Found this via google when in the area. Best find of our stay in NYC I’ve eaten a lot of burgers and this was up there as one of the best. We had the rodeo burger double patty it was huge and tasted amazing. My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap and said it was also lovely. All cooked fresh it really was something special. Fries with the Cajun seasoning again fresh and tasty. All at a reasonable price. Not forgetting sitting in the lovely little park was calm away from the madness of 5th avenue.

Two hours at the MoMa and we urgently needed something to eat. The Lunch Box saved us. Relaxed atmosphere, even if the queue is hungry. The vegetarian option was also delicious. Great NY burgers.

Their breakfast sandwich was nothing short of amazing. The way the cheese melted in my mouth and how the flavors came together was incredible. The onion rings had the perfect texture and flavor and had me wanting for more. The staff was very humble and the outdoor seating was beautiful. Awesome tucked away eating place and would 11/10 recommend.

I enjoyed this place so much. It’s kind of relaxing cafeteria in the city. Food, both Burgers and Fries, were nice. Staff at the ordering booth is good. And surrounding is so naturally pleasant. You can bring your own food or buy burgers there. If you want to take a break with waterfalls sounds, you should come here.

Hands down, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had—and I’ve had quite a few. This spot is a true hidden gem, tucked away like a classic NYC hole-in-the-wall, but the food is absolutely next level. Everything is made with super fresh ingredients, and no matter what you order, you’re in for something delicious. The Rodeo Burger is pure perfection—easily my favorite—but the chicken BLT also deserves a shoutout; it's a crowd favorite for a reason. One thing I really appreciate is that the menu is fully halal, and while they don’t use pork, their beef bacon is so good you won’t even miss it. Seriously, you probably won’t even notice the difference. The setting adds to the charm—there’s a peaceful courtyard with its own waterfall, making it a great place to sit outside and briefly escape the usual NYC buzz. And the best part? The people. The guys behind the counter are some of the friendliest, most genuine folks you’ll meet. Great food matters, but great service makes the experience—and they’ve got both in spades. Fantastic hole-in-the-wall spot in NYC that I can't recommend enough. The staff were incredibly helpful, the prices were great, and the food was amazing. The menu offers a wide variety of options, making it a must-visit during your trip to the city. There's an outside seating area, but if you're on the go, the food is wrapped well and can be easily eaten while walking—perfect for grabbing a bagel!

BEST BURGER EVER! What a great find this place was. Everything is made to order and super fresh. This burger was simply outstanding. The french fries are wonderful and I'll just warn you that one order is plenty for two people. You sit outside in a closed off Park away from the road with a waterfall against the wall. It's rather pleasant. I have to say that this is going to be a regular stop for me when I come to New York City.

Amazing little gem in the middle of Manhattan. Great value for money. Burger was juicy and big, great taste, not drenched in oil but cooked beautifully. Fries portion was also great, big and crunchy. Best burger Ive had in NYC so far. Great view of a artificial waterfall with enough noise to block out the traffic but not too much that you can’t talk to each other. Will be back.

I had an incredible experience at The Lunchbox. The burger was extremely juicy and I loved how they inverted the bun as their own twist. The fries were also incredible: perfectly crunchy and flavorful. Not to mention the ambiance and atmosphere. Being located right next to a fountain/waterfall, this place is a great outdoor dining area that is quick and affordable.

I got the classic burger, and the ingredients were super fresh and tasted great. Tasted like a homemade burger, but with a better bun. The fries were amazing—perfectly cooked and great flavor! The atmosphere is probably worth 5 stars when it’s a nice warm day outside, but not the best when waiting out in the cold.

The burger and fries were OK. The thing is, they tasted just too ordinary to cost over $16 after tax. It reminded me Five Guys that gives you a pile of fries so that you can forget the burger was actually overpriced. Plus, they should have put the notice about the price difference between cash and card. I mean, I don't mind getting charged more for paying with card, but I do mind paying extra all of a sudden without any notice.
