Always delicious! Always worth a visit! A wonderful local staple. And, as someone who cares about the continuation of our planet, I very much appreciate that they use real dishes and silverware and even cloth napkins! Reducing waste makes a difference. And it's even better when done by a locally owned and operated delicious pizza place! Good burgers too! And adding a meatball as a side with pizza is very highly recommended =D

The boyfriend just brought back pizza from this place. It smelled yummy and tasted even yummier. I liked that it was juicy, but not greasy, and tasted super fresh. and it's right around the corner of our place. What a nice surprise! Will be back for more!

Spent the day at Tilden Park and found this gem. Gia was our server and she was a delight. My husband ordered the meatball sandwich and I had the mini pizza/salad. Food was delicious ❣️ Prices are reasonable and great service.

Village Pizza is the favourite pizza spot in our house. It's the overall quality that really makes the difference. No dripping grease, excess dough, chewy crust or bland ingredients. This place really takes pride in their pies and are always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the combo and the pesto chicken!

My family and I have gone here for years! Very homey and comforting. The owners are kind and always make a point to come by and say hello! We enjoy their cheeseburgers and Hawaiian pizza with thick crust.

Still kicking ass after all these years. Definitely one of the best pizzas around. Be warned, closing at 8:30 doesn't mean you can get food until 8:30, that's when they shut the door and go home. More like they want the last to-go order in by 8 and start shutting down the dining room at 7:30-7:45.

Located not far from the Orinda library, easy parking. As you enter, you are greeted by yummy smells that instantly reminds you of pizza and pasta. Friendly greeting. I loved the private booths and the dining area overlooks a trail with a woodsy window views. Lighting is friendly on the eyes. Our server was Sasha, who was friendly, warm, engaging, and competent. We order the soup of the day, a spinach salad to share, a large pizza , and ravioli. The sauces are all made in house. The pizza crust was super tasty with a good crumb and chew . Plenty of leftovers. We ended preventing with the Nutella cheesecake. There were families and locals. Good music. Recommend for a casual evening out or for take out. Got the impression this was family owned and they hire local students, so bring the support!

Ordered from lunch menu with 2 friends. Soups were tasty. The waitress brought the wrong spaghetti and it was flavorless. The other food were good. It's a nice restaurant in the neighborhood overall.

So the pizza is very good but the owner is incredibly unpleasant and also this ranch was 1.35 after spending 25 on a 14” pizza before a tip haha

Definitely not the best Italian I’ve ever had. The food was covered in grease, and the chicken parmasean is under the “pasta” section but doesn’t come with pasta, so why are they charging $18 for it? The biggest problem for me was definitely the grease, which seemed to cover every dish my family ordered, aside from the ravioli. My brother ordered a Caesar salad but was sent a lemon vinaigrette dressing. Definitely not a great experience for me.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I ordered the Italian Hot sandwich and paid $15 for something that was completely unacceptable in terms of quality. It barely had any meat or cheese — mostly bread and lettuce. For an Italian sandwich, I expect generous layers of meats and melted cheese, not a skimpy portion that feels like corners were cut. The bread was overly toasted and hard, and the whole thing looked sloppy and rushed. At that price point, there’s no excuse for such poor portioning and execution. Village Pizza needs to seriously improve their quality and value. Very disappointing experience — I won’t be returning unless major changes are made.

When the food didn’t show hours later at the scheduled delivery time I called and they said someone confirmed the order and did nothing with it. They never made the delivery. Buyer beware especially for meaningful events.

When the food didn’t show hours later at the scheduled delivery time I called and they said someone confirmed the order and did nothing with it. They never made the delivery.
