We’ve been to Vasilis several times for celebration dinners and a couple times for brunch on the weekend. For apps, we’ve loved the spanakopita and the HTIPITI hummus. Friends have ordered their sourdough app and shared with us-it’s also quite tasty. The saganaki is usually on point. The Octopodi has been my favorite main dish, and my husband loves their Feta Brined Chicken. Our friends love the shrimp souvlaki and the gyros. Recently we tried the lamb burger at brunch and loved it. For dessert I’ve enjoyed their loukoumades and usually the bougatsa is good. My husband and his friend prefer the banana cream napolean.

Hands down best food around downtown Naperville. Our server Nick was incredible and recommended the most delicious dessert called Banana Cream Napoleon. 10/10 recommended. Best service and great food. We will be back.

Came here for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday and had a wonderful time. The food was very good and came very quickly. Our server, Siba was so personable and attentive. Overall had a great experience- will definitely be back!!

Incredible Experience From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish came out fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. What really made the night unforgettable was Krystal’s amazing service. She was attentive without ever hovering, knew the menu inside and out, and offered great recommendations that we loved. Had a very nice Sunday dinner sitting outside near the river. Our overall favorite was the Caesar salad along with the octopus. I will not order the feta brine chicken again as it was a whole half chicken and just too much food with having appetizers and salad. Hummus was garlicky. We will return. Service was great.

Vasilis is by far my favorite restaurant. It’s a cozy Greek place that always makes me feel welcome from the moment I walk in. The atmosphere is warm, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for both a casual dinner and a special evening out. My absolute favorite dish there is the shrimp, they’re incredibly juicy and perfectly cooked every time, never overdone. The salads are fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Their desserts are amazing, light, and delicious, the perfect way to end a meal. Another thing I love about Vasilis is how convenient it is, the parking area is spacious and easy to access, which makes visiting stress-free. Overall, Vasilis combines excellent food, friendly service, and a peaceful setting. I always leave happy and can’t wait to come back again.

Went here for my wife’s birthday. Couldn’t have been happier with the care and the overall experience that we received. Dejah was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Her recommendations and overall personality was great! Food was fantastic and was presented beautifully! A little expensive but worth it! Will be coming back! Thank you guys!

Vasilis in Naperville is one of our favorite spots. The food is delicious, the cocktails are amazing, and the interior is beautiful and cozy. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes us want to come back every time. We always return here and highly recommend this place

We had a fantastic dinner here! Siba took care of us and was very friendly and super attentive. She offered us great recommendations and a good vibe for the evening! The food was delicious! I loved seeing the grill from our table. Our favorite dish was the Brussel sprouts! Heavenly! I would highly recommend!

Fantastic place !! Simply the best food and service in town . You can’t go wrong !! Justin and Liz were amazing hosts, the hospitality is extraordinary !!! The food was amazing … we had to take some home .. We usually don’t do drinks or dessert but we went for both and we were blown away Definitely be back for more !! Must go! The atmosphere is wonderful, decor amazing. And the food was so fresh, like it came from the source. Sadly I didn’t take pics of the food but the roasted beet salad and gyros were on our list and the NA cocktail was really fun. Our server, Brittney, was spot on. She rocks!!!! And was knowledgable about the food and flavors. Can’t wait to eat here and try more! Best part… everything was clean, really clean, great attention to detail.

Our first time here couldn’t be any better!!! Coming from a family who cooks Greek cuisine, it blew my expectations out of the water. Karina was an amazing server, from making us feel like we knew her for years to attentive/great hospitality. Will be back very soon! We had such a wonderful dining experience at Meditation Restaurant! The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and beautifully put together — just like the name suggests. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Our server, Nick, was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The moment you step inside, the lively atmosphere sets the tone for a fun night out, whether you are on a date or sharing a meal with friends. Service felt warm and attentive, and every part of the meal left a strong impression. The halibut arrived perfectly cooked and presented with care. The texture was tender and the fish tasted very fresh. I did wish for a touch more seasoning, but it still made for an enjoyable seafood dish. The paidakia, or grilled lamb chops, became an instant favorite. The sauce added bold flavor and the lamb was cooked exactly right. There was a bit more melted fat than I personally prefer, yet the dish remained satisfying from the first bite to the last. The biggest surprise of the night was the hummus. It was unbelievably smooth, wonderfully balanced, and easily the best version I have tried in the area. Many other guests mentioned it in their reviews and I can fully agree with them. The broccolini side also impressed me. It carried a deep, smoky flavor and the slight char made it even more delicious. It tied the whole meal together in a very pleasing way. The drinks were excellent. Each one felt carefully crafted with thoughtful flavors that paired beautifully with the food. From beginning to end, the experience was top tier. With terrific dishes, real attention to detail, and a very inviting atmosphere, Vasilis deserves a spot on the must visit list for anyone spending time in Naperville. Five stars without hesitation.

HUGE shoutout to Krystal! She made our dinner an unforgettable experience with her extensive insight and knowledge on the menu, followed by awesome recommendations. Food was great, ambience was lit, whoever picked the playlist needs a raise. Kudos to the chef and cooks, steak was *fire emoji*. In all seriousness Krystal was great and made our experience at Vasili’s magical.

Siba was our server. She was very informative about the menu and helped us choose some of the best hummus, Vasili’s chips and other favorites. I would definitely come back and ask for her to be my server!

Very nice place with a nice atmosphere and delicious food. Our server Victor was not at all intrusive, but very nice and attentive, has a very pleasant voice. We will definitely come back again!

Must go to place! Sat at the bar, I like watching to see all the cocktails and dishes. Ended up with Cesar salad, unique version, really enjoyed. Had the lamb skewers (wow, perfectly prepared). Spouse had the Halibut, superb, light, grilled perfectly but ask for light sauce, his had too much. Cocktails were so tasty and high end. Enjoy

Gorgeous restaurant with amazing service and delicious food. We were served by Siba and she was an absolute gem as she provided amazing recommendations and also timely service. We also had issues with parking which delayed some of our party and she was very patient. We highly recommend the lamb and roasted potato’s AND the broccoli, the crispy bits on top were delicious. Drinks were also incredibly fresh and delicious!

Our server Krystal was truly outstanding! She was always welcoming with a warm smile, making me feel right at home. Thank you for making our dinner so much more enjoyable—your kindness really made a difference!

We had a fantastic meal and service at Vasili’s, as always. Paloma our server was excellent - great food and drink suggestions; knew the menu perfectly; and tailored to our tastes. Wonderful time, atmosphere and service.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Brought my mother in from out of town, was immediately seated even though I was 30 minutes early to my reservation. The drinks were delicious, food out of this world, and the service from Daniela was impeccable! One of my new favorite restaurants and I plan on becoming a regular.

AMAZING ALL AROUND! While a reservation does not guarantee a specific table, you don't need a window table to appreciate the art of this place, staff, and well thought out food. You can easily share one side amongst 2 people. It's Mediterranean. The food is phenomenal! The staff makes excellent suggestions and they are very attentive! When our food was taking a little longer to come out, they noticed and made sure to prioritize ours since others that came in and ordered after us had gotten their food and finished eating before we got ours. Doesn't seem like a common issue though considering how they noticed and prioritized. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had siba as a server, she was incredible. Top notch. She was knowledgeable friendly with a great table presence. We would definitely ask for her again. I would also like to give a shout out to Ryan who was also very friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving.

Dined at Vasilis on Saturday night with another couple and had the best night. The specialty cocktails and apps were the perfect start (we ordered the Trio and the Saganaki with extra Grilled Sourdough). All of our dinners were amazing - can't go wrong with the menu...but what made our whole experience so much fun was our server, Siba! She was sweet and welcoming right from the start and we had even more fun with her as the night went on! She made great drink and menu suggestions and stopped by frequently to make sure we had what we needed! Next time we go, I will absolutely ask for her!

The best mussels! Don’t come without getting that as an appetizer. Espresso martinis were also to die for. We got the ribeye and wagyu and both were cooked perfectly - shoutout to the kitchen! I love how great our server/bartender was and always served me (the lady) first. To me, that’s just good manners I was taught long ago in hospitality. It was a great experience! We drove an hour and a half to come here and happy we did! Thanks Alyssa and the rest of the team for a great first experience!

Incredible establishment - hard to believe it comes under the same umbrella as Davanti Enoteca, which was a bit mid. The spot is stellar right on the riverwalk - it’s a bit cramped inside on a busy day, but in a good, cozy type of way. Service was fantastic. Sampled an array of things but standouts were the saganaki, mussels, wagyu flatiron, and bakalao. Zestos cocktail was strong and on the dot. Happy to say I will be going back!

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at Vasilis Naperville! We chose Vasilis in Naperville to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was the perfect choice for a special evening. From the moment we walked in, the setting was beautiful and filled with energetic, vibrant vibes. It truly felt like a celebration. The food is absolutely excellent, with every dish being incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented—seriously, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We 100% recommend starting with the appetizers, especially the flaming cheese and the delicious spreads. For the entrée, the rib eye was delicious and cooked to absolute perfection. A huge kudos to the cooks for their dedication to quality! And make sure you try the pita bread—it was honestly the best I've ever tasted. What made our dinner even more special was our server, Dani. She provided outstanding service despite the restaurant being very busy. Dani took the time to explain the menu entirely and offered excellent recommendations. She was incredibly attentive and cordial throughout the evening. She even offered to take a picture of our family before I could ask, making us feel truly taken care of. Everything we ordered was brought to our table quickly and smoothly. Vasilis provided a fantastic dining experience for our family. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a night out for outstanding Greek cuisine!

Came here for the first time and the food was amazing! Siba was our waitress and she gave the best recommendations. We had the 45 day aged ribeye and it was so tender and flavorful. Then Siba recommended the Pot de creme for dessert and it was so rich and smooth. Definitely recommend!

Great experience. Atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Our server was Juan and he was GREAT. It was our first time dining there and Juan did a wonderful job explaining the menu and even gave us some recommendations. Juan was very attentive and made our date night experience both fun and stress free. Definitely will be returning!

First of all, shoutout to the best waitress we had (I think she’s been working here since they opened 5 years ago), if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! Everyone else was nice in the restaurant and we felt welcome. Food was overall 7/10. The best dishes would be the sea bass and the side of rice. Beet salad was great and hummus with pita was fantastic. The only bad part was the eggplant and the zucchini chips. The zucchini chips breading was too much and they over fried it so it was a bit hard to chew and it was too crunchy. Eggplants were the worst part because it served cold plus nothing on top was cooked properly. However the presentation was great! I understand it was definitely a busy night and they didn’t have enough help in the kitchen. In the future we will definitely come back and try again!

Was really expecting more from this place. When we got to our table they were literally playing club music in there at 4 PM…like seriously, it doesn’t belong to a restaurant setting at all, especially when there’s an older crowd visiting. Take Spotify away from your hostess. Caesars salad was OK but 3 little shrimps that come with it looked really disappointing. Lobster tail plate was really underwhelming too. Then the meat (lamb souvlaki) was served on a cold plate instead of hot skillet and it cooled down so fast it was not pleasant to finish it. House salad was OK.

Service is great but the food is terrible. Definitely not authentic Mediterranean food. Had the trio spread of tzatziki, taramosalata and hummus. Usually humus should be spot on, definitely wasn’t worth trying. The second one is unique and tasted the best. Had the feta and olives which were good. For entrees, first one had a plate of variety of seafood that was absolutely disgusting, not fresh at all, my husband ended up throwing up. Second dish was lamb skewers that were overcooked. Will not ever come back to this place.

Service was minimal (besides taking orders and dropping the check) we have to wrap up all the leftovers ourselves- food was okay, a bit bland (have to ask for salt and pepper) lamb was chew / the spread with pita bread was good, so was the potato side, beautiful decoration tho

I want to start off by saying that I was extremely excited to try this restaurant. I drove an hour away to come visit this place based off of the high reviews online. I also looked at the menu and everything looked great. I managed to snag a 8:30 reservation. I arrived about 20 minutes early expected a little bit of a wait, however they advised that there was a table ready that was not in the greatest location or I would have to wait until almost 9 for a table (which made no sense seeing as I secured a reservation). We took the table because we were hungry but there was a strange sewage smell at that table. We overlooked it thinking the food would be worth it. HOWEVER, The food was absolutely disgusting. I started off with the “village salad” it was not good and I almost broke my tooth biting into a Kalamata olive with a pit in it. Not enjoyable. On to our entrees… I ordered the chicken kebabs. They tasted like lighter fluid and were dry. My significant other got gyros. They were extremely dry the pita wasn’t warm the meat was flavorless and Luke warm. He then ended up ordering a cod he HATED it. I wish I took a picture of the plate presentation. The plate had globs of brown sauce all over it that looked like globs of poop. Just unsavory to look at on top of the fish being bland and whatever the fish was sitting on top of was sour. He needed up sending it back to the kitchen and after that was over the entire experience. We left hungry and short $100. Also the music atmosphere was tacky. The music was loud and didn’t match the aesthetic. It felt like I was shopping in a trendy clothing store. All in all very disappointed and will NEVER go back. Don’t waste your money. If you like authentic Greek food do not come here. Very white washed.
