Ambience is extraordinary, both the outside and the inside. I wish I could give more than five stars for that. Kudos to the designers. The food was also delicious, except that the prices were slightly on the higher side. I would strongly recommend the dessert Coconut Caramel Coffee Flan. Simply phenomenal! Verdict: If you're willing to spend a bit more than what you would in a regular fine-dining restaurant in Bengaluru, I absolutely recommend it.

Bougie atmosphere, wide variety of vegan items. All the items pictured (except dessert) are vegan!

Never been here for their regular fare, but since their Sunday breakfast has been making a lot of noise, thought we'd randomly check it out. The outdoor space is gorgeous, the service staff great looking, friendly and efficient. We ordered a salmon benedict, crab omlet, pandan toast, matcha latte and coffee and everything was yummy. My benedict was wee on the slimmer side of things and I felt hungry after polishing it off, thankfully the other selections were more substantial. The hollandaise with the tomyum flavour was perfect. The omlette and pandan toast was good as well and full of flavour I loved the attention to detail and even the savoury cookie served with the coffee was so darn good. We asked for and got some extras Worth the splurge! I will surely want to come by and try their drinks/dinner fare

Easily one of the best breakfast spots in Bangalore. We stopped by after a morning walk in Cubbon Park and found the place buzzing but not overcrowded. The coffee was excellent, and the food menu was both creative and satisfying. We tried the Eggs Benedict with a surprising (and delicious) Tom Yum twist in the Hollandaise, a generously filled crab omelet, and the standout Pandan Custard French Toast—which was absolutely divine. Price-wise, it’s on par with Lavonne, but the ambiance here is warmer and more inviting. A definite must-visit for breakfast lovers in Bangalore.

Must be one of Bengaluru’s best dining experiences. After our first visit, we returned just two nights later. The service was excellent—Mr. Suresh and Ms. Dedbyari gave us great recommendations and were very attentive throughout both evenings. On our second visit, Ms. Anisha was at the bar and stopped by our table to explain some of the drinks we had and chat with us. The cocktails were amazing! On par with some of the best ones I’d find in Vienna. I will definitely return whenever I’m back in Bengaluru!

Went here for sunday brunch. Romie was very helpful and suggested the khao soi chicken, and I also had the eggs benedict. Thoroughly recommend both dishes, the iced americano was nice too. Really nice atmosphere despite the large number of people here.

The muro is completely plastic free. The straw is made up with coconut tree leaf, no tissues, instead of tissues they are providing reusable napkin. The friendly staff and the ambience stole my heart. Live music and live bar gives a exotic feeling. Additionally they provide some munchies until we order food. Every food describes the culinary excellence.

"Muro is a hidden gem on Museum Street, Bangalore! The vibes are amazing, and the food is top-notch. The crab salad on sago crackers is a MUST-TRY! Our server, Livingstar (yes, that's his real name!), was the star of the show. He had fantastic recommendations and gave us a great rundown of the menu. Highly recommend Muro for a great dining experience!" 5/5 stars!

Muro is an elegant cocktail bar where every detail, from the architecture and furnishing to the plating of each dish, feels thoughtfully curated into a seamless visual harmony. The cocktails here are an art form themselves. Eat Your Art Out arrived with a literal artwork atop the drink, blending beauty with flavour. Sweet Chin Music stood out with its rich yet playful layers, topped with a sweet biscuit that offered a delightful contrast. Every sip and bite felt intentional, crafted with care. Muro’s dishes impressed just as much. The Beef with Black Pepper Sauce redefined simplicity, with tender, juicy slices that melted effortlessly on the tongue, while the fine black pepper sauce wrapped everything together in a smooth, seductive finish. The Truffle Pork Belly, served with soft mantou buns, converted me into a truffle lover on the spot. It was subtle, balanced, and impossibly delicious. Thoughtful design, attentive service, and a menu that speaks to both craft and soul. Muro leaves a lasting impression and it’s an experience I can’t wait to return to. 11/10 highly recommend.

Dining at Muro felt like a truly personalized and nurturing experience. The level of care they provided went above and beyond—whether it was customizing dishes to suit our tastes or checking in to ensure everything was perfect without being intrusive. The ambiance was soothing and thoughtful, designed to create a space where you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. The food was exceptional—not only delicious but prepared with an evident focus on quality and freshness. Each dish felt like it was crafted with care, flavor and overall well-being. This is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where you feel valued, cared for, and truly looked after. Special thanks to Mr Ankit & his entire team, I am allergic to Gluten, he made us feel special, paying close attention to our dietary needs preferences. If you're looking for a dining experience that leaves you feeling nourished in every way, Muro is the spot!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a fantastic experience at Muro Cocktail Bar! The ambiance is absolutely amazing – stylish yet cozy, perfect for a night out with friends or even a relaxed evening. The cocktails were beautifully crafted, with great balance and unique flavors, and the bar bites complemented them perfectly. A special mention to John, our server, who made the evening even better with his warm and attentive service. He was friendly, quick with recommendations, and ensured we had a great time. Definitely one of the best spots in Bengaluru for cocktails, food, and a lively vibe. Can’t wait to visit again! 🍸✨

Pros: 1. Cocktail heaven as they are awesome varieties. The Tequila and Mezcal iterations are simply superb, would recommend the Salida Del Sol, Tommy's Margarita and Heat of the Moment. 2. The starters and dimsums are superb, fresh, piping hot and loaded on flavour. 3. Very attentive and quick service. 4. Extremely aesthetic lighting and soothing decor. Cons: 1. Rum Cocktails are a bit scarce, a few more varieties might help. 2. Music ambient volume could be a bit less, as it's hard to hear each other speak.

Visited Muro with my dear friend, and we're humbled by the hospitality offered by Suresh and Janeesh. The food on the other hand was simply incredible! Loved the Thai Yellow Crab Curry and Crispy Duck Salad the most. Some of the signature drinks recommended by to us was different, unique, and refreshing (something that's quite hard to find). Can't wait to visit again ✨

This place is great for groups as well as couples. Our server recommended the best items to try based on our preference. Amazingly tasty food. The fried fish was the highlight of the dinner. Cocktail menu has some delightful options too. Only problem is probably the entry for parking. Since it's on museum cross road, expect a little bit of a traffic jam entering the parking lot for valet.

We absolutely loved the ambience and food here. We tried the crab prawn dimsum, lamb in lungyum sauce and crispy prawn cheung fun with some cocktails. Each of the items were absolutely amazing. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary here and they really helped us make it special with a specially curated dessert. Our server Saurav really took care of us and was extremely prompt with his service. Big thank you to the entire staff for helping us make this night absolutely perfect

Had an amazing meal at Muro! The ambience was warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive, and the service was smooth. Pork Skewers: Absolutely delicious – juicy, smoky, and perfectly grilled. Easily a 10/10. Chicken Satay: Tender and rich in flavor, with a great peanut sauce. Solid 9/10. Red Thai Chicken Curry with Rice: Creamy, aromatic, and satisfying - 8/10. Kung Pao Chicken: Good, 7/10.

We went to have valentine dinner with my friend. From the beginning it was wow, Rose took us to our seats, then all the servers here are specially trained or something, so happy and persuasive to have a beverages. Great of Ankit to come and check on us. Good was so unique and very delicious, we loved the background music, crowd. Top notch.

What a fantastic place. The cocktails were outstanding, yummy and potent. The food is asian and very well made. Super tasty. A bit pricey but the experience more than makes up for it. A superb brunch place! Walking distance from church street, yet feels like an oasis of greenery.

Wonderful experience at Muro! Our first time here and we sat upstairs at the cocktail bar area. Tried the Mango Sticky rice cocktail which was nice and the Miami Vice which I loved and would recommend. The drinks were served by Livingstar who was excellent with his recommendations and explanations on the drinks. The food was great too, served by Khupu who was also excellent and welcoming. Great overall experience at Muro. Will recommend to friends.

Breakfast was excellent, the ambiente is stunning, outside as well as inside and the service was also great, friendly and fast. Especially their coffee variations and their omelette are highly recommendable

N

Muro is marketed to be an upscale cocktail bar, and in that regard it doesn't disappoint. Suitable for dates, small get togethers, corporate meetings..it has something for everyone. Food portion sizes were on the smaller side and not exactly value for money. Taste and texture of their bar bites were on point, would be hard pressed to find better. Cocktail wise, there was a massive menu to select from and were priced conservatively compared to other cocktail bars. The staff are very friendly and reliable. Definitely puts a hole in the pocket overall but can you really put a price tag on an experience such as this? Came to 10k for 3 people(8k post the District offer) with atleast 2 cocktails a piece and ample food.

Brilliant place for breakfast and some pan asian food & cocktails Worth the money

A

Creative pan Asia. Food and drink are both nice and the price is literally cheaper than expected. We 5 people non veg, order from soup, dim sum to main course. Almost everything good. Only the egg isn’t fresh for the whiskey sour I ordered. Can improve a bit. Valet parking available, plus point for dining in city center. Will definitely visit again!

One of the good places to hangout with friends. Music noise is medium which doesn’t hinder conversations. The interiors is absorbing and food is good.

A
Ankita Malani

The food here was really good. Specially the Singapore crispy tofu! The service was a little slow but, the ambience was really good. If you're looking for good asian food, this place should definitely on your list! We also tried the vegan bao, it was okay. If the filling in the bao would have been a bit more then that would have made it perfect! Fried rice n Black pepper sauce was a combination recommended by the staff n it was really good. The portion size of any dish is enough for one or 2 people only.

Recently explored the Breakfast club on Sunday and it was amazing! The Croissant, the Kalita Coffee, the Khao Soi were a delight to have for a vegetarian! My friends ordered some prawn dumplings and were quite happy too. Their chicken Bao also which they ordered was good. The vibe was that of a tropical forest with greens all around and misty weather. Must must try and it’s worth the wake up early on Sunday. Their breakfast is from 9-12 in the morning.

S
Subham Borah

The cocktails are extremely nice. Difficult to find good whiskey-based cocktails but they are one of the few ones who offer quite a few options. Particularly enjoyed the one called “Eat your Art Out”. Never imagined someone thought “let’s make Laphroig even more peaty than what it is…”. But glad they did and this cocktail is a must have for peaty whiskey lovers.

Muro is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. John went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing dining experience—his politeness, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor made all the difference. The food? Simply spectacular! Every dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. Whether you’re looking for a cozy dinner or a special night out, Muro is the place to be. Highly recommend!

I am a very picky and poor eater. This is the first place I wished I had a capacity to eat more! I had the Fruit toast and a Muro Frappe, perfect portion for me. Excellent sourdough bread, so soft and fresh. The taste of fresh fruit, and whipped cream that was just faintly sweetened! My companions had Eggs Benedict (which was eaten, every bite, with relish! I tasted a bit of the wilted greens - I really appreciated the taste)), Avocado and eggs on sourdough (which I tasted, loved it!) Also ordered were: French Toast with Pandan custard and Char Sui Chicken Bao. The former was out of the world (yes, I tasted it) and the latter was much appreciated. Each dish was delivered warm/hot and beautifully presented! Service with a smile too! Cannot wait to come back.

Relaxing and pleasant ambience, great service and good food. Eat Your Art Out, Prawns in Pumpkin sauce and Cheung Fun (Assorted Mushrooms) were the stand out dishes for us. Reverse Breakfast and Cantonese chicken puff were good, whereas Espresso Martini and Turnip cake were average. The desserts could have been better though. Thank you,Mr Jagar for your suggestions!

I have gone to Muro 3 times already and I am absolutely in love with the place . Everytime I am here I have tried different dishes and everytime it amuses me . Dimsums are the best and thier rice and noodle dishes ar to die for . Its suitable for all kind of gathering be it offices lunches to family get together and to a cost dinner date.

An ambience that totally wows you? That’s Muro in a nutshell. The moment you step in, you're welcomed into a beautifully designed space — dim lighting, just the right music levels, and an effortlessly elegant vibe that sets the tone for a relaxed, intimate evening. What truly sets Muro apart is the top-tier service. The staff are not only courteous but go the extra mile to explain how to enjoy their signature cocktails, adding a lovely personal touch that elevates the experience. Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal. Curated to suit the Indian palate without losing authenticity, every dish we tried was spot-on: ✅ Lotus Stem Starter – Crunchy, flavorful, and addictively good ✅ Pumpkin Sauce Prawns – Unique, rich, and beautifully balanced ✅ Poached Chicken & Prawn Dumplings – Delicate and melt-in-the-mouth ✅ Chicken Bao – Soft, juicy, and full of flavor While portion sizes lean toward the smaller side, the quality and presentation more than make up for it. The humidifying sprays at the beginning were a delightful surprise — refreshing and immersive. 📍 Location: Right on Church Street 🚗 Parking: Valet available — a huge plus in this busy area Verdict: ✨ Stunning ambience 🍸 Imaginative cocktails 🥢 Delectable Pan-Asian flavors 🎉 Perfect for date nights, special occasions, or casual indulgence Would we return? Without a doubt. Muro hits all the right notes — and then some.

The ambience is great, its quite and there's subtle music in the background. They have separate drinking section in the first floor. In ground floor alcohol is not allowed, which is good in a way. Non-veg food was very good and totally worth it.

V
Varun Alagar

Had a lovely breakfast here. The ambience was amazing. Started out with a few humidifying sprays but eventually it got too much and we had request it to be turned off. Very nice location. The staff were very helpful and their service was great. Would definitely go back for the amazing food. My favourite was the poached chicken and prawn dumpling. Everything else was great except for the pork neck danish which wasn't the best here. We booked a table in advance but was relatively free on a Saturday morning with over 60% tables empty. Valet parking is there and quite useful in this tight street.

Loved the ambience and the quality of their small plates (got some chicken dim sum and a shrimp plate) and drinks (martini flight was superb) were outstanding. The flan dessert, however, was quite sub par - tasted more like cheesecake. Service speed could be better - it started good but started to slow down as it got busier. No reservations were needed - we went at 7 pm on Saturday. It was a great evening for me and my wife

After long a restaurant that can be truly called fine dine in all aspects. From the restaurant design & ambience; to the good & the superlative service. I took a bit long to reach here but so totally worth the delay. The cocktails were different & yum I had the Honey Bees & would for sure order it again Then the starters Each dimsum, bao & chat Sui were yum The best starter however was the pommelo salad. I could have bowls of it. Fresh, crunchy. Zingy All at once Then for mains the crab fried rice just aced it. Also a nice seafood noodle and a prawn curry. The desserts - awesome & unique. We had the mango rice pudding and Honey-n-Cream Waiting to visit again.

Wanted to check out the place from a long time and it quite literally lived up to it. The atmosphere is 11/10. Service was great! Food was amazing. The satay is a must try. Pomelo salad - amazing Pina colada - amazing Chicken Satay - Must try Tom yum fried rice (seafood) - Good but have had better ones. Location of the place is beautiful from inside and outside. Went here for a birthday lunch and it felt truly special. The food here is insane!! The ambience and the service really makes this place special even during afternoons. The Kra Pao Chicken under Bar Bites is a must must try and the Spicy Vegetable Fried Rice is to die for. The Crispy Pork was not something that I enjoyed much. Do try their range of Dim Sums and Stir Fries. Overall highly recommended

Muro—a delightful experience. Muro is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Bangalore. We ordered the pepper beef, Kung Pao chicken, lotus stems, truffle pork with baos, chicken dimsums, and kung pao chicken with rice—all of which were a rock-solid 10/10. My taste buds are still writing thank-you notes. The drinks were fantastic. I particularly loved the Ear Your Art Out—it was a 15/10, the kind of cocktail that makes you seriously consider moving in next door. I would recommend this place for the ambience, food, and cocktails. Worth the money, worth the time, worth cancelling your other plans. Virendra took great care of us to ensure we were happy customers—Thank you Virendra Thank you, Muro, for a delectable experience (and for proving that calories consumed here are worth it)!

Muro on Church Street is the kind of place that instantly draws you in with its modern yet cozy ambience—warm lights, chic décor, and an energy that balances between buzzy evenings and laid-back comfort. The vibe sets the tone for indulging in some seriously crafted food and drinks. I started at the bar with a beautifully done bourbon-based Irish Whiskey cocktail, smooth and balanced, paired perfectly with the lively atmosphere. For food, the Crab and Prawn Dim-sums stood out with their delicate wrappers and rich umami filling, while the Poached Vegetable Dumplings were light and clean—a great vegetarian counterpart. The Crispy Prawn and Assorted Mushroom Cheung-Fun was indulgent, silky on the outside with a lovely crunch inside. The skewers—both Vegetable Satay and Chicken Satay—brought smoky, char-grilled flavors with the right punch of seasoning, while the soy-based Mock Meat Bao was a fun twist that nailed the texture and bite. To finish, both the Vegetable and Chicken Pad Thai delivered that perfect balance of tangy, nutty, and slightly sweet notes, tying the whole spread together. Overall, Muro is the kind of spot that works just as well for a lively evening with friends as it does for a more relaxed culinary experience. Great drinks, eclectic food, and a vibe that makes you want to come back.

S
Spruha Pattnaik

Their Crispy Prawn Cheung Fun is amongst the best ever! The wood and warm light ambience with the greenery outdoors, the food menu, the fancy beverages - all give you a very nice fine dine experience. The service could be a tad better by offering to change plates between courses and serving the food. But the food quality is top notch and makes up for the bucks.

Every time I am in banglore I bring my friends here. I love all the cocktails I have had, especially their take on the pina colada with the taro foam, very unassuming and unexpected combo+flavour. The dumplings and pork skewers in peanut sauce is also good.

Mahima Ponnappan

The ambience is minimal, modern, and tastefully done—perfect for a relaxed meal or a quiet catch-up. The food was well prepared, balanced in flavours, and thoughtfully plated without trying too hard. What really stood out was the staff—super polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations and portion sizes, which made the experience even better. Service felt warm and unhurried. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for good food, calm vibes, and gracious service. Would definitely visit again.

The ambience is lovely, with very comfy sitting areas inside and outside. Lots of greenery around which adds to the vibes of the place. The food was sublime. We ordered the poached dumplings in a pepper sauce, Singapore crispy tofu and green curry. All were excellent. The mango pudding/cheesecake didn't live upto it's description. The service was tad off. The person who took our order was very disconnected. The other staff was fine.

Soumya

Had brunch on a sunny day. The outdoors set up was still cool and calm in the chaos of church street. The Kung Pao Chicken was flavourful and comforting. The gravy that really brought the dish together. The Salmon Salad was refreshing and thoughtfully served. The bowl-within-a-bowl with ice kept the salad cool throughout, making every bite feel crisp and clean. So satisfying! Silk Route - Chocolate cheesecake with warm chocolate foam, chocolate ice cream, and a hint of whiskey gel. I think that says everything. So rich. Soul food ♡

Cocktails during the week, but.... Weekend breakfasts are insanely good!!! Cool, modern, almost colonial vibe and my god - the coffees are all too good to be true. My recommendation is the Honey or Thai coconut one! Best spot in Bangalore if you ask me

This is my third visit and the most elaborate one. I have always had a fun time here. This new years, I went for breakfast and stayed till lunch. The place has immaculate vibes, perfect for date, meeting with friends and family or even alone. I mean I have started loving this place too much. We visited here with our friends for new years and had the most delectable food experience we have had in a while. This was such a fresh and fabulous start to 2026, I must say. We ordered multiple breakfast items like Pandan french toast, cheung fun, scrambled egg toast, vietnamese coffee, cappucino etc. the chicken danish that we ordered wasnt fresh, we could tell but then we split it into four and all of us took a bite so we didnt return it. Other than this one dish, all other dishes were fabulous. We stayed for conversations and it was lunch time and ordered some chicken dimsums, pork bao, chicken penang curry as well. The dishes were delectable. This is one place you can keep going to for the great food and vibes that it provides. Kudos to everyone.

Muro is a standout spot in central Bengaluru for anyone looking to enjoy creative Asian cuisine, crafted cocktails, and a stylish yet relaxed ambience. As soon as you walk in, the sophisticated décor, warm lighting, and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating create a vibe that’s both lively and comfortable — perfect for date nights, dinners with friends, or special occasions. The ambience and service are consistently impressive, with welcoming staff who make you feel right at home throughout the meal. The menu delivers a mix of Thai and Pan-Asian flavours with thoughtful presentation. Dishes like dim sum, turnip cake, and desserts such as Silk Route are popular picks, and many guests enjoy pairing them with refreshing cocktails from the bar. While portions may feel slightly on the smaller side and prices are a bit on the higher end, the overall experience — from flavourful food to expertly crafted drinks — makes it worthwhile. Service stands out as a highlight, with attentive and friendly staff adding to the overall enjoyment. Whether it’s celebrating a birthday, unwinding over drinks, or savouring thoughtfully prepared dishes, Muro balances sophistication with warmth. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone seeking a memorable evening with good food, inventive drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere in the heart of the city.

This happens to be a Pan Asian restaurant which opens even for sumptuous breakfast of different kind as well. The main point of attraction is their breakfast menu where the kind of dishes are not really run of the mill type. Kra Pao Puff, Enoki Omelette, Bao Char Siu, Poached Peking are indeed yummy Pan Asian breakfast dishes which are best enjoyed with Iced Matcha in different variants like Strawberry or Coconut. Chicken Bao is also awesome. Muro has nice Al Fresco dining facilities with a dedicated smoking zone. This Al Fresco dining part is pet friendly where people come with their furry friends. The ambience is superb - service is excellent attended by smiling female stewards.

Visited Muro as a party of two and had a largely excellent experience. The food was great overall, with the only miss being the Sichuan Tofu curry. To their credit, the staff handled it well and removed it from our bill without any fuss. The desserts are outstanding, especially the Honey and Cream dessert, which is a must-try. Service was fast and attentive, making the meal feel smooth and unhurried. The interiors are beautifully done. The double-heighted space gives the restaurant an open, airy feel that really elevates the dining experience. Overall: Great food, superb desserts, efficient service, and a thoughtfully designed space. Would definitely recommend.

Hands down, super delicious food! Lots of amazing options for small bites. They even had a Christmas menu. What we ordered: Pina colada, mulled wine, cheung fun with crispy prawns, crab+prawn dim sums, cream cheese dim sums (must try!), turnip cake. Portion sizes on point, we didn't even venture into the main course. Courteous staff too, they don't rush you through and are patient. The place wasn't packed considering it was early evening but I'd recommend reservations all the same. Well worth the visit!

I recently visited Muro Restaurant, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The place has a breezy, relaxed, and welcoming vibe, making it perfect for a laid-back meal with great food. The highlight for me was the Tiger Prawns Starter—fresh, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. It’s one of those dishes that stands out long after the meal is over. A definite must-try for anyone who loves seafood! All the starters were equally impressive, each served with great attention to flavor and presentation. The variety, taste, and quality really showed the kitchen’s expertise. With its wonderful ambience, flavourful food, and friendly service, Muro Restaurant is a spot I’d highly recommend for a memorable dining experience. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had our annual college friends huddle up and this place served perfect match for the celebrations. The ambience is quiet and staff is awesome. They didn't pressure to wrap up. We indeed spend time from 12-5! Every dish we ordered was awesome. Chicken was tender and veg dishes were delicious. Asif was great hosting us there!

Great ambience✨warm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed night out. The restaurant + bar has a really inviting vibe that makes you want to linger. The servers and bartenders were incredibly attentive and delivered top-notch service throughout my visit. I genuinely enjoyed every drink and dish I tried; everything was thoughtfully prepared and tasted amazing. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. 🥂

I went here for my partner’s birthday dinner and it was truly a wonderful night due to the cocktails and the chief waiter who served us. A few of the younger staff were rough around the edges but the main attendant truly went the extra mile. Would recommend this place for anyone who’s fond of great liquor and good food. The ambience is just the cherry on the top.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience at Muro, Church Street! The food here is just outstanding – the dimsums are a must-try and go perfectly with their refreshing drinks. Ended the meal with desserts like Honey & Cream and Silk Route – both absolutely delicious! Special mention to Sourav for being such an amazing staff member – super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re around Church Street – great food, great vibes, and top-notch service!

Food here tasted good, quantity of cocktails could have been better. 'Silk route' we ordered for dessert was scrumptious. Service was excellent. Music wasn't too loud, loved the ambience of this place. Had a luxe experience here. Has both indoor and outdoor seating.

A must try appetizer would be penang prawn. This has the most amazing sauce that was just chefs' kiss. We ended up lathering it over everything else as well. For dessert we tried honey and cream which had so many elements, it was like I was eating a dish right out of master chef Australia. It had a balance of flavours, nothing too over powering.

I know this is a cocktail bar but the coffee served here is delicious! The drinks are meticulously portioned out and prepared- which is something so important when making coffee drinks also. +rep for the delivery packaging- no soggy cups and straws! We are regulars at the breakfast club, the vibes here on a weekend morning might be my favourite in the city. Oh and the ice here is real good, like high quality industrial grade slow melting clear ice. I like that my beverage does not dilute quickly. Adds to the good experience.

Updated review: Went back to Muro recently for their weekend breakfast brunch and had a lovely time. Their menu is a fusion of SE Asian and western dishes so you had the choice to try different dishes. Their coffees are also quite interesting. Muro is the city's latest hangout situated just off Church Street and has a lovely ambience. Their double decker bar is the main feature with a small outdoor section surrounded by plants. We ordered quite a few starters across chicken n pork and a couple of fish and pork salads. The food was pretty good and flavourful. Their drinks were a bit of hit or miss. Their spicy cocktails were bland, so had to be sent back. The deserts were pretty good too. Their service was very ordinary, dishes were served with no serving spoons and no one even offered to serve the food. Something that's unexpected from a fancy restaurant. Maybe they are still learning on the job or they were running full and couldnt handle it. But what put me off was that they offered us only bottled water worth Rs 350 each (Indian brand, 750 ml) and apparently served us a double shot in one of our cocktails without informing us and charged over Rs 1500 for that one drink. So go there with a loaded pocket or double check everything that you order.

I liked the dessert more than the food. The Honey and Cream dessert was just heavenly. Turnip cake was good, but not anything to write home about. The service is great. It seems like a lovely place to be on a date

Amazing place, beautiful cocktails, excellent service and killer atmosphere. Can't wait to go here again. I like their small plates and dimsum. I hope they expand on their desserts too, for now all they serve is four different types of cheesecake 😂.

Flavor packed Dimsums and umami chillis crisps to go along with it. Really good.

We visited this place on a Sunday afternoon. I tried a total of 5 cocktails and I would rate them around 3.5/5. The food was good 4.5/5, esp the fried pork belly. The service was attentive. Ambience is good. A must visit.

The ambience is really good. Just a little noisy if you are sitting outside because of the traffic. Such green well lit place always gets extra brownie points. Tad bit heavy priced but everything we ordered was good

An ambience that can totally wow you? Yes, that's Muro for you. Loved the service and the way how to consume our dear cocktails was explained to us in detail. The music was just about at the right volume level and the dim lighting added to the effect of having conversations filled with laughter and good memories. I would recommend this is an amazing place to go with your loved ones/friends/colleagues. Do try their signature cocktails and Lotus stem starters. While I wish there could have been more quantity of food, the place is mesmerizing enough to compensate for the quantity.

The food was delicious, the cocktails were nice, and the prices were reasonable. There was a great atmosphere where we sat upstairs. The service was very friendly and helpful but unfortunately it was slow for much of the evening. We had a 45 minute wait for our drinks at one point which was almost certainly because the order had been forgotten. We heard other tables complaining about similar situations. Had it not been for these timing issues, I would have considered it a perfect experience, so I hope that the management can resolve this in future.

We visited Muro on my birthday for lunch. We loved the ambience and the food. Special appreciation for Suresh as he took good care of us and suggested good food options according to our preferences and made sure to make my birthday celebration a memorable one. During lunch hours it is a kid friendly place where you can spend a quality time with your family.

Mind-blowing cocktails. The small bites and deserts are excellent. I loved the paneer in peanut sauce in particular. The deserts as well very rich and well crafted. The main courses a bit disappointing, too spicy and oily and full of msg. But the ambience made up for all of that. What a splendid decor! Loved the valet parking as well.

Visited in Jan 2025 The cocktails were decent here. It was a 50/50 hit and miss rate for us in terms of liking the drinks. I would recommend people to try the “Mango Sticky Rice” and “Heat of The Moment cocktails” which were our favourites among the 6-7 drinks we ordered. Food here is average in my opinion. Neither great, nor bad. For quite a few of the dishes we ordered, we felt that the items were deep-fried a bit too much. The dim-sums and Baos were the dishes we liked the most. Service is quite good here. Overall, Muro is a decent-ish cocktail bar in BLR which is worth a visit, but definitely not at par with the likes of ZLB 23 and Bar Spirit Forward.

The Sunday brunch was pleasant experience. The food reflected the pricing and prep time did not disappoint. The service was a confused, allotment of requested table was not available, served multiple wrong dishes and told we'd have to vacate by 1230 as the place was fully booked there after, this was told to us after we ordered. Being curious we stayed beyond our dead line only to see the crowd fade and leave. But again not a deal breaker would probably do this again. What was truly a turn off was the music, please have this fixed, such a poor and miss match of a selection.

This place is ideal to impress a date as long as they are into cocktails, they have (host) external crafted cocktails at times as well, and it’s impressive, however the food doesn’t justify the price or the expectations. Their cuisine is Pan Asian indeed but a careful review of the culinary expertise and options is much required. Due to the price many come here only for an hour or two to drink cocktails and to experience the posh surroundings. Their cuisine bartenders are amazing and the staff are excellent at their job indeed.

The ambience is amazing. There's ground floor for food and a cocktail bar at the first floor with only bar bites available. The cocktail bar is amazing, low lighting and great cocktails. The only thing is cocktail bar is known for the waiters explaining the drinks but our waiter didn't explain it to us or anyone else he served. Whereas I saw another waiter explain to everyone he was serving. Missed that honestly cuz my friend ordered a cocktail which if we wouldn't have googled we wouldn't have known what it is (Miami Vice). Other than that it was good and food was good too. It is a little bit on the expensive side and that's why I was expecting a better service.

Really beautiful place! We only tried two dishes and a cocktail because we only wanted something small. I had the spa day cocktail because I was intrigued by feta being an ingredient. However, I was not the biggest fan. We had the Singaporean crispy tofu which was AMAZING! We also had the steamed squid and wild fungus. I found it way too spicy!! Plating was beautiful and staff was very helpful.

Muro is a pan-Asian restaurant with a great vibe and beautiful aesthetics. Starting with the food the cream cheese dumplings were amazing, the mushroom dumplings were decent, and the bao was also decent. Unfortunately, the desserts were quite disappointing. Personally, I feel a restaurant experience truly stands out when the desserts are done right, and this was a miss. That said, the ambience and overall vibe were really impressive. Overall, a decent experience.

Loved this place. We went for breakfast and its a lovely place. Its near church street so location wise really good. Food options are mostly Asian, but they have nice coffee and deserts. Gives you the 5 star hotel breakfast feeling especially with the ambience.

Ambience and music are excellent. Food is alright. The service is good. Their menu is different and presentation of food is good. Vegetarian options are better than the non veg ones. Dim sum, desserts and cocktails are good. Valet parking and a clean washroom are available They have both indoor and outdoor seating options

Food is decent, nothing so great that I'd recommend to friends or family. Ambience was okayish as well, they close off majority of the restaurant and you have an option to sit in only certain sections. Spent around 4k for 2 people, it should have been a memorable experience at least with a culinary perspective. Service was good.

This is a good place for Thai and Pan Asian food in Bangalore. It's in the Church Street Area. I would advise you to make a reservation for lunch or dinner, and leave early from your place because Museum Rd is sometimes a one way street, especially on Saturdays and you may have to take a deviation to reach the restaurant. I would rate the food a 4/5. We ordered the Spinach and Water chestnut Dimsum, Spicy Chicken Dimsum, Tom Kha Chicken Soup, Corn Curd small plate, Beef in Black Pepper Sauce small plate, Spicy Vegetable Fried Rice. The service is not very great. We had issues with the servers bringing the food one at a time and it gets cold by the time the other accompaniment food comes. They had taken a wrong order, which in itself took a long time, and then the right order of the fried rice came to the table after 40 minutes, the beef dish was cold. The experience of eating the food is lost when servers make even the slightest of mistakes. It was a birthday treat and this experience killed that experience. I talked to the manager Sahil after talking to 3-4 service staff about our delayed order, and he seemed understanding and assured us that he would fix the problems and got the fried rice on our table in 5 minutes, after we talked to him. Hopefully the floor manager and the kitchen manager can learn how to send out the food on time (not too early or too late) so customers don't have to wait for 40 minutes to get the fried rice when the main dish is already on the table. For their poor service I give a 2/5. Overall the ambience is good, but I would give it only a 3/5 for ambience, since the chairs at the corner are touching the chairs on the table next to us, when someone is sitting there. Pricing is decent. Two people going for lunch or dinner will cost around ₹3500 inclusive of taxes. I would like to reiterate, the food is great and hopefully the restaurant can fix these issues the next time we visit the place. Thanks.

I went to this place for dinner after hearing lot of good reviews on Maps and Instagram. Overall : The food was a big disappointment. The service and Atmosphere was good - but the drinks and food was disappointment. Parking : Valet parking available Crowded : Less crowded on weekday Staff : Polite Price: High

I recently stopped by Muro for a light dinner. I wasn’t particularly hungry, so I limited myself to just two dishes and my go-to Diet Coke. For appetizers, I chose a mushroom-filled dim sum and a corn-curd starter made from a blend of sweet corn and tofu. Both plates were unexpectedly delightful: the dim sum had thin, delicate wrappers that gave way to a savory, earthy mushroom filling, while the corn-curd bites were crisp on the outside, silky inside, and seasoned just enough to let the natural sweetness of the corn shine through. The restaurant itself makes a positive first impression. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, with warm lighting and sleek modern accents that strike a comfortable balance between casual and upscale. It’s the sort of atmosphere that encourages you to linger over your meal. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the ambiance or the quality of the food. While the staff was polite, their interactions felt almost robotic—scripted rather than genuinely welcoming—and the pace was sluggish. I found myself waiting longer than expected for simple requests, which gave the impression that the team was going through the motions rather than offering attentive hospitality. Overall, I left with mixed feelings: excellent small plates and a stylish setting, offset by service that felt slow and impersonal. If Muro can inject a bit more warmth and efficiency into its service, it has the potential to become a regular favorite for those evenings when you want great flavors in a refined space without committing to a heavy meal

We had been for breakfast. On Sunday it's a timed breakfast for 90 minutes and they inform you before. The places is really good with lots of greenery. Ordered egg and avacado toast, cold cappuccino and sandwich cold brew coffee. The quantity of food was pretty less and the quality was good. The sandwich had fried bread which was surprising. The prices are on the higher side and there is 10% service change.

Cocktails waren gemiddeld. Nogal geforseeede combinaties soms en ook heel kleine porties. Betere cocktail bars daar in de buurt.

Won’t be going back again anytime, neither will I hype it up unnecessarily. What I liked - Architecture & design – The space is undeniably gorgeous. High ceilings, thoughtful lighting, and plenty of Instagram-worthy corners show real attention to detail. - First impressions – Host desk and seating process were smooth, and the room looks the part of a premium dining spot. Where it falls short - Food – Solidly average Thai. Flavors are competent but never memorable, and prices sit far above what the dishes deliver. In two chicken-based plates the meat tasted noticeably stale—initially masked by fish-sauce notes, but obvious under brighter light. - Drinks – Cocktails are just OK; a few classics with Thai twists but nothing you’d rave about, again at top-tier prices. - Vibe – Despite the striking décor, the room somehow feels flat once you’re seated. Music and energy don’t match the dramatic setting. - Value – With entrées and drinks priced like a special-occasion spot, you expect fireworks. Instead you leave feeling you’ve paid a cover charge for the architecture. Bottom line Muro is worth a single visit if you’re curious about the design, but don’t go expecting standout food or cocktails. Beautiful room, average fare, steep bill—I won’t be rushing back.

The food was great. But service was really poor and slow. The servers seemed too busy and distracted. Had to wait a long time before someone took our order. Had to wait a lot for food to arrive. The servers did not even take the order properly, they forgot some items in the order. This happened twice. They were not even able to describe items in the menu. They had no recommendations. Nothing. Very disappointing service, ruined the experience. I would have give 1 star if the food wasn’t so good.

Meant to be one of the best cocktail bars in town, they advertise drinks they don't have in stock. Empty bottles on display when I looked closer, I have been to alot of bars around the planet, this one disappointed for sure,I gave up had one drink and moved on to a better bar that had everything it advertised

I was celebrating my mom's birthday at Muro. Made a reservation also. Ordered crispy lotus stem, chicken pot stickers, pad Thai, Jasmin rice, veg masaman curry, prawn coconut curry. All the food was cold. Even when I sent the food back, they reheated it in the microwave and returned it. When I brought it to the manager not much was done. He apologised for the food and gave me a half hearted excuse that this has never come as a complaint before. I really put me and my family off Muro. I would never recommended it to anybody.

Sudipta Baruah

I went with high hopes on the cocktails but was pretty disappointed with all the cocktails I tried. I reached 20mins late thanks to wonderful Bangalore traffic and roads and had my reservation cancellled immediately within 15mins but was given the bar table which was infact very good. Maybe a little attention to the quality of drinks might have made my experience memorable. I tried prawns and chicken satay and the food is very good.
