Lovely spot for an early dinner whilst people watching at Mermejita beach. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and great food. The mahi mahi steak with sesame crust and coconut rice was 10/10

Ate here a few times recently on our trip. The best steak within the surrounding towns in my mind. The other food was great as well, and wonderful drinks. Looking forward to going again next time I'm in town.

The location, the food, the personnel and the music - all of this contributes to really one of a kind atmosphere in this part of the coast. Best restaurant in Mazunte, hands down. I lived in Mazunte for over a month and tried at least 15 different restaurants. El Chiringuito has it all. Amazing food, amazing ambiance, fair prices. It’s not the cheapest food you’ll find in town but the quality is unparalleled. The garlic butter shrimp, the coriander-encrusted tuna, the cardamom flavored rice. If you’re in Mazunte, treat yourself to a sunset on Mermejita and dinner at El Chiringuito. You won’t regret it.

¡Qué lindo lugar para sentarse, tomar algo y ver la puesta de sol! La atención es buena, el staff, muy amigable, y las bebidas son muy ricas, especialmente el agua de mango con cardamomo. Pedimos un guacamole y estaba superrico, con totopos hechos al momento. Definitivamente vale la pena venir aquí para relajarse.

Desde el primer momento, todo destacó: la comida excepcional, el servicio atento, la música en vivo y una vista inigualable que complementa perfectamente el ambiente. Cada platillo fue de altísima calidad y sabor extraordinario. Los mejillones frescos y llenos de sabor, el pulpo a la gallega perfectamente cocido y el dorado con costra de ajonjolí, una verdadera delicia. Sin duda, uno de los mejores lugares para comer en la zona. Totalmente recomendado.

Restaurant: Dieses Restaurant liegt direkt am Strand, du sitzt mit dem Füßen im Sand während tolle Live Musik gespielt wird, die Sonne über dem Pazifik untergeht und genießt das beste Essen und die besten Drinks die es in Mazunte gibt. Wir haben ein paar Restaurants in und um Mazunte probiert, aber nichts kam an El Chiringuito ran. Die Camarones sind unvergleichlich. Und als ob das alles noch nicht genug ist, ist der Service nicht nur gut sondern ausgezeichnet. Alle sind so nett und aufmerksam und mit Leidenschaft dabei. Komm hier her, wenn du einen unvergesslichen Abend haben willst! Unterkunft: Die kleine Hütte liegt direkt über dem Restaurant und ist ein Traum. Du hast eine kleine Terrasse, eine private Toilette, ein wundervolles halb offenes Bad und einen großzügigen Raum mit einem Schreibtisch, einem Arbeitsplatz direkt am Fenster, einem Kühlschrank, eine Kommode und einem super bequemen Bett mit Moskitonetz und Ventilator. Vom Fenster kannst du Wale und Delfine vorbei schwimmen sehen. Das Restaurant ist Mo-Fr von 16 bis höchstens 22 Uhr geöffnet, in der Zwischenzeit ist das Restaurant dein privates Wohnzimmer. Das Internet in Starlink Internet und wir haben drei Wochen zu zweit Online ohne Probleme gearbeitet. Es war immer top und stabil. Für uns war alles perfekt und wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort in Mazunte vorstellen können! Danke an das ganze Team, ihr habt unsere Zeit in Mazunte so besonders gemacht.

dieses Restaurant direkt am Strand war ein echtes Highlight unseres Urlaubs! Wir saßen mit den Füßen im Sand, während die Sonne langsam im Meer versank – einfach magisch. Das Essen war frisch und köstlich, besonders die Meeresfrüchte waren ein Genuss. Der Service war herzlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Dazu ein kühler Cocktail und die entspannte Atmosphäre – besser kann ein Abend nicht sein! Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die gutes Essen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht genießen möchten.

Lugar a la orilla de la playa. El día que fuimos había un grupo musical y amenizó muy bien la cena. Los alimentos tienen excelente sabor y presentación. La atención de nuestra mesera fue excelente. Celebramos el cumpleaños de un amigo, únicamente falto una velita para su pastel, de ahí en fuera, todo increíble.

El mejor bar del mundo. Tiene un atardecer precioso. En cuanto a la comida, hay una mezcla de tradición española con mexicana y nosotros comimos fenomenal. Es fantástico porque tiene un escenario y actividades culturales como música en directo. El ambiente es estupendo y el servicio super agradable. Nosotros pedimos el pescado del día con puré de papa y camarones.

Este lugar es una joyita oculta. Fui con mi familia y estabamos buscando un lugarsito alejado de las playas más concurridas de Mazunte. Llegamos al Chiringuito un poco temerosos por que sólo tenía 17 recomendaciones y todas con 5 estrellas, lo que nos pareció sospechoso. Sin embargo, llegaron nuestros platos de comida y ¡oh sorpresa! Los reviews de Google eran acertados, la comida es maravillosa, todo estuvo riquísimo. Probamos la pesca del día (pez vela), la hamburguesa de Portobello y la hamburguesa de pulpo. Tudo estuvo excelente. Al final probamos de postre unas torrejas españolas que igualmente fueron maravillosas. Recomendamos altamente ese lugar, el servicio y la comida son increíbles. Sin mencionar que la playa es hermosa y perfecta para ver un atardecer.

Este lugar es increíble. Esta al fondo de la playa más salvaje 🤍 y es una locura caminar por la playa oscura, sin luz casi q en medio de la nada jajajjaa pero es una experiencia sin duda. Amamos y es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos aquí.

Buen lugar para apreciar el atardecer, un poco escondido, pero la localización bien lo vale, increibles olas y como rompen en la playa. La comida esta muy rica y las aguas frescas igual estan sabrosas. Vale la pena la caminata.

El lugar es rústico y sobre la playa de arena negra Mermejita. Los mejores atardeceres los puedes ver desde esta locación comiendo delicioso y con una chelita bien fría. No dejen de visitarlos. Pd:los precios algo elevados pero no encuentras otro sitio sobre la playa con esta vibe y este sazón!

Muy bonito lugar, privilegiado para la puesta de sol, cocina con mezcla española/mexicana, buena atención, tienen baño ecológico que me dejó sorprendida, atienden en verano de 4 a 11 pm, precios medios a altos, porciones medias pero quedas satisfecho, cobran 7% extra en pagos con tarjeta, y 10% extra a mesas con 6 personas o más por el servicio, suelen tener 1 a 2 horas de música o algún show, el concepto es fresco, hippie y divertido, encuentras gente de todo el mundo, el dueño es español y le dá duro a la deliciosa cocina, la lonja de marlín con puré rústico de patatas es una delicia, la salsa de entrada para picar es fabulosa, no imaginas que es de cacahuate, ajo y chile, simple y riquísima... vayan!!!

The drinks were brilliant (even the agua del dia, we had mango and cardamom and it was incredible!) and the food was great too (octopus was delicious). What a beautiful spot!! Although not an ‘authentic’ Mexican spot this was by far the highest standard and quality of food & drinks we had during a visit to Mazunte. We tried the Ceviche, Garlic Prawns, Galician Octopus and Burger, the Vermouth and the Mezcalitas. I have food allergies and they took extra care with the dishes to make sure they were safe to eat, including making a special ceviche for me! Not to mention the atmosphere, this little shack on the beach is so full of warmth, kindness and welcoming energy, me and my family felt completely at home. We visited twice, and the second time there was live music for a few hours which only added extra charm - to see a whole community come together to support each other and have fun! Thoroughly recommend!!

Stumbled upon this place looking for el copal and so glad we came here instead. The most incredible bar and restaurant right on the beach. Honestly as if this setting wasn't enough the cocktails (mango and cardamom/Lime mezcalitas) were amazing and the food absolutely delicious (incredible value for 250 pesos). Staff/owners absolutely lovely. Not a bad word to say!

I love the place. The atmosphere and view are amazing. The service is super friendly. The drinks were awesome. The pulpo perfect, but the portion was too small for me - could have eaten two. This place saved our life. We stayed at a hotel up the beach whose restaurant was closed without notice and El Chiringuito is basically the only place that serves food around here. However - not a problem - the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Camarones! Also the people are super friendly, know English and watching them work and talk with each other made us want to quit our jobs and join them. As a result we came here every evening of our stay and although it's a bit pricey always looked forward to dinner. Muchas Gracias! ❤️

Excelente lugar para disfrutar el mejor espectáculo natural de la puesta del sol! La comida es también excelente!! El mezcal Uff! Original y artesanal!! Solo creo necesitan más personal para agilizar el servicio a las mesas, ya que normalmente se llena y como dicen por acá, en la jerga restaurantera, se encamotan! 7% de comisión si pagas con tarjeta! Muy recomendable!! Y una mención especial al personal que se la rifa machín y siempre amables!! Vientos carnales y carnalas del Staff!!

Es lugar muy bonito ,solo si logras hacer una reservacion cerca de la playa tendrás una bonita vista tienes que llevar tus propias bebidas y una hilera,sombrilla

Food service is very slow; don't order the ceviche - no favour and a puny portion for the price: on the menu $250 but on the bill $300 :( That was disappointing. We visited twice to enjoy sunset, had food the second time. The mussels and the octopus were delicious! There was also live music on which made for a buzzy atmosphere. Unfortunately the staff were a bit overwhelmed on the second evening so the service was extremely slow.

NO VAYAS SI ERES MEXICANO Fui con mi familia de vacaciones a Mazunte y nos recomendaron este lugar por su rica comida, lastimosamente solo tienen buena comida, el sabor es bueno pero las porciones muy pequeñas le dan prioridad a los extranjeros, se tardan como una hora en entregarte tu comida y otra hora en entregarte la cuenta y se justifican diciendo que su sistema tiene "fallos". ES PREFERIBLE COMER EN EL CENTRO DE MAZUNTE. EL SERVICIO EN HORRIBLE Y MUY LENTO. ÁDEMAS ES DEMASIADO CARO PARA LO QUE OFRECEN.

Nos hospedamos en una habitación arriba del bar, que decir…sólo una buena vista, sin wifi ( lo solicitamos expresamente) mosquiteros rotos, entraron mil bichos, el ventilador hacia el ruido de una turbina de avión, había una estructura de bambo en la cama, no estaba fijada y se callo sobre la cama, suerte que no estábamos sino nos arruinaba las vacaciones, podría seguir pero no vale la pena Ozcar el dueño no fue honesto

Last week we decided to give this place another try. We ordered 4 drinks. My friends were served but I finally had to point to my drink that had been sitting on the bar for at least 10 minutes while the server took photos and talked with friends. The week before I ordered a Filet cooked medium. It came out very rare and very cold in the middle. The photo shows how the 3 burgers we ordered cooked medium on our 2nd visit arrived. It was dark enough so we couldn’t see what we were eating until a flashlight was turned on. Our server didn’t came back to check on us and it went downhill from there. A woman I presume to be the owner came and sat down next to us. She said mistakes happen and we should all be having fun. She offered us a shot of mescal or desert as compensation. She proceed to try to charm us but really blew it. 3 of us left after eating less than half our meal. I have 22 years experience in the restaurant industry most of that time was in the kitchen. I was taught to comp a meal if a customer was justifiably dissatisfied. She offered a 10% discount after admitting they messed up. If you go for the sunset I’d suggest you have a drink then go back to town to eat. Many places in town, know how to cook a burger properly. P.S. My wife did like the portabella burger.

I went there for couple drinks I check the price before I order it it say one price after few drinks my husband and I ask for the check when we got it it was tree times the price the we saw in their drink menu I ask the server and she said no someone made a mistake it wasn't the right price reallyyyy someone made the mistake well we end up paying I didn't care about the money I just piss me off people try to play Stupid.. Prices are ike I'm in Hawaii not in Mexico ..please make sure you check prices well don't matter their don't care they will still charge whatever they want ... beautiful sunset you paying for it.

Nachdem die leider unfreundlichen Bedienungen fast 30 Minuten an uns vorbeigelaufen sind und uns mehrfach ignoriert haben, haben wir ewig auf das Essen (1,5h Stunden) gewartet, welches dann kalt ankam. Das Essen war leider auch nicht gut, selten so eine langweilige Guacamole bekommen und die Nachos schmeckten wie Tage lang offen stehen gelassen. Musik war so laut dass wir uns umsetzen mussten und selbst dann konnte man sich nicht unterhalten, außer wenn man sich gegenseitig anschreit. Schade, da das Ambiente schön ist, das war dann aber auch das einzig positive an diesem Laden.

The servers were friendly and the location is great but the food was bad - especially for the price. We sent both dishes back, virtually untouched, as they had a strange smell and we still paid the full bill.

Solo quisiera aconsejar a la proprietaria que baje los precios ya que la calidad ni la dimension de los platos son a la altura. La paella es un arroz pasado terrible y con dos camarones adentro a 250 pesos!!..las cervez IPA de lata y servida caliente en un pinche vaso de plastico a 90 pesos!!! Por favor ententa entregar calidad en cada servicio y antes todo deja aprendere a los cocinero a cocinar.. sobre y todo la paella! El pescado no estaba mal pero’ la porcion es ridicula en fish and loveq por el precio t dan un pescado entero!

La dueña nos empezó a gritar de manera innecesaria, se supone que debería de dar un servicio a sus propios clientes y todo lo contrario. Se justificó echándole también la culpa a una de sus mesaras diciendo que era su “primer día” un comportamiento totalmente inaceptable.
