Ordered seven burgers and seven fries because my husband spilled his food when we went to Vaughns, so he was too embarrassed to stay and get our kids to-go food. I mean, that man flopped his dang plate so hard, shrimp and ketchup went all over him. He still has ketchup on his forehead but Shrimp Boy will find out eventually when he looks in the mirror. Anyway, kids loved the burgers and fries, five stars.

Employees are very polite and are good at making sure your order is correct. Service is great and place is usually busy all day, everyday.

This is one of the best run Sonic's in the nation. They provide consistent service and food with a great staff that is enthusiastic and friendly. Plus, they offer a sand volleyball court as well as a great playground for the kids. Our family loves this place and stops whenever we're in Mt. Vernon!

Prompt service, I've tried different Sonics but this one takes the cake. I love their sand volleyball field. The food is always delicious and we haven't had any problems with service or orders.

Usually the food is fairly good but most times there's something that isn't how I ordered it. I try to get a screen that shows your order and watch to make sure it is correct. Tonight was a bad night for hamburgers. The meat tasted old and the bacon cheeseburger didn't have any vegetables on it. We were very disappointed with our meal. At least the milkshake and Oreo Blast is perfect.

This Sonic has by far the best service I have ever experienced at any Sonic. The carhops are very quick and polite. Our wait time is never over 10 minutes for food which is amazing considering how busy they are when we stop by. Our order is never wrong and they also do a great job.

I drive from Sulphur Springs to this location because I can always count on the food too taste fresh and my order to be correct. Today was no different. Great work!

Over the last few months with kids in soccer and now JV color guard I've found myself going to this sonic ALOT lately and I have literally nothing bad to say about it. I'd post a picture of the soft pretzel twist I get almost every time but I eat them in like 2 min their so good. I don't know if I always just show up at a good time or not but no matter how much we order it's always ready in like 5 min. I feel like I remember this place not being that great a few years ago which is why I hadnt been in so long but after these last few visits I remember why this place is so popular. Good job up there guy's.

I dont think ive ever had a bad experience here, my food has always been cooked right and been fresh. I drive here rather than sulphur springs cause of the food and service.

The most Rock-N family Sonic stop ever! Check out the wonderful fenced playground and volleyball court, you can order from it too! Great for families with big and small kids!

Been to Sonic before and this one is always busy but quick! Our orders have been quick, accurate and hot so far!!

This experience overall was good. Fast, efficient service. However, it was overly greasy and the sandwiches fell apart.

One of the best Sonic choices in the East Texas area. Service is always fast prompt and courteous. However, I would have given five stars but receipts and side orders are sometimes not given to you in your bag. Just be sure to check your order before you go.

For some reason I must ask for every Sonic to Double Cook the corn dog and hot dogs. I have received sill cold dogs on both. The employees at all the Sonics do not mind and double cook when I request it but why is it that I must ask. Sonic is a great place for fast food anywhere you see them. So much better than most other fast burger places.

I ordered mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and got a LOT of ranch. I ordered a little salt and extra pepper. I got a handful of salt and NO pepper. The tea is good and they were nice, but they need to be more careful in prepping orders.

Went for a lunch and play time with the kiddos. Playground was clean and well maintained. Service was relatively quick but forgot condiments

Ordered prem beef hot dog. With relish etc . Got chilli cheese dog . Nice carhop said they would gladly fix... But I was so hungry. Ate was good. We all make mistakes. I probably should have paid more attn when they asked if that was right when ordered.

It's a hit or miss at this sonic. Some days they are quick and some days they are slow. Depending on who's making your burger depends on if everything slides out on the first bite or not. Too much sauce is always a problem.

I came from Phoenix AZ and this sonic is alot better than the ones from there. They usually add extra cherries in the cherry limeade and even tho the chicken slinger looks ugly it tastes actually good lol

Decent service at an expensive fast food car hop. Good but not worth the money it costs to really eat there. U can go somewhere with real food for the price u pay.

So last night we agreed on sonic for dinner and i was paying for mine and my boyfriend and 2 grandchildren so she go and give them my order and then pays them with my credit card and they drink her every thing that they had put on the ticket. So in ordering me a foot long coneymeal, with a med dr.pepper, and a order of cheesey tots , she returned to and the person who was taken my order apparently didn't hear her saying that she wanted the meal with the dr. Pepper and cheese tots. I didn't get charged for them all i got was the footlong coney. Apparently the manager is needing to step up there game there.

We waited to long for our food and pretty sure we were forgotten about cause I had to call them on the red button 3 times and they still forgot part of the order felt bad for the only girl serving in and out all by herself

Sonic is and has always been adequate. To be fair, I am not a fast food diner but my daughter is.

This Sonic just does not compare to the Sonic in town. The staff is not as friendly and they are not as concerned with getting your order correct like napkins, salt, correct sauces, etc. Learn from your competitors...you could improve a lot from them!

We had a mobile order that took almost 30 min to get. Food was warm, not hot, but we didn't say anything because it would have taken even longer and we were starving!

Many days they would receive a 4 or 5 star review because the food tastes fresh...their sodas aren't usually balanced well though (carbonated water to syrup ratio) and recently we've had a heck of a time getting them to understand our order. The people that work there are really nice!

I eat at sonic alot, and in fact I eat here 3-4 times a month on average. Generally the food I'd fast and good, that's why my meal yesterday surprised me. I ordered the Jr burrito, which I have had dozens of times. It's just like the regular ones just not as much different things in them. I ordered sausage and egg. When it came out I was surprised by the weight of the bag, it didn't feel heavy enough. I left to head to my next stop and when I pulled it out I found this Itty bitty burrito, it was like 2" long! And pretty much nothing but tortilla, very little egg and sausage. I was too far away to go back but seriously, this shouldn't happen, someone wrapped this up and thought it was OK to serve to a customer

I have eaten at this Sonic several times in the past and the food has always been good. However, my last two visits here, the food has not been very well prepared. My burger was not hot, tepid at best and my fries were soggy.

We ordered ahead. Then when we got to the Sonic I let them know we were there. We waited and waited. The people who came after us ordered and got their food and we still did not have ours. I hit the button again and they had lost it between my first announcement and second. They took the bag back in because the oil had soaked through the bag. It was warm but not hot when we got our order. Not good at all. Cold onion rings are nasty.

We pulled up to a menu in one of there many empty parking spots, decided on our order and pushed the red button. I started watching the drive thru lane rolling along and realized it had been nearly 10 minutes and no one had even acknowledged we were there. So i decided to find somewhere else to eat. So if your looking at sonic DRIVE IN in Mt Vernon Tx. Make sure you have plenty of time or take the drive thru

Food is going downhill lately. Dbl 1/4 lb cheeseburger and the cheese was cold on it. I paid an extra dollar for not even 1 whole slice of bacon added to it. The store tots were warm but not fresh. For $10 I could have went to the bbq places across the highway!

I ordered on the app. My DIL picked up our order as usual. She got home, & it wasn't our order. I called, & they apologized & told me to come get the correct order. I was concerned bc the burgers would have been ready 20+ minutes ago & was told that they were still sitting under the warmer. I requested a fresh burger for me due to GI problems & food coming back up if it's sat under the warmer for too long. He agreed to give me a fresh one when my DIL got there. That didn't happen. All burgers were equally cold when she got home (it's only 5 minutes away).

You may or nay not get a napkin. They do want to charge for everything. One manager may say one thing and another, there is something different. Check order before leaving. Once I came, I got a burger with no meat. Sometimes, 8 pieces of lettuce drowned in mayo. Couldn't eat the burger at all.

stopped in on way home tonight. I placed an order on the app in the stall (I do this to use my rewards) at 8:10pm for 2 Coney dogs, chili cheese tots, and 2 drinks. After about 15 minutes I noticed that my order status on the menu sign was gone and still no food. There were cars that pulled up after me and in drive thru that had already received their orders and left. I waited another 5 minutes then pressed the red button again and asked about my order. The guy that answered asked me the order name and the replied, "oh it's sitting over here, we will get it out to you". They did bring it out after that, and the young lady was nice. I reached into the bag ad checked the temp of the food and the dogs were cold, the chili on the tots was still warm. it took me about 8 minutes to get home, at which time I sat down to eat and the dogs were ice cold inside almost like they were just thawed out. The chili was the only warm part of the whole meal. I'm not sure what has changed, but this is not the first time over the past couple of weeks I have stopped on the way home and had to wait more than 15 minutes for a single meal.

Seems like they can NEVER get the food right. Tonight ordered a garlic butter burger with NO onions. What I got was an onion burger with NO garlic butter sauce. When I order shakes and request extra choc or Oreos I’m charged for those but either get NONE or very little. This is frustrating. The amount of money spent on 1 meal going out and they can’t get stuff right.

My chicken tenders didn't have any meat they were dried out and very hard but onion rings were the bomb. Lets fix that chicken please..

The fries were so salty 4 people couldn't eat them. The coney was good after I scraped about 2 tablespoons of mustard off of it.

As usual nothing fresh asked if it was was told yes it was still heat lamp junk it was abysmal people wonder why I give terrible reviews here's why my meal was almost $16 I can go to the Texas Roadhouse and eat from the same price and guaranteed to get quality food fast food chains have fallen so far and yet charge the same price is a good restaurant but can't even serve decent food my drink was supposed to have been a Powerade I got what I can only explain as probably an ocean water my large order of cheddar peppers one was hot and fresh the rest was heat lamp garbage the french fries that were supposed to be fresh where heat lamp fries that had been refried until management pulls their head out of their fourth point of contact or franchise owner actually pays attention to the quality nothing will change and that is extremely sad

Multiple friends have gotten good poisoning from here. The last time I went I was shorted a wing and they were lukewarm. I tossed them because I wasn't even sure they were cooked.

This place is a joke! I ordered a tea and a shake and waited for 25 minutes and still did not receive my order.I called them again that I’m in stall 10 then they told me they delivered it.I said no you didn’t not to me you didn’t.The guy said okay I will bring it out.Well the car hop took my order out and gave it to another car beside me and all they ordered was food.Lmao…Those kids have no idea what’s going on.So I left with no order.

I asked for a chicken sandwich with lettuce and Mayo only. They put cheese and it and my cheese tots had no cheese. I called and they said they would fix my order so I drove back and they still put cheese on my sandwich…finally got it right the third time. It hasn’t always been this bad but apparently their service is not great anymore

I ordered a chili cheese dog and there is more cheese than chili. Not to mention there is barely anything on it! My fries are cold and are dripping with grease. The only reason I’m posting this review is because stuff like this happens EVERY TIME I go there. I really wish they would do better. All I hear are negative things about this place from people. It’s sad to see that the reputation is going down the drain.

I just love it when you order 2 bacon double cheeseburgers. And it doesn't come with bacon!! Thanks alot. And you get paid what?? 15 an hour to mess up orders. Also your screen didn't work. It was black. But luckily I put my card in and it worked. Took my money and messed my order up. Thanks!!

I travel through her quite frequently but this was the worse experience I have had at any Sonic in a long time!! Yes I got my food quick, but I would rather have fresh food not this mornings chicken slinger! The bun was burnt and hard and the chicken looked and tasted like it had been cooked for awhile!! I threw most of the bun out the window!!

Terrible Customer Service. Very rude. Didn't bring us correct stuff. Then acted like it was end of world to bring ranch for cheesesticks we ordered. Brought us 10 ranch and said is there anything else before we leave this time. In a very rude tone. Won't be back!

In drive thru right now trying to pick up some food for a family member and the person expediting the window has a really poor attitude and has been rude throughout the entire transaction. So much so that a young man ended up taking over the transaction. Im not really sure what we did to be accosted. The girl had trouble hearing us so we had to speak at a greater volume to hear us and it seemed as if she had us repeat ourselves intentionally just to continue being rude. I don't want any refunds or free gifts etc but maybe train the people on the window to have better manners? I could understand how she may have thought we were being aggressive when giving our order but we were simply trying to be heard since the girl had such trouble hearing us in the first place. We also asked that our food be cooked fresh because the food has been old when we come on lately. We're townie and enjoy coming through but maybe we will start going else where if we are going to get old food and unpleasant attitudes. This occurred around 2:10 pm after looking at the receipt the carhops name is Nat.

Was asked 3 times if we would like condiments, just not to recieve them. Fries were cold and hard. Corndog was very cold in the middle. Mozzarella sticks were cold too. Sucks because sonic is one of my favorites, maybe just not my local Mt.Vernon one anymor I guess.

Apparently they clean the grill (we could see them through the windows) and refuse to answer the pushed button 30 minutes before close. I sat over 15 minutes at a terminal after pushing the button and they never answered.

Ordered one medium blue coconut slush. Took forever an It showed on the screen It was coming out but no one showed so I pushed the button an said hey I ordered a slush AND Its been forever. Hayden said its only been four minutes rudely so I said well Sense your going to take four minutes on my drink an not brings It out we aré just Going to leave. So we Left. This Sonic Is stupid when It comes to getting orders on Time, correctly, AND with hospitality. Will never come back. I rather go to McDonalds. Worst part there was no More than five customers on the lot.

We went to this Sonic earlier today and ordered some stuff, but they forgot my sandwich and the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks. Thirty minutes later, they never came with any of it. We had to get a refund. We were very disappointed. Usually, Sonics are pretty fast and provide fast service. It's sad to see one fall to such low standards.
