Been to a lot of Dos Toros but this one tops em all for sure. Had to ask for their names bcuz I had to write this review bcuz these girls were on point! Kaiya was on top of things like a boss, making sure things were running smoothly and getting them checked out quick, while Yuli pumping bowls & wraps like a machine! Great workers with an even better attitude. Will come here from now on.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at Dos Toros! I stopped by recently and was greeted by Carolin, who completely elevated the visit. She’s got that perfect mix of friendliness, speed, and genuine care that makes you feel like a regular from the first moment. The food was as great as always—fresh, flavorful, perfectly portioned—but Carolin’s energy made the whole vibe even better. She noticed small details, made great recommendations, and kept everything moving smoothly even though it was busy. You can tell she takes real pride in what she does.

I come here to grab lunch at least once a week. The food and excellent service are always consistent despite it being incredibly busy with the line out the door. Edwin and Carol are the best! They are super friendly and always have the line moving quickly and efficiently. I never wait in line more than 5 mins. You can never go wrong at Dos Toros on 52nd and 6th!

Dos Toros is like a way better version of Anna's Taqueria for those of you from the Boston area. Burritos are big and delicious plus they have two vegetarian options (brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes). Everyone that works there was super friendly and patient and the restaurant was clean. I could probably eat here every day.

Dos Toros has always been my quick go-to whenever I’m craving Mexican food. The service from the staff—many of whom I’ve seen for years—has remained consistently friendly. They’re super quick with preparing orders, and Elena at the cashier is always wonderful, greeting everyone with a smile and so much grace. She really makes my experience every time.

Love this place. Food is great. The staff is super nice and friendly and the environment is very accommodating and chilled. Just a feedback for all locations: I stop ordering chips and shredded cheese because I feel they should use tong instead of the hands. Gloves are used of course, but they touch other items while prepping that plate, therefore using a utensils like used for all the other items is more hygienic.

I recently dined in at Dos Toros Taqueria with a group of friends, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Everything from the bowls to the tacos tasted made-to-order and well seasoned. What really made our visit memorable was the service. We were served by staff , who made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in. They were warm, patient, and incredibly accommodating with all of our requests. They even helped us with the menu, made sure our orders were exactly how we wanted them, and genuinely added to the positive atmosphere of our meal. I was a first-time customer today and was very impressed. The service was great from start to finish. The young lady who took my order demonstrated remarkable patience and helpfulness while I made my selection. Similarly, the young lady behind the register was exceptionally pleasant. The restaurant was clean and the food options looked appetizing and were well stocked. I decided to try tacos and they were delicious, well-seasoned and fresh. I will definitely be a retuning customer.

This was a good spot for lunch for my wife and I while waiting for our show to start at nearby Radio City Music Hall. The food was good, not great, and it was definitely filling. I got a bowl, and my wife got a burrito, and both were made quickly, right in front of us. We enjoyed our stop here!

I ordered one pollo asado quesadilla and the person behind the counter told me that it would take a few minutes to cook so I can stand to the side. She apologized for the wait, I said it was fine. Then 10 mins later she called me back up after someone on the staff reminded her, and I reiterated that I wanted the pollo asado, and she said oh we’re out of that… so I asked what was I waiting for the past 10 minutes? And she didn’t specify and just said sorry and asked if I wanted something else. So I asked for another mild chicken, and she said oh year we have that but we’re out of all chicken for the day so we have steak and pork. And I said… why didn’t you tell me that when I ordered in the beginning? And she said she didn’t remember if she took my order or not… and I reminded her she was the only person working behind the counter and indeed she took my order. Frustratingly I got the steak, and got the smallest scoop of meat ever. So I asked for me and she said oh we’re out of that now. And then the cook/staff member jumped in saying they just cooked a new batch and we’re just cutting it. So I said I would wait for that batch. So the woman gave me a full scoop of the fresh steak, and then charged me extra for double protein. I was so mad I just paid and left. Ridiculous.

I give it two stars! Because some servers act all greedy with the protein. It was 4:30pm in the afternoon and I ordered a bowl and a burrito. BRIANNA who was my server was slick and gave me mad rice and half a spoonful of chicken. As I recall, all ingredients for a bowl or burrito or even a taco needs to be proportion equally. Barely no chicken for my burrito And when I asked for more she rolled her eyes. When I was about to pay , I told her I worked at the hospital and she asked to see my batch. She didnt believe me and went to ask the guy who seen me before if its true. Her attitude was wild nasty. Her attitude is Bad for business and she should be more professional when speaking to someone .she needs to look at them in their eyes and speak up. Okay BRIANNA. Im tired of the servers being cheap with the protein. I pay money to eat well. Its not cool to cheap me off with grains like rice and veggies.

The menu was confusing about the prices, you get the bowl and the bowl assadomyou need to be careful. Then you have to pay more. The taste was for me so artificial. No feeling of a local taste or a combination. For a fast food once you can try.

Menu and staff make prices impossible to understand prior to choosing. The only prices for the main dishes, state pricing for each protein, but strangely does not clarify what you’re actually buying. For example, I want tacos. I asked the lady for the Carne Asada, which said $13.99. She asked me well how many tacos do you want? I said, however, many come with the $13.99 price. I thought it was weird. She was asking me if I’m ordering from their menu and their price. I’m certainly not expecting to get one taco for $13.99. Then she tells me the guac is extra. I said OK but that doesn’t answer my question. How many tacos do I get for $13.99 she just starts making me two tacos so I imagine OK it must come with two then she asked me what I want on it and I said just add whatever comes with a $13.99 price she starts adding everything even guacamole. I said wait a minute I thought guac was extra. She said no I said OK then great had the guacamole. When we get to the register, I find two up charges one for guacamole and another one for something else totaling almost 5 dollars. When I pointed out the price discrepancy I was told oh well guacamole extra. People, you can’t make this stuff up. They really need to get it together and make it clear what their charges are because it seems like it’s purposefully confusing so they could make more money. Please do better. I won’t be back.

Criminally small portions. Server took a scoop of each bowl component, then shook out 1/3, maintaining eye contact the entire time. Bowl is 60% full (see pictures), I have never been so demoralized in my life.
