A warm welcome is always on offer at Irish Annie's Bar. The drinks are reasonably priced, the staff are very pleasant, the clientele are mixed nationalities & age ranges. The best experience by far was to enjoy the live music sessions provided by Flip on Weds evening & Keron at the weekend. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere.

I was there tonight with my family and baby. Bar was very accommodating with a very relaxing atmosphere. The service was too classy by a lovely woman who ensured we had everything we needed. The Guinness was the best I've had outside of Ireland. Great bar will be back many times.

Good little bar. Annie is a nice lady. Decent guitarist who played for a good couple of hours. Sing-a-long stuff, the kind you like after a few drinks.

An authentic, cosy, Irish Bar tucked away in the back streets of Nerja. Usually attracts a mature, well-behaved crowd. Serves Estrella Damm, Heineken and, of course, Guinness on draught. Slainte!

Nice spot; good for a GAA match but streaming was a disaster on the day I was there. Pretty standard irish bar.

Popped in here a few nights on our holidays. Has regular live music and good craic. Steve the barman is a good fella. Compared to Spanish booze the Guinness is a little pricer, but good quality

What is it about Irish Bars the world over. Oh I remember there supposed to be Irish? Well they have a very Important role to play in Irish Culture! They televise all the GAA MATCHES. That's as far as it goes. For all non irish folks go to Ireland for a true reflection of the Irish Pub. Having said all that Irish Annie's is the Best Irish Pub in Nerja.

We went to hear Irish music, but sadly none playing, don't serve food either, lovely Norwegian man serving made our night.

This bar is down a short side street about 10 minutes from the centre of town. Inside the bar is quite small so it doesn't take many people to fill it up. It feels like a British/ irish style pub. There are tables on an outside patio area. There is an Irish singer twice a week and the Guinness is excellent, served by friendly staff. There is nothing immediately beside this pub and it feels a little out of the way but it was a good stop off point when walking from the Riu Monica (5 minutes) into town (a further 10 minutes) Worth calling in for a pint

Watched the rugby here for the past two weeks. Very hot inside. There is a screen outside but it's too bright to see anything. Two tvs inside but could only hear from one speaker. Both tvs had different colours on the screens. I found the prices here dearer than other establishments I've been to. There are better places to go watch sport with much larger screens.

Pub could really do with a good clean. Staff very helpful good atmosphere. But really needs to be freshened up some.

If you have the misfortune to walk in expecting a warm Irish welcome then you'll be disappointed. What you'll find is a bar full of local expats and a dour Scottish barmaid who will treat your custom as an inconvenience. So if you're in the area do yourself a favour and walk on by - there are plenty of bars in Nerja with good friendly service.

Abusive and unpleasant staff. We walked in and sat at the bar, hadn’t even said anything and 2 other people, who walked in after us, were served first. Then we got abuse from the bar staff when we asked why we were still waiting. Don’t go there, they might not like the look of you…

So sad, I walked in and right away and older local (Scottish, not that that matters) but he was a local. Said to me “what the hell are you doing here” I was a little shocked so just said hello nicely. Then patiently waiting, me and my partner have no problem in waiting for any amount of time! It’s was the treatment of us and the people and the bar lady that was upsetting. She served a few other people that just walked in (were locals) after we have been waiting for ten mins or so, it was quiet and no one was queuing, again don’t mind waiting at all! And serving regulars first not a problem at all! but she didn’t look at us or speak to us totally ignored us! We walked out as felt really unwelcome, then the bar lady shouted sorry I wasn’t quicker in a very aggressive way! Again shocked we kept walking as was worried she was going to get more aggressive. My friend is English and I’m Italian, I’m not sure if it’s because we are of different nationality or just not a regular to her bar that she treated us like that and ignored us! Felt really unwanted. She seemed very angry that we were even there. My partner has an English accent so maybe that pissed her of I’m not sure but if you’re not a regular to that place don’t go there!!! Really upset :( was having a lovely day and to be “treated like that” again happy to wait but seemed to not want to serve us at all!! So I would never go back. Love Sophia Romano
