PCH Gourmet Hotdogs is a popular spot known for its delicious and affordable hot dogs with fresh ingredients. The Tijuana dog and chili cheese fries are highly recommended. Customers praise the friendly service and quick preparation.
Tip: Try the Tijuana Dog for amazing flavors and the chili cheese fries. Be aware that outdoor seating is the only option, so plan accordingly for the weather.
Pacific Coast Hot Dogs is a solid spot when you’re craving classic comfort food. The hot dogs have a great snap and the toppings are generous, especially on favorites like the Tijuana Dog or chili cheese options. Lots of hot dog options to choose from. Everything is cooked fresh, portions are filling, and the prices feel fair for what you get. The vibe is casual and laid-back with outdoor seating, making it a great stop for a quick lunch or relaxed bite. Service is friendly and while it can get busy at peak times, the food is worth the wait. If you’re in the area and want a dependable hot dog spot, this is the place🌭
Had a New York Hotdog, which I enjoyed very much, and Chili Cheese Fries. Only outdoor seating is available and it was very windy when I went so I was trying to hold everything down while I ate. No frills & affordable. Good service, too. Will eat here again on a non-windy day.
This hot dog stand is one of those spots where you always pass by when you are in the area and if you are not a local like me, just always curious and never visit! Well it’s been at least 2-3 years and on Wednesday was the day! I had a meeting in the area and needed to grab a bite to eat before my meeting. Should I go to Carls or Pacific Coast? PCHot Dogs definitely brings you back the 90s and simply love the nostalgia feeling. This spot has 8 different hot dog styles, classic fries with chili or cheese or both. So many different milk shakes and honestly felt guilty not taking my kids to enjoy a Thrifty Ice Cream. I am that type that orders a bunch of stuff and takes it home for the kids and hubby to enjoy. I got their chili cheese dog, bbq bacon dog and Tijuana dog. To me, bbq bacon dog was the ugliest looking hot dog but omg, it tasted sooooo good. Topped with a pickle spear was perfection. Instantly fell in love. The other dogs were delicious but that bbq bacon dog simply put me under a spell. Love how their hot dogs have a snap. The owner gave me a crispy taco to try and honestly that took me by surprise. It was a crunchy simple taco that hit the spot! Keep this hot dog stand alive everyone. It needs to stay here forever or least until I die. So 40 more years!
Saw a bunch of people at this hot dog stand and had to give it a try! This small stand offers outdoor seating and takeaway. The tables were clean and the inside stand looks tidy. The service is very friendly and done with a smile. The food came out quickly and hot! They have many fun combos so we tried three. The sauerkraut, the Chicago dog and the Tijuana dog. We also had chili cheese fries and bacon jalapeños as our sides and washed everything down with a Dr Pepper float and banana, chocolate shake. Everything was super tasty, especially the Tijuana dog. I see why it’s a fan favorite! I am seriously gonna dream about the soft buns for a while! All in all a great lunch spot and I’d come again!

IG/TT @waitfoodfirst Pch hot dogs in orange is the spot to go if you’re looking for a glizzy that’s simple, delicious, and affordable. My favorite is the Tijuana dog. It’s a bacon wrapped hot dog topped with grilled onions, jalepenos, fresh tomato and only costs $6.50. They’ve also got insane chili cheese fries. They’re thin cut, crispy, and perfect for $5.75.
The hot dogs with a snap are back. I've been coming here for years when I was living in Orange. I always come back here for a visit. My go to are the chili cheese fries and chili cheese dog. I saw some new items on the menu I definitely will try them next time. I recently visited and ordered the chili dog and the chili cheese fries. The chili dog was delicious! The hot dog had a nice snap and the chili was flavorful and tasted great with the mustard and onions. The chili cheese fries were also very good. The fries were crispy and the chili was gooey and delicious. I would definitely recommend Pacific Coast Hot Dogs to anyone looking for a great hot dog in Orange County. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. Here are some additional details about my experience: * The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. There is no indoor seating, but there is plenty of outdoor seating in a small, shaded patio. * The service was friendly and efficient. My order was ready in a few minutes. * The prices are very reasonable. My chili dog and chili cheese fries cost about $10 ish total. Overall, I had a great experience at Pacific Coast Hot Dogs. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great hot dog in Orange County. Here are some tips for your visit: * Try the chili dog! The Tijuana Dog had amazing flavors and was the winner today. The hot dog on the Tijuana Dog was cooked to the perfect amount of crispiness which is hard to find. The bacon, sauteed onions, and charred jalapenos created the perfect flavor combination. I'm looking forward to trying the Chicago Dog, which everyone ordered while I was dining in.
A hidden gem... Don't miss this amazing spot. Highly recommend the dogs. It was early Thursday morning I walked into the office like any other day. I didn't know what to expect for lunch but I knew I wanted something just right. A few friends recommended PCH Pacific coast hot dogs and I was immediately intrigued. Come to find out this place has a rich and vibrant history along with interesting cultural references over time. it's not much to look at but they make it more than make up for it with the quality of their food and the service they provide to their customers. The favorite menu items include the PCH chili dog the standard hot dog corn dog sauerkraut dog chili cheese dog fire dog Chicago dog New York dog Tijuana dog along with chili cheese fries cola soda and assorted soft serve ice cream treats. This menu does not change by and has remain largely the same for years and years. coworkers and I work about 10 minutes away and we gladly make the drive once or twice a month to come and enjoy some of the best hot dogs in Orange County. and you are looking for a special treat that won't break the bank and you like high-quality hot dogs with a variety of toppings come check out Pacific coast hot dogs.
I've been coming to PCH dog for over 10 years. This is my comfort zone, my happy place. They have always been consistently outstanding in their food. The staff is always so nice and very quick to get your order out. I've never been disappointed here. Definitely get the chili cheese fries!!
Yummy hotdogs. Fries were thin and crispy. My husband is picky when it comes to dogs and he loved them. I had the Tijuana dog wo jalapeños. Hubs had one with BBQ sauce.
The shake and fries were really good and the Chicago dog was solid as well. Fun little location.

Best 🌭 Hotdogs in Socal! Many varieties of quality & fresh ingredients. PCH is the Go2 Hotdog 🌭 joint! Customer Service is outstanding. Pricing is very appropriate & great value. Can't go any place else after PCH Gourmet Hotdogs...place is Stellar...enjoy the surf🏄♂️ board. Enjoy
An excellent little hot dog shop with a simple menu and great flavors. of Would recommend a classic Tijuana dog or their Chicago dog if you are into a lot of ingredients on your hot dogs. Prices per dog are $3-$4.50 depending on the complexity of the order. They also serve fries and shakes as well which are very tasty. Limited outdoor only seating and orders are made to order. Plenty of parking and doesn't tend to be very busy so most of the time you can just walk right up to the window. Wheelchair accessible, no public restrooms.
They brought back the ice cream. I like that! And, now they have tacos too. Just one kind. Ground beef. It was good. Fresh made to order French fries. Get chilie cheese on it! Its an outdoor hotdog stand on the street. with some limited shaded seating. Pretty Iconic, I guess.
The hot dogs are great but the fries are the best you can get anywhere.

U can never go wrong with a hotdog made just the way u like it. I had a Chicago dog, corn dog, and chili cheese fries. The Chicago dog was hot and fresh ingredients on top that matched perfectly 👌 the corn dog was cooked to perfection, not to crunchy and no soggy batter. The chili cheese fries came out hot which melted the mountain of cheese that hit the spot. I would come back here next time im in the area.
Great hot dog stand across from In n Out burger. What an amazing treat. I loved their Chicago Dog, with hot peppers, pickle slice, and tomato. French Fries were tasty and lightly salted. Thin fries, but a nice order size. I'll definitely go back and try the chili dog next
Hot dogs anyone?? Highlights of the menu: 1. Chicago dog 2. Chili cheese dog 3. New York dog 4. Oreo milkshake Nothing can beat a good hot dog after a long day at work. Just want to have a quick yet yummy dinner and this is the best choice for today. Their hot dogs are just out of the oven with some crunchy pickles (I don’t love all kinds of pickles but they have the type I like) and the sauces! So good!! Also, this is a small store with outdoor seatings. With the sun still up, I feel so fun to eat differently today.

There aren't many places in South OC or even SoCal where you can get a decent hot dog done right. They do it good. The dogs aren't huge, but sometimes simple is just perfect. Get the chili fries!!
Chili cheese fries with jalapenos and tomatos added was rad, tijuana dog was great as well, service quick, parking ample, been eating here across 20 years
Boyfriend has been trying to find the best hotdogs in OC, so he's been talking about going here ever since he found it. We were in the area for an event and on the way home, we stopped here for lunch. We ordered a few things: 2 BBQ Bacon, 1 Tijuana, 1 corn dog, 1 chili cheese fries and bottle of water. The corn dog was a last minute - I see it, I want it. Crispy batter, but nothing mind-blowing. It's just a taste of childhood for me. BF raved about the fries crispy level and how it complemented the generous portion of chili and cheese. They don't skimp! BBQ Bacon was our favorite. Topped with bacon, sautéed onions, fried jalapeños, barbecue sauce and a pickle spear, it was a nice balance of sweet, salty, smoky and spicy (the jalapeños packed heat!) The topping were overflowing and with each bite, you had to figure out how to keep yourself clean. The Tijuana was very similar with bacon, mustard, sautéed onions, chopped tomatoes and fried jalapeños. There was a lot more onions on this one. BF had this and said the mustard adds a nice dimension but he preferred the bbq bacon. Overall, food was quite good. It was a hot sunny day, so shaded seating is limited to about four tables and maybe 6-8 bar counter seating. If you need condiments like mustard or fries, you can ask for a squeeze bottle. The thing that left the biggest impression on me though was a very strong scent of cleaners. It was pleasant at first, but a light breeze would pass over me and along with that was a wave of nausea. It was so unpleasant I tried moving to a different table and I couldn't escape it. I ate quickly so that we could leave faster. If we come back, I think we would take it home or sit elsewhere.

First time at pacific coast hot dogs 🌭 and most likely my last. Ordered 2 chili cheese dogs and a chili cheese fries Waited about 10 minutes or so. Got my food and the chili was cold ( not cold but warm ) expected them to be hot, especially after I had to wait 10 minutes to get them anyway the chili was cold and not a good tasting chili ( kinda taste like a water down Hormel chili ) the hot dog also was not that good cheap quality and Tasted like they just boiled it in water. the chili fries same problem it had their chili on them. I did like that. The fries were skinny and they were hot because he did just make them. But the cheap chili and cheap cheese ruin the chili fries. I did like the outdoor seating area and the way the building looked. Just wish the food would’ve been better.
