Food was delicious, staff was friendly, unique menu options, Thai tea was perfectly balanced strong and sweet. Small space, so limited seating. Really enjoyed that the shrimp were split in half for ease of eating while still having an adequate amount of shrimp in total.
Actually soooo good. One of the best meals you can find on the peninsula under $20- every single bite was delicious. Favs gotta be the spring rolls and bao bun pork belly yummmm
Great fast food Vietnamese eatery! Highly recommend the Banh Mi pork belly sandwich and fried spring rolls with lettuce wrap. I know the restaurant is famous for its beef sandwich with Pho dipping soup...definitely need to try that next time!
Soo delicious!! My friends and I loved how fresh everything was. I got the summer spring roll with pork and it was so good. My friends got the banh mi and they were so full of flavor. They were unfortunately out of the bao sliders but plenty of yummy stuff. It wasn’t too crowded and we got our food fast. A great affordable spot if you’re not wanting burgers or pizza. 10/10 would come again. Parking is near impossible but that goes for anything in this area
Shared the baguette sandwich and a shrimp spring roll with my mom and it was phenomenal! The food has so much flavor and is very fresh and light. The passion fruit mango limeade is delicious as well 😍 highly recommend this place
The restaurant looks tiny. But The pho and bahn mi are both great! We have the combo pho and beef bahn mi. The bread is on the soft side but I like it. The bahn mi itself is tasty.
Some of the best food on the peninsula. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the jackfruit bao sliders and the tofu banh mi for vegetarians. Their summer rolls are light, fresh, and crisp. Delicious!
Pork belly bap slider So good omg I was like.. I should gotten 2 🥲 1 wasn't enough. I also got the Pho Baggett dip, 1st dip was alright them I added hot sauce and the flavor got better like fuller..
Saigon beach restaurant has some of the best Vietnamese food that we have ever tried out here in Newport Beach California. We ordered the grilled pork Banh mi sandwich and the grilled pork spring rolls we also ordered the pork belly bun. The best thing we had was the chicken wings! Those were fire!! The flavors were on point! If you're ever in Newport California and are looking for a great Vietnamese spot to try then you got to try Saigon Beach Restaurant! You won't be disappointed.
I really loved this place! Vegan Bahn Mi (tofu), and vegan spicy lemongrass soup. All the food was super fresh and served fast. I highly recommend it, and look forward to my return.
Very tasty and the price is very reasonable. We ordered chicken spicy soup, Pho w tofu, and banh mi special. The spicy soup was very tasty for a chicken flavor. The banh mi has mustard in it, but it tasted quite good. We will come here again
Got the Combo Bánh Mì. Flipping great. Slam packed with veggies and the pate so the the mayo was killer. Glad I stopped in.

Best pork belly bahn mi! Great grilled pork bun, crispy and delicate egg rolls, and viet iced coffee too.
Overall: 3.6/5 (dine in) This is a small storefront that's street facing so it might be hard to find parking right in front. I was surprised when I got there because I thought it was a sit down restaurant but the set up is really for take out/delivery. They have bars & stools along the side of the walls but at max, the restaurant can only seat 8-10 people. Customer service is good here though. Pork Belly Bun Slider ($5.95): Better than the grilled pork slider but was just okay. Grilled Pork Bun Slider ($5.75): The grilled pork was very dry. For both sliders, they gave a lot of carrots which I liked but they were lacking all the Vietnamese flavors. The buns were soft though. 420 Downtowner Special ($10.25): We were both so disappointed when we tried this. The presentation was nice but the taste was mid. The green colored rice and the shredded chicken were bland. The pork on top was a bit less dry than the one in the bun and was the only thing with flavor. Nam Nam Wings (5 Wings For $7.95): The wings were the best item of the night. They were crispy and tasty.
Workers were kind and I got my order pretty quickly but the portion sizes were disappointing! The food was good though
It’s hard to find the parking so crowded always. Their food is good but kind of small portions for 2 people at least need to order 3 items. Price is reasonable. Need to upgrade the kitchen when they were cooking the whole restaurant was smoky.

The Vietnamese coffee was not as strong as the original flavor. Had more of a sugary taste. I really wish it was good cus I buy this type of coffee almost everyday.

There was street parking close by but it cost money, this place does not have outdoor seating areas and the indoor seating is really limited ( less than 10 seats) There were two different groups of people sitting inside when we arrived, the staff didn’t even clean the table after those people left, you can tell from the pictures in below, the table was dusty and sticky. This place is a little pricey, the Grilled Pork Spring rolls were really good, I loved the sauce a lot but the Pork Belly Crazy Rich 'Bao' Steamed Bun Slider is really small and the meat was so dry, and the drink was really disappointing too, the size was small and there was more ice than there was drink, I couldn’t taste any lemon flavor in it… The most disappointing part was their service, we simply asked if they do military discount and the staff rolled her eyes and said no, it’s totally fine if you don’t do military discount but that attitude was not okay, they also missed our order of Grilled Pork Bnh M Baguette Sandwich, we had to remind them before we left.
The pho was terrible and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. I asked for a replacement, but they showed me that all the food in the refrigerator was not fresh. This is the worst Pho I've ever eaten.

Came here before 8 pm on a Sunday night. Before I begin my order the person stated I needed to order to go as they were closing. I went and double checked the sign outside as well as the website both said 9 pm. I came back in and said I wanted to eat inside because the sign said they didn’t close for another hour. She said they couldn’t and that they changed their hours and were closing earlier now. I asked to speak with a manager as that didn’t make sense and she then changed her tone and said I as well as the patrons that got there before me could now eat inside. Once I got my food it was the most water downed pho I’ve ever eaten, I could tell they did that on purpose probably because they were angry that their trick to close early didn’t work. Horrible customer service and worst pho I’ve ever had! Avoid this place at all cost!
Bad service and attitude. Went there on a Sunday night — the servers were sitting around chatting at a table instead of greeting guests who walked in. I had to approach them just to ask where to sit. After deciding what to order, I again had to walk up to the counter and wait for their conversation to finish before one of them finally came over to take my order. Really disappointing experience.
