Good authentic Japanese cuisine! Had the tempura udon, beef teriyaki set and double salmon roll. Salmon tasted especially delicious. Service was great, they accommodated for a party of 8 without reservation with about a 15 minute wait (friday dinner, 6pm). There is a physical waiting list upon arrival, staff was efficient and kind despite the large group inconvenience. Would 10/10 go again, great value and great service.

I went to shimizu for dinner and the line is ok for a Sunday night, almost right away. I tried teriyaki chicken, chicken Karaage, tempura, and flaking sushi roll. Everything is so good! The restaurant also offers stamp collection.

I don't consider myself a sushi or seafood connoisseur...but this is the best, most reasonably priced sushi I have had in the bay. Everything was beautiful, fresh, well portioned and delicious. We gorged on more fish than should be possible to eat in one sitting and after extensive reflection...I have no regrets and will return.

Incredible service and 5 star food! The Uni was fresh and sashimi had a delicious variety. We came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday dinner and WOW, so impressed! Price was good as well. We will definitely be back with more friends 🤩

Excellent sushi! Everything was so fresh and tasty. We got a few rolls and then the spicy edamame. The fish was flavorful and fresh, the rice was delicious and the rolls were wrapped so perfectly! They also provided a healthy amount of Wasabi and ginger which are my personal favorites. Highly recommend! They do dine in, but takeout was so easy!

EXPERIENCE: The space was tight. Customers might be asked to share a table with people outside of their party. Fun vibe, most especially with the sushi on fire, which seemed to be popular as many tables ordered one as well. . Family friendly. Food was tasty and portions were generous. Staff were nice and attentive.

Me and my girlfriend couldn't find a good sushi restaurant and came across this one. Staff was very respectful and customer service was great. It was a great experience and the food had a good taste. My only recommendation to the chefs is more flavor on the sushi. Overall, pretty good.

Update 8.31.22 Prices recently went up. I like it but $20 a roll is steep. I recommend Mijori for a roll place. Favorite spot for roll with ok nigiri. Have toro and uni.

This place is usually so good! The restaurant is clean and staff is nice. I ordered pick up today and as soon as I bit into my roll could feel how fatty the salmon was. This was clearly not sushi grade salmon. I’ve gone to this place for years but may need to find a new spot if this is what’s happening now.
