Wonderful Korean barbecue experience. We were hosted by a korean American expert Incredible variety in food. Barbecue beef was especially delicious. Staff were kind and accommodating to our large party.
12/14/2025 We had a wonderful dinner, excellent dishes and service. Party of 10 and sit in a private room, BBQ is tasty and waitress cook for us and spicy port, dumplings soup, dumplings is jumbo size, noddle , tofu soup, all dishes have excellent flavor. One of must visit Korean restaurant in Milpitas / Bay Area
I come here occasionally for Korean BBQ and it’s always a pleasant experience. The quality of the meat is pretty good, and all the side dishes are fresh, clean, and flavorful. One thing I really appreciate is that the staff cooks the meat for you right at the table, which makes the whole meal super convenient and enjoyable. The atmosphere is comfortable, the service is attentive, and everything feels well taken care of. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy delicious Korean BBQ without any hassle.
Nice Korean cuisine. The service is extremely well. The regular dishes like tofu soup, bibimbap, seafood pancake are good. But their most famous dishes is Korean BBQ. The beef is really tender. I would recommend marinated beef, that is something restaurant does better. I would come here more often in the future.
Came here for lunch. I was initially shocked by the prices listed on the menu but I must say the serving sizes justify them. Essentially you can serve two people IMO per each meat serving - slightly more in quantity than less priced locations per an individual serving. You make that adjustment plus the service, it’s a solid kbbq place you can go to when you are in town. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
Fresh, clean food, tasty, super quickly made food, clean restaurant, very attentive staff and nice, and overall a great food experience whether with friends or alone. Plenty of seating. Decor is modern and unique with pretty seats even at the waiting area (see pic). No lunch specials but prices are fair as the quality and speed of food prepared is great. I ordered my bibimbap (it was the not hot pot one which has to take more time) and under 7 min later it was at my table and I started eating especially as I had to get to an appointment. The sides were perfect and inside the vegetarian bibimbap they created a nice tofu addition most places don’t do and it was great. They also have complimentary beef broth soup w the Bibimbap which was also a pleasant surprise and very good bc most places give you miso soup but this is the authentic Korean soup that’s so good for you. And perfect with the rice. The bathroom was clean and lovely. I forgot my charging case and one waitress noticed and ran out to catch me and I really appreciated that! Thank you. 감사합니다 잘 먹었어요.
Loved it! The food is great! The vegetarian options are limited but we liked whatever we had. The radish and cucumber based sides were amazing. We tried both the soy sauce and spicy sauce based vegetable noodles. The one with spicy sauce tasted better. The braised beef was said to be great too (from friends). They also have bbq on the table.
Hungry for lunch, went to tofu house for lunch but they said they were closed, it was only 1:30 pm. So I came here for lunch, buckwheat cold noodle was okay but boosam, steamed pork with cabbage wrap was awesome, one of best I had in years! Price was little pricey but it was worth it! Staffs were friendly and nice atmosphere!
Very good quality and excellent service. A little expensive if you do the BBQ, but there are less expensive options. The meat was delicious and the side dishes were good as well. Even the rice was well done. The interior decor is nice and you sit in nice booths that are comfortable. This is a good place for couples or groups to dine at.
Came by Jang Su Jang for a large party. Staff was very friendly, and food was really good. I do enjoy Jang Su Jang, but they are definitely quite pricey for what you get. Parking in the plaza is relatively easy to find.
Very expensive for the quality of the food they give. There are several other korean joints giving better food at lower price. Food was tasty and side dishes were ample.
01.09.25 11am Really, 3.5 stars so far and better than the base El Camino location. Dolsot (돌솥 = hot stone) Bibimbap (비빔밥 = mixed rice, vegetable, meat bowl with seasoned red pepper paste sauce & crispy rice bottom layer) is good, better than most other Korean restaurants. Dolsot bibimbap always needs real sesame oil finishing on top. Tofu stew was just ok, edible but not delicious. Haven't tried their galbi (갈비 = marinated/unmarinated beef short ribs) variety or galbijjim (갈비찜 = large amount of braised short ribs) or galbitang (갈비탕 = beef short ribs stew in clear broth, fat removed) here yet. Korean restaurant Tofu Plus in Cupertino, across from the Apple Campus, has delicious galbitang and pretty good galbi.
Lively Korean BBQ place with propane grills and the meat is grilled for you by the staff. Lot of beef options for the grill, but limited pork and chicken items. Also have some tofu stew, bibimbap, fish, dumpling soup, noodles, and jungsik options. Friendly and efficient service. Large free parking lot.
Have dinner at this restaurant in order to explore more locations that serve Korean-style tofu soups. The results are satisfying and the added order of bulgogi is also great other than the price that is a bit high for the amount served. Overall, the service is great and the ambience is also nice and quiet. However, the price may be a turn-off for those who are price conscious.
This place is inside a plaza, so there are plenty of parking spaces. We went there for a barbecue. The service was great and the staff helped us with the barbecue. We ordered the Marinated beef short ribs, sliced pork belly, and acorn noodles tossed with vegetables and soy sauce dressing, tofu soup. And they gave us a lot of small side dishes. The noodle dish was not recommended. Other than that, the barbecue was great.
One of the many Jang Su Jang restaurants in the area. While the environment is nice and their banchan dishes are great, the prices are a little steep, especially for KBBQ. Their portion sizes for the BBQ (we had the LA Galbi) was good, but not worth the price. Their seafood pancake is very filling, so be prepared since it's thicker than one would think. Their tofu soup (soondubu jjigae) has many spice options, but their medium is perfect for those with some good spice tolerance. The service here is really good, and I appreciate the hot rice tea that was served.
Quite a large restaurant, has tables with grill and without. Came here for lunch and ordered several typical Korean dishes. The small free appetizers were okay, average. The beef short ribs, unfortunately, were not as good as I had expected based on the restaurant's reputation, too tough. The seafood pancake was good size, but surprisingly average. The super sized dumplings were good, with interesting flavors. The cold spicy noodles were acceptable. Somehow, this location of JSJ didn't impress me as I had hoped.
They asked me to wait outside until my whole party arrived, even though it was a weekday lunch and there were many empty tables. Several tables were also being held for other people who hadn’t arrived yet. If you set a rule, it’s better to apply to all.
