Had a grandmother/granddaughter day. We were greeted immediately when we entered which was nice and welcoming. Our server Jon was the best. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He was super upbeat and a all around nice young man. I will be going back again. I asked Jon his schedule so I can come when he's there. It's nice to go out and have someone who genuinely love their job and it reflects in great customer service.

I was greeted by the hosted Imani and she was a delight, very inviting and got me seated as soon as I walked in the door. The food came out fast and was delicious. My food & drinks were served to perfection by Dominic a welcoming gentleman with a nice smile behind the bar. I am from Alaska and I have been there 2 times. I definitely will recommend this place to my friends and family. I’m going back tonight!

Great food and came out when it was estimated to be ready. This Applebees is notably cheaper than other Applebees in NYC and further east into LI.

Random Wednesday night at Applebee's is what the doctor ordered! Haven't been in years but I was craving the fries. I'm glad we chose this location for more reasons than the wings and burgers that we had. Fabrice was an EXCELLENT server who went above and beyond. He was very attentive. He made sure we did not run out of beer (responsibly). Hats off to Fabrice and THANK YOU!

They never served me my dinner so I went home hungry. The waitress took a really long time serving us. Every few minutes she would ask me if I received my dinner and then she asked if I wanted dessert without having any dinner. Very disorganized and inefficient restaurant. This is an update. The manager phoned and invited me to come with my wife for dinner. I have to say that his kind response and our dining experience more than made up for the last time. Everyone has an off day but this was an on day for us.

I love coming to this one. The people are friendly, and the service has always been great. It's classic American. Booths, a bar in the middle, TV screens with sports and events. For many years I did not go to Applebee's again; days harking back to Pizzaria Uno's and the like. The food got real terrible, and prices too crazy. While prices have gotten crazy pretty much everywhere, they have brought back a more affordable menu, and it's good! The burgers and fries, is amazing. I keep order the same thing, because I just have trouble believing it is this good, for this price. These burgers have replaced the classic "burger deluxe" at the diners for me. So why 4 instead of 5; their appetizers need work. While I do understand that most are pre made and frozen, toss the quesadillas on the griddle or grill for a minute. The boneless wings, they need a different vendor. It's like a flat hair day on a 70's disco night. Their salads have come a long way; it's worth having if your into more traditional salads, and the portion sizes are good. Their steaks are flavorful, and satisfies most cravings without the steakhouse pricing. They do appear to be brined, as is common in this price point, and mechanically tenderized.

We hadn't been to our local Applebee's in a long time. This visit was very pleasant. We had no wait to be seated and the waiter was very cordial and took our order promptly. The food was brought out in good time. Food was cooked as ordered. A glass of ice was brought along with the extra glass of water. Check was brought promptly. It was a very pleasant dinner. The only distraction was the music which was playing very loudly, which could be someone annoying. This place is good for a casual meal at reasonable prices.

The closest Applebee's by me. I go here for half apps. Nothing to complain about. The Garlic Parmesan boneless wings do not come with cheese though. The ones at the Westbury and Farmingdale locations do.

The host and staff were friendly while they also did a stand up job in decorating the interior for the holiday observance. Despite the fact that they were pretty busy based on the packed parking lot the staff were able to deliver by providing quick and efficient service accurately. Not all places can do so some good teamwork happening here. Due credit to the management and staff members. The menu usually changes at the right intervals and the executive chefs try to reach the masses with fairly good tastes.

I had a solid experience at Applebee’s Grill + Bar in New Hyde Park, Long Island. The food was definitely good flavorful and satisfying, with a nice variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal. However, the service was just okay. While the staff was friendly, it didn’t stand out as exceptional. Additionally, I did feel like the prices were a little on the higher side for what you get. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I think a slight adjustment in pricing would make it even better. Still, a solid 4-star experience!

Its hard to respect any bartender that doesn't give you a buy back or at least make the drinks strong plus to pricey for regular nothing special food

I had the all-you-can-eat for $15.99 with my wife. The food was excellent and the service was great as well. I had a taste of everything shrimp, chicken stripes, and ribs with some alcohol and left quite satisfied.

My experience tonight 4/23/2025 @10:01pm my arrival time -The server Brianna at this location is the worst! This girl is definitely racist because for her to ask her African American manager to deal with me moving forward , only because I asked her to change my sangria that tasted mostly pineapple juice she made !! What confirmed my suspicion, was the moment she asked a server to past me my bill, when she was standing right next to me . Her service is the worst and people like her don’t deserve to be in the business of providing customer service !! The worst thing experience ever at an Applebees .

Ok, the food at this location is either a hit or miss. The cilantro chicken bowl for me was horrible the rice was brick hard. Never again. But their Asian salad always perfect . I HAD TO WRITE THIS REVIEW huge thank you to Chris. Whenever we go there, we request him to be our server . He's absolutely amazing. The lady at the bar provided exceptional service—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure our drinks were always topped off. Mozzarella Sticks were cold and not melted enough, salad tasted very good but extremely small. Wait, what salad? Did I even eat one? Doesn't feel like it. Average service, decent wait for food. Good tasting but not efficient. Good for a 20 dollar snack with 1200 calories.

I've came here a bunch of times and service isn't all too great. They have their good and bad days. When I came with my sister, our food took a little over an hour to be served and we were starving. I was so upset by the slow service. I always get something from their Jack Daniel's menu 'cause I love the taste of the sauce. If you haven't tried it, you should! It's a bit pricey and sometimes their steak isn't all that great but it's worth a try. It comes with 2 sides! Some other times I would get the baby back ribs (half rack) if I'm feeling not too hungry. It's not too heavy for me and the meat is so soft. I think I actually prefer the baby back ribs than the Jack Daniel's steak and shrimp (it really depends on whether or not the steak is cooked good).

Or else, overall spot is ok 👌 they have a great variety of original meal to choose from and some great cocktails affordable to some extent. The food was great, but the service was subpar. Our server Alayna, although not necessarily rude, was not the friendliest either. Her disinterest in her job is clearly evident. And trust me, I get it. I’m a fellow server myself, and sometimes we really have to deal with awful people. However, I don’t necessarily think that that is an excuse to act coldly toward the majority of your tables. I get it, it’s an Applebee’s, you really can’t expect too much. But honestly, I would rather eat somewhere else where the server doesn’t make me feel like a burden just for being there.

Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner with my family. Service was acceptable. Food was bland. My wife enjoyed her meal which is all that counts. We will be back. The burger was underwhelming. I asked for medium well and I got medium. It was still very much pink and runny, making the bread soggy. Jonathan offered to take it back but I don't like sending food back. Ive had better medium well burgers at other Applebee's this one wasn't lime that. My wife ordered the oriental salad and that was very good. I should've ordered that instead of the burger, but I felt for a burger. However our waiter Jonathan was quite attentive.

A couple waiters have an attitude when it comes to the unlimited wings.They barely ask if I want more put the check and say you can ask for more and then ignore you after. They were under cooked and my other meal looked over cooked. The tall waiter with dreads should be promoted and raised he is awesome. Super friendly and patient. Food is meh & lemonade was bad. I ordered a ranch salad with crispy chicken. Tasted OK, but not too soon after I had an upset stomach & got sick. I ordered a strawberry lemonade, & had to send it back because it tasted awful. It had a bad sharp vinegar taste just like an old lemon that expired! My aunt tasted it too & cringed! Everyone got their lunch except my kid, & we waited patiently. I would first say that this Applebees can not cater well for big groups. We were a group of 9 and spent an hour waiting for our drinks and 2 hours for our food to be made. While being the only dark skinned patrons it felt very awkward to see other people after us being served. We then asked if we could just have our food as takeout. Our waitress had many tables she was handling by herself with no help. Again we waited 2 hours for them to bring back wrong orders and needing to change an order while the other food was brought out last minute. While we still were not compensated for a hours wasted in waiting. They also put wrong information in the bills. I would really like to warn people to think carefully before spending your money somewhere where everyone who works there seems miserable, yet they are handling your food.

This Applebees seems fine. My rating was more about going to the bar. There is nothing exciting about coming here. Bland. Maybe if they had outdoor seating I would rate higher otherwise it’s just another place to eat. I’m looking for a lively place in New Hyde to go to or somewhere near here since I need to stay near the area because I’m a rental Broker and I am renting a place nearby. Service was, I apologize to say, horrendous at this location. Upon entering, I was told to QR scan the menu with no instructions (1st time doing it honestly, but figured it out). I was not tended to for 15 minutes. Gave benefit of the doubt. After ordering, I waited approximately 25 minutes, just to be told that my order was somehow no longer on the computer, but had ended up at someone else's table! Unacceptable. Anyway, so waited another 10 minutes for the fix. Food arrived, was decent, and even left a minimal tip as waiter was at least apologetic, but I will probably never come back to this particular location again. The hallmark of any restaurant is service, pure and simple.

i overheard “Gabrielle L” talking to a group of young kids (who she was serving), about if they were gonna give a tip in cash, as she was not content with the tip given on the bill. It was evident she was not happy about the amount given, and was hounding the kids about it. This is not right. I understand that it is hard to be a waitress for a large party, but you shouldn’t harass customers about their tip amounts. That is truly not right. This has happened before at this Applebee’s too many times. Those kids gave tips. If you aren’t happy about it, don’t harass anyone about it.

Came here for my Aunt’s birthday, the host told us to wait, so we waited. Two other families walked in and they was served right away and we was still waiting. We felt Outrageous and very upset. Called them up, told them we are a party of 11. On the phone they said they don't usually accommodate but they will because we are a large party, and that we'd be able to be seated in a half hour. When we got there they were happy to accommodate our large party and the food was delicious.

She didn’t even check on us to see if everything was okay. I watched other tables get awesome service from other servers. She only realized when I started putting on my coat to leave. My friend and I went to Applebees at 4:45 on a Thursday before an islanders game. We had every intention of not being here for much more than an hour. We got our food pretty fast, however after we finished our food our waitress was not coming back to our table to finish our service. 25 minutes after we finished our food she came back and cleared our plates. I tried many things to get her attention but nothing was working. This Applebees has very poor service.

The server was kind, but the food was not. I ordered a medium cooked burger but was served a burger that was half cooked and half rare. I only realized how rare the burger was when I had eaten it half way through it because it was cooked medium-well on one side and rare on the other. I showed it to the server who brought it to the manager. She promptly came back and told me the manager said it was cooked to medium and that's what it looked like. The rare portion of the burger patty was beyond pink, it was very soft to the touch and you can see the white sinewy bits. I am not sure how the manager could confuse this for a medium burger, but they are entitled to their own opinion. I paid my bill and left. The waitress was great and very attentive to our needs during the entire meal. This whole review is solely about the quality of the food and how management was ineffective at handling the situation.

Applebee's had what I considered the very best crispy chicken sandwich I've ever had. I went yesterday and they changed the way they prepare it and it was inedible. They call it the crispy bacon ranch chicken sandwich and they changed it. I paid for a sandwich that I didn't even eat. They even screwed up my wife's hamburger. How do you screw up a burger? We would go in once maybe twice a month but after yesterday I wouldn't care if they went out of business. I loved that sandwich and they took it away from me. Goodbye forever.

The service was very slow, as if they didn’t have enough staff. The forks were not clean.

Me and my friends come here for half apps pretty often. Everytime, the service is not good. Food and water comes pretty quick but the worst part is when we’re done. The waiters never come back, me and my friends were chewing on ice cause we were so thirsty and no waiter was coming to refill our water. Dirty dishes left on our table never being cleaned. Had to eat our dessert with our dirty dishes still on the table. Im disappointed with the service.

The entree's terribly done. My girlfriend chicken and shrimp was cold, and they forgot the sauce on my ribs. We did let the waiter know but all they did was throw hot oil on the chicken and shrimp and BBQ sauce on the same ribs. The ribs were even more dry and the chicken and shrimp were just too oily. If they are not going to cook everything to order at least learn how to use a microwave.

We went for a family dinner on past Sunday night around 9pm 09/12/21, no bussers to clean tables. We waited for hostess to clean and he put EVERYTHING next to us on the very border of our booth (all dirty dishes an cups from the party before us). The service was horrible. We didn't even get the table set up properly with utensils and plates , we got appetizers and nothing to eat with. I had to ask. We ordered a sangria that didn't even had fruit on it. We got the drinks delivered, and they were slammed on the table but somebody else not the waiter. The waiter never checked back on us... This is not the Applebee's I always went to, its turning out bad. I know everybody is short staffed in the restaurant business but workers seemed not to care , or to do the extra work for the benefit of the costumers and business. This review is meant for the managers to check on the workers. We love Applebee's ❤ and we hope it gets better.

I was dining alone. Ate my app but went to the rest room to wash my hands before the entree came out spent less than 2 minutes away from my table, came back to the servers giving my table away to other guests then moved me to the corner, I didn’t stress too hard because accidents happens. Next I overheard the servers saying, “you gave the guys seat away the least you can do is….” My servers coworker responded by saying, “he will be alright that’s the poor man’s seat. Great experience for a person that just wanted to have a quick and simple dinner on a Friday night.

Terrible customer service,took 1 hour for appetizers. MASH POTATOES WERE COLD. Overall, horrible experience.

We just went today 6-27-25 this evening around 10:45 the front desk welcoming people (girls ) so polite and nice but the guy who came for order (his name Mike )extremely rude and very unprofessional we just report to the manager and left from the spot management should give some training to this kid of dumps to behave customers politely a suggestion

Bad experience few times! Very disappointed, never going back and never going to recommend to anyone!

Our waiter was friendly and kind. My main reason for the one star is the food. Even though it’s Applebees it was still odd to see what they served us instead of the chicken parm fettuccini. It seemed like the chicken was outsourced from KFC and the pasta was pene not fettuccini. Stick to the burgers and apps folks. I wanted to try something else this time around and I shouldn’t have. Lol.

The ribs were beautiful looking but bone dry. I mentioned this to server who said sorry w raised shoulders. The Mac and cheese was also dry and big super large pasta. The "patrone" margaritas didn't have hardly any alcohol in them, and we had six of them. The server, when she was t talking about her three kids, said the regulate the alcohol unlike other bars. The French fries were good and the combo platter was greasy and junk food. They are cheap, targeting blue collared people but the food is very poor quality. Never again save your money.

I want to express my deep disappointment after visiting this location last Friday with my friend. we were looking forward to a nice dining experience, but unfortunately, what we encountered was quite the opposite. From the start, the waiter’s attitude was extremely rude. When we asked for recommendations or some guidance on the food options, he showed no interest in helping us and gave vague, unhelpful responses. It felt like we were bothering him just by asking questions. Hoping for a better response, we informed the manager—but shockingly, his attitude was just as dismissive and unprofessional. At that point, it was clear that respectful customer service wasn’t a priority at this location. This experience left a very negative impression, and I feel the need to bring this to your attention. No customer should be treated this way, especially when visiting a well-known chain like Applebee’s. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and proper steps are taken to address the behavior of the staff involved. Thank you

Possibly the worst meal I've ever experienced here.not that busy yet the kitchen was snail slow. And somehow does not understand crispy fries. One hour and 3 plates later still cold and soggy. Never again. They need way better kitchen staff. I will say kudos to the lovely manager who dealt with the problem very professionally and sincere.

First, the walls are unsightly, with crayon marks covering almost all of them. Second, I purchased a gift card, but the waiter refused to let me use both the $50 and $10 cards. This experience made me feel that the restaurant’s standards have already declined.
