Love Coffee

This place makes great sandwiches and coffee at a great price! I go on my lunch break and have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend for a quick bite.

Wish I could give more stars!!! The food here is DELISH.. granted sometimes delivery can be messed up but that’s not on them it’s on transportation!!! Great little cafe!! I wish I had time to take photos but it’s to tasty to waste time with photos!! Thanks guys xx

The world needs more places like this! However they need avocado toast on their menu lol. Very small, but good coffee and good food for the right price.

The love cafe is one of the best spots in East Harlem. Jay and Pat really make the place special, and you can’t find a thing there that doesn’t taste great.

Very busy at lunch time, your food may take a minute more. Very good and super reasonable prices. The guys running the place were very friendly.

The owner J, from my neighborhood in the Bronx, runs a fun place. Local atmosphere and great food. Oat milk was available, sandwiches were customizable, and food was prepared fast and with a smile. We will be back!

Love is right! They're so nice and I don’t know what they put in the homefries, but I want to eat a bucket of them. The food is always hot and delicious, and the people who work here are nice. I have no problems sitting here by myself either, at the cute tables in the back or at the counter.

Love cafe is a jewel in Spanish Harlem. It is my first time there, and From the minute you step in the door it feels like home. The food is so fresh,and the coffee is great. Everyone there is so honestly pleasant. I really want to give It ten stars. Drop by check it out for your self . You will enjoy the visit, the food and the people.

Great coffee. Nice and strong and smooth. Had French toast with eggs and bacon. French toast was hearty with the perfect dusting of cinnamon. The staff was friendly, welcoming and polite. We really enjoyed the food and experience.

They are the heart of this neighborhood. Very professional staff. Clean establishment. Delicious and fresh food. Big portions, you won't leave hungry. Best lattes that I've ever had, and I've had many! If I can rate them higher, I would. I recommend this cafe.

The atmosphere is a bit dated but the food was delicious and I appreciated the prompt service and accommodation. And when I say dated, I don’t say that in a bad way. You can just tell they haven’t made any updates to the furniture and appearance. I would still come back here because my visit was very pleasant. I would also recommend the waffle. It was fluffy, warm and tasty. The turkey bacon was a bit salty but I enjoyed my side of eggs as well. Definitely a spot you should come to if you want a quick meal and you’re in the neighborhood.

I'm in love with the love cafe! It really has been a long time since I've ate out and appreciated the entire experience. The service was phenomenal and personable. You can tell they really care about their customers, they know some by name and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need for the meal. I got the e love platter and it was delicious and packed with proteins. This is the kind of place that when you move to you wish is just around the corner so you can go there all the time. Amazing 👌

They need to accept credit cards. The money they spend on the ATM they should use to upgrade to accept cards not sure of the cost but it would be more convenient for customers. Had breakfast platter it was okay way too pricey, IHOP you will get better and more for less money ,I could have made this at home better, they had no home fries and gave quarter piece of avocado as substitute. Was either that or fries. The people were nice and welcoming at least.

Not really worth delivery prices for 'in the neighborhood' breakfast. I recommend ordering Jimbo's instead as Love Cafe gives you half the amount of food and costs more. Today, my 'toast' was kind of warm, but wasn't actually toasted. Just soft slightly warm bread.

My friend had a great bacon cheeseburger and fries.. . But the place was dirty and I got up from the table and my white dress was ruined. So a four for the food, and a - 3 because the bathroom was disgusting too.

None of the staff wear masks. Which is just disrespectful, at least pretend to care about your customers and put one on when customers walk in! They’re preparing food and drink and think it’s ok to not wear a mask! To make it worse the coffee was just bad, it was scalding hot and bland, threw most of it away.

Absolutely everything over priced and the owner is incredibly rude and disrespectful. The sandwiches are never gonna get you what your money is worth because they’re stingy with their portions and predatory with the prices. A water bottle being a dollar fifty right in front of a high school where there are kids just trying to get a bite to eat where there aren’t a lot of affordable places is ridiculous. I’m an alumni from the highschool in front of this place and throughout my four years there I’ve experienced the owners disrespectful manner and heard stories of him looking and treating the female students of MCSM in completely inappropriate ways. Don’t know how the place has such ratings. Probably relies on the cops that come in in the mornings for business. Attached is one of an experience a student had at this cafe. Hope it closes down.

My fiance's aunts name is Angie order placed today terrible via uber empanada drenched in old oil old chickeninsidea latte is bad our fur baby ate a piece of salami and decided she didn't want to bother with it and for a egg and cheese to not be good and have no flavor barley any bell pepper is real bad you guys were great years back so I know you have potiental but your rushing the food and its not quality real bad now never again uber only wanted to refund 12 with several photos sent unexceptable and everything from this order was thrown out terrible do not waste your $$$ we should be getting a full entire refund as none of your items are edible sad it's a family business and that's the inedible mess that could have made us sick

I hate to leave a bad review for a local spot like this but wow have things changed! I almost never leave reviews but i felt the need to share this with the business. I’ve lived in the area for almost 10years now and used to frequent love cafe for their tasty breakfast food and delicious ice coffee but I’m in total shock with my recent visit. Granted, i haven’t been here in a couple of years but the ice coffee tastes nothing like it used to. The sausage egg and cheese that i ordered was gross! Tasted like old cooking oil and stale sausage and the Belgium Waffles with “The Works” was basically a chocolate soup with a waffle inside which didn’t even have Nutella like it used to. Seems like there’s a different chef cooking the food. The service is still top notch and the atmosphere hasn’t changed. This is not a negative review on the establishment itself but more a review on the food. Maybe this was just a one-off experience because The Love Cafe has always been a local favorite.

This did neither. The french toast was basic and almost burnt. I added my own toppings of powdered sugar and fruit compote since that is what french toast usually offers. The sausage was a smashed blob of meat. The fried chicken clearly had been frozen as its texture reflected that and the waffles were rubbery. At a price point of $18 the chicken should be freshly fried and if sausage is an additional $4 it should warrant that. Because we live in the neighborhood I decided to make my own eggs as they would have been another $4. I’m glad I did as that was the only thing I ate. I’m sure their other items are better as the reviews claim as much but this was just so disappointing that I don’t know if I would give them a second chance considering it’s a financial risk.
