Comfortable and casual pizza restaurant and bar in West Village. We visited on a weekday for Happy Hour between 4 PM and 6 PM. There was a line just before 4, but the staff quickly seated everyone. They have a specific Happy Hour menu for both food and drinks. We tried the spritz and margherita pizza. The spritz could have been a bit more flavourful, so we switched to white wine, which was a better choice for us at the end. The pizza was excellent, baked in true Italian style. Since the pizzas are smaller than typical NYC sizes, you might want to order 1.5 or 2 per person. We weren’t very hungry, so 1 per person was just right for us. The service was faster than expected, and the outdoor seating is lovely on summer days. The indoor space is also beautifully decorated. I can’t wait to be back in Manhattan for another Happy Hour session here!

Amazing vibes, pretty decor. The food is simple, to the point with fresh ingredients and very tasty. Got the burrata pizza, pesto pasta and crispy cauliflower. All three were great. Minimalistic fresh taste. Their olive cake was spongy, juicy and great again.

Love this place! My friend took me out here for my birthday, and we had the burruta pizza, the rosemary bread, and the four cheese pasta, and everything was delicious. The server was great, and got me a candle with our dessert for my birthday. I came here again during happy hour, and the margarita pizza was very good! They’re not that big so if you’re hungry, you could probably do one per person, unless you’re ordering other stuff on the menu to go with it. I always go for the lemonade, and ask to add rosemary, and it’s very fresh.

Watch out, Rosemary! Little bro Roey is here and gunning for your crown. Seriously, though. While Roey's a bit more cramped than its older sibling, it makes up for it with a front-row view of the wood-fired, pizza-making magic and casual neighborhood vibes. But you don't care about vibes. You care about carbs. So get the Lumache Truffle Fonduta to satisfy every Sopranos-induced craving for baked pasta you've ever had, especially if you like said pasta to be drowning in four kinds of cheese (fontina, gouda, mozzarella, and parmigiano) and black truffle essence. Or try the Burrata pizza, which miraculously holds up gobs of fresh burrata on a paper-thin crusts, the hallmark of a good pizza. But skip the olive app. They were huge and generous, but way too salty. I can't imagine anyone finishing a bowl of those without needing a kidney transplant in a week.

Was invited here to join some friends, came just 40 mins before happy hour ends- which is a great deal with 6 dollar wins, two choices of cocktail spritzers (my friend liked these), and inexpensive bites- I had the 10 dollar meatball (comes with two). I also had the mozzarella sticks and chicken parm. Wine was great, unfortunately after happy hr the price went up to 16 dollars for one glass, a larger pour would be nice- they’re very precise with the measurements. Found it surprising that Chianti wasn’t on any of the wine menus but montepulciano is. The meatballs were pretty tasty, but the highlight was the chicken parm and mozzarella sticks. Fresh ingredients and tasty food. The chicken was cooked nicely, great crunch crust but a very moist interior. Very cheesy and saucy, I added the leftover marinara from the mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks come with marinara and some pesto under the sticks, adding another layer of bold flavors which paired nicely. I loved that the chicken parm comes only with a generous portion of arugula instead of a side of plain spaghetti. The chicken itself should’ve been more flat like a chicken cutlet. I was definitely full by the end of my meal. Service is okay, not the friendliest waitstaff, but they’re rather prompt and professional. There are two bathrooms which are kept in decent shape and there’s a nice ambiance if you’re on a date. Overall, highly recommended for happy hr (M-F until 6). Located conveniently near the 14st A, F, C and E station and a bit closer to the W4th station.

Mixed bag. We had a charming waiter, Jean-Daniel, excellent and friendly service. We ordered the “special” watermelon and goat cheese salad, $15 (photo below) that was surprisingly underwhelming, a few cubes of watermelon with 5 minuscule specks of cheese. We called a mgr over who rather brusquely offered to take it away without acknowledging why we complained. We both had the chicken parm ($24) which was very tasty but only comes with a small salad (guys, a small bit of pasta would be nice). We ordered the focaccia ($11) as a side, very nice. The olive oil cake for dessert was also delicious and was accompanied by some complimentary ice cream. Overall, a decent experience marred by the watermelon issue and the weird way it was handled. We also had a bottle of the house Falanghina white wine, not bad but overpriced at $60. Also, it was a hot evening so we decided to eat indoors for the AC, the room gets pretty loud and is somewhat densely laid out. I think they would benefit from some sound insulation acoustic panels, etc.

I went here for happy from M-F from 4-6pm. Their specials are unbeatable for the area and the food was tasty. There are no reservations for happy hour and was able to get seated quickly after they opened at 4pm on a Friday. It is important to note that a line usually starts forming for happy hour so it’s best to arrive before they open. I took one star off because I was seated at a countertop with stools and was shoved in a corner with someone on a high top basically hovering over me. Luckily my friend and I are petite-sized so it was not that big of a deal but not really favorable.

Grabbed dinner with some girlfriends for a birthday! The drinks were great and the pizza was amazing! The pasta was a bit cold and greasy, plus the table of 5 we were sat at was really tight even with a reservation. I would definitely come back for happy hour!

Went here the other day for brunch, it has a really cute interior in a great neighborhood. unfortunately the pizza we got had a super soggy bottom crust, but the flavor was good otherwise. The salad we ordered was huge! Bigger than 2 people could eat so that was a win. The servers were lovely but all in all I found it to be just okay… I will say they have a really great bottomless mimosa deal at $25! Can’t beat that!

We came here for drinks and food in Roey’s, and everything started out great — the food was tasty, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was nice. However, when I asked the server what other snacks they had, she told me to look at the menu. Before I could decide, she came back with the check — even though we never asked for it. I was actually trying to order more food and drinks. I went ahead and paid, but it felt a bit rushed and cut short. Would have liked to enjoy more if the service had been a bit more attentive.
