A place with excellent food. The staff is very friendly. The portions are huge; one is enough for two people. The octopus is spectacular, as is the seafood salad, the cod… and the desserts are superb. The strawberry tart is simply indescribable: marvelous. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

I've been to this place twice and I can confirm that the food is wonderful. The first time I went, which was during the week, we ordered the set menu (for €10, two courses, dessert, a drink, and coffee). We ordered chicken with mushroom sauce, which was spectacular, and croquettes, which were even better. The second time we went was on a weekend and they didn't have the set menu, so we ordered three dishes: croquettes, which are some of the best I've ever tasted; octopus, also delicious; and raxo (pork loin), which was tasty, but I personally didn't like it as much. Whenever we kayak in the Fragas do Iguaçu Natural Park, we eat here afterward, and we'll continue to do so.

We had a fantastic meal. Yesterday my partner and I went, and we truly ate like kings. The portions are huge, so don't be greedy like us and order wisely. They serve a delicious homemade empanada as a starter. The baby squid was incredibly tender, we highly recommend it. Don't leave without trying the desserts.

The best place to eat, excellent menu, and the cocido (by order) is amazing. The staff is excellent... a large restaurant with a terrace and parking. And with the option of taking excursions after lunch... Monfero Monastery, the impressive Fragas do Eume Natural Park, Carbueira viewpoint... Unbeatable. Highly recommended.

We ate like never before ❤️ The staff is super attentive and the owner is charming. My family had a super stew, and when I asked about the vegetarian options they had, the owner came to the table and offered to make me a HUGE vegetable stir-fry with two INCREDIBLE fried eggs. And the dessert... Wow! An assortment of filloas, corn ears, anise doughnuts, cheese, and quince jelly that we had to take home in a Tupperware because the portions were so huge. One day we'll return from Nigrán solely and exclusively to eat like today 😄

A perfect place to enjoy excellent tapas with your meal, as well as to sample the various well-prepared and delicious lunch or dinner dishes (weekend). They also offer a daily menu during the week, which is plentiful, varied, and perfectly prepared. The desserts are very tasty and well-prepared.

A typical village tavern where peace and friendliness reign. Great homemade food. It's a shame they don't have stew in the summer. The hake in cockle sauce is delicious.

The name is fitting; don't expect a restaurant, it's a village tavern. There are no frills, but you'll find typical Galician home cooking, made with locally sourced ingredients. You'll need to be very hungry, as the portions are very generous...very generous! The quality-price ratio is good. The service is very pleasant and friendly. The problem is when someone orders a ribeye steak to be cooked tableside...it quickly fills with smoke and an odor that you'll inevitably take home with you. The homemade desserts also look good. The house red wine is pleasant. Ample parking is available in front. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
