I recommend the fritto misto! A real treat. Quick, punctual service and a friendly atmosphere are a plus.
Refined restaurant with fresh and well-prepared food and fish, excellent service and reasonable prices, worth trying even with the family
Viestana is always excellent. We came a few nights ago for a graduation dinner and had a wonderful time. The appetizers, first course, and second course were all made with the freshest fish. Not to mention the delicious and fresh desserts. Compliments to the staff and especially the owner for their hospitality and the excellent quality of the products. Keep up the good work, guys! Well done everyone!!!
Very good typical Italian food. Place full of local people and local food
Excellent food.
I've known this place for many years. It offers traditional Apulian cuisine, high-quality products, and highly qualified staff. It deserves all 5 stars, also for its long-standing reputation for welcoming guests. I always love returning, especially if I'm craving turbot with potatoes. Exceptional Top notch 🔝
Excellent restaurant. The evening was perfect, even though we were quite picky about food. From the cleanliness to the service, the menu was varied and well-presented (not paltry like at other, much more expensive places), the fish was fresh, the typical Apulian desserts were delicious, and the house wine was also pleasant. But what really made the difference was the humility, kindness, and helpfulness of the owner, Andrea, a truly delightful guy. When you meet people so passionate about their work (he chased us with the doggie bag, which we had absentmindedly forgotten about), the experience can only be positive. Congratulations, and keep up the good work! Excellent value too.
Excellent cuisine from the Apulian Gargano school. Fresh fish, well-cooked. So-so service; a couple of orders didn't arrive, and we were asked to choose only three different first courses (for 12 people) because they only had three burners (which has never happened to me). They simply told us that the dishes wouldn't arrive all at once; none of us were in a hurry, but they might have been. Recommended for the food. The organization needs improving.
Had lunch with friends. A short walk from the center. Spacious and clean. Good service: attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. Excellent and plentiful dishes, mostly seafood. Top-quality ingredients. We were offered bruschetta and a glass of wine as a welcome gift. We then had fish soup, shrimp cocktail, fusilli al ferretto with meatballs and cacioricotta, mixed fried fish, mixed grilled fish, and Apulian monkfish. Everything was excellent. We finished with excellent homemade desserts and coffee. We'll be back.
La Viestana is undoubtedly an excellent restaurant for dining, especially seafood. The dishes are delicious and plentiful, and the fish is fresh and you can taste it. The dining room is large and spacious; perhaps a little too dated and retro, while the wait staff didn't always seem "on point." But that doesn't take away from the fact that the fish is truly delicious!
After a morning class, we ended up, partly by chance and partly by luck, in this charming restaurant not far from the Binario 7 theater. The dining room was already packed for lunch upon entry. We were warmly welcomed, and shown to our table. The tablecloths and cutlery were clean. The wine glass and water glass were already there, upside down. We were immediately served soft Apulian-style bread and the water requested by our guests. The menu, in addition to the scheduled dishes arranged in order, also includes the daily menu. The half-menu of the day is well thought out, offering, for a very reasonable price, a first course and a vegetable, or a second course and a vegetable. The aforementioned menu always includes a bottle of water and a 1/4 carafe of wine, either red or white, of a pleasant quality. I personally chose the orecchiette with turnip tops and a fish main course with a side dish. I thoroughly enjoyed both dishes, although I did try the gurnard fillet, which would also have been a delicate and flavorful main course. The service was attentive to our needs, and the price was unsurprising. Definitely worth returning for.
Qaulity food.. Fish was amazing
Service was very good....food was amazingly great
A somewhat disappointing family lunch! We had booked a table for seven at 1:15 PM... encountering traffic, we called to let them know we'd be late for 10-15 minutes and were told they'd wait for us. The response seemed a bit strange to me, but only upon our arrival did I understand why. We arrived, found our relatives already at the table, and sat down. A waiter immediately arrived with the menus, hastily and somewhat rudely urging us to choose quickly since it was late and the kitchen closed at 1:45 PM. We each ordered one dish given our limited time, and the service was very quick. Two orecchiette pastas, neither excellent nor infamous (they lacked a bit of flavor, a shame because Apulian cuisine is usually very tasty), two very good mixed fried dishes, and a good grilled fish and sea bream... for entrees, there was a bruschetta each and a glass of white wine. The desserts weren't everyone's cup of tea, but my nun's tit was good...€6 each. Above-average prices. What can I say? Overall, it was a disappointing lunch, with no welcome, and a rushed service. I don't understand why they didn't tell us when we booked that the kitchen closed so early. We would have chosen differently because we certainly wouldn't have been happy if we'd caused an inconvenience and felt like we were in the way. The restaurant's opening hours show that the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, and we couldn't have imagined the kitchen closing so early.
