I wish there was an option for a 10 star for our service from Liz. Saturday evening. Wow ! I just want to post a little bit more about the phenomenal experience from our waitress. I don't think I've ever experienced anyone in the food service that gave an experience like her. I'm a pretty picky person and very indecisive let's just start with that. And it started out from me asking for her opinion on food and drinks. I normally am very indecisive when it comes to food. With no qualms I just accepted her feedback from the questions asked regarding the food. Not only was she very passionate about it she delivered an experience just through her words and explanation. She pretty much knew what we wanted before we knew we wanted it. She was so attentive. Phenomenal from start to finish. The food was a fantastic too. I'm not a bougie food person. I didn't expect to love everything that was brought out. At the end of the meal we had already discussed that we have to try some type of dessert. Without ever seeing the menu we simply told Liz when she came back to the table that we were thinking about dessert when she asked. She left the table and she was gone for quite a few and we were wondering if she was going to get a menu or something like that and got caught up which was not ever the case. She brought this phenomenal butter cake dessert out for us. Again with the she knew exactly what we wanted even before we wanted it. It was our first date. Liz, if your reading this you didn't know that but you made the experience that evening. We Will be back. The food was seriously great

This restaurant is so amazing! The service is great, so quick, so attentive, and so knowledgeable! We had a lot of allergies at the table and our server was so accommodating and knew everything about the menu that we could and could not eat. I wish I remembered our servers name because he was great!! 10/10 am going back!!

Stars all around on our wonderful meal last night at Table 5! We sat at our favorite table in the window and enjoyed the cozy and lovely atmosphere of the bar area, still decorated for the holidays. The service at table 5 is always professional and on point and it was once again last night. Our meal was absolutely delicious- the Halibut never fails but my son got a steak dinner with a red wine reduction sauce that was just yummy! Our favorite spot in Northville!!

Had an AMAZING dinner here! Actually just ordered a bunch of appetizers and my wife and I had a tapas meal. The bourbon cherry coke was too good, dangerously good. Like, if I didn't have a half hour drive home I would've had second one. The little details is what matters to make an awesome dining experience. For example, the calamari was perfect and crispy, but what really made that dish was the fried peppers that they get from a local farm and then pickle before they fry them. Delicious mix of sweet and spicy peppers. The only thing I'd change is that the fried green tomatoes don't need about 90% of the the spicy sauce they come on. I felt it took away from the dish and made it that my wife could only eat one piece. For a busy night the service was fantastic. They kept the plates coming out with decent timing. The only ambiance issue I had was the band playing down the street's sound was mixed really poorly and so there was this kind of constant bass drone. But that's not the restaurant's fault, eating outside you sometimes run into things like that. Northville isn't our usual stomping grounds, and so we were pleasantly surprised we scored such a win on the first time we've gone out to eat there. We'd try some entrees next time. A couple of things looked really interesting.

Absolutely loved our experience this past Saturday. From the moment we walked in, the staff and owner greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, offering recommendations for both dishes and drinks. The food was soooo good! As newcomers to the Northville area, dining here enhanced our visit and left us wanting more. We can’t wait to return!

Table 5 is a consistent, comfortable, warm and elegant community experience. It’s a regional destination for creative cuisine, but it’s our own downtown place. I leave every visit feeling happy, well cared-for, and proud of this successful small business in my neighborhood.

My husband and I went here for the first time today. The food was amazing. I can usually only eat 1/3 of a meal (at the most) because I know I can make it better. But not here. I ate all 100% of this delicious food. Our waitress Liz, was so attentive that she noticed I liked ice in my wine. So she brought me over a small glass with a spoon so I didn’t have to scoop some out with my hands. It was the attention to the little details that made this place an experience to remember. I highly recommend.

We drive 35 minutes to eat here two or three times a month. Their menu is inventive. Their preparation is detailed and well executed and the presentation is wonderful. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the food and can put together an excellent wine pairing. The specials are Wednesdays are the best deal in town. The best bar tender in all of Southeastern Michigan, is here. Once he meets you he never forgets your name and your favorite drink. The owner is always there and that is always pleasant and helpful. We love this place.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Firstly even though I had made reference in the OpenTable special requests section of the reservation it was still nice to have our server welcome us to Table 5 and to congratulate us on our anniversary. He was also very patient with us as we went through wine and appetizer courses before mains. And finally for dessert he consulted with me before making a recommendation. Overall the food and service was excellent and would highly recommend Table 5 for any occasion.

Our dining experience was wonderful! Started with the tomato ragout, a great Amarone wine, then the filet and Halibut. Everything was delicious and our server, Corey, was perfect. Shared a delicious dark chocolate dessert too!

We were there on a Friday night June 10th we had the best service and the most amazing food...Ryan the Souis Chef came out and greeted us in how we liked everything he did an amazing job along with your head chef . The desserts were five star and our scallop meal was to die for.. The wait for table and our food was way worth it!! we like the outdoor patio seating will come again.

We had an excellent meal at Table 5! The bread was warm with interesting flavors of butter. The mussels were excellent - nice size portion with a delicious sauce. The trout was fantastic and the chef was extremely accommodating by adjusting the dish due to an allergy. Jeff was an excellent server with good recommendations - we will definitely be back! Nice wine selection too!

The atmosphere is so great. Grab a reservation and get ready for a fantastic evening of wining and dining. The cocktails are great as well. Do yourself a favor and try the calamari and the st Louis cake.

We chose Table 5 as the venue for my fiancée’s bridal party, and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything—from the ambiance to the service—was top-notch. The space was impeccably clean and beautifully arranged, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special celebration. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the outstanding service. Cory and Carly were incredible throughout the entire event. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and warm demeanor made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Whether we needed a drink refill, an extra plate, or simply a friendly check-in, they were right there—always one step ahead without ever being intrusive. The food was equally impressive—every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and served promptly. It’s clear that Table 5 takes pride in delivering not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help celebrate such an important day. Highly recommended.

Our first time at Table 5 was wonderful. From the food (appetizer (mussels 🤤) to the entrees (filet and trout)) to the service, everything was top notch. The mussels were so delicious. Our waiter knew to bring us more bread to soak up the yummy broth. The filet was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth. The trout was equally delicious and the sides were perfectly paired. Definitely will return.

If Google allowed me to give a sixth star, I’d be petitioning Congress right now. Sarah’s service at table 5 was not just dining—it was a full-blown spiritual awakening. Within minutes of sitting down, I heard the faint plucking of a banjo. At first, I assumed it was ambiance music. But no. Sarah herself emerged, producing a glorious stranger across the path, banjo in hand, strumming what I can only describe as the soundtrack to my soul’s redemption. The bread hadn’t even arrived before she began a soliloquy, nay, an ode to the steaks so moving that strangers at other tables began quietly weeping into their calamari. Mid-stanza, she leaned in, gently caressed my face, and whispered: “It’s going to be okay, it’s never too late to change your order.” Reader, I believed her. Who needs therapy when you can have Sarah, a banjo, and the kind of reassurance usually reserved for Lifetime movies? My pasta could’ve been far past Al Dente, and I still would’ve tipped 50%. Luckily, it was excellent—but let’s be honest, that was just background noise to the transcendence happening at table 5.

Table 5 was absolute perfection from start to finish. My bridal shower was hosted here, and I truly wouldn’t have changed a single thing. From the planning process to the drinks and food, everything exceeded expectations. Corey was SO incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning phase—always available, quick to respond, and made the process feel completely seamless. Chef Maddie absolutely crushed it with the food (and it was her first solo event!). Every single bite was divine—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and loved by every guest. The service was top notch, the vibe was just right, and I would honestly host every event here if I could. Can’t recommend Table 5 enough!

Table 5 is a gem right in the cutest downtown. We hosted a business dinner for 25 people, and everything went flawlessly. I worked with Corey before the event and he's just the nicest guy. So organized, knowledgeable and reliable. The food and drinks were amazing. Our group was upstairs in a private area. Great service, great food and perfect location. Everybody enjoyed the evening. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic food. Everything was delicious especially the potato leek soup and the delicious St. Louis butter cake. Definitely save room for dessert because the butter cake is outstanding! The service was also wonderful- great wine recommendations etc. just a wonderful experience a beautiful little hidden gem in downtown Northville.

I liked table five. They strive to be gourmet and they get the job in an old American kind of way. That is combining several flavors and cultures. The trout was great and the chef made a special sauce. The bread was warm and fantastic and not even places are giving bread so it was a relief not to pay for bread. Good job!

Came here to celebrate an occasion as we’d heard good things of this place. Soup of the day - New England clam chowder - was amazing, and the complimentary bread with flavored butters they brought out was quite nice as well. My partner got the bay scallop linguine which was incredible, definitely recommend. I got the roasted Amish chicken which fell a bit below expectations. All in all a four to five star experience that landed as a four because it took a long while for our food to arrive and the overall service was quite slow. Seems like this is a common theme after reading reviews so our experience was not the exception.

Good service, OK atmosphere and food. Amish chicken was pretty dry. Salmon was done well. Very good coulie with the dessert.

Service a bit slow but maybe it's due to the strange circumstances we're in during this pandemic. We made reservations and were accommodated promptly to our table. Personally I ordered the wedge salad which was fresh and delicious and the panko breaded halibut with butternut squash risotto. Entrees took a pretty long time to come out but it was also delicious! Overall I liked the food but I'm not running back anytime soon.

Most people would talk about how juicy the steak was or how the veal cuts like butter (which those statements are true). But can we talk about the DESSERTS and the LEMONADE!? I wasn’t sure I was going to like the desserts, but after trying their butter cake and chocolate pot de creme I was convinced they knew what they were doing! And their lemonade? I don’t know what it is but it hit every single taste bud that a lemonade should! Oh, and staff was top notch! I definitely recommend you try this restaurant.

Our server was great but the pace of service from the kitchen was not great. Wedge salad had two drop of dressing on literally the bottom of a head of romaine they sliced off. Mostly core and like three bites. Pot de creme delish but again 3 bites. Gooey butter cake dessert. Same. 3 bites. Just felt like a bit of nickel and diming. Especially when you are spending over $700 without tip. Other food items were good.

Table Five is a fun place to go for dinner. The menu has a bit of everything. I was a huge fan of their Summer Melon Salad. The yogurt vinaigrette it came with was awesome. For dinner I had the Smoked Short Rib. The dish its self was delicious. The cassoulet was everything I hoped it would be. I would have loved for it to have more of a variety of beans and sausage. The short ribs flavor was excellent. It wasn't melt in your mouth tender but I still enjoyed every bite. The service was great from start to finish. I enjoyed their cocktail called the Spicy Peach Mule. It was very well balanced. The fresh jalapeño gave the cocktail a enjoyable kick.

Went here for our Anniversary last weekend. Food was absolutely delicious but the service was so slow it was hard to enjoy the meal. Mind you we like to take our time eating and having drinks but this was over the top slow. By the time our dinners came we had been there 1 hr 45 min and we were so ready to go we ate super fast and skipped the desserts we really wanted to try. It still took another 30 min to get our check. Could have just been an off night but we noticed it wasn’t just us. All the tables around us were frustrated. If you have the time to spend 2 or more hours dining, I highly recommend the place as the atmosphere was good and food is delicious.

A decent restaurant! Food was good but nothing was extraordinary. Had a good time , been there only once.

Table was not prepared promptly at the confirmed reservation time, resulting in a 30-minute delay before we were seated. The restaurant appeared to be overbooked that night, leading to an approximately one-hour wait between the starter and the entree. However, the quality of the food, drinks, and service were satisfactory. Nonetheless, there is room for improvement in terms of communication and hospitality.

Generally good menu, wine list & service. However was very disappointed with their $38 special- a pan roasted Australian Fish. Sent it back first time as it was too salty. To their credit, they re-did it, but still too salty the second time. I just ate it since everything else was good. Left generally disappointed given their $38 “special” was the one that was below the mark!!!

Usually quite satisfied with the meal here. The lamb tonight was $43 bit and low quality meat. Tough and could hardly cut. I don’t like sawing my meat through tough gristle . Tabouli was very tasty as were the large square tator tots. Wife’s filet mignon was over cooked . Cocktails and wine were good. Bread was good. Outside seating nice. Won’t take reservations for outside here . Since it was a birthday I booked inside and thought we could ask about sitting outside if it was available . Wife Got an annoyed response from the manager/ host that she asked for outside seating. there were open seats inside and outside throughout our meal. Can’t give better than a 3

Drinks were not good. Vodka mule was un drinkable . Muscles were unnecessarily spiced. The steak was over cooked. Just over all was a mid to not very enjoyable experience

Hidden in the heart. Nice, small, intimate venue, very nice staff, limited menu. Food was okay. Very accommodating, great service, and limited parking. Did not make a reservation and did a walk in of 8 guest and were immediately seated. :) I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone in the surrounding area.

Food was overly salty! Veal mushroom sauce and polenta was so salty I could hardly eat it! Pheasant with burgundy sauce with potato pancakes was extremely dry and the sauce was overly salty. We will not be back enough though we loved the service and atmosphere.

Wouldn’t let me hold a bar seat for 5 minutes while my guest was walking over. Ironically *I waited for them* as they opened the doors late. The exchange with the hostess was terse and lowbrow. I now regret all the generous tips I left them in the past. It’s a shame because the food is good, as is the bartender, but because of the hostess I’ll be taking my money elsewhere. She would rather lose a customer forever than let me hold a seat for a few minutes. Truly mindless behavior. ///// You had no problem stopping me cold at the front desk and turning me away in front of other customers. You shooed me off with tremendous ease. Then you received a bad review and only now does your attitude shift. And it wasn’t about your bar seats. You were simply caught giving your “weekly regulars” preferential treatment. You ushered them through and abruptly stopped me. The clubhouse mentality is despised in Northville and you are one of a handful who participate. I suggest you treat everyone the same.

Do yourself a favor. Save your money. This place sucks. Server was flat out rude and obnoxious. We had a reservation. We were waiting inside the little vestibule while there was an open table ready to be seated. 15 minutes go by and another couple walks in. After that, another 5 minutes go by and another couple walks in. The lady with dark hair in a ponytail and glasses (bartender) proceeds to seat the other two couples after we told her we had been waiting for 20 minutes. After trying to explain we were waiting now 25 minutes for a table, she said she didn't care. WOW!!

Have been here 5 times. First time 2 years ago. Awesome. Five stars. Every time after gets worse. This last time was the final time. I ordered chicken breast. Didn’t taste fresh. Was rubbery tasting not tender. It was served with a tablespoon cold gritty mash potatoes watered down with broth. Two asparagus with no flavor o could cut with a fork. I returned it too scared to try anything else. Spoke to the owner who was polite but didn’t offer anything but thanked us so he could make their food better. My boyfriend eat his food alone. The experience was terrible.
