This place is the best! Huge menu, and incredibly sweet owners. They said the parking lot to the right of the cafe is okay to park in too for up to 1.5 hours, but I parked on the street which was easy to find on a Saturday afternoon. The patio is perfect, with one nicely shaded table and 3 in the sun, and the owners specified that it doesn’t close, so I continued to use the wifi studying past closing time. One note is they don’t take card, but do take venmo.

The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic, perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends or a productive work session. The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. They take the time to recommend brews based on your preferences, and their espresso drinks are simply divine. I highly recommend trying their signature Thornhill latte, which strikes the perfect balance between rich espresso and velvety steamed milk, topped with a hint of sweetness. The selection of pastries is equally impressive. The almond croissant I enjoyed was flaky and buttery, making it the perfect complement to my coffee. They also offer a range of vegan and gluten-free options, ensuring that everyone can find something delicious. It's my favorite place to stop when I'm working in the hills of Oakland. Doesn't seem to matter how many people are in there. You still get us in and out in no time. You're the best!!

Ya'll, this place is great! Awesome coffee, great sandwiches and well-priced for the area. The staff are so welcoming and nice and accommodating. I will be returning here for regular coffee breaks in the future.

Fun little neighborhood coffee shop. The owners are two Vietnamese lady's and hare just wonderful and friendly. So anyway the spring rolls are bomb. I defiantly recommend.
This place instantly made us feel good and welcomed. You can see and taste the care for every detail, from the fluffy egg and delicious ham cheese crossiant to the coffee ice cubes so your iced coffee won't be watered down. This place is superb and wish more took pride in their work and making people feel at home no matter where their from. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
I've stopped at this place twice since I've been in Oakland, first with my brother and then my boyfriend. The owner has been so sweet and kind, she makes all customers feel warm and welcome. Talking with her is like catching up with an old friend. The food and drinks are delicious, and they're made right in front of the customers. The owner puts a lot of love and care into her shop. It's so quaint and beautiful. If I lived in Oakland, I'd be stopping there for food everyday.
This little quaint place in Oakland is a hidden gem! We were exploring the area and stopped by. I have to say that the selection was amazing! Even the regular drip coffee hit the spot on a cold rainy afternoon. The baked goods were great too with the coffee. We had the cupcakes and macaroons. Highly recommended!
Thyda is the best! This place has a small town coffee shop feel. You can pop in and feel welcomed, or stay and sit inside or out while enjoying the friendliness of the owner and her customers. Great food options all made by Thyda and family to order. She’s doing good things here and it’s a great stop for parents as well, since it’s right next to the school.

Could be better. Coffee and the sandwich were very basic. Nice staff. The interior looked outdated. They don't accept credit card. And they have a strange looking hindu statue that made me very uncomfortable.
