Great spot in Oakland. Doesn't have long hours, but it makes up for that with great drinks, good food, and an awesome atmosphere. Great selection of lagers which went well with the food. Cocktail selection was wonderful with a varied list of classics. Super clean.

Wow gotta try this place, super chill with top notch mixed drinks, excellent service, and good food. The Old Fashioned are a house specialty, I heard the orange one is a must try. Had the fish and chips and loved it.

A put bull was allowed to attack our dog tonight, they were sitting at the bar by the door. Our dog is well-behaved and well-trained and was attacked walking out of the restaurant. I appreciate places being dog friendly but plz be safe. The food and drinks are great but this ruined the evening.

Real, honest and delicious food. I got the steak and it was great. 9.5/10, would be a 10 if it had a little bit more seasoning. Service was fantastic, and their ranch is amazing! They told me they make it fresh in-house every morning. Bit random but it was the best ranch I've ever had!

This new spot is off the chain. Absolutely incredible. Stopped by for the first time yesterday. Honestly i can't wait to come back. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was impeccable. The family that runs this joint has a great sense of humor, and they treat all their customers like family. My new favorite spot in Oakland

The owners here really know how to make you feel welcome. The food menu is concise without any filler and everything they serve is delicious! Currently my favorites from here are the pork lumpia and the French dip sandwich. Jeff is very attentive and really knows his way behind the bar. Ann Marie does a great job making sure everyone is taken care of and brings a wonderful personality to the place. If you're looking for a place to get some good food in a friendly environment you can't go wrong with Dinner House.

I love this place. The food is delicious, comforting, and satisfying, the beers fresh, I think they even have Asahi on tap. The bartender is nice, it's a great, freindly place to stop and get a bite to eat and drink.

This place is a hidden gem! The owners work hard, provide great service, and have a wonderful selection of German beers. I highly recommend the fish and chips. I had a great time here.

What a delightful surprise made from a recommendation made from a friendly stranger who used to work at this establishment. The service- honestly the friendliest people who joke and make you feel like you're family or long time friends from high school. The atmospehere- clean, plush red seats, black table tops, and nice edison-style incandescent lamp fixtures to highlight the nice bar, coupled with multiple tv's playing the latest sports for the evening. The food- wow. Completely unexpected for a bar sit-down. They grind their own prime rib to a perfection for their burgers and meatloaf. The pasta- spaghetti pomodoro, was prepared perfectly, al dente with just the right balance of cheese and seasoning. And finally the cocktails- old fashioned(s), how many different variations can this place have? 4, or was it 5? If you're visiting the east bay or live here, this delightful place is a 'must'. Thank you to the chef behind the kitchen, attentive bartender and all-around super friendly staff!
