Always fast service, fresh & delicious & has always been my very favorite go to comfort food. I literally could eat their food 7 days a week!😄
A visit home isn't complete without two combination burritos with red sauce and sour cream. I can't get this anywhere else. San Antonio has nothing as good as this anywhere.
Had breakfast. Egg sausage and cheese burrito was delicious and a full meal. Manager was taking orders. He was very accommodating
An Odessen favorite. If you try one thing from this town, this is on that list. Kind and friendly people, quick service, great food. If you aren't into meat, order a bean cup!
Always love this place. Their fries are the best in town and everything else is awesome too. Always friendly staff!
Great fast food. Always good service. I eat here at least once a week.
My family and I love this Taco Villa! We eat here frequently. The food is good and the service is always great. Ashley and Edna are amazing. They are always friendly and do an excellent job!
It's Taco Villa at It's greatest. Food was good like normal and the person who took my order went above and beyond for me!
I can honestly say, Taco Villa got even better. My Crispy 🌮 was packed with meat, veggies, and cheese. Not to mention my Combo Burrito was the same way. Thank you Taco Villa. Well worth the money now.
After a long day, it's refreshing to know that good customer service still exists in Odessa. Thank you to Kiesha, Donna, Avel, and Christian who is a manager for your sincere dedication to provide outstanding customer service to your customers! Each of these employees approached me with a smile and an eagerness to get me taken care of. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! Thankyou for a job well done..
I grew up in Odessa and so like most Odessans, I was partially raised on Taco Villa. In 2016 I moved to Dallas and now when I come back to visit I have to have Taco Villa. There are a lot of fast food Tex-Mex places in Dallas but none of them have quite the same flavor! This place is great for a quick and cheap meal, and my personal favorite is the bean burrito.
There was an employee that greeted nd held both doors open for my family, to keep us from getting wet from the cold rain. Then the clerk was very accommodating. And went out of his way to please my the teast Bud's. And the nice lady when leaving the restaurant was kind to say, have a good day.
I came in and hade 3 separate orders. Angel helped me organize them to minimize confusion. I really appreciate his help. He went above and beyond. Great customer service!!!!!!!
YUM! Just had Food from TACO VILLA. It was perfect for our Mexican food craving. Ordering, pick-up with absolutely no mistakes and was quick and still hot by the time we got home. Grew up just north of the border AZ and this food so much like the authentic Mex food there. We had combo burritos, steak tacos and the Taco Rito (like that franchise taco place discontinued as the double decker only way better/fuller). Double Yum dessert must have—sopapillas!
So, for decades this has been my must go every time I visit West Texas. It's been consistent every single time and I love it. The prices have topped out though and need to come back down just a little bit.
Today, after ordering in the drive thru ......I relized i forgot to grab more money for our meal and was going to go home and grab the money and come back to pay......the young lady at the window called over the manager and he found a way to lower out total to what we had with some change!! Thank you, both of you!! Saved me time and a trip and it as very nice of you both!!! God bless!
Very friendly staff and very accommodating. A big thank you to Cynthia for putting up with my big order early in the morning. Will definitely be coming back!
I love the service here! I wish I new her name, but i don't. She is very welcoming and has a VERY POSITIVE ATTITUDE! GOOD FOOD TOO.
Good TeX mex for a good price. No I would not call this "Mexican" food. If u r expecting authentic you will be disappointed. But tastes yummy and they have a great cheap fajita salad
Had an issue with my order once. They gave me the area managers number. He took care if it and asked me to let him know how the service was thr next few times I went. Haven't had an issue since.
Grew up on Taco Villa ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!! Tried the ones in Lubbock they are awful but of course they aren't the original Taco Villa (they are only in Odessa) everytime I'm in Odessa I have to get alot of burritos to bring back home with me. Wish there were more here in FT Worth area. LOVE MY TACO VILLA
Best tacos I ever had at Taco Villa today! So fresh and delicious. Excellent service at the register, happy, friendly lady at the register. Great atmosphere.
Great Fast Food Delicious Guadalajara The Staff is always smiling and very kind but Edna goes beyond to make sure your happy with your food she's very nice and friendly & The Restaurant is always clean.
This location is great friendly service The location on Faudree not so great very rude Beware water is now 1 79 no free water cups I get 50 cents but 1 79
I had a little experience with taco Villa on my order I call lupita one of the managers and she was very polite very nice and made my order write without any questions she is one of the many people that deserves a 5-star rating
Stopped in for the first time. Could not write this review fast enough. Edna was working the counter and waited on me. She is absolutely amazing! So sweet and was helping keep things moving at a very busy time. Hands down the best customer service I have seen since arriving in Odessa a week ago! The food is great as well! Will definitely be back! Edna, I hope you read these reviews and know that you made my day! You rock!
The food is always fast and delicious, and the guy working the drive-thru speaker during the days makes for an INCREDIBLE experience. He should be on the radio.
What to do when your hungry, want a bargain and good food. You choose Taco Villa. I think this is the best fit for the mentioned. And one of their associates named Edna is out of this world awesome. She’s always concerned with your order. Comes to your table and offers to refill drinks. Top list of my area favorites!
The personality here is amazing. I'm greeted with a smile upon walking in. They always make sure my order is correct! On top of that the food is amazing. Great team and my favorite person Edna who is nothing short of an absolute gem of a woman! Don't ever change Taco Villa.
I graduated from High School in Odessa. We went to Taco Villa almost daily. I can tell you that even after 30 years, their quality and consistency remain. Everything tasted exactly like I remembered! The service was quick and the food was hot. That's hard to do in a fast food chain. I visited several times while I was in town and loved it!
Keisha was so so friendly. Can’t find that kinda of genuine care just anywhere. Thank you for an excellent meal. A Permian Basin classic. Edna B was also so friendly during my visit on 4/12!!
Recently returned to Odessa where I grew up. It was just like I remebered as a kid. So good. The bean burrito with red sauce took me back to high school. Staff was warm and friendly. So happy to see Taco Villa survive after all these years!
Kelly is a really star!! She was quick in taking our order and willing to help with our take out and dine in order. Kelly is AWESOME!! And Kenya even stopped by to ask us if we needed anything too! Great service.
I haven't been back to Odessa in 13 years & our family gathered there tonight to see each other, because my favorite place to eat is at Taco Villa. It's always my first and last stop when I'm in town. It was the best experience and everyone was very welcoming! Thank y'all so very much!
The hospitality was through the roof. Very amazed with the staff at this location. Edna did not hesitate to ask about our dining experience, and left a great impression for Taco Villa. I'm sure Edna would make Bobby Cox proud. I recommend this restaurant over Taco Bell.
Miss Edna was great. Suggested putting guacamole on my tacos, which I love and NEVER thought about doing. Was out of this world good. Glad I stopped in tonight and ate there. Always go there to get my tea and tacos. But now they will have guacamole on them too. Miss Edna was a very hard working and very sweet cordial lady and I personally think she should get a raise. She and everybody else was very friendly and if I didn't go there all the time before I would start now. Great people and food, course I've been a fan since 68 when they first opened on 8th.
Keisha is very personable. Thanks given for Veterans. Walked around the restaurant to ensure the patrons were taken care of during their meals. Restaurant was very clean. I'll definitely be back! Thank you!
I got the Carne asada taco salad. And it was really good, they put a lot of meat which I liked. Most places are stingy with meat, but Taco Villa did a great job putting on the meat.
Permian Basin's version of Taco Bell. But better. Much better. There are levels of salsa (made fresh daily), plus local versions of most of your favorites from the national chain. The food is good, and the for most part, the service is good (an oddity in Odessa).
Stopped to grab us some yummy taco burgers and bean and cheese burritos... one of my favorite places and smcustomer service is great too. Never had any trouble and the red sauce i could swim in its so good
I grew up with Taco Villa, all the way until we moved to Round Rock Tx (Austin) it was awesome. We ordered a survival pack of bean burritos to take back with us. Really miss it a lot. The food and service was great. The best is always fries with a burrito and the Hot sauce which has not changed and is still in the same containers from when they first opened the first store on 8th street. Wish they would build one here. Glad it has stuck around for a long time.
The food was good Eric is moving like a boss!! Every time I’m in town I come to this Taco Bell
The workers are always friendly, food made ti order.
Edna!! We’ve never been to Taco Villa and Edna was very patient with us and explained all the options. I don’t know what they are paying her but it’s not enough. Thank you for a great first experience we will be back.
Thank u Jonathan for taking our order and getting it right and thank you Mexican lady for making sure that all our items were in the bag plus napkins, straws, and sauce highly recommend
Service here was awesome!!! Food was fresh and tasted good. Ramon the manager was very welcoming and very polite will be coming back again!
I ate luch here today at Taco Villa on 42nd Street. I lost my granson September of last year and seeing all of high school students made my heart. That was until an employee named Keisha walked by and asked if I was okay.. I wasn’t singled out she just had a gentle spirit and gave off positive energy. She is an asset to this business because I seen she took the time to speak yo customers in the dining. I’ll definitely b back!
Robert is friendly courteous and such lovely manners. Your bathroom was extremely clean. Amazing visit. I'll be back again and again. Thank you.
These people are always polite, friendly and familiar. Less turnover than most fast restaurants so the faces you see stay there and are familiar. Drive through is ALWAYS the fastest in town. Faster than McDonald’s if even chikfila. Food is always delicious and hit and your order will be correct also. They serve breakfast but are full menu. Keep it up taco Villa. A true hometown original.
Edna Marie was sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was great! Stopped in 30 minutes before closing with our work crew and we were not expecting to be greeted so kindly AND the food was delicious too. Great team behind the counter. I watched the manager treat her workers kindly and with respect and she got the same in return. Very impressed all around. Ladies room could use some work but still 10/10 overall.
I love the fresh tomatoes, lettuce and cheese on the crispy tacos..The combination burrioto is very good. The heart shaped chips are very good. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Service was fast and very reasonably priced..i always go to One of two Taco Villas when i drive out to Odessa/ Midland from Dallas
First time I ate st Taco Villa was in 1975, many years later, not much has changed, still really good food and good service, always a favorite place for a quick meal
Fast food, great flavor and better than the one that makes a dinging noise and doesn't give me extra time in the bathroom. I like Taco Villa almost as much as Taco C.
It was good tortillas where quite hard arpund the edges idk if they where getting old or what but i havent ever had that on my burrito. Besides that food was great along with service
It's Taco Villa, been around forever but since they opened back up after shutting down in the late 80's, they're just not the same. Different tasting food but still alright. Update... yeh you guessed it, still the same.
Tacos and burritos very good. The chips are heart shaped and very good. Prices are very reasonable. Great Variety. Overall great experience.
I go here for the large sweet tea with extra ice. It's most always fresh .. hence the extra ice that ends up being barely because the tea is fresh made 😋 I have to have a minimum of 2 a day 🙃
It was really delicious here, I had the loaded nachos this time and they were bomb, I get alot of different stuff here though, just depends on my mood. Theu have really good salsa here to and a bunch of different kinds on the indoor salsa bar including habaneros, they even have raw habaneros if your brave enough, not me though that's just too spicy lol. This place is an Odessa and Midland staple that people that grew up here on travel back here long distances for to eat at and take a bunch of their signature salsa home with them!
Food is good. Fast friendly service. Clean dining area.
A lot of people like Taco Villa. On my one and only visit I found it clean and friendly. The good was good and service was reasonable fast. But the one on Odessa is located on a busy intersection so I found it hard to get in and out. Fairly easy if you are going the right direction but otherwise not so much.
Awesome locally owned Mexican/American fast food chain. Their crunchy tacos are some of the best around. My personal go-to is the supreme chicken burrito with green sauce. Their biscuits and gravy are surprisingly good - I wish they served them all day. Their hot sauce is pretty bomb, too, so make sure to ask for plenty.
Love their biscuits, but hate how they continuously forget some item or another. It has happened every single time ive visited.
My order is always correct, hot, and fresh. However alot of the time the presentation of the food is not so good. It appears to be just thrown together, sloppy.
Some of the people who work there don’t realize how they come off to people they serve or how much customers can hear when they are talking to coworkers they need to be more careful about what they say because they are heard by the people they serve
Im not a fan of the taco villa. My wife thinks it's sent fron heaven. However, when we eat here, the ole taco burgers are my go to. Just order a few, they go down fast.
Most of the other Taco Villas in town are better than this location. Several occasions food has come out dripping grease. I wish they would get in line with the other stores.
Employees handling money doesn’t know how to count. Had a bill that was 16.09 gave 101.10 they game me change of 84.91.
This is ok for fast food but it's a little pricey for what they give you. The food has a great taste nut very small portions. I was shocked 2 burritos, 2 tacos and 1 drink came out to $18. I think taco bell has better portions and prices......but the drive through line was much shorter here lol!
Good, need more training for substitutions. Bean burritos are getting smaller and smaller. Not the tortilla, just getting a little skinny thing now. I believe you've changed the formula for the tortillas too, they used to be better. At least the salsa and taco burger has stayed the same. The fries were better than usual. Improve the making of your bean burritos, I want to eat more than just the tortilla, and go back to the recipe you had before, for your tortillas. Where's the cheese? It's almost non existent. I noticed the difference because I havent eaten here in over a year. Pictured here is my sweet granddaughter. She said your food is amazing.
Great food but the last two times I ask for extra hot sauce and they never give me any at all. They act like the hot sauce is made out of gold.
It is ok. Not great, but not terrible. A little expensive for what you get, customer service could be better. I probably won't ever go to another one unless I'm starving and it's my only choice. Three stars is too much of a rating so I give it a 2.3 stars for hungry tired people that just just want to feed the kids.
Never get any napkins when going through the drive thru. Huh..mind blown.
First time at We just moved here from California. Def not what we are used to, it's basically a different version of taco bell. I personally do not like the giant tomatoes. There's nothing "mexi" about the fries. They are just chili cheese fries. Service was in the drive thru and was great!
I ordered nachos they were ok but the tomatoes slices they gave me were so translucent and disgusting and the lettus were kinda old i couldn't even finish it amd the sweet tea was not even sweet they need to get it together
Always great food. They seriously need to put napkins and eating utensils in drive thru bags! I have had a problem with this multiple times even when I ask did you put in bag and they say yes, then nothing. Ridiculous.
Over 40 years loving Taco Villa. Everytime I come to Odessa I stop in. Last 2 of Three trips times I have ordered a side of the red sauce it has been thinned down. Very disappointing! You should know that we know you are doing it.. STOP DOING THAT!!
Visited this place a couple of days ago because I sorta like Taco Bell and my kids don't so I saw they had curly fries, which my kids love. I thought their chicken tacos would be good for my kids too. Anyway, we dined in. The service was good. The clerk was nice. The atmosphere is good. It was empty, which should have been a red flag. The ground beef looks like dog food. The chicken tacos were cold. It seemed like they got everything out of the fridge and served it to us. The chicken flavor was not bad but it was cold. The lettuce and cheese were good. Tha salsa was so so. The tortillas were not homemade. The bean chalupa was good. Would I go back? Maybe if I crave the bean chalupa again. Other than that, I loved their large coke with lots of ICE and the curly fries were good.
I leave 2 stars because the line did go rather quickly. However, when you're only putting a sliver of meat on a cracked shell, it probably doesn't take very long 😪 Businesses have really become lazy and do not care about quality in the Permian Basin! There is so much money thrown around and no one is standing up to these eating establishments about not getting what we are paying for. If the workers would be honest and tell us they're not going to give us a fair amount for the price, then we could pay less for getting less. But no, they take full amount for less food!
Ordered a chalupa. Guess their chalupas are what I'd call a tostada. Been here 5 or 6 times when I need to eat quick and haven't had anything great yet. Going elsewhere from now on.
The burger i got by itself was $2.99 which was equivalent to a small cheese burger, i got the meal with a drink it came to like $9 smh. Way too over priced for such a small portion of food. Smh. Never again
Usually it's good for a quick meal, tonight was the worst ever got 2 burritos and both were cold, tortilla was falling apart where it seemed as if they pulled out the freezer and served it, oh well just threw them in trash and called it a lost.
Fast but if you need forks or something make sure u ask… apparently if you order cheese fries you would think you’d get a fork but no you gotta make sure u ask for one.
No mexican rice at a mexican food restaurant--REALLY?! Ridiculous!!! I couldn't get a spoon out of the dispenser. Unbelievable! They definitely need a bigger variety of vegetarian options on the menu.
My husband ask for more taco sauce because he was only given 1 and the guy in the drive threw got a big attitude when my husband ask for more. Also he only got 2 taco burgers when he asked for 3. This place has really gone down hill.
I'm not a satisfied custoemer. Not sure how I had 4 cars ahead of me in the drive thru and all I had ordered was the combo #1 and to have to wait in line for an unnecessary amount of time and my fries were either Burnt or old.(going with burnt) and they put it in a Togo box.
Normal Taco Bell is fairly consistent but at 42nd and Grandview yesterday around 4 p.m. going through the drive-thru picked up order when we got home some items were not even in the bag totally missing then the taco shells were soggy no crunch had to chew them.there's no reason to pay these prices and have people not care what they serve you.
This was the 4th time i was there at 630 and they were not ready for customers. I pulled up today at 6:32 and two people were in the Drive-Thru waiting at the speaker so I decided to go inside I went in all the lights were off in the dining area I sat there for a minute before someone finally came out turn the lights on and took my order I look over to the drive window and I see nobody even has headsets on and no one even knows there's two people waiting in line and they haven't done anything yet... one of the people in the drive line came inside toi order... and told them they're people in line waiting.. this was at 6:35.. i think if you open at 6:30 you should be able to start serving... not still be prepping
Talk about piss poor customer service, the girl at the register just shorted her register and told the honest customer trying to give the money back that she went to school and knows how to add, then just walked away. She needs to be fired along with the entire staff working tonight.
I always ask for extra cheese and re sauce on my burritos at 42nd location they never add it but always charge you the quality from every other taco is fine but this one is garbage!
It is quite literally the trashcan of all Taco Villa's. Only good thing about this place was the cashier. She was friendly and humorous. All the tables were dirty, the bathrooms were horrid, and the drink station was a mess. The floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. Just a disgusting restaurant.
I guess I’ve finally had enough. I ordered a beef fajita burrito. It had a price tag on it of $8.39. With a price like that you’d think it would be amazing. But it was just another over priced rip off. It was actually smaller than all of their other burritos, meat was cold, and pico de gallo was about as fresh as Stripes. If this burrito were full, fresh and hot, it might be worth $4.00. They’ve done nothing but jack up their prices over the last several years, but lowered the quality of food they serve. I’m done. Taco Villa like the good old days is long gone.
This worker girl with small eyebrows was being disrespectful to me and my friend having bad attitude
I have made it a habit at every restaurant that I eat at to check my items before leaving. The employee tried to argue with me about the missing items until I pulled everything out of the bag to show him. At that point the "manager" stepped in saying my order wasn't ready yet and that I shouldn't have gotten it yet. She stated he was training and was too busy watching everyone else to catch him. Her attitude displayed more irritation with me for checking my order than with the employee.
Went to Taco Villa in Midland yesterday and had the BEST breakfast burrito. So enjoyable that I decided to go again today. But went to the one in Odessa. They charged me $5 per burrito and this is what I got, not even half way full burrito. I understand prices have gone up but to change $5 for this? Extremely disappointed.
Never thought I would be putting a bad review for Taco Villa this was the worst experience I have ever had... the salsa bar was empty plus the limes were old and beginning to rot.. the cashier was rude and didn't know what he was doing his name was Irrian he was trying to argue for everything we were ordering... will not be going back to this location
