trattoria. The staff were kind and attentive, and they handled my husband’s allergies with care and confidence, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and safe. They offered gluten-free options an amended a regular dish on the menu to cater for allergies, which was a big plus. The food was tasty and felt true to a typical Italian trattoria—satisfying and well-prepared. If you’re looking for a casual spot with genuine hospitality and thoughtful service, this is a solid choice.
The staff was friendly and extra kind to us, the service was exceptional. They serve bruscheta to start (free of charge) fresh and delicious. We got the calzone and pumpkin pasta and they were very good. The atmosphere was the typical welcoming warm Italian hospitality. As people arrived they were greeted as if the waitress knew them, with 2 kisses - i asked at the end if she knew all those people or if they were regulars, she said no - that's just me. I said I wanted a hug and in 1 sec she hugged me as if she was my mama. On a Wednesday night the restaurant was full. Super recommended.
The pizza was the very best we had in italy in three months. The ladies were amazingly nice! We saw some other food from other customers, which looked and smelled amazing. Would highly recommend eating here!
We visited Nico’s last week and had the very best experience at your establishment. We ordered a great pizza to share which was brought out on separate plates (a handy touch), and had the most delicious tiramisu paired with cantucci and desert wine. This was thank you to the staff who made excellent recommendations and helped us feel totally looked after. We were encouraged to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, with the staffs kindness and hospitality making that easy. Thank you very much!
This restaurant was a really great hidden gem in Milan! The food was delicious. I had a pizza and was very good. The prices were really great (especially for Milan). The service was fantastic. The lady waitress was working so hard and keeping up with everyone and was so friendly. 10/10 would recommend if you are visiting Milan
I've been to Roma, Torino and now Milano, this is one of the top 5 restaurants I've eaten at after so many, and it's one of the best and most welcoming restaurants I've ever encountered. We were not treated differently because of our Asian faces. The décor is clean and simple, and the dessert counter is right outside for all to see. It was a very impromptu find in Milano and I was really impressed. The pizza capricciosa I ordered was very rich, the carciofo was very juicy, and the red sauce was a real treat. Other than that, as you can see from my photos the pane, the pizza, the primo, their dolce and nevertheless limoncello(ESPECIALLY THEIR LIMONCELLO)it's a restaurant worth visiting!
I was there twice during my stay in Milan and I simply LOVED it! I tried different things but their pizza with eggplants and mozzarella is to die for. Their hostess kept calling me Amore and Tesoro and she was so welcoming and warm. Don’t miss their house wine which was great as well. With dessert you will also get dolce vino with honey. I am just sorry I didn’t ask for the recipe for their pumpkin sauce pasta with smoked ham as my husband told it is the best pasta he ever had 😄😄
the food was good and the restaurant seems to be very liked by the locals, but for me, the pumpkin and gorgonzola risotto was too bland - I expected that “kick” from the gorgonzola and it wasn’t there, couldn’t barely taste it. the pizza is very good, good price and good size. the staff is super friendly and even gave us some free wine and cookies at the end!
After a long day of walking around, we checked out Nico's right when they opened for lunch. We beat the crowd as it filled up pretty quickly. Since it was my first Milan pizza, I tried their pizza with ham, mushroom, and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised at the large size and low cost of this pizza. It was a nice, hand-tossed pizza with a chewy crust and lots of cheese. The only reason, this review didn't garner five stars is that the crust on the bottom was a little too thin which made it drippy when trying to pick up a slice. My wife had a bowl of pasta but unfortunately it wasn't cooked long enough. We do like our pasta al dente, but this still needed a couple more minutes. The pizza and the past came out right away and the flavors were outstanding. Overall, the service and atmosphere was excellent. Great sauce flavor on the pasta. And the bill with a bottle of mineral water was about 22 euros. I would have gone back if I had the chance. 9.50 Euros for the pizza alone!
