Good food, Good vibes! Especially, 'Pocha Fried Chicken', the taste is wonderful. There are several big tables with a wide space, which suitable for both family and friend party.
Pocha K in Newark is a hidden gem for Korean Food and Fun! Instead of going to Gen's Korean BBQ, we decided to celebrate my son's graduation at Pocha K--and we're so glad we did! When we arrived, the restaurant was still closed, but they opened just a few minutes later. Since it was a weekday, we had the whole place to ourselves for nearly an hour. We took the chance to snap some photos in the adorable corner on the right side of the restaurant, decorated with flowers, light-up angel wings, and a fun photo booth backdrop. We were warmly welcomed by Yuri, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating. When she found out we were celebrating a graduation, she surprised us with complimentary drinks--three canned sodas and a bottle of soju. Such a thoughtful gesture! Ordering was a breeze with the tablet on our table. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I asked about the karaoke room, and since it was a quiet day, Yuri generously offered it to us free of charge for an hour (normally it's $100/hour on busy days, not consumable). The room was huge, the sound system was great, and they had a solid selection of up-to-date songs. It was the perfect way to cap off our celebration. I'll definitely be coming back--great food, great service, and a fun vibe all around! Tip: I prefer the Boneless Chicken with the Soy Garlic Sauce on the side so the chicken stays crispy longer. Also the Beef Bulgogi is perfectly seasoned and not too sweet, just the way I like it.
Signature fried chicken is very moist and yum. They are able to accommodate large parties easily. Good vibes, good food, and a good time!!! The waiter is also very nice!
I visited on Thanksgiving Day and had a great experience! We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. They also have Korean Makgeolli, which was a nice touch. The new karaoke room is fantastic—lots of space and up-to-date songs and equipment. I’ll definitely be back again soon!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Poncha K Newark is a Korean flavor powerhouse! Their crispy fried chicken and delicious kimchi fried rice hit all the right notes—tangy, savory, and full of umami. The bulgogi stir-fry beef was tender and perfectly seasoned, making every bite irresistible. The standout? The cheese corn: beautifully roasted whole kernels coated in melty cheese with a hint of saltiness—think Korean-style elote. And if you’re looking for a fun night out, they’ve got a private karaoke room that’s all the rage with the younger crowd. Can’t wait to return and try more—this spot is a must-visit! #PaulEverHome @BayAreaWithPaul
We came here for a late-night bite and were so glad to find a spot open late in the area. The portions are generous, and the cheese donkatsu is a rare find in the Bay Area. The Korean fried chicken is also authentic and delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
This place needs more recognition! Foods are always good, love bringing my family here
We tried the signature Pocha chicken and the cheese tonkatsu. Flavor is mild but really good. The cheese tonkatsu is really good!
Had a great time here singing karaoke while eating dinner. The room was huge & bc it was a birthday, the 1st hour was free. Service was awesome & food delicious! 👌 The floral decor hanging from the ceiling looked nice. There's a photobooth & backdrop area for photos which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Very good, get the chicken combo. Support small businesses! :)

Love this place! The chicken and the fried dumplings are my absolute favorites. Everything else we tried was also good. Service was fast and the decor really adds to the experience.

We ordered Korean Fried Chicken (take away) - it’s Very Sweet & Very JUICY 😍 - kids can eat easily - for the price the quantity I feel very less. We paid total $27. Weekends it’s very rush I think, Except that everything Very nice 🥰 My kid played there very spacious and took lot of photos too.
The fried chicken is good. The one with sause and the Rapoki is a bit sweet for my taste. The vibe is really good for drink and chat.
Finally a good Korean bar in the area. It’s a great place to go with your friends if you want some soju and good Korean bar food. Wait is brutal though which is why I took away a star. There needs to be a better system for the wait.

Came here on a Sunday night, got the bulgogi, kimchi fried rice, and corn cheese. Food was good, not to die for. The bulgogi came out far ahead of the other dishes which was disappointing since we mostly finished it before we could eat it with the rice. The kimchi rice came out lukewarm. Ambience was a highlight, lively.

Wait time was not bad. We waited for 20 mins before getting seated however food came out pretty slow. We had pork belly dish, the only sauce they had was sriracha. We had fried chicken too, the chicken was crunchy but pretty salty. We ordered rice so that helped to balance out the saltiness. The restaurant was cute, dimmed but the temperature is cold. The thermostat was set at 57 degree, it is winter time and 49 outside. It is worse if you sit at the door. It is a fun place to go with friends for a drink but if you want a quiet dinner, with the K-pop nonstop, this isn’t the place to be.

Minus 3 stars for service fee when there's very little service. Literally we order from a tablet and kitchen staff delivers the food. And they top that off with included gratuity? No vegetable sides either. HOW IS THERE NO KIMCHI?!? Never coming back here again.
I am writing this in complete shock right now. I went here for a late night snack two weeks ago. I ordered there combo which on the screen says $19.99. It was super average to taste and I really didn't get why they were charging so much for it but that's not even the point. I get the bill and the total then suddenly jumped to 27 something. I saw that they are charging 24.99 for that combo that just has two kinds of fries, some very bad dumplings and rolls. I tried to get it corrected and the cashier said he can't help with that and asked me to call again to get my refund. I unwillingly pay as his manager is also not present and he acts as if nothing is in his hands. Cut to two days later when I get an email from Capitol one that they charged me not once but twice for the same transaction. I have been trying to call them for two weeks now and they won't pick up either so now I am writing this review hoping they correct their mistake! Edit - I finally paid them a visit in person and the owner was luckily there and refunded me my total entirely and apologized to me too! She was a nice lady

Ate here after eating at the Santa Clara location many many times and wow this was awful. We arrived at 7:30 and ordered two items, the corn cheese and the fried chicken. We didn’t receive food until 8:15 (mind you it was rather empty so it’s not like they were super busy) and the chicken portion was about half the size of the chicken that they give at Santa Clara and it was somehow soggy even though it just came out? The corn cheese was even worse, it was dry and had barely any cheese on it. The total bill for this sad food was $50 which is absurd! The quality, amount of food, and service were all terrible. I HIGHLY do not recommend this location which was such a disappointment after loving the Santa Clara location and going there for years.
