I was passing through the area and happy to have stopped at Pearl! The food was delicious and had very good sized portions.

My favorite spot in Novato though I’ve always had my orders delivered and have never eaten in the restaurant itself. I love the poke bowls with organic salad. The bbq beef is super tasty and I love the fresh tuna and salmon poke. The large bowl is enough for two meals depending on your appetite. The milk teas are awesome too!! Very fresh and yummy boba .

I was feeling like a good poke bowl and of course, decided to make my way to Pearl for lunch. I ordered my poke with all the fixings with tuna/salmon. I sat down at a table and I started to feel warm. I asked if the air conditioner would be turned on. I was told no, so I had to take it to go since it wouldn’t be enjoyable for me to eat it in a stuffy room. I took it to go and devoured it elsewhere. I got a mix of the mild mayo and spicy mayo and all the fixings made it very tasty.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Pearl. The food is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. They way it works is you choose a base for your poke bowl: rice or greens. I had Jasmine rice. Then pick 2 or 3 proteins: I chose ahi tuna and scallops. Then you choose as many "toppings" as you want. There are probably 20 or so options. You can load it with all if you want... there's no additional cost per topping. I loaded my bowl with edamame, crab salad, corn, peppers, and a bunch of other stuff. Lastly, choose a sauce. I had the spicy sauce (I can't remember what it was called) that was delicious. We also ordered boba teas. They have a lot of them on the menu. You can also order banh mi...I might try one next time. The only negative is that the ordering system is slow. We decided what we wanted while in line but it still took about 5 minutes to place the order for two of us. If there are several people ahead of you, I can assume it will take a while. I'm not sure how they could fix this since you have to select every ingredient in your meal. A second register would help, but there's not really any room for one. But wow...the food is really good! I hope Pearl succeeds!

I think their business is catered to "To-Go" service as we had to ask for plates. I'll probably be back for some takeout boba and eats for the wife and kids.

If we go again next time, we might try the Poke--they look good in the picture.

Japanese Grilled Chicken Tight - rice bowl "Marinated and grilled chicken thigh ✔ serve with rice ❌, soft boiled egg ✔, salad ✔, white sesame seed❌, scallions❌ and sweet chili sauce✔" So I had to ask for the rice they thought did not come with the order...but it's a rice bowl. Chicken thigh, salad and egg in 1 container. Ultimately for a $13 meal this was beyond disappointing. I will not be making a return stop here. Staff were great and friendly though.

I went every week once maybe twice for my poke bowl and now they have raised the price to double for a week and then doubled it again and don’t allow you to get more than a regular poke bowl costing even more!!! I used to pay $30 for an extra large bowl. It’s now $25 for a regular poke bowl and my order was wrong with the smallest scoop of protein! I will never eat there again!! I used to LOVE it as my all time poke bowl experience and now I’ll never return ! Such a disappointment from one week to the next with no notice of price changes and such a drastic change ! Thumbs down 100%
