Excellent Italian cuisine. We went there for a business lunch, and I had an eggplant parm it was absolutely delicious. My colleagues also really liked the food. If you are in the area and like Italian food, this is an excellent choice.

This dining experience is the triple threat! The food ,service and atmosphere cannot be beat. Whether dining in or having an event catered, Jose and his team take the time to ensure that every part of your experience is perfect. This is one of those dining gems that you only find once in a blue moon. It's a must to have on your list of go to restaurants. 5 ⭐️

Veal Shoulder over pasta was incredible! The space is both cozy and welcoming at the same time. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed and they were out of most beverages except for wine, but the delicious meal made up for it. Suggestion to management: rename the smoked salmon carbonara dish to make it very clear that it's made with smoked salmon. Two members of our party of 12 ordered it and were extremely disappointed to see that it was smoked salmon. Not everyone reads the item description when ordering, apparently. I would've loved it, they both didn't.

Excellent restaurant!! Definitely recommend this one if you want to have an amazing dinner or either lunch! Staff was friendly and the Lasagna De Carne was fantastic!

You'll leave this place feeling like you just visited Italy minus the plane ticket . Don't forget to top off your meal with the cappuccino. The service is amazing. They provide great attention to detail and make sure you're well taken care of . Just like you ate at your Italian friend's house that treat you like family . The vibe is welcoming. Lots of parking so no worries .

We recently held a private event at Spiga and could not have been happier with the outcome. The manager, Jose, was incredibly helpful, supportive and professional, as was the staff. The food was delicious, fresh and flavorful. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the space is very private. We were able to use the whole room during Sunday lunchtime when they are not usually open. We have also had dinner at Spiga many times and always enjoyed it. It is a hidden gem and we will definitely be going back!

Really surprised to discover this place here - while we had heard good things about it, it was the first time we went here and truly enjoyed the food and laid back ambience. The food was as good as some of the better north end restaurants without the many hassles of north end and the service was attentive and knowledgeable. Starters were good but the burrata for example was not the best of best though the sauce that came with it was pretty good …the shrimp was OK. Entrees and pasta were decent sized and tasty. The entrees came with some risottos which were both excellent. The pasta was fresh and tasty. The desserts were stand out good - all of them - look at the pics to make up your minds. Lots of parking and easy access so there was absolutely no hassle in getting there or leaving.

What a gem! Spiga offers an exceptional Italian dining experience well beyond what you'd experience in Boston's North End. Every dish was memorable, but I will certainty be back for the eggplant parmesan. It is a beautiful and relaxed setting offering exemplary service. Our dinner experience was one of the most memorable in recent memory. Truly cannot recommend this place more!

I would sell my soul to eat their bolognese!!!! Omg it’s the best bolognese I’ve ever had in my life I am not joking. I haven’t eaten anything else there except the desserts, which are excellent as well. But that bolognese 👌👌👌👌

Excellent pasta! Reliably good food and the best tiramisu! No cocktail menu but they do have a full bar and a good wine list.

The establishment demonstrated exceptional hospitality and friendliness towards us. After the sunset, when mosquitoes became prevalent, they graciously permitted us to relocate to an enclosed table. I am deeply appreciative of this gesture, as it significantly enhanced our dining experience, enabling us to savor the cuisine without the discomfort of insect bites.

Having dinner last night was a very pleasurable and enjoyable evening.The staff was amazing Food on point the taste the flavors brought me right back to Italy.I will seeing them again next week.

We have enjoyed many lovely meals at Spiga, so when the time came to have a memorial luncheon for our mother, we didn't hesitate to ask Jose to plan the day. Jose and the staff did an outstading job on every level. The room looked elegant with linens and orchids on every table. The presentation of the food was attractive and easy to navigate, and of course, the food was delicious. They accomodated all our requests too. After a stressful day, going to Spiga to dine and unwind was like getting a big hug! Thank you all for the top-notch and relaxing afternoon. P.S. The bread pudding is the best anywhere!

We love this restaurant. It’s such a hidden gem. They always welcome us like we’ve been coming for years even though we’ve been maybe 4 times. The food is consistently delicious and they can make you anything you want that may not be on the menu.

Spiga is always fantastic! The food is excellent and as authentic as you can find in the Boston area. The staff always make you feel at home. Perfect for a special night or just because. If you can't get to Italy, get to Spiga!

We sat outdoors at Spiga, and I really enjoyed our waitress and my entree. My partner was a bit less impressed with his food, but he's a Sicilian cook himself, so he's often less impressed than I am with our food choices. He had the veal Parmigiano and felt that it could have been crisper and more highly spiced. My fish and risotto were excellent. We both loved the canolli dessert and would highly recommend it.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. The food was good, but it lacked a little flavor. The people working there are super nice. I'll definitely come back to try something different.

Great dinner. Veal meatballs were superb, Mushroom Aranccini were fabulous and Gnocchi was excellent. Get the Taramisu to finish your evening. Service from entire staff was personable, informed and attentative.

Spiga is a upscale Italian restaurant with all the flavour of you favorite Italian food but updated to a suit a more modern customer base. The food is perfectly cooked and presented and the staff atentative.

Prosciutto with melon was amazing, spaghetti bolognese was pretty decent, and vanilla bread pudding was fantastic!

Had to waive down the server a few times. Felt the service was a bit inattentive at times but the food and drinks were exceptional.

The chicken dish was okay. There was only one gf option for a chicken dish. Small portions. Flavor lacking. My friend got the steak and she said it was a bit overcooked. The atmosphere is great-loved decor. If you’re hungry and looking for food gf options, I would say look elsewhere. This was close to our hotel which is why we chose this (the Sheraton Needham). Also, both my friend and I got the Eggplant side dish with our meals and both had horrible stomach pains - we think due to Soy or some type of “filler” that it was cooked with.

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere, very cozy , cosmopolitan beverage was made perfectly by Marta , however can not recommend any dish ( I was a bit disappointed).

Pedestrian Italian food with a good vibe. I ordered the seafood stew special and the seafood was great but the pasta was generic and the sauce was super bland, no spice.

Ordered take out, checken under the brick had blood on the bones, clearly undercooked. The other dishes were gnocchi and veal cutlet and were ok, nothing to be proud of.

The service was friendly and the vibe of the restaurant was nice, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. There was a noticeable lack of flavor across the board. The chicken parmesan was rubbery, had very little sauce, and tasted more like something you’d get from a local pizza joint than from a proper Italian restaurant. My friend ordered the half chicken, which was undercooked, slightly bloody, and just as bland. Even the cappuccino was a letdown—comparable to what you’d get at Dunkin’. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience. I won’t be returning. There are better Italian restaurants in Needham.
