Went there for breakfast, they have great prices with generous portions. For the amount of customers present, they work really hard and fast to bring our your food. Would definitely visit again. V dank out of v dank.

The grits are hot and creamy, the scrambled eggs are soft, the bacon is not burnt, the place is super clean and the folks are super nice. I'm going to keep on going because I simply LOVE it!!!🤎🤍♥️

Happy Dog is probably one of the greatest breakfast joints in Oakland, near Foothill Square shopping center I greatly advise stopping in and giving it a try, there's nothing I've ever been disappointed in ordering since I've been coming about seven or so years ago, on and off. The staff are all friendly, but make it before the 20 minutes til close time, they usually lock doors if there's a big enough lull, as I would do if I owned a place like this Again, heavily advise checking it out

The Al's Special is another go to for me, they'll make it how you like. What I love most is the consistently great service at this small, family-owned business.

Breakfast sandwich was a little flat and greasy. Shrimp grits was tasty, but it was just grits with shrimp for $13.

For now the best variety in french fries and foremost Orange, Spice deep ice cream (vanilla, chocolate) cone on a day over 80° degree temperature. I still have to try the milkshakes (winter) and different hotdogs.

Food is good but the neighborhood is dangerous be careful. I was car jacked in the parking lot trying to get lunch and another person shot. They don't have cameras outside. So if something happens in the parking lot there will be no video. Stay safe

Me and my husband went there for breakfast the other day.My husband order pork chop and hash brown, he told them he want his hash brown well done, well done means ,you know how the outside is burn and the inside is white,so he told them to chop it up and cooked the inside ( the white part) and they told him that's impossible no body cooks hash brown like that.All other places do it why can't they?? They first priority is to value there customer not pushed them away. Food is good but there attitude stinks .

Food is great! However they never answer their phones so you can’t order ahead to pick up you end up having to wait in their tiny parking lot for the food. Also they close early some days with no heads up and they’ll turn you away.
