Service and atmosphere was great. I ordered Mongolian beef and lo mein. Keith is an excellent server. My rating for the food is 2 stars because the beef was dry and lo mein was as well. I liked the flavor only for the price, in my opinion they need a new chef. My girl Stormy went with me 😃
This was my first time visiting, and I was truly impressed from the moment I walked in. Beth and Daja greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. They introduced me to Alex at the bar, who crafted a refreshing Sunrise cocktail that was out of this world. I started with the pork dumplings appetizer—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a great way to kick off the meal. For my entrée, I had the Mongolian Trio Platter over white rice, featuring chicken, steak, and shrimp—all seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. I finished with a slice of key lime pie that was absolutely delicious. Overall, a 10/10 experience. The staff, atmosphere, and food were all exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning
My girlfriend and I did an impromptu birthday lunch! Keith, our waiter, was amazing! He catered to all of our particular needs, with enthusiasm and professionalism. And he brought out dessert with a big sparkling candle; they sang and she rang the gong!! We had a blast. It was very celebratory and she was ecstastic. Thanks Keith! See you next time!
Jesse was amazing ! He made my experience wonderful, food was great I had sesame chicken and fried rice it was perfect . Also my lychee martinis were bomb ! I would definitely come back to this location again .
I loved my recent experience at P.F. Chang’s. Jesse was a great server! His energy is so contagious and positive and inspiring. My food was lovely too! Will definitely be back.
The food was delicious and everything was really good. The service was excellent as well — Jessy was very friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. Great service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Service was great and fast. Alex the bartender made sure I had a great experience, very nice person, he made me a drink that was very flavorful that I enjoyed 🍓❤️food was great, and the manager made sure the guest were doing okay. Def recommend stopping by. 💖
I was at this Union Square location and served by Michael. He welcomed me as soon as I sat down. He came back later, explained the menu and then helped me to scrutinize it. He brought me water and told me to let him know whenever I was ready to order. I really appreciated that because as I am an experienced diner, PF Chang’s menu was new to me. Michael came back, I ordered my lunch, Mongolian beef with a side of a hot and sour soup. I also ordered a glass of wine. Michael told me PF C has a special 1/2 price of a bottle of wine. That saved me money but I was taken aback how nice and thoughtful Michael was. Mongolian beef was really tasty. The H&S soup was ok. All in all, the meal was delicious. Service was exceptional. Atmosphere was excellent. I would come back again. I higher recommend it. Sit in Michael’s station.
This restaurant has more of a luxury Asian vibe with an amazing ambiance and excellent friendly service. Big portions, delicious flavor, and great drinks. Everything here is satisfying and full of flavor.
Jesse was a great service, very hospitable. The food as always was solid and delicious. Definitely worth a visit! The interior is looking a little worn though - and am sad they took out the tree!
Me and my partner came here for dinner before they closed, the service was the fastest i think I’ve ever experienced, waiter and waitress were really nice. California roll was absolutely to die for. The orange chicken was the best I’ve had and fried rice was fantastic. 10/10 experience I recommend. It is on the expensive side but I still think it’s worth it. If you have the money to go, don’t waste your time thinking about it.
Came to P.F. Chang's randomly and it truly turned out to be one of the best possible outcomes I have had in a while. Great atmosphere, amazing food and presentation, drinks were spot on and delightful, and the kind gesture to sing my friend a "Happy Birthday" was the icing on the cake. Our server Melissa was exceptional. What an amazing waitress. Was kind and welcoming, wonderful knowledge of the menu and great recommendations. P.F. has now been added to our rotation of upcoming restaurants in the future. Thank once again for such a memorable moment.
Amazing Solo Experience at P.F. Chang’s I’ve been to this P.F. Chang’s before, but today I came alone—and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. I ordered the orange chicken and a strawberry margarita, and everything was delicious. What made it even better was how comfortable and welcomed I felt. I didn’t even feel like I was dining alone because the staff was so attentive and friendly. Huge shoutout to Q, Lexus and Danny—they were amazing the entire time. They checked in just the right amount, made great recommendations, and genuinely made the experience feel special. Definitely recommending this location to anyone, whether you’re coming with friends or solo. I’ll be back for sure!
Came here for a Friday afternoon lunch and had an amazing dining experience. My server, Keith, was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious, and I really appreciated the calm atmosphere of this location. Would definitely come again!
I throughly enjoyed my experience at this P F Chang's in Union Square area. It had very nice atmosphere and a warm reception upon entering the establishment. Our server Lexis was very pleasant and gave us great customer service.I had the Mongolian Tofu with brown rice....Chefs kiss. The food was DEEEEEEEEEEELIOUS!!!! I love when they are attentive. I definitely give them a 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!
It was freezing outside to get in. It be nice if there were some heaters outside or something but everyone is use to the cold so you may just need to adapt. The workers there are nice and get you in as people leave. Prepare to overpay for Nutella pastries but its about the experience. The custom label Nutella are cool especially if youre trying to be funny. I think they go with it as long as its appropriate. I asked about characters idr the exact number but could be between 10-15 no spaces.
Omg … I’m pretty sure I died and went to heaven!! amazing crepes and all things Nutella! If you love Nutella- this is a must. I had an espresso with all the Nutella and hazelnut fixings…. And hubby got some custom crepes. We had just eaten - so there wasn’t room for much more in our tummies …. But omg I wanted one do everything!
Never thought I could have enough Nutella, but this place really tests that theory. Love the whole concept, it’s fun, cute, and such an easy stop if you’re wandering around the area. We ended up going twice in one week because it was so fun. The crepe and the chia hemp seed pudding were favorites. Definitely worth a visit!
We came here completely by coincidence — we didn’t even know this place existed — and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. After reading some of the previous reviews (not to disagree with anyone), I can honestly say this is a place you must experience. If you love Nutella or chocolate, it’s absolutely spectacular. Yes, it gets crowded, but that only shows how popular it is. The service was very good, at least for us, and we left completely satisfied. A delicious experience that truly deserves five stars.
I recently visited Nutella Cafe Chicago and have to say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located right on Michigan Ave, the café has an instantly inviting atmosphere—bright, modern and full of charm. From the moment I walked in, the team behind the counter greeted us with warm and friendly service. They were patient in explaining the menu and made helpful suggestions based on what we were in the mood for. Even though the place was busy (it’s in a prime downtown spot, after all), the staff kept things moving smoothly. As for the food – absolutely delicious. We ordered a crepe drizzled generously with Nutella and fresh berries, and the flavor balance was just right: rich, chocolaty hazelnut meets gentle freshness from fruit. Others in our party loved the waffles and the specialty Nutella-infused coffee drinks. The Nutella latte (or whatever the hazelnut-chocolate twist was) stood out — bold flavor, smooth finish
We loved this stop while we were exploring downtown Chicago! It was so delightful and delicious! We stopped by in the middle of the day when there happened to be no line. They were out of the personalized jars for the day. But we loved it! Such a nice treat! Would highly recommend! Everything on their menu that people were ordering looked delicious! We ordered the banana bread and I don't remember what drink. We asked them what drink was popular and we ordered it. Such a great stop we wanted to go back!
Excellent! Everything that you may order will be prepared with excellence. I don’t need to explain how good it is, you know that Nutella is awesome. Usually the line to get in is long, but I encourage you to be the early bird and arrive there minutes before it opens, that’s what I did, then you order a coffee and all your “sleepy mood” will go away.
I went to Nutella Coffee and the experience was amazing. I ordered a crepe with Nutella, strawberries, and cream, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I also tried a crème brûlée that was spectacular — perfectly made with a crunchy top and soft inside. Great service and a perfect spot to enjoy something sweet and special. Highly recommended!
The service was great. The backgrounds music was not too loud so you can easily carry a conversation. I had the espresso gourmet and if I live near the area I would definitely have it a few times a week. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area. The price point is pretty good as well.
the food was good but could be better, however, the service was AMAZING! everyone was so attentive and kind. our server Angie was fantastic! constantly checked on us and made sure we were well taken care of. will def come back and try other dishes and make sure everyone knows about Angie :)
We dined at P.F. Chang's in January and had the pleasure of being served by Lexus, who truly made our experience exceptional! As a picky eater, I appreciated her patience and attentive listening. Her recommendations were spot on, and I enjoyed trying new dishes thanks to her guidance. While the food was decent, Lexus's welcoming personality and outstanding service made our evening memorable. We'll definitely return, and I look forward to being served by her again!
The food is good no doubt the problem is with service and a small place. I am sure they can improve it. You must definitely try the pan cakes and waffle. If any person is not sure what to eat then this are the 2 best options. Never go for fruit plate it has rotten fruits and not upto the mark.
I stopped into the Nutella store to pick up a personalized bottle of Nutella for my daughter. I didn’t actually eat the food, but it smelled delicious. I wasn’t greeted when I came into the store and I had to track someone down to purchase a personalized bottle, but there were plenty of people working so it wasn’t that difficult. The environment was really great. The color and design scheme felt on brand with a European restaurant and the Nutella Ferrero brand. Personalizing a bottle of 13 ounce Nutella was around nine dollars post tax. Be careful if you’re only flying with a carry-on as Nutella is considered a liquid or spreadable item and can’t be in your carry-on.
Nutella Cafe Chicago — If you're a Nutella fan, this place is practically a sweet tooth's paradise: waffles, crepes, and desserts with chocolate-hazelnut spread really set the mood. The atmosphere is cozy and festive, but during peak hours you often have to wait in line—a downside, especially if you just want dessert. Overall, it's a good place for a light, sweet treat; I recommend it for those with a sweet tooth.
We visited the Nutella Café, and while it’s a fun concept, the experience has some drawbacks. There’s often a line at the entrance, and the wait can get noticeably long. Seating is limited, so even after getting inside, finding a comfortable spot isn’t guaranteed. The desserts are enjoyable but not extraordinary; they don’t quite live up to the hype. Overall, it’s a nice stop if you’re a Nutella fan, but the long wait and limited space make it less compelling than expected.
Cute little store, well-placed in Chicago. Inside decorations and overall look are the main highlights of the place. The drinks we got were definitely overpriced for tourists and didn't taste like Nutella. In fact, they didn't taste good at all. Disappointed by the mocha and the hot chocolate we received. We had to wait in line for 20 minutes in the cold, and all the tables were taken inside. We shouldn't have been there during the weekend, hard to have fun when it's that overcrowded.
Crepe was decently nice. Nutella gelato was creamy delightful. Ordered regular sized macchiato which was terrible it barely had milk, it was like a little spit of milk. It was also only like a quarter of the cup full. Don’t recommend coffee there. Also they made me wait a while outside but the line wasn’t even that bad inside. Place was nice and clean though, that’s a positive.
For a place with such a pretty ambiance and somewhat high prices, the food and service were overall disappointing. When we first walked into the restaurant, we were excited to try everything - but the hostess didn’t even acknowledge us. She was on the phone, but she could’ve at least glanced over or nodded to let us know she saw us. Instead, we stood there awkwardly until what seemed to be a bartender came over and silently pointed at seats. No greeting, no “hi,” no welcome, not even a smile. It was a strange first impression, but we were hungry, so we brushed it off. The menu felt a bit all over the place. The wine glasses were dirty, unpolished, and had visible stains. We ordered the miso lobster dumplings, which came out lukewarm - not even close to hot. The sauce was good, but the dumplings themselves lacked flavor and were mushy. For a twenty-dollar appetizer, we expected much better. My girlfriend ordered a Caesar salad with salmon, and while the salad tasted good, the salmon was dry. It was also unclear on the menu how much the salmon upcharge was. We also tried the crab wontons and the Mongolian beef with lo mein. Every single dish came out lukewarm (Hence why we thought everything was frozen), and the funny part is that we sent the crab wontons back because of an issue, and when they returned, they were actually hotter than when we first got them. The presentation on the dishes was nice, though. As for service, we were never given water, and when we finally asked, it took a while. The server offered me a refill on my Coke and brought it quickly, but never checked in with my girlfriend about anything. He was kind, just seemed very laid-back and a bit slow but other than that we enjoyed his service. I also asked for a dinner menu and never received it. And this wasn’t during a rush; the place was slow when we arrived at 3 p.m. We also really enjoyed the chocolate souffle, it was really yummy a good choice for dessert. We might give it another shot in the future, but definitely hope for a better experience next time. Hope the feedback helps improve the place.
Where do we start? The line is mismanaged as all hell, you have people waiting for an indeterminate amount of time outside with no update as to when people will be allowed in. They have room inside, but won’t let people in over what I’m assuming is an attempt to keep the indoors less crowded. Once you’re finally in you realize how much the place is in disarray, more specifically the spacing of things inside. It is obviously gimmicky, in a way that’s more disappointing than fun. The menu is super small, Nutella focused of course, but there’s not really anything interesting on it. The workers look like they would rather be tortured than working there. Anyways, we ordered the Nutella crepe with strawberries and an Iced Nutella Mocha Latte. Crepe? Sucked. Latte? Sucked more than the crepe. The crepe was doughy to the point it didn’t feel properly cooked. Coming from an avid mutella crepe connoisseur, it was disappointing that THE Nutella Cafe flopped in comparison to any other crepe place. The latte was like drinking tar that came out of a pipe a mile away from a Nutella factory. Skip this place, it is so obviously a poor cash grab capitalizing on European tourism to Chicago.
I visit this PF Chang’s location frequently, and often order the kids chicken fried rice to-go as it is reasonably priced and easy for me to eat quickly in between a busy schedule. The employees are very kind and quick! However, today while finishing the rest of my kids chicken fried rice, I took a bite of the chicken, and felt something very sharp and hard poke my cheek. I spit it out, and the chicken had a piece of bone. I am concerned because as a former waitress of PF Chang’s, I have never witnessed bones in the chicken used for fried rice, but also because this is supposed to be a KIDS meal. Though I am disturbed, I am thankful this meal wasn’t given to a child as the bone is a choking hazard and could have easily cut the inside of my mouth. Keep in mind I typically order this meal multiple times a month, and this is the first I’ve encountered bones in the food. PF Changs, please do better.
The restaurant looks beautiful, but that’s where the compliments end. The food and service were a huge disappointment. It was our first time here — me, my husband, and his son — and for the quality of the Asian food, I’d give it one star at best. The portions were tiny, my rice was wet, and either the cook got the order wrong or the waiter did. To make things worse, my seasoned chicken sat for about 15 minutes before the rice finally showed up — completely ruining the meal. For the prices they charge, the food should taste a lot better and come out together. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I ended up walking across the street to Little Italy Pizza afterward because I was still hungry — and that pizza tasted way better than what I had here. Pretty place, terrible experience.
