Superb food and warm service. Also, for the quality this may be the best value in town. Only suggestion is they improve the lighting. It’s not as pleasant dining when everyone looks like a corpse.

A hidden gem!! We had an amazing dinner here. Service could not have been better and the food was exceptional- the fondue is a MUST! Serves 4 perfectly as an appetizer. The setting is perfect for a more cozy, intimate vibe. It’s newer so it’s not super popular yet, but that made for a great evening that didnt feel over crowded and our server was very attentive. I don’t think we needed a reservation, but I’d expect that to change soon because this place is great! It is a little tricky to find- but worth it!! Head to the Lumiere Hotel and take the elevator to the 4th floor. You will see signs pointing you to the restaurant and there’s a friendly concierge to help you as well.

Absolutely one the newest and best restaurants in all of Telluride. Acquaint little neighborhood gem. Best prices, service, and food anywhere and either the town or the village. Cocktails are excellent, appetizers and entrées are delicious and the prices cannot be beat! We need this place to stay in business. Book Table before you end up having to wait days., it’s bound to happen!!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Mountain Village. The alpine decor reminds me of the Italian Dolomites. Perfect for a romantic dinner. The staff is extremely professional and friendly and the food was outstanding all the way. Bre, the bartender, is extremely knowledgeable and eager to cater to your specific tastes. Prices are very reasonable for an all around excellent meal.

Dunton Kitchen in Telluride is an absolute gem. Coming from New Orleans, where we take food seriously, I can confidently say this place delivers on every level. The beef dish was nothing short of phenomenal—cooked to perfection, fork-tender, and so juicy you could cut it with a butter knife. They’ll work with you to figure out exactly what you like, mixing and matching their own recipes until they land on the perfect cocktail for your taste. It’s not just one dessert—it’s a collection of indulgent treats all packed into one dish. It’s rich, decadent, and made for sharing (though you might not want to). I've been visiting Telluride for over 20 years, and I can confidently say that Dunton Kitchen is home to some of the best food we've ever had during our annual trips. From start to finish, our dining experience was exceptional, and it has officially become our new favorite restaurant in town. Located inside the Lumière Hotel, Dunton Kitchen offers an outstanding culinary experience with a menu that showcases high-quality ingredients, creative dishes, and impeccable execution. Every aspect of our meal—from the handcrafted cocktails to the beautifully prepared starters, mains, and desserts—was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the chestnut soup, which was incredibly rich, flavorful, and unique. It was so memorable that we were still talking about it on our walk home. The freshly baked bread and crisp, vibrant salads were also standouts, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. For our entrées, my cousin ordered the beef dish and declared she was in "food heaven"—the meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. I opted for the risotto, which had a wonderfully creamy texture and balanced flavors. Every detail, from the warm and inviting atmosphere to the attentive service, made this an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a longtime Telluride visitor or a first-time guest, Dunton Kitchen is a must-visit. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Worst experience ~ very unfriendly staff~ not welcoming atmosphere ~ impersonal staff , rude ~ we walked in to an empty restaurant for dinner and the 2 Staff personnel sitting at the bar did not even acknowledge us. We were like ~ hello are you open ? Staff was terrible ~ we ate dinner Friday August 15, 2025 ~ thankfully food was good ~ never would recommend
