The cracked pepper turkey on fresh sourdough was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Got house dressing, mustard, and all the fixings.

Its so delicious! No matter what you get all their food is good. I usually ask them to toast all my sandwiches just cause it makes them warm and cheese melted but all there sandwiches and pizzas are amazing. The are super fast and are kind people. Ive never had a bad experience with staff. Its usally pretty empty so thats why I gave lower on atmosphere just cause there is not usally many people and the decor and tables are pretty standard.

West Coast Sourdough in Modesto absolutely deserves five stars. The sandwiches are always loaded, fresh, and full of flavor, and the sourdough bread is on another level—soft on the inside with that perfect crispy edge. The ingredients taste high-quality, and everything is made exactly the way you want it. The staff is friendly, quick, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a take-home meal, this place never disappoints. Definitely one of the best sandwich spots in Modesto!

My boyfriend and I were looking for something new and fresh while in the Turlock area and came across this new gem. Very clean restaurant , personable staff and friendly service. I ordered the Greek salad with a scoop of tuna, they serve it with their delicious sourdough bread and it was very fresh and delicious! My boyfriend ordered the Turkey sandwich, also very fresh served on their fresh sourdough bread. We were both very pleased and will definitely be back!

Tried this place a few times and it’s definitely all about that bread! Great chewy crust and signature sourdough flavor without being too much bread overall. Personally love the turkey pesto sandwich!

I got the seasonal turkey, apple cranberry and bacon hot sandwich on sourdough. The sandwich was hot, sweet and spicy. The bacon jelly is amazing. The bread was crispy but soft. The staff was friendly and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. This place is great.

I ordered a crack peppered turkey sandwich. It was turkey and they peppered it themselves. This the second time they have done this. Definitely not coming here anymore. False advertisement.

I order the clam chowder in a bread bowl, and was given in cup,. It took them 15 minutes to pour in a cup. It was cold and runny, it looked more like a potatoe soup. and Their service was the worse. would not go back, I could not even give them 1 star

As I continued to eat the sandwich hesitantly, I felt hair after hair in my mouth. When I pulled it out, it looked like bunched up lint fibers. Do you use some sort of cloth near your bread or ingredients? There is no way anyone should find this in their food. I have been a repeat customer and won’t be back. What a disgusting and terrible eating experience!

Disappointed with the Garlic Pesto Turkey. Meat tasted like it was canned, not sliced, very mushy, not flavorful at all. People working the counter seem nice, hope their other menu options are better than what I ate.
