We really enjoyed morning at this café. The atmosphere is incredibly cosy with a very neat, minimalist design that feels calming. The staff were wonderful—very friendly and clearly well-prepared regarding the menu. There is a good selection for breakfast, and the absolute highlight was the croissant with yuzu cream, which was super delicious. However, there are a couple of things to note: the cappuccino cup was very small compared to standard serving sizes, and the pain au chocolat could be better. Despite that, it’s a lovely spot that I would recommend for the unique vibes and yuzu pastry."
Awesome place, they are super strong on matcha, yuzu and avocado made products. The place is very nice and they offer plenty of inviting sweet treats. We took one pain au chocolates and one yuzu cream croissant, the pain au chocolate was good and the croissant was awesome and the yuzu cream fenomenal
Cute little cafe with Japanese bakery style products and good coffee / matcha options. It’s very popular so prepare yourselves for a long queue during the weekend at breakfast time if you don’t come early enough. Better during the week. The bakery products are very good - love the croissants and the miso cinnamon bun. Also the eggs are lovely! Want to try the shokupan and anpan next.
Pan Milano is a cozy Japanese bakery in Milan known for its excellent matcha and desserts. Their matcha latte is smooth and well-balanced, with a rich, earthy flavor that’s not too bitter. The cheesecake is a standout—light, creamy, and just sweet enough. A great spot for anyone who enjoys refined, Japanese-inspired treats.
Coffeeshop with a Japanese style far away from the center but victim of its success, it's always full of people! They are known for their filled croissants and pastries. We really enjoyed our granola and shokupan toast, however, a little bit disappointed by the pastries: the filled croissant hadn't enough filling and the cinnamon and miso roll wasn't as tasty as I expected.
A cute hangout spot with nice selection of Asian pastries! The atmosphere was nice, quite young and contemporary but the seating was very limited. The pastries were solid, our favourite was definitely the curry bun, very similar to the ones I had back home. The drinks were also very good. They also have a few brunch selections, though we did not try them. I’d recommend it as a place to catch up with your friends over some coffee and nice pastries.
The shop is really cute and welcoming, i love the green design. I’ve ordered the cold matcha latte and a matcha crossaint, the total cost of the meal was 6,5€, the latte was good and cold, the matcha layer was divided quite visible and it tasted good, the matcha wans’t super strong but okay, the crossaint was okay, the filling wasn’t much of strong flavour, and the filling was all in one side so quite disproportionate. The staff was really kind and ready to serve. The bathroom was quite modern and clean. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience.
We try to come here as often as possible, for I admire the chef Tokuyoshi's creations. However I must point out that this time it has been a series of disappointments. Firstly, even though we've book…
As a customer who has taken care of the store many times, this store is becoming more and more disappointing, the quality control of the bread is not good, the new mushroom one is particularly greasy, and the taste is unbalanced (the overall taste is not as delicious as the previous zucchini), the filling of the curry bun has become less, and there is too much oil, the whole bread body tastes very oily, and the hygiene of the toilet is also worrying....I hope that the store can maintain the same level of taste and hygiene as before
this trendy place is leaning a bit more towards the pretentious side. their matcha is alright, not the best as everyone on social media claims it to be. also, good luck finding a reservation because it’s always PACKED and 0 walk-ins during weekends the service was honestly not that friendly either and i’m not sure if i’m willing to go through all that for a matcha drink and some pastries while there are better options in the city
I was walking on the neighborhood and needed to get breakfast, stumbled upon this place. Super cute japanese vibes for sure. Beware of the long line. It had a line even on a weekday. They have good matcha and nice baked goods. First time I went there I was too early for brunch, so I settled for a grilled cheese sandwich with shokupan. It was huge, I had the other half to go. The second time I tried the miso-cinnamon croissant cube in the afternoon, it was nice but I wonder if it would be better if I had it more fresh, like earlier in the day. TL;DR food’s good. The service on the other hand could improve; there’s a long line usually and it just would be nice if they acknowledged you or checked up on you once in a while. Also hard to get the waiters’ attention. Except for that ine guy who recommended the miso croissant cube, he was polite and attentive. Would go again!
I was excited but disappointed. All aesthetics from food to restaurant design (including toilet) are really great, but the food was completely tasteless (and cold when it was meant to be hot). We went around midday, so maybe it was made early morning and put in the fridge for hours, but I saw the food enter my mouth and my tastebuds were confused. Only the potato salad, which was already cold, was ok, as well as the matcha. This is still probably worth a visit for the pastries, but if it’s like this all the time don’t get the brunch.
