Servicio inmejorable! Recomendadísimo ☀️❤️
We went on 14/10/25 it was dry when we got there but we had a torrential thunder storm whilst there, the staff dealt with it very professionally and it didn’t ruin the occasion.Brilliant place brilliant staff brilliant views if there’s no storm. The food was excellent shown in the pictures, the staff were very attentive and excellent at there job.If I was here again I would certainly be returning.
Fantastic restaurant on a cliff offering breathtaking views and fantastic local food specialties (especially seafood). We loved everything here - from the amazing food and drinks, the lovely atmosphere (ask for a table on their fantastic terrace) and then also the nice and attentive staff ! We had the mussels as a starter and their famous Black Paella (with squid) - absolutely delicious! Muchas grazias por todo! We will definitely return to this restaurant if we have the chance!
Wow, what a stunning view from the restaurant. Very attentive staff, they were kind and almost can read your mind. We had fresh menorcan fish (gallo di San Pedro and Cap roig) worth every penny. Served with fries and baked potatoes and onions. As a starter we had the fried cuttlefish (chipirones fritos) and to be honest, the starter would be my last meal on earth if I had to choose one dish. Had the Verdejo housewine and apple juice for our son. Paid 124 euro for 2 1/2 people and think this is almost too cheap. We’re coming back with the full family. Thanks for the wonderful evening. Fam. Fies
Spectacular sunset views, relaxed setting out of the tourist crouds, perfect service and incredible fresh seafood. We had the clams and lobster paella (admittedly not for those on a budget) but enjoyed every moment. The cheese cake was probably the best I've had in memory! Book ahead and get a table on the terrace.
Delicious Spanish classics in a charming seaside taverna. Overlooks cala mesquita with stunning views of the sunset. Scorpion fish, the namesake of the restaurant was the perfect combination of meaty delicious goodness-quite moreish for a white fish but 100% delicious. 🥘 Rice with cuttlefish was so tender and mouthwatering with a healthy dose of flavourful olive oil...and the pudding of cheesecake was a baked version, suitably light to end the meal. Wine list was also perfect with an albarino being our perfect pairing tip. Atmosphere is wonderful for lazy holiday eating and drinking.
Back to Cap Roig for the fifth time in as many years. It is a staple for us and we love each visit. Great food, great service and a great view. What's not to like?! See you again next year.

360 view on ocean and bay. Really special. Shellfish and wine specialists. Be careful not to order to many battered dishes like we did. Dishes are well made and tasteful
Menudas vistaaas!!
Calidad precio: mal. 70€/pp por comer bien, pero nada espectacular.
I'm slightly disappointed... This used to be a really great place and today it was just good. It's a fantastic setting, the views are amazing and the seating is great. But everything else was just good or ok. Yes, it's well cooked very fresh seafood but no green veg in sight - just thoroughly average chips. Restaurants everywhere have improved but Cap Roig has stood still.
Great view, great food. They charge us 100 euros for Gallo Pedro fish, I did not complain and paid as the fish was marked as 60 euros kg, but when we where leaving the metre approached us and Commentwd tgatbtgarw has been a mistake and they returned the money. The fish was really good the service too. The starters were also great.

We've been coming here for many years and have recommended it to many but sadly the last 2-3 times have been a let down. Very very small portions and some cold. Small fish for euro 100 that barely fed 2 let alone 3 and was just grilled plain no interring flavours or seasoning. Smell plate of cold chips that barely served 2 not 4 so we had to ask for (and be charged for) another small plate. Charged extra for Alioli served in a tiny ashtray on top of bread we weren't asked if we wanted. Not very busy but service wasn't very attentive. No one bothered checking if the food was ok and we had to keep chasing for missing items. Stunning setting but sadly let down too often by the drop in food standard / quantity. We'll be looking elsewhere.
We were very excited to try this place and given the good reviews we made it our very first top of our trip after landing at the airport. The starts were delicious, garlic prawns were 11/10. Sadly given the price the rest of the meal really fell short. They only have a few wines to buy by the glass, none of which are Menorcan and the one that was recommended to us was not very nice. The main courses were extremely average, despite choosing two of the fish of the day options. The fried fish came with one small piece of lemon and overall didn’t have much taste. It was just a little underwhelming. Back to the positives, the staff were very friendly and the view is absolutely stunning! A little bit more love and care when it comes to the main courses would justify the price point, but as it stands right now, I felt regretful about starting our trip here. It’s very possible that it was just a case of being there on the wrong day, because all of the other reviews and videos that I saw online absolutely rave about the food.
I am giving this three stars because I don’t want to be overly harsh but it could have been two. (Having written the review I changed it to two)! This is a long one because it was so frustrating how great this hotel could be but isn’t! The hotel itself is lovely, set on top of a cliff a 15 min walk to Platja D’Aro. There is however so much they get wrong and I find it extraordinary they do as it’s all so basic. - Check In was bad. Very short and rude reception staff. The whole process took 10 mins for what I assume were outdated and antiquated systems as it was not because they were showering us with information. We were given no details about the hotel or meal times, services etc. - Water - on Day 1 we were given two medium size bottles of water. Understandably, we thought, we drank them. However when we expected these to be replenished on Day 2 we were told that water was only given on Day 1! We were there for six days. This is the most basic service a hotel should offer especially when you can’t drink local tap water. Don’t worry though you can purchase a small bottle for €2 from their vending machine. I tried this and it did not dispense the water but it did charge me €2. I asked reception and they said nothing they can do. Parking - if you are going to advertise your hotel with parking have enough parking for the amount of guests staying. They don’t. As a result people have to park at all sorts of angles and in spots on the public road leaving them vulnerable to thefts etc. Food - breakfast is limited, not bad but certainly not good. They have maybe 8 tables to sit outside or you are stuck in an old fashioned stuffy dining room where they don’t clear tables to allow turnover of guests. The juice is stale and the coffee is bad. They don’t tell you they also have a dinner buffet service. This is only €28 a head but you get what you pay for. It was not good. Taxis - we ate in town most night because dinner at the hotel was bad. Organising a taxi from the hotel is mental. It takes an hour to come and then you have to pay a €8supplement to the driver (same driver every time so they must have a deal). It costs €17 to go 5 minutes into town. They should tell you it’s a 15 min walk, something we had to find out ourself. Noise - it’s a loud hotel. People leave dogs in their rooms barking. The cleaners start pushing their trophies up and down the hallways loudly from 7:30/8am. The walls are thin! We could hear the couple in the next door room arguing every morning (and making up in the evenings!!). Furniture and fittings - old furniture!! They’d also pushed two beds together for our double bed which is fine but as a result the plug socket was on the bed and so were the light switches every time we moved the mattress would hit the light switch and turn all the lights on. Very annoying. There was only one other socket in the room which made charging anything impossible. The fridge and air con are also both very loud. TV - the tv was one of the first flat screens ever invented I think. It was small and old. No chance of watching anything. Staff - there was one lovely lady who worked the poolside bar and one of the receptionist team was great too. Other than that the staff were rude, unhelpful and basically couldn’t care less about the people staying in the hotel
We were really counting on this place as a one specializing in fish.. and unfortunately we were dissatisfied for multiple reasons: the majority of the dishes was served 3 minutes after we ordered which means it was really precooked and that is not that good for the fish (especially squad or octopus). Secondly after passing 5 minutes asking the server if we could have a bigger fish than 500g as it’s in the part: fish of the day by 100g and him saying “THAT’S THE WEIGHT” we learnt with the bill that actually it was 700g. I will not comment on the salad, just see the pictures, and on the salt/pepper in small paper begs in a place where you pay >20g by plate. Last but not least - I would not say the atmosphere is welcoming and warm here as in other places we visited on the island, it was rather “come and spend your money” but that’s not what makes me put 2 stars only, rather the plates

This spot is old fashioned and out dated. Very noisy from the allow sounds. And hardly any parking close to the hotel. The ask for payment up front. Because after 1 night you want to leave ..
We ordered fresh gallo, but the fish we received was not fresh. It was served on an ugly stainless steel plate, which did not match the restaurant’s prices or reputation at all. The waiter was cold and unfriendly. It was a very disappointing dining experience — we will not be returning.
