Lovely hidden backyard garden for a relaxing lunch in the greenhouse. Drinks are pretty and tasty. Thai tea lemonade was refreshing. The mango drink was also delicious. We shared a beet wrap with pink crab and ample of vegetables. The peanut sauce was very tasty. The almond croissant with Thai tea cream was surprisingly delicious. A very nice combo of flavors.

I absolutely love this local café. My favorite food item on the menu is the avocado and smoked salmon toast. All the coffee and tea drinks are so yummy. Adorably decorated interior with a charming patio out back. A perfect place to visit to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while.

The owner just updated the menu this morning. The environment is that of a magical old library intertwined with forest/jungle themes. Super cozy for a quick bite or a locked in productivity session.

I absolutely loved this café! Perfect for grabbing something light to eat and basking in the sun for hours. I had the Soya Soya Rice Wrap with peanut sauce which was around $12.00 and per the menu is vegetarian (Fresh tofu, sesame seeds, chives, arugula, spring mix, cucumber, carrot, guacamole, sweet black sauce, mint, basil, cilantro, konjac noodles.) Not sure what ingredient doesn’t make it fully vegan/plant-based but the owner who served us was so kind that I’m sure they can take it out! The peanut sauce is delicious, I’m still thinking about it!!! The wrap itself was good, my only comment is to put less spring mix in it and more tofu and noodles. I could barely taste the tofu and noodles because there was too much green stuff. It was really nice and cozy even though it’s late October I didn’t feel cold. The person serving us who I think owns the place was one of the kindest people I’ve encountered, just super nice and helpful. I will totally be coming back!

It took no time for this place to become my favorite! Beautiful atmosphere, incredibly tasty and healthy food, drinks are delicious, and the owner PJ is fantastic too. The pea flower tea 🫖 is especially fun and elegant. Rice wraps are out of this world😋 The back patio is perfect for both relaxing and working.

Nice little nook of a place serving refreshing drinks and innovative food. We like their new take on the Vietnamese goi cuon. Veggies, rice noodles and protein wrapped in a rice sheet served with a spicy cilantro sauce or peanut sauce. Very tasty. It does take quite some time for the food to come out, it’s okay if you have a lot of time to kill, it is a pleasant place for spending time with friends and loved ones. The seating area is homey with soft pillowy sofas. On nice days, which are plentiful in Oakland, the garden patio at the back is one of the pleasures of casual dining.

This place was amazing!! The vibe was lush and cozy, the back patio was perfect. They had great vegan options, I had the soya soya rice wrap with the peanut sauce and it was so fresh and tasty!! My mom got the salad with tofu and sesame dressing- it looks beautiful and simple but tasted complex and was deliciously unique. Also got the coconut cream chai lattes that were so luxurious. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend!

I feel like I stepped into one of those Rolife miniature sets , it’s so precious! I love the decor, and the owner wasn’t kidding when the dark hijacha latte is strong! Will come back again.

amazing place to munch, wake up and get some reading/work in. First off the vibes are great, loved in and tasteful interior with a dreamy greenhouse back patio that gets warm light. huge drink selection, fun unique flavors. I went with the ginger turmeric latte iced and came up all dressed so cutely. yummy too. the wrap options were gorgeous + the portion size they give is amazing along with tasty side peanut sauce and a fish sauce based herbal dipper. We got that Tofu Wrap, fresh + generous + crisp, would 100% return

We LOVED our experience at Me and Jungle Cafe. Such a welcome addition to the Piedmont Ave community. The food and service was spectacular and the drinks were amazing, not to mention BEAUTIFULLY crafted. Emma at the counter was so pleasant and lovely; she had great recommendations and suggestions, and was very attentive to our tastes. Her spirit and kindness was so wonderfully East Bay, I was just over the moon to interact with her. Wonderful job. this place is heaven on earth. incredible decor, impeccable service, food so fresh and whole we watched the veggies used in our food being delivered. absolutely the best cafe i have ever stepped foot in, and i didn’t even check out the patio! the Oakland wrap was MASSIVE, fresh, flavorful (you can taste and SEE every ingredient), and DELICIOUS! chocolate croissant and fresh fruit were great and the coconut cream latte was unique and perfectly sweet. 1500/10!!!

The food is very very tasty. I had Salmon Lover wrap and the spicy cilantro sauce is so bomb!!! The portion is huge but I was prepared for that. Really cute decoration inside. They got cozy patio in the back. Great for sunny afternoon.

My mom and I tried this place for lunch on Sunday and came back the next weekend because we liked it so much! It's a dog-friendly restaurant, and our dog was definitely not the only one present. The first time we each got our own dishes: smoked salmon avocado toast & the club sandwich. On our next visit, we shared a chicken rice wrap, which came with 4 big portions that we split with an extra serving of the spicy cilantro lime sauce. All of the food was delicious and they use fresh, local ingredients. The thai tea and strawberry lemonade were also tasty. You order for yourself at the counter and get a number that you place on your table; when your food is ready, a server looks for your number and brings the food to your table. I will definitely be returning to this place to try more menu items.

We finally have a truly cozy cafe experience on Piedmont Ave! Not only are there actual cozy chairs and sofa, but the vibes are very cozy as well. I felt so calm there, it was like an oasis of calm in an ocean of chaos. It felt healing just to be there for even only ten minutes. There are a lot of food and drink options, mainly tea and juice of various kinds. My partner and I shared a hibiscus lemonade, which was a refreshing sweet and tart mix. I highly recommend this sweet spot!

The space is beautiful too, full of plants and calm energy, both inside and outside. Everything’s spotless, including the bathroom. You can really relax here. Highly recommend.

I worked in the service industry for 9 years as a waitress and hostess. I get it , sometimes it sucks, but we were as nice as possible and tipped well.
