Clean, great staff/owners, perfectly increased the spice in my butter chicken as requested. Beautiful music. Food to go was ready in ~12 minutes though I’d have felt comfortable eating there. 👍🏼

We have ordered food from here multiple times. The staff are always friendly and they get to preparing your order right away. We have never had anything bit good things to say about all of our meals from here. Always yummy and bursting with flavor. I definitely recommend checking it out. It also feels pretty affordable in my opinion. The atmosphere inside is pretty basic, but don't let it discourage you from the delicious food.

Dined in. Don’t be surprised if it looks empty because most people order out. Food and service was great for us. Will come back regularly and also order catering. We ordered regular naan and didn’t know butter is put on it. They were nice to make a new batch without butter for us dairy-allergy folks.

My wife and I walked by this restaurant late afternoon, and was attracted by how clean and cosy it looked. So we stopped by for chai tea, and ended up ordering samosa with garbanzo beans too. The chai was piping hot—the way we like it. The samosas were beautifully presented, and delicious too. The friendly service made it a great experience for us. We’ve made a mental note to come back for a main meal one day.

Delicious & fast. Very clean, small place in downtown Oakland. Garlic Naan=crispy & warm Veggie Biryani=colorful & a little spicy. Chicken Tikka Masala=warm and soothing, lots of butter flavor. Aloo Gobhi (cauliflower & potatoes)=comforting veggies in garam masala. Reasonable prices. Will definitely go again.

I’ve only eaten delivery from here via grubhub. Love the food here, soo yummy and fresh. Always comes warm and packaged neatly. The butter chicken is amazing with a good size portion. The goat biryani, so yummy and big enough to share. Cheese naan and samosa are both cooked perfectly. I’ve ordered these about five times and always on point! Recently tried the mango chutney and also great. Thanks for food that warms the soul!

We ordered delivery for my husband’s birthday dinner. The food came quickly, and was fresh, piping hot and good. The person who prepared it was talented and obviously cared about making delicious food. Oh. Right. It’s in the name! True.

Little hole in the wall type business run by a sweet older man and his cook! We ordered the huevos rancheros and the waffles with fried chicken. Although the huevos lacked a bit of flavor; both meals were affordable and well made regardless! The owner even offered us tortillas to go with our food. The decore is cute and the diner itself is relatively quiet. I'd say check it out if you're looking for a cheap filling bite!

Not the best, but certainly not a bad spot. The food is overall good quality but just lacking a bit on taste. The spicy level was also surprisingly low. Overall, our group enjoyed the food but could use a little more spices and flavor.

Food was ok, tasty but not great. They misunderstood how many sides of rice we wanted and then got annoyed like we didn’t want to pay for them. It seemed a little unnecessary but we just said fine and paid for them because it was embarrassing. So food was a 4 but service attitude a 3 at best.

For $20 I was expecting a little more food. Butter chicken with 6 pieces of chicken is just sauce. I’ve never had crispy roti either… maybe I’ll try them during the day.

Their food delivers twice. First time you eat it, the second time when you expunge. The waiter said he cooked the food (yea). For all the non Indian fellas rating this garbage as 5 star, thats like rating Wendys 5 star. You would if you don't know what youre eating. Artificial junk curry house.

As a regular customer, I was disappointed by the new waiter’s clear lack of professionalism. He was disrespectful, hostile, and unable to communicate properly or handle situations in a calm, appropriate manner. I won’t be returning.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The drinks were cheap, artificially colored, and unpleasant. The service was shockingly bad — the waiter was hostile, unwelcoming, and outright disrespectful. We were having a normal conversation in a public restaurant when he rudely confronted us and blamed us for other customers “leaving,” which was completely uncalled for and absurd. Instead of hospitality, we were met with intimidation and blame. The entire experience was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and spend your money literally anywhere else.
