Amazing pizza. Double the flavor and quality for half the price of any other place nearby. As an Italian, I very much approve this place and will continue coming back. High quality ingredients, flavorful and original Neapolitan crust. Note: got it for take away, even though Neapolitan pizza is not made for takeaway.
Great tasting napoletan pizza ! Must try !
Really tasty pizza & they have Vegan options! Will be returning!
If you’ve ever dreamed of stumbling into a cozy pizzeria in a tucked-away Italian village, this place is your dream come true! The atmosphere feels straight out of a postcard, and the food? Bellissimo! Every bite tasted like it was made fresh from a nonna’s kitchen. The dough was perfectly chewy with just the right crisp, and the toppings were so fresh, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were flown in from Italy that morning. You can tell they put so much love into every slice. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience. Do yourself a favor: order the Margherita pizza, sip on a glass of wine, and pretend you’re on a piazza in Rome. You’ll thank me later!
Hands down THE BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had!!!! (And I’ve had them all) My boyfriend tasted it too and couldn’t tell the difference. Bravo, Simò!
We stopped in on the way back from MoMA and discovered this amazing Neapolitan pizza place by chance. It's not New York pizza so you don't get a slice. You get a Neapolitan pizza in a round. If you're hungry, you can get one for one person. If you want a light meal, one for two people is just right. We ordered one Marinara for two people. It was the perfect amount for a snack. The crust wasn't too thick and the tomato sauce was plentiful and delicious. There are about 12 seats. Even if it's full, a seat opens up quickly. They also provide free water, which is very kind. There are no restrooms. The Starbucks next door also has no restrooms. We were saved by a spacious and clean restroom in the basement of the Victoria Secret on 5th Avenue.
Best pizza in Manhattan. Very thin and very tasty.
Small crowded space but incredible pizza. Red sauce and white cheese base pizzas were equally phenomenal.
Delicious pizza! The sweet Italian sausage was so good! I ate the entire pizza by myself! My hubby got a salad and he enjoyed it. So good!
Best pizza I’ve ever had including pizza in Italy. Crust is perfect.
Nice spot relax & get away from the noise. Pizza was spot on! Friendly, food came quick & hot.
Amazing pizza ! Thin and delicious, proper Italian style
Simply divine pizza. Staff was so helpful in making a good choice.
Excellent pizza. Stopped in with some hungry kids. Got a plain and a meat pizza, and it didn't disappoint. The inside has a small area to eat, so we ate in an open air space across the street. In a nutshell, great food, great service and reasonable prices. Thx.
Great place to grab a delicious authentic pizza bite. Casual and fast service. Kind and respectful staff. This location is not as spacious as their location by Washington Square so might have to grab your bite to go.
Just what good food should be. They've styled the restaurant with care. I found both the food and staff exceptional. SIMÒ PIZZA - MIDTOWN displays impressive expertise. I'll definitely return to this restaurant.
Great pizza. The best I’ve tried in NYC so far. Clean and calm inside. Good place to eat in.
This pizza was so delicious and reasonably priced, great location. I’m not gluten free but even the gluten free is amazing, had to check to make sure it was gluten free that’s how good it was!
Unbelievable Classic Neapolitan style pizza. Actually tastes very similar to pizza I’ve had in Napoli. Not greasy or heavy at all.
One of the best gluten-free pizzas I‘ve ever had! (+3.90 if you choose gluten-free option)
If you're in New York and want pizza, this is the best place, don't worry about paying more, it's worth it
Wow great pizza! Prices are fine. Atmosphere very simple
Stopped for lunch while visiting the city. Recommended by our physician. Very nice staff, and the food was very good. My youngest ate an entire pie! A bit pricey but that's the city for you. Seating is limited due to store front size.
Not New York Style. Just dang good pizza. Definitely recommend. Would go back. Also priced very well. Cheapest and best food I had while in NYC.
Never had Napoli pizza before was always an NYC pizza type of dude but damn this is some good stuff. I got the carnivora pizza the meat was very high quality. It tasted amazing and a bit different from NY style as it isn't as crispy on the bottom and bread is more soft but I was impressed by the flavor and the quality.
The complete dining concept here wins my highest praise. Their meals show health and taste can coexist. I located this good restaurant through Yelp reviews. The people working there are always so friendly. Visit this place and see for yourself.
No kiddin, BEST pizza I’ve ever had. I mean, it was just perfect. The crust, sauce and mozzarella just on point. Casual find. From now on, I will always recommend everyone to come and eat here. LOVE IT!!!!! Ps: it took 3 minutes from the moment we order till we started eating, simply lovely.
Very fresh pizza, love the italian style. Of course this is not “new york” pizza, but it hit the spot. So warm because you see them baking the pies to-order. Maybe about 5min waiting after we ordered for the pizza to come out. We ordered the margarita which had some good sauce on it and really yummy cheese. The crush was chewy and well flavored. I’d say the pizza was a 8/10. A little warm inside but they have a few bar tops to eat at and two small tables if you can find a spot. No bathroom available.
Tucked just off the main path, this pizza joint is the kind of place you almost want to keep secret—but the food is too good not to rave about. We wandered in after fighting and whining about lines at other places. The wait was surprisingly short, especially for a spot serving pizza this fantastic. The crust struck that perfect balance between crisp and chewy, the toppings tasted fresh, and every slice felt like it was made with real pride. And here’s the real testament: we ended up coming back a few hours after our first visit, the teenagers announced they were hungry again—and honestly, none of us needed convincing. Round two was just as delicious as the first, proving this place isn’t a one‑hit wonder. If you’re looking for incredible pizza without the long lines or the tourist‑trap vibe, this little off‑the‑path spot is absolutely worth the detour. We’ll be talking about it—and craving it—for a long time.
Neapolitan style pizza is actually healthy, not junk, it makes you feel good after eating it, instead of any other type of pizza, that makes you feel sluggish. I wish there were more Neapolitan pizzerias in NYC. This is a busy Midtown location. I was here on a Saturday evening before Christmas. There were too many people everywhere in Midtown, and at every pizza joints and cafes. The lady who takes your order is great, she is smiling through all the hustle and bustle and occasionally obnoxious customers. The pizza is great too, made in wood burning oven, tasty, service is efficient. Please open more locations, especially South of Houston, and closer to Central Park. Even better, come to Long Island City!
Really good pizza I ordered Margarita and the pizza was great. It was amazing. The crust was amazing nicely floured they did give me extra olive oil to drizzle on it. And the prices are reasonable as well. It’s not too expensive. I would say it was around $14 for the pizza and 16 for the calzone. I did all the calzone but it wasn’t that great kind of bland from inside there was only cheese nothing else, but I think they can do it better it was I mean they accommodated my request of making vegetarian everything. I think they have some items in the menu that are vegetarian so that’s good but are all a nice place reasonable as well and must have pizza if you are around Central Park.
Simo Pizza was a fantastic find. The pizza was freshly made, bursting with flavor, and served up in no time. The staff were exceptionally friendly and focused on providing great service, which really added to the experience. Pricing was more than fair given the high quality of both the food and the space. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a clean, modern aesthetic—and I loved being able to watch the pizzas being prepared right in front of me. I'll absolutely be returning.
If you are around the area and want a kid friendly place to eat, this is a good spot. I ordered for online pick up so that we didn’t have to wait once we got there (just time it well so that pizza doesn’t get cold). Seating is limited, but after a few minutes spots opened up. Overall good experience. Did not see a restroom for customers.
This place truly felt like an oasis on a chilly day. My friends and I were originally searching for New York-style pizza but stumbled upon this highly-rated spot serving Italian-style pizza instead. We decided to sit for a bit and ordered the Margherita pizza. The portion size is perfect for one person—while it looks big, the crust is thin and perfectly wood-fired. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Quality of all ingredients is good. Unfortunately, the edges of the dough were not as high as is usually the case with Neapolitan pizza. Maybe it's because we came at the end of the day. Considering the great reviews about this place, we were a bit disappointed
Good but pricey pizza, no coca cola, semi cold drinks and no ice available, tiny sitting area. Great to go and have your own cold drinks.
On our recent trip to NYC, we got hungry while walking around and decided to try this place..We ordered a small margarita pizza and ate inside. It was flavorful. The inside seating was comfortable facing the street. There was water , water cups and napkins. The person who took the order was also friendly. The price was also reasonable. Overall good place to have a quick bite.
We had a pizza margarita and a vegan pizza which is basically pizza margarita without the cheese. Was very nice. Its a small place, some people take out. The place was packed when we came but still managed to find seats.
If you have a group larger than 2 people this is not your spot. Pizza was good, not great. Overall decent experience but do a city known for pizza I won’t be going back.
Service is friendly, pizza is good. Small spot in Midtown for a quick 5 minute wait. Margherita was better than the Marinara in my opinion. Italian coke was a nice touch to seem more authentic than Pepsi or Coca Cola. Free water doesn't hurt either rather than paying $5/bottle in the city.
Wanted to eat there but they hardly have any seating. Out the three of us two say less than three star, the third says four. They do have a free water fountain but we’re not trying city water.
Maybe I am just used to NY-style pizza, but this pizza was mid at best. The employees seem nice, and there is limited seating, but it was not crowded during a Monday dinner. The price seems fair.
Surprisingly good neopolitan pizza. The crust is phenomenal - great undercarriage and done in true neopolitan style. The pizza sauce is far too salty...need to relax on the salt otherwise this would have been an amazing slice
Not really to impressed with the flavor of the pizza. It’s okay price wise for the area. I just wish it was more filling for 16 dollars.
I had HORRIBLE experience here! The supervisor was racist towards me and my family. My family and I are Mexican American. The server was rude and cut us off when we had question about pizza that we have never had before. He tossed pizza and plates at my mother. He ONLY had positive attitude with anyone who was white, and would kindly hand them their pizza.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I placed a scheduled pizza order on the website for a holidays event, and the restaurant never delivered it and never notified me. I only found out there was a problem because I called them to check. Their response? They “couldn’t find a DoorDash driver, we will refund you tomorrow!” That’s not the customer’s problem — especially when an order is scheduled in advance. No call, no message, no contingency plan. As a result, I had to change the schedule of my event, which is unacceptable. If you can’t fulfill scheduled orders on your own website or communicate basic issues, don’t offer the service. Reliability matters, and this restaurant completely failed when it counted.
