Went here last week after a hike with some friends we worked up and appetite from all the walking we did. This place didn't disappoint with their food options and serving sizes. It's a nice little spot that reminds me of Easterbrook's and Hutches. So the place had a familiar vibe to it. I ordered the chicken wrap and fries and gravy with some macaroni salad on the side. My friends enjoyed their food too. The service was quick and we sat outside at the picnic benches available. The staff here are very friendly. There is even a produce stand next door you can check out after eating. I'd definitely go back here in the near future I'd like to try a few other items on the menu.

Hidden gem alert! Stopped at this roadside hotdog and burger spot and WOW! Everything was insanely fresh and delicious. The viral dill pickle fries lived up to the hype (seriously addictive), and the deep-fried Oreos were next-level. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back!

Always such a great experience at MJs. the home made burgers are next level. Fri truck style fries as well. So good. Order yourself the Big Bubba with cheese and bacon and You won’t be disappointed!

I stopped by MJ’s Own Munchies and ordered the Big Bubba Burger and the Big Bertha Chicken Burger. Both were absolutely massive and packed with flavour. The Big Bubba stood out with its thick, juicy, and well-seasoned beef patty — easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in the area. The Big Bertha Chicken Burger, while my least favourite of the two, was still tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere at MJ’s adds to the whole experience. There are benches with plenty of shade, a well-kept grassy area, and the whole spot is incredibly clean. A fun bonus — free-roam chickens casually wander around, adding a unique, farm-fresh vibe to your meal. Parking is plentiful, and as a rider, I appreciated being able to enjoy my food while admiring my motorcycle just a few steps away. Definitely a chill, satisfying stop with good food and a laid-back country feel. I’ll be back for sure.

Hadn't eaten here in quite some time but stopped in for lunch today. I saw they had a pickle poutine that I decided to try. Maaaaaan.... Fried are dusted with dill seasoning, then there's a creamy dill sauce, curds, and lots of shredded pickle. So freaking good. I forgot how large their poutines were, though. There burgers are very good as well, as I recall and gluten free buns are available. Staff is super friendly and prices are reasonable. I can't wait to work near here again!

We mainly come here for the poutine. Service is pleasant, and portions are large. Love the ambiance of the place. Regular hang out spot. My kid really liked the fried Mars bar.

There is absolutely nothing bad you can ever say about MJ’s. A local staple in the region with amazing food at extremely affordable prices. The atmosphere is perfect for an outdoor lunch or sunset dinner. Great place for everyone of all ages!

Excellent experience. I have passed this place so many times and today was the day I decided to stop. Had loaded fries with beef and hamburgers. The staff is sweet and courteous. If you are driving to Niagara on the laser or the falls this place does deserve your visit .

What started as a “we’re just nipping out for a few things” - turned into another run along the lake to the Niagara Region - it was a gorgeous day for a drive. Along the way - we discovered @mjsownmunchies_ and let me tell you…worth the drive!! The portions are massive - look at that burger - the patties at any local joint around here are less than half that size! The poutine - the cheese is LAYERED - not just put on top - so it’s through the whole thing and my Mum who is not as into poutine as I am, was all over it. The chicken fingers are fantastic and again - so many fries we actually didn’t even eat those just saved them to reheat this week! If ever you’re in the area - or even if you’re not - just head out there for some yummy food and support another fabulous local business!

This place was packed for lunch..a cute neighborhood place...we enjoyed what we ordered a little messy but warm and good.

We stopped for lunch here before stopping next door at Werner's Fruit Farm to pick up fresh fruits and veg. The peameal sandwich, BKT and poutine were all terrific, at great prices!

We like the atmosphere. The license plates are cool to look at while you wait and eat. But the service and food quality is seriously lacking. We ordered 3 large poutines, with poutine being a household favourite- we haven't ever disliked a poutine, yet none of us finished or enjoyed it here. The gravy tasted burnt, the cheese and gravy was only on the top layer (so a lot of dry fries), and there might have been something off with the oil they cooked it in.. not sure what. 3 poutines cost $38, and they charged me $1 for a small side cup of mayo separately. It definitely wasn't worth what we paid, and we definitely won't return. I should also note that my husband didn't want to go at all, insisting that he got food poisoning from there twice before. He opted out of meat just to be safe. Now we know, that even in the dead of winter when food trucks are closed, no matter how bad we are craving poutine, we are better off making it at home ourselves.

I went looking for the taco truck down the street but realized they’re moved to a new location so tried MJs because it was down the street. Heard the ads on Soper and Brown so I thought I’d try it out. I see why they call this “homemade food”. Tastes like it was made half assed, left sitting around and reheated when the kids finally show up for dinner. The week old leftovers in my fridge would taste better.

I do not understand the infatuation over this place ? Yes it’s at a beautiful location but that’s IT… spent over $60 for what? The beef patties had ZERO flavours not even salt or pepper just tasted like straight up cow …. Deep fried pickles tasted frozen ranch was also gross … the onion rings are the only thing that was enjoyable. We will not be back … if ur looking for basic food with no flavour come here.
