I just found my new favorite place in Ocoee! If you love pastries, if you love good fresh food, if you love a chill atmosphere w great customer service you have to try Mecatos Bakery and Cafe! There are sooo many choices and everything is delicious and baked fresh. They also have sandwiches, salads, arepas, empanadas, and so much more!! If I take time to leave a review please believe it was a mind blowing experience. BTW they also have happy hour and live music on certain days 🤗 Yancarlos was very helpful and knowledgeable w the items and helping me pick my first items here.

Don't go there if you want to avoid tremendous bread and pastry options! The quesitos are to die for and freshly made throughout the day! Hot food items are extraordinary as well...great place!

The ham, egg and cheese croissant was absolutely amazing! And the coffee is right there too! Jostin waited on us and he was friendly and helpful in ordering exactly what we wanted. This is a.favorite for sure! Stop in you won’t be disappointed.

We were passing through Ocoee yesterday during rush hour and decided to get out of the traffic, come sit down and have a coffee and treat; enjoy our time instead. We were so pleased we did! Our first time in and everything was wonderful; the service, the cleanliness, the food and coffee. Your place is impeccable! We had such a wonderful experience, we're already planning our next trip in. Yancarlos was amazing! He explained some baked goods to us, gave us a little sample, and when we ordered half a dozen, he had them made fresh for us and ready when we were done enjoying our small treats and coffees. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable experience! We truly can't wait to return!

Everyone here is great since day one! I come here aleast 3 to 4 time a weeks so everyone knows me, and even know my order. You guys are great and close to my job.

If I could have given 10 stars I would have! This place is absolutely amazing. Yancarlos made me feel comfortable asking questions as this was my second time in Mecatos and I wanted to know what some things were. He answered all my questions with ease, he was extremely polite, professional, and had a smile the entire time. The food is phenomenal. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious!!! Yancarlos even took the time to tell me about the drinks and helped me pick a really good one! The environment is welcoming and clean. One other thing…they do not skimp on the portions at all either!!!

Best breakfast place that I’ve ever been to. The coffee that Leonardo made was spectacular, the best service I had. Recommend a 100%.

We have been coming to Mecatos for over two years. We LOVE it here. Leo and Justin are absolutely incredible, super attentive and the food is AMAZING.

Stopped by just before lunch time and got the breaksfast croissant. It was delicious with a flaky soft croissant and fresh eggs and veggies. The bacon was done perfectly. My cup of coffee was just perfection. I’ve been to their other location on kirkman but only through the drive through but I’m glad I went inside this location because the insides was beautiful. Definitely looked like the perfect spot for a relaxed date or a hangout with friends. The selection of bakery items looked so tempting I had to grab the napoleon as well. Definitely have to come back for their happy hour deals, it’s great that they serve cocktails and beer. Great atmosphere, great food and Great service!

So glad we stopped here for dinner! Wanted to try somewhere new in Ocoee, this has been our favorite restaurant so far! Tons of options on the menu from breakfast to dinner and desserts. We both got an iced coffee, very bold flavor as I'd expect from Colombia! Our food was outstanding - we both got Arepas, I got a Carne Asada and my friend got Eggs & Chorizo. The Arepa was like a rich, corn-flour biscuit, like the best home-made biscuit I've ever had! Stuffed full of cheese and steak, it was the perfect dinner. I also tried a piece of my friend's Chorizo and want to go back for more! We also took home a Guava Pastry for dessert later, of course it was delicious. There are so many amazing desserts on display, it would take months to try them all! Service was excellent and the interior was spotlessly clean and welcoming. Mecato's Bakery & Cafe is a wonderful asset to the Orlando community. I recommend them any time of day and will be a customer for life!

This place has the best coffee: I always recommend it to my coworkers, and, when I’m in town, I make it here multiple times a week! The food is great, the atmosphere is very low-key, and the staff are super friendly. If you come in the morning, Jostin is always willing to answer any questions & provide suggestions: I’ve yet to be disappointed in his recommendations! This place is outstanding and I will keep coming here, whether that’s for a morning pastry or an early-evening coffee!

Mecatos is SO MUCH BETTER than I could’ve ever expected! Ocoee is very lucky to have such an awesome bakery in town. If you’ve not been here yet, you need to very soon! This is a Colombian bakery that has all sorts of incredible pastries, coffee, arepas, cachapas, empanadas, sandwiches, cakes, and other breakfast and lunch items! It is very reasonably-priced and the food is fantastic! The people working behind the counter are great and they can help you decide if you are struggling. We got a carne asada arepa with avocado added to it, a chorizo cachapa, café con leche, and a Nutella pan de bono (pan de bono is a Colombian cheese bread…it is to die for). Everything was so, so good - the cheese they use is amazing and the flavor was just perfect. We loved everything and will be coming back many more times to try all sorts of different food from their menu!

Delicious and beautiful! I can't believe I never found this amazing bakery before. Mecatos has it all, delicious desserts, beautiful atmosphere, and every single one of the employees is cheerful, helpful, and all around wonderful. They truly made my first visit special. The Tiramisu and Coconut Pie were delicious. The Merengue is extra large and full of flavor. But, the Tropical Basket/pie was so beautifully colorful that I didn't even want to eat it, but I'm glad I did! It was a slice of paradise! All of the fruit was delightfully sweet. Give Mecatos a try, you won't be disappointed.

Leo has served my husband and I every time we’ve visited the ocoee location and his kindness and willingness to please his customers is truly unmatched. He has made every visit very pleasant and we never mind waiting for our food because the customer service here alone is 5 stars!

Omg the pan de Bono sooo good que delicia!! The breakfast arepa was so good I couldn't finish it all. Empanada de carne surprisingly was good the ají was so good the right spice. Un poco picante pero so good. Jose services was amazing it's was my first time and he explained everything. Deff coming back.. muchas gracias !!!!

I went here last weekend with a friend. Once I walked through the door I was greeted by a customer associate. I sat in the lounge area and the chairs were comfortable. The ambience was relaxing. I ordered an avocado toast with a chai latte. My friend ordered a cake. I will attach a photo. If anyone knows what is is, leave a comment! Had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Mecatos is an excellent Columbian pastry and café. We stopped by after our morning walk and discovered this gem. Excellent pastries and the coffee is delicious. Too many amazing pastries to choose from here. You can easily just close your eyes and pick anything and whatever it is, it will be fantastic.

The pan de bono was warm and cheesy heaven, and the beer empanadas were simply out of this world. Every bite tasted authentic and fresh. The coffee (Arabic) was amazing too — imported directly from Colombia and roasted locally, it was the perfect finish to the meal. The environment is clean, the ambience is inviting, and the staff were all so amazing and helpful, making me feel right at home. Definitely worth the trip — I’ll be back again and again!

Of course because I'm mexican I had to have salsa picante ( hot sauce ) it was homemade and with the perfect kick and abundance of flavors. We live an hour away and will be making a tril back regularly. Gracias Mecatos por esta chimba experiencia.

I had the wonderful experience of having an afternoon lunch at Mecatos (Ocoee) . From the moment I approached the entrance, I observed several customers thoroughly enjoying their meals in an al fresco setting. A true community vibe. I mentioned to the proprietor (Jimmy) that this was my first visit. He and his wife (Sonea) made me feel welcomed by taking the time to share the distinctive food and beverages on the menu. I tried several items suggested, knowing I was going to have some leftovers for evening snacks. The latte was excellent. Also, the Arepa Mecatos was joy in every bite. I'm a fan of Empanadas, so there was no doubt that I would order one--absolute heaven. The Pandebono was also outstanding. I was made to feel that my presence was valued, so much so that I know I will be returning soon. For now, I would highly recommend you put Mecatos on your map for an unforgettable dining experience.

They make consistently excellent Cappuccino!! The Guava pastry is very good !!! The burger is massive & delicious!! I have enjoyed all the food I have tried !! Huge selection of gorgeous desserts !! It is my go to coffee place in Ocoee !

First time at this establishment. Plenty of sitting, nice set up. You order food on the counter. Limited menu options but plenty of bakery items. I had their Colombian Hamburger combo, size is large, cooked well.

Service was great. The only thing the need to work on is on the assembly of the food. Idk if they rush to get the food out in time but ruching makes it look horrible. But it tasted really good 👍🏼 just keep an eye on how the food it’s presented to the customer.
