Their dry pepper chicken is the best. They serve rice along with it so you don't have to order an additional portion of rice.
Some of the best Chinese in NYC. The pork buns are a masterpiece. We all loved everything. Service can be slow, but it’s very friendly. Small place, which adds to the atmosphere.
Great food, very large portions almost family style if anything! Highly recommend the house lo mein and the Kung pow chicken, but a lot of people tell me about the garlic style with beef or chicken! This is my fourth time coming, and I will continue to come the best Chinese restaurant I’ve had in the city
Amazing food and wonderful staff. Claudio, Jose and Jessica were the servers, and they were so kind and attentive, kept checking on us, they were warm and friendly, and had a smile on their faces, the Restaurant and restroom were very clean and well maintained. Food was delicious and Customer Service. Excellent! I highly recommend this place for a delicious dinner. We loved the kung pao chicken and the garlic chicken yummmm
Great food different flavor profiles fast services and good drinks! Went in on a Wednesday night and they were open until midnight. Enjoyed Scallion Shrimp and an Espresso Martini! Staff was very nice and accommodating was not rushed at all. Will be coming back again soon :).
Had a beautiful dinner last night with a bunch of friends at a huge round table in the back of this restaurant. The service was impeccable, all the food came out super quickly, and they were super attentive. We had a ton of great dishes, ranging from dumplings to fish to chicken, you name it. And very affordable too! We will definitely be back here again soon thanks for a great experience.
Awesome Chinese restaurant, I am from the SF Bay Area and my bar for Chinese food is very very high. The service was decent and is covid safe. We were at first seated in an inconvenient spot but when a better spot opened up they moved us, nice of them. For appetizers we got the scallion pancakes and crispy cucumbers - I personally didn’t care for the cucumbers but my fellow diners loved it. The pancakes were excellent, the base was fluffy, leavened and went down easily. They provided hot sauce and crushed peppers if you want to juice it up, which we did. For entrees I got the garlic sauce chicken, vegetable fried rice (I asked for without egg). The others got Dan Dan noodles and hot and sour shrimp. My chicken was great loved the sauce and the vegetables. The other diners loved the noodles and shrimp. The fried rice was particularly very good - some secret sauce for sure 😀. We pretty much wiped the dishes clean. Highly recommend.
I LOVE this place! My husband and I had to come into the city for an appointment, and even though it was 37 degrees outside (and we had to sit outside due to the COVID-19 indoor dining ban), we had an incredible experience. They have heat lamps set up - we kept our jackets on and it was fine. The food came out super hot, and was hot throughout the time we were eating.

Solid Chinese food with laid back service. The place is very big and great for large groups. They have a huge menu along with a good selection of drinks as well as specials. The portions are a good size and are easy to share.
After I saw Zimmerman and Estelle Choi from Heat eaters I thought this would be really good. Well it was ok, nothing more then that. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Normala appetizers comes first be we got one entree first and then all of the rest at same time. It is ok, its Chinese food and we like to share anyway. We had wonton and dumplings, and those dumplings was really good. Wonton was ok. The salt and peppar shrimps was really good to. But the Dan Dan noodles was really a disapointment. If I lived here then I could go back, but not worth a trip over it.
Have visited this particular location twice now and have also gone to their UWS location. I particularly enjoyed the wontons in chili oil. The best dish on their menu. The Dan Dan noodles were also great but needed spice so we added chili oil to them. The crab rangoons were unfortunately too sweet for me. I’ll definitely go back and try other options next time!
We ordered take out from Han Dynasty and we were very pleased with the food. The taste is authentic sichuan and depending on your spice tolerance can go from mild to very spicy. We ordered everything with a “medium” spice and it was very good. The dumpling in chilli oil along with the Sichuan chicken with hot peppers were my personal favorite.
I like the food here, spicy, well balanced and somewhat authentic. Everything was reasonably priced. Food quality has been consistent for the last eight years, and the interior decoration was kept to date. Love the veggie options. If you are a vegetarian or a vegan, you can have a feast here!
Pros: food was good! Veggie dumplings, garlic sauce style chicken, kung pao shrimp (I added broccoli to mine), flash fried chicken, and Dan Dan noodles. I like the portions of the dishes. I had the hibiscus margarita, it was good. Cons: I observed everyone else getting their dan dan noodles stirred when it arrived to their table except ours 🤔, I didn’t like them that much. They were ok, not nasty, I just wouldn’t order them again. There was a $4 upcharge for adding broccoli to my kung pao chicken, no problem with that but they gave me the tiniest and smallest amount of broccoli. It was like none was even adding. Would I come back? …. Heck yeah !!!! Those darn chicken wings 🤤🤤🤤

I ordered the Kung Po chicken it was swimming in oil and the chicken was over fried. Don't understand the positive reviews.

Food is amazing! Would give 5 stars if they changed the music, which is so painfully cheesy, it negatively impacts the interior dining experience.

We came back here from London, England having first visited back in May 2019. The food was great as last time and we has 3 good dishes plus a couple of starters. Unfortunately half was through our …
The service was good, won't/cant complain on that. The food felt lack luster and was too readily available once ordered for me to comfortably say anything negative but that taste was just not it. Its like if a friend started making something for the first time and you knew it had potential. It was just satisfactory enough.
Food is okay, but it’s super oily. I tasted more oil than flavor. I enjoyed the crab rangoons and the crab lollipop sticks. The chicken wings could have been cooked a little more. I think the taste could be improved overall. Less oil in the dishes would have made the food more enjoyable.

Don't come here if you're looking for authentic Sichuan cuisine. You'd 100% find more and better tasting options in Flushing or Chinatown. The level 7 "spicy" barely had any spice. The flavor on the …
Where to start for this take-out order.\nFried rice was white rice with small bits of vegetable - never saw a wok - 0% flavor.\nShould be embarassed to charge for this.\nKung Pow chicken was fried …
I came because of the gluten free menu, but I would not recommend for celiacs. I reacted very strongly the next day despite confirming with the server that I had a “severe allergy” and that they would take precautions against cross contact.
I’ve eaten at Han Dynasty before and generally enjoyed it, but last night’s experience was genuinely disappointing. My partner ordered fried rice with extra egg and steak, and midway through the meal we found a small metal wire scouring pad ringlet in the food. The kind used to scrub pans. Obviously alarming. We stayed calm and didn’t make a scene. We simply asked if we could have a replacement plate. The staff and manager were apologetic, and a new dish was brought out. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged for the replacement dish in full. No comp. No discount. No acknowledgment beyond the initial apology — despite the manager and kitchen staff being fully aware of what had happened. Mistakes happen in busy kitchens. What matters is how they’re handled. Finding metal in food is a serious issue, and charging the customer for the replacement afterward felt careless and dismissive. We didn’t argue in the moment, but we left feeling unsettled and disappointed. Sharing this so others can make informed choices — and hopefully so management rethinks how situations like this are handled going forward.
MAJOR FOOD SAFETY ISSUES 5 Months Later Update: 5 months since my original review, I wanted to provide an update on how this establishment clearly has no regard for their customers safety. I am adding another photo from this morning that shows vegetables openly placed on the sidewalk, where dogs poop/pee everyday. I also took a photo of the van that has the Han Dynasty name on it to dispute the restaurant’s response below that this was a food vendor and not their own employees. I will be filing another health complaint with the city. DO NOT EAT HERE! - Before sharing what I experienced this morning, it’s important to note that Han Dynasty has had a health code grade pending for quite some time (the Rating Pending sign is visible in their window, as per the law) and that alone should make anyone want to stay away. This morning, I observed their staff unloading vegetables in filthy crates from a filthy van. The handtruck got caught on the curb and spilled the vegetables all over the sidewalk and into the dirt out front. This is the exact location where many of us walk our dogs. The staff proceeded to quickly package the food back up into the crates and wheel it into the restaurant. I went up to them and said, “I saw what just happened - you cannot possibly serve this to your customers.” They replied by saying, “WE WASH!” and then proceeded to ignore me while they moved the crates into their filty basement. Aside from this episode, the crates themselves have holes all around them and should not be stored in an underground cellar where rats and roaches are known to live. I reported this as a health code violation.
