We ate a la carte. There was a menu, but we preferred something else. We ordered mussels in vinaigrette, and they were spectacular, followed by cockles. They were very salty, not too salty, but they were fine. Our star dish, a special mention to the Galician octopus, which was delicious. The waiters were very busy with so many people. It was very noisy, so we sat in a more secluded, much better spot. The waiter served us well, a little late at first, but they quickly got on with it, and we were able to leave in time to go somewhere else.
We celebrated my father's birthday...and the food was excellent value for money. The waiters were incredibly professional. They even let us bring our own birthday cake, and the waitress was very attentive with the candles and created a wonderful atmosphere for singing "Happy Birthday." Overall, highly recommended.
First time at the restaurant. The decor is very inn-like. The room is large and has many tables. The waiter who served us was very helpful, accommodating, and attentive. He recommended several dishes, and they were truly a hit. Everything was delicious and in large quantities. I was left wanting more, but nothing else would fit in my stomach. Highly recommended. 💯
A pleasant surprise that we promise to repeat. We were guided by the excellent reviews of the octopus, and it didn't disappoint. We took the opportunity to accompany it with some mussels, and to our surprise, they not only serve Galician bread but also beer and local water. The service is excellent; very attentive to ensure you have everything you need, efficient, and fast. They are very attentive when it comes to celebrating birthdays and making you feel special (the napkins are screen-printed). We returned some time later, and the service is still magnificent.
Traditional Galician food. Love the jars of Albariño and Ribeiro
Ten of us went for dinner and were surprised by how quickly our food arrived. The service was excellent, although there was a short waiter with glasses who seemed annoyed when we asked for things. The octopus and Galician-style ham hock are must-tries, especially when paired with Ribeiro wine or 1906 beer. And of course, any of their homemade desserts are delicious. 100% recommended.
We went for a birthday and they let us bring the cake. Everything was fine. The only downside was that even though we had a reservation, when we went to order set menus they told us they were out, so we ordered from the regular menu. But since they have dishes to share, it made up for it in the end. All in all, everything turned out well.
good food and service. It was quite noisy but it is linked to the atmosphère
Amazing fish, but kind of expensive for the type of restaurant
Octopus cut by a surgeon between two and three millimeters. Forced to include potatoes, otherwise they'd have to serve it on a coffee saucer. Pieces five millimeters long by two millimeters thick. An insult to the customer. Both the octopus and the turbot were bordering on illegal in size. If only the machine lasted longer.
My experience was limited to a beer and tapas. The service was terrible and the tapa was limited to a cold croquette.
I'm giving it fewer stars because there's no other option, as the service from the waiter couldn't have been more appalling. We ordered several dishes to share, plus a grilled vegetable platter, which the menu didn't specify at any point that it included Serrano ham. We assumed it would be just vegetables, as is typical, especially when it's not explicitly stated. When we told the waiter, he practically said he didn't care if someone didn't eat ham and walked off, leaving us hanging without giving us any chance to resolve the situation. We had to call another waiter, whom we then had to tell to remake the dish, but without the ham, as I repeat, it's listed on the menu. But after this experience, you can expect them to prepare the dish without much enthusiasm, so we decided to ask for the bill and, of course, never return. It's a shame that places that have always been successful are letting themselves be led by unprofessional waiters, causing customers to stop coming.
This is the second time my family has eaten here, and the second time I've tried to explain to the waiter that I have specific allergies. He doesn't listen and brings things however he pleases. Of course, I have to order the same thing again, this time furious. The chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. The croquettes are made of mashed potatoes. The octopus is so thin, it's more potato than octopus. We won't be back. I don't recommend it for people with any kind of allergy because they don't listen. Twice the waiter turned his back on us mid-sentence. We're never coming back!
