Great diner experience. Prices are very reasonable. On site parking, Very close to the exit at New Rochelle / The Pelham off of I-95.

What is interesting about this diner is that it is built and run by the DeRaffele Manufacturing Company. What's so interesting about that? I'm glad you asked. DeRaffele Manufacturing, founded in 1933, built these icon American diners across the country. And they were headquartered here in New Rochelle. The diner itself is retro, built in 2014 and close to the famous and much loved Thru-way Diner which was demolished in 2008. History aside, the diner serves up Americana at its best. It is still a great stop off of I-95. The menu is classic American food, drinks if you like and at an affordable price. The service is very good and the place is kept clean.

Nice new diner. I ordered steak and eggs and it was delirious. I couldn’t finish the steak. It literally filled me up. Literally. The coffee and orange juice were good as well. Well recommended but a bit too pricey.

When they closed the ThruWay Diner, I thought there was no other that could replace it, until now. Great food. Nice staff. Generous portions. Usually not a wait, but it can get pretty busy here. This area needed a diner. So glad the owners decided to build here!

Amazing food and drinks!! So far I’ve been here three times & they never disappoint :). I’ve had the Cobb salad, fries with gravy on the side & their Philly cheesesteak wrap; I’ve also had their mudslide & pineapple Hennessy colada!! all were phenomenal. Def recommend coming here.

A solid classic diner in New Rochelle. We had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and the corned beef hash, and both were exactly what you’d want from a diner breakfast—hearty, tasty, and satisfying. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the service was quick. Nothing fancy, just a reliable diner experience done right.

Stoped into the New Rochelle Diner on our trip up to Boston. The diner was clean, very spacious and had a nice atmosphere to it! Our server was fast and very friendly. Everyone in our party seemed to really enjoy their meal. I had the standard bacon and eggs for breakfast. No complaints!

This is exactly what a diner should be. I Had a burger and cake. This food here is so rich and so worth it. I came here for work and just so happened to discover this place. I enjoyed it so much I came back every day I was in town. I can’t imagine being in new Rochelle and stopping in this diner.

This place food is very good a big selection of food drinks and dessert however been there a few times and I noticed they give bread when you sit down but not to their black customers it is very disheartening

We have eaten here before when we visit our daughter, son in law, and granddaughter. The food is good, though my scrambled eggs were not well done. We had a nice lady wait our table, but she did not introduce herself. We will eat here again.

I ordered the Sweet and Spicy fried Calamari appetizer which was huge. It was deliciously breaded and fried but could have been drained more. I got the sauce on the side afraid it would be too spicy but it was so good. My waiter also bought marinara sauce which was very tasty too. It was a lot of calamari, so I had to take some away. My Gin & Tonic was great. I definitely recommend this diner.

My OG go-to spot after shopping at Costco. The place is an old school diner that boasts an extensive menu of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The portions are humongous, comforting and filling. Trust me, you won’t leave this place hungry. Don’t forget to get dessert to-go for that sweet tooth cravings!

Always great diner food, no matter what we order. The cheesecake slice is huge, easily big enough for 2 and very tasty, somewhat dense. The farmers omelette, chicken fingers (and burgers, eggs Benedict, everything..) is great. We always get seated right away no matter how busy they are and the service is fast.

I recently visited this diner as part of a company meeting. The waitress was very kind and attentive, unfortunately I did not get her name. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. I recommend the Belgian waffle with the fresh fruit for breakfast!

Came here on Saturday afternoon for a quick bite. Our server Yusuf was on point, fast, and professional. I ordered the Buffalo wings. It is not that hot but has a little spice to it and was cooked well and not dried out. This place has always been our go-to for afternoon quick bites. I have never had a bad meal here, and their breakfast is worth a shot as well.

It was my first time going there with my parents and my wife and we liked their food. They give you a giant portion when it comes to a meal and unlimited coffee. I like the environment and the waiter was super nice to us. I look forward to going back there again real soon

Food was good, a bit pricey but given the area that its in it makes sense. It is a metropolitan area outside of NYC, prices will be higher. Huge menu selection and bakery items to choose from. I had the Turkey triple decker with fries. The fries were nice and crispy. Only lacked some mayo on the club. Other than that it was excellent. Coleslaw comes with almost every menu option. It was good for a few bites but seemed to miss some sugar.

Great place. Average prices, great service. We had a big party on Saturday night, and while some delayed in their arrival, the server was kind and awesome and proceeded to take great care of us. We'll be going back. Many of us got burgers, different kinds, but they were all fantastic!

We enjoyed our first time visit to the New Rochelle Diner. It had all the charm shared by the finest of Vintage Diners in America. It is very large and separated into various areas and types of seating. We enjoyed prompt service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere from everyone.

One of the most chill spots in New Roc. Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is a hot spot. OMG, just know the menu is HUGE, like literally and figuratively as the options of food and drinks we have you stuck, as you decide what you want. Great views if you get the window seats and booths. Very family friendly and just such hardworking staff. I enjoyed myself here as I got lunch. The portions were huge, I had to take half of my meal home. So delicious. I will definitely be back. Parking is available, Bathrooms well kept. It’s literally down the block from Home Depot and Costco, so after all that hard work, come eat here. Strongly recommend and will definitely be back. It’s great to see this place still being a positive option for group gathering, and right there close to the i95, such a prime location. Kudos to creating a good experience.

Me and my girl came here on xmas day. The diner was jammed packed, but they did not keep anyone ne waiting. The coffee came quick as did our breakfast. Everything taste great. Excellent friendly service too! I left a well deserved 30% tip.

As soon as you walk in the service is friendly and professional. The roast chicken with stuffing was delicious. The stuffing had so much flavor and the chicken was juicy. I asked for the spaghetti and sauce as my side and the sauce was lightly sweet and seasoned very well. I wish I had room for dessert but the portion was big. Left happy and stuffed. Our server was friendly and was very attentive. I never had an empty cup in front of me.

This is an amazing diner. I have the bacon omelet with Mozzarella cheese and it was out of this world. It took all of no time to come out from the kitchen with a side of rye toast and a glass of tap water. I also love the fact that they were playing all oldies music such as Elvis Presley and The Monkees. And the fact that it's only a short bus ride away from the New Rochelle train station makes it even better. I will definitely come back here if I am ever back in New Rochelle.

I love going to this diner for breakfast and dinner. But I mostly go for breakfast. They have a lot of different options for food. The cappuccino is really good worth the money. I usually get the egg sandwich on a roll with bacon and a side order of sweet potato fries, delicious. The people who work there from the host, to the waitress and waiters are great, we are able to communicate with them no issues. They are all friendly. I recommend this diner 100%. My # 1 place to go too.

I've been coming to this place regularly for around 9 years now. I have come to this diner with large groups (20+ people), small groups at late hours, and even alone. I adore it. When I walk in, I am greeted with a handshake and a smile by the host. Waiters have come to know me and will wave, even if I'm not at a table they're serving. The diner is like a home away from home. Plus, the fries are absolutely delicious, as is the virgin strawberry daiquiri. Thank you, New Rochelle Diner. The prices are high, but the experience is a delight.

I got the coconut shrimp and baby back ribs and it was really good. I also had a henny colada and it was strong and very tasteful. I will be back for the pancakes

Came in for breakfast with mom. Always like trying new places. First time here, large parking lot so parking was easy. Seated quickly and greeted by server. Had the lamb chops and eggs which I enjoyed. Wasn’t cooked medium as I requested but it wasn’t bad being it was cooked well. Mom had meat lovers omelette. Good eats and hospitable staff. Service was quick and efficient. Food was served hot which is a plus. Lunch cocktails were a bit strong if you like a good pour.

Their Gyro is amazing! But some of their other food is a bit questionable. I don't know if they were in a rush one of the days we went but my boyfriend ordered Banana Walnut pancakes and they brought out regular pancakes with Walnuts and bananas sprinkled on top... quite disappointing

The food was very good. Taken away one star because Food Prices way to high , Jose men servant was not friendly ,never smiled , never came to ask if food was good or we need to order desert or something, never refilled our waters , have to wait 20 min for check(he did not bring it, I had to go to look for him!)

Good place to bring your family to grab something easy to eat. Coloring books provided for kids. Kids menu available as well. Service was really good, everyone was really nice and accommodating. Remember to pay at the register once you have your bill. Great experience.

First time here since it opened years back. Clean, quick service and my blueberry pancakes were perfect. It was very busy here on a Sunday with a short wait of 15 min for a booth.

Good food and the portions are a great deal for the money. Service is friendly and the coffee has always been piping hot for me.

I love the retro look and that it has parking! The food is eh, mediocre. Same as any other diner. However, it's the service and decor that elevates this place. Our server Sarra was AMAZING!! The coffee was on point!

Consistently good food. Service is normally very good. Sometimes u get a hit or miss server. They tend to be very busy so dont hold it against them. But mostly on point. Chili is FANTASTIC. burgers are great. Breakfast is always good. They do a really good steak and all in all a great diner

Nice place with good food, friendly staff and a nice view. I will recommend it for anybody who wants to have a nice meal. Good seating arrangements and you should definitely try their soup.

First time going to this spot. I was craving for pancakes 🥞 and random stop here. I looked at the menu too many to choose from and overwhelmed I knew the portion servings would be big. I was looking for chicken lemon francaise they don’t have it so went for a burger. I asked for medium rare the middle looks a bit too rare almost raw. The burger patty looks like it was frozen and cooked quickly. The coffee was good fresh pot. They have good parking spots and close to the highway.

Upon reaching there we got seated right away. The diner was nice and clean. Sanitized! Our waitress was super polite. She gave good service. The food was ok. The portion size was large. They overcooked my steak a little bit. I enjoyed my coffee. I would revisit this place.

This is the first time I am dining here on a weekday. The service was fast. I did not have to wait on a table. We had brunch and the food was good. There could be more chicken in the pasta. It was very sparse. Otherwise everything was excellent.

My father often took me to this diner back when I was a kid. I never knew how good it was until I grew up & came back as an adult. I often come here in the mornings after a long work week as a solo date & New Rochelle has always been my first & only thought for a good morning breakfast. The service as well as the food has remained consistent during every visit, & prices are good. Overall a very good diner that local & nearby residents should go to.

I've been here 3-4 times before. Good parking, across the street from Home Depot and near a few highways and gas stations. Service has always been great, they greet you at the door and check in on you in a timely fashion. The food is always how I like it. BE careful visiting on a Sunday morning, the place is packed and parking could be tricky. Overall, no complaints. I Tend to come here once a month I think

Classic diner experience. Burgers come with both fries and onion rings. I ordered the chili cheeseburger and asked them for extra chili on the burger, however they declined without an additional upcharge that was not insignificant. Creative drinks and drink specials. Just introduced baby back ribs.

Went to the New Rochelle diner after my lift with my boy at LA fitness at 1am. Glad that they were open. Food was amazing. My friend had the flank steak 😋 while I went for the double down cheeseburger 🍔 we also got mozzarella sticks, that were kinda too greasy 😅 🙃 😐 😬 😳. Very loud and busy. Overall food was fantastic. Server was kind and compassionate. Hope to go back soon🤞🏻

We stopped by the diner after church on Sunday, and our server Yira was amazing, super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. There were four of us, and we ordered drinks (Kunthekey Mule, Mimosa, Long Island Iced Tea, and apple juice) all were 10/10! For food, we had a full rack of ribs with home fries, an avocado burger with onion rings, an omelette with home fries, and waffles. The ribs and waffles were great! The only downsides were that the omelette was a bit overcooked and the avocado still had the store sticker on it. Overall, both sure if we’d come back but let’s see.

Went for a birthday celebration on a Sunday . Please GO early It gets extremely crowded , the parking lot is free but small. We were seated pretty quickly as a party of 8 but there was long wait for 2 person parties . Decor was an old diner feel , bet cozy .The food was decent , portions are big but it took a long time to come out and was luke warm . The waiter had so many tables he barely checked in. I would probably return but on a weekday for dinner and see what kind of experience that brings . Happy eating 🍽️😋

First time here for me and my friends. Chose this diner because we were going to Costco. Nice size parking lot and inside was big; a lot of seating and kinda private with their glass partitions. Got seated quickly even though it was a Sat. The server came quickly, and our food came out fast. I couldn't get over how many employees they had, and it flowed like a well-oiled machine. One of my favorite things on the menu was alcohol! Got a mudslide with my breakfast. A lot of food and everything was good! My friends who live in the Bronx will be coming back, and when I visit from Philly, so will I. It's one of my favorite diners that I have ever eaten at. Need to try those milkshakes.

Chef must have had an off day.. First time eating here and the food was mediocre at best.

I came here the second time We order the hungry man I have 2 eggs,2 small sausages and 3 french toasts The french toast is tasteless and so spongy For me it is too expensive compare to what i’ve got The coffee is like a cousin of coffee The place is big I think many people come here as regular guests The staffs are walking around busy But they forgot serving us water And it takings maybe 5 minutes or more to pour second coffee For us we wouldn’t be there again

Went in for a late night dinner with some friends, when we asked for drinks the server took our ID's and gave us an attitude. We were thrown off as we are all over the drinking age and we didn't get our IDs until like 10mins later! The food was okay, the milkshake was good.

The restroom was clean and did not smell like chemicals like most diner restrooms I've been to. But the food and service was mediocre, and the "dinner size" greek salad I ordered (from their menu) came out a larger, more expensive one, in which I did not finish by any means, and negotiated the final price with the manager. I appreciated that my server put ice in my matzo ball soup to cool it down, on my request, but the matzo balls themselves were too basic and not flavorful. The greek salad was supposed to have black olives but they were kalamata with pits, grape leaves and anchovies were present (not ordered), and the lettuce, tomatoes, cukes, and peppers were too abundant as were the feta blocks. The dressing provided did not taste like greek dressing. My chocolate milk was ok but took about 10 minutes to come out. The server had a lot of tables in his section. The table was comfortable and it looked like any condiment you could imagine was available. The menu was humongous.

We had issues with our order but didn't complain to the waitress because she didn't didn't understand. Not her fault. Our beer came out as bloody Mary's. Way more expensive than beer. Some other weird things happened. Never did see the check. We just got up and went to the counter to pay. It was a very odd and expensive experience.

Sweet Potato fries were good but the burger was underwhelming. Regular fries were OK only..especially for the price paid. Great service and clean and didn't have to wait. May try again as this is the only time we have been here. Could have just been what we ordered. Ample parking.

My family and friend’s family had late dinner around 11:45pm. We had beef burgers with sweet potatoes, avocado beef burgers with fries, and pancakes with maple syrup. The food was okay. For me, I didn’t like the burger and beef looks a bit dry and lack of flavor. The place is very spacious and clean. I like the restaurant’s ambiance and design. I think if we came during meal’s time the food will be different. But overall, all our orders were good.

Excellent food, but when delivered always missing something. First baked potato then mashed. Today no pickle or coleslaw with the grilled cheese. Whoever is packing needs to wake up.

The diner was big, spacious seating with great privacy where you sit at which I liked. The waiters were nice and helpful. Now the food.... I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and it was a big disappointment the chicken breast was superrr dried almost like a hard texture not juicy at all, the fries were regular fries that were okay nothing to be excited for, just added some salt and pepper for flavor. We also ordered some regular pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes that were very thick, but tasted good with some syrup. Paid $50 for 3 people which was not a bad price, but will probably not return due to the chicken disappointment.

The food was pretty good. I love bloody Marys which I know is an unpopular opinion but this was the worst one I've ever had. Very watery. But worst of all was the service, our server was rude, quiet, and hard to understand. He forgot something with my order which I explicitly asked for and then when it came out blamed it on me when I respectfully asked for it to be corrected. I don't write reviews often but i think it's criminal this place is rated so highly. I will say I only speak English and there were many Spanish speaking staff so perhaps the experience wouldn't be as bad if you speak Spanish.

Went here to eat for my birthday and honestly it wasn’t what I expected. I wanted to come here because I’ve always passed by it and it looked really nice like a vintage diner but that’s all it is, just a vintage looking diner from the outside & inside with no good food to show for it. Not extraordinary or anything, I’ve been to many diners and honestly this one wasn’t very appealing or outstanding to me in the slightest, probably the worst one, food wise I’ve ever been to. Food was bland & had no sort of flavor whatsoever. I don’t think I’d come back to this diner. Service was also alright, it took forever for us to get a server and be able to order as well. Prices are expensive as well for not very good food and small portions at that. I will not be returning nor recommending anyone to come here unless they want mid service. I thought it would be good since there were many cars outside so I thought this place was very known and good but honestly no.

Today November 30th 2021, I found not one strand of hair in my food but multiple strands of short strands of hair in my food and underneath my coffee cup. I’ve come to this Diner a few times out of convenience before shopping at Costco Wholesale store in the mornings. I am Never going to eat at this Diner again. The manager Mr.Ju or June did not give the best response when told that there is hair in my food. He gave me a “blank stare” as if he could care less about customers finding hair in their food!!! Please avoid eating at this Diner the waiters and waitress’s DO NOT WHERE HAIRNETS. This is a NEW YORK STATE LAW for all food industry companies. Save yourself from becoming ill by the uncleanliness of this Diner!!! Enjoy food anywhere else but this establishment!!!

High prices with very low quality food. My wife's avocado toast was very bad. The avocado was near black and it's Is unacceptable that they would even serve something that clearly wasn't suitable for consumption. Moreover the The salmon that they use is extremely salty to the point that it's nearly unedible, Which is a shame because the eggs were actually really nice. There were also a lot of cost cutting on their part in regards to the pancake. For example they did not bother to cook in the chocolate Chips and instead just poured it all over along with the bananas which were sort of dry. The coffee cups were Is basically tequila shot size andAnd syrup was not in a jar but these tiny flis tiny flimsy packets. All in all I spent about $70 to be honest I spend less for much more interesting menu choices and higher quality food.
