Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. Best fish tacos I’ve ever had! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
Reservation not needed but we made one since we had 35 people in our party. There were a few order issues which the staff was able to remedy quickly but is expected with a group this size. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Great service from the staff and the atmosphere has a cool vibe.
Great place you might miss with all the food options in the area but well worth the stop. I had their carnita tacos and esquites as an appetizer. Full of flavor all around! They have an extensive drink menu as well.
This was our first time trying Azteca, and everything was absolutely delicious — from the fresh chips and salsa to the margaritas and our main meals. Our server, Josue, was the cherry on top. Very welcoming, attentive, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
I highly recommend this restaurant for hosting group events and special occasions! I celebrated a birthday party with 60+ people and everyone's experience was outstanding! The service was consistently attentive and the food was amazing!. The manager (Saul) went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, he ensured that everything was perfect for our group. If you are looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, has a great atmosphere and delivers excellent hospitality and food, this is the spot to chose.
Want a great place to head to for happy hour margaritas— this is your stop! the house marg was excellent and the peach marg went great with the tortilla chip dip flight (the street corn dip was next level). Really busy for a week night, but service was still on point and the interior design was really bright, eclectic and fun. Lotsa locations, but I can only vouch for Orlando and Tampa.
The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Trees inside with carved hanging lanterns. The food was excellent. I had the chicken floutas. They were spacious good. My friend had the omelet. It was huge and really good. Another friend had the coconut shrimp and waffles. Drinks were really good. I loved the cucumber spritzer. Service was prompt and accurate. Prices were a bit high but the quality was worth it.
Pleasant find near our hotel. Fun atmosphere, friendly professional service, and delicious food! We accidentally hit the end of happy hour!
This Azteca's is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Orlando!!! The food is absolute fire!!🔥✨And the giant house margaritas are buy one get one free during happy hour. The service is top tier as well! William is absolutely stellar!!⭐️💫 If you from the Southwest and you need incredible Mexican food, check this place out!
Cozy and beautiful atmosphere, the food was too good. The quantity is according to the price and worth it. The service was fast and the workers were very professional and friendly. A must stop for amazing Mexican cuisine.
This is our third Azteka that we visit in Orlando. Honestly, Colonial and OBT have better service. The server here today was not attentive (Josue) and sending someone else every time we asked for salsa or something else, my husband had to go to the bar at one point to ask for something we needed because the person helping took too long. Didn’t even offer if we wanted water. We had to ask for plates for the appetizers. The drink was too strong for my liking had to send it back for more agave because it was pure alcohol and ice. The food as usual was amazing. The gringos tacos was my first time trying them and they were extremely perfect! The guac, always on point! Best guac in town. Although Josue’s attitude rubbed off a little wrong, still giving 5 stars. I love your food and the consistency with the quality and flavors.
🌮 Food: 8/10 🍽️ Portions: 8/10 ✅Quality: 8/10 👩🏻💼 Service: 7/10 🧼Hygiene: 7/10 🍃Ambiance: 9/10 As soon as I walked in I was dazzled with the decoration I felt like a Disney princess🤭 the place is very magical! We had to wait 15 minutes to get a table since it was very crowded but we went on a Saturday maybe that’s why. It was worth the wait the food was very delicious and we enjoyed it so much. I would definitely visit again!
It's been about four years since we've been here. I don't know why we waited so long. I remember great food and service here before and now I'm pleasantly surprised with the new decor. Food and service is still great. We had Tacos de Birria, the Mocajete, and chicken fajitas and all was delicious. We constantly had our water glasses refilled without us asking. It was a pretty busy night, yet our server was very attentive. Definitely coming back to enjoy more food and atmosphere.
Very clean and eye catching decor. The art was amazing. Table service was pretty fast the the chips and dip. We shared the drink flight and they were good. Food came out very fast. It was amazing. The portions were hugh. This place is pricey. $150 for 4 adults without tip.
Josue has been an awesome server. He answered our questions, brought our food and drinks on a timely manner and brought a smile to the table constantly. We will be back and we will ask to be seated with Josue again.
Great restaurant with amazing grill Smokey flavors. Elegant and impressive decor with soft lighting in the interior. Good service but not as elegant as the place itself, we appreciated the fact that they served us even that we came in almost at closing time and the crew was tired and looked disappointed. Sorry guys it was UCF Graduates 2024 night.
Not only is Azteca D’Oro the best places for Mexican food in the UCF area, it’s one of the best in restaurants in Orlando. Between the fresh guacamole custom made right at the table and the exceptional margaritas, Azteca D’Oro is the perfect spot for anything from a family dinner to a Girls’ Night Out. The staff and service is impeccable as well. Josue especially was a wonderful server and took impeccable care of the whole table the entire time we were there. I highly recommend Azteca D’Oro to anybody visiting this area of Orlando!
Azteca D’ Oro is a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds! The beautifully decorated interior, with its stunning lighting fixtures, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Mexican food is absolutely to die for—authentic, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A must-visit for great food and ambiance!

Our server Josue was so attentive and didn’t need to ask for anything and when we did it was delivered promptly and with a smile. 10 out of 10 recommend! Will be back and will request him specifically

Beautiful spot, great atmosphere, we thought because the parillada was almost $40 that we could split it. Definitely not the case. Just some advice if you wanted to fill up, definitely feeds one
Josue was nothing short of phenomenal during our birthday celebration. With over 50 guests in attendance, he handled the event with grace, speed, and a smile that never faded. Not once did he make a mistake, every order was perfect, every guest felt seen, and the entire evening ran smoothly thanks to his incredible attention to detail. He was fast, friendly, and completely in control, even with the chaos of a large party. Josue didn’t just serve, he elevated the experience. His energy was contagious, his professionalism was unmatched, and his ability to keep everything flowing effortlessly made him the unsung hero of the night. Josue, you were the bomb. Thank you for making our celebration unforgettable. You’re a true star, and we’re beyond grateful for your amazing service!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Azteca de Oro Mexican Restaurant on University in Orlando, and we owe so much of that to Isabelle! Isabelle was beyond incredible—friendly, attentive, and truly knowledgeable about every dish. She made our dining experience feel unique, ensuring everything was on time and flawless. She accommodated us in every way possible—never once saying “no.” She was always cheerful and made us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor were just icing on the cake. If you visit, ask for Isabelle—she’s the best!

Nice atmosphere and complementary chips and salsa were very good. Queso dip was very good too. Large portions throughout the table and everyone seemed happy with their meal. The whole beans were more liquid than beans, but tasty. The server was a little snippy. When she put my meal down I didn't see the sour cream I ordered and 'usually' that's an indicator they forgot, so I said, "Oh and the sour cream." She quickly shot back with, "well I can't bring everything out at once". Not a big deal, but sadly that's the kind of attitude we get now from the younger generation. Argumentative...
The place overall is really nice, they have a good lunch special at a great price. The flavor is good, it doesn't feel completely authentic Mexican, but for the value of the lunch it's fine.

I haven't eaten at Taco Bell in 6 years, might have to start after eating at Azteca, at least Taco Bell seasons their food. Salsa and chips, salsa had no flavor at all. Al pastor, flavorless and bland, wasnt really Al pastor in my book. Rice was decent and the beans were meh. The plate was hot and the limes were fresh, this was the highlight of the meal. Save your money, got get tacos from pretty much anywhere else. Service was nothing special.
