Green Eggs and Ham Cafe is a popular spot in Universal Studios Orlando, known for its loaded tater tots. Many reviewers specifically praise the buffalo chicken and pizza tots. The Who Hash is also popular, and comes in a souvenir can. Some found the wait times long.
Tip: The tots are filling and can be a quick meal. There are lots of seating options nearby.
I stopped by the Green Eggs and Ham Cafe, and I loved it! I ordered The Who Hash. It was flavorful, and I loved that it is served in a Who Hash aluminum can. Such a fun menu item! It was great quality and a great price. The window service was quick and efficient. The staff members were friendly and welcoming. Unlike other dining options through the park, lots of seating options were available near the cafe to sit at while eating which I appreciated. I highly recommend the Green Eggs and Ham Cafe!
My son wanted to try green eggs and ham so we got the pizza and green eggs and ham tots. Since everyone was grossed out by the green eggs, I tried a bite and it was delicious! We go here quite a bit and this is now my favorite fast breakfast / lunch. If you can get over the green eggs (likely spinach added in?) then you will have a delicious, unique new food with a nice quiet place to sit in the shade.
March 2024 update- tonight had tots with the white cheese sauce. So good. I love that this place is dedicated to all things tator tots. Such an underappreciated food in the fast food realm!! So glad we decided to eat here!! 😋 I love tator tots anyway, so I had the pizza tots. Despite all the food I had while at Universal, I was still thinking about these tots 3 days later they were so good!!! My son had the green eggs and ham tots, hubby had carnitas tots and daughter went with plain ones.
So good! Wish we could've just gotten the souvenir container, I didn't want the hash. Pizza and buff dip was good!!!
Green Eggs and Ham Cafe is my favorite snack spot in all of Universal Studios Orlando. The tots are delicious, filling and can even be a quick meal. I had the Who Hash which was fantastic and you get a cute souvenir can. Service is pretty quick and there are lots of seating options nearby.
I saw a recommendation for this place on the Pugh Two's channel and kept it in mind while I was in the parks. This was a great place to get a snack and sit down after a whole day of rides. We tried the buffalo chicken and pizza tots. I think they do make these beforehand so that people don't have to wait too long for their food. If you manage to get a warm/hot version of the tots, then consider yourself lucky. It was a tasty and filling snack that can be shared. My favorite was the buffalo chicken. One note is that it does seem to close about an 30-1 hour before the park closes.
My favourite place for a quick bite in the park! Quick service, good tasty servings, and a great location. You can sit by the water with a good view of the coasters. I've tried green eggs and ham toppings, pizza topping, and buffalo. I think you should try the classic green eggs and ham - it's so cheesy! But my personal favourite has to be the buffalo chicken. I think this would be a great spot to bring kids due to the cute theming and easy food.
Why are these tots so good?! 😭😭 The buffalo chicken tots were FRESH and HOT. A great park lunch. Husband had the Who Hash which is also quite tasty - and you can even keep the can!
We had 0 expectations coming to this takeout eatery. Lo and behold, this was very tasty and served relatively fast by Theme park standards. Taste: In the namesake Green Eggs and Ham plate, the flavours are really enjoyable if you’re like me and don’t mind a little eggs with green stuff (broccoli?), cheese sauce (!), and finely diced pieces of ham. The two of us finished our plate without any problem before heading to the nearby Seuss rides. ;-). This dish did feel like a breakfast poutine in many ways, the way the flavours came together.

My wife wanted to visit here after seeing it documented on YouTube. I don’t get the hype … I now get it! We visited 2/3 times during our stay and the loaded tots were sooo good! Definitely enough to share, good for a quick snack!
Surprisingly good tater tots, scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese sauce. One of the least crowded food choices. Decent amount of tables all with umbrellas.
Went here with kids under 5. They had a blast, I enjoyed atmosphere too. They loved the Dr. Seuss land so this was a great food option.
Good service ,good food. Reasonable waiting time, the food was prepared at the moment and everything was fresh and delicious. I ate the carnitas (love it) and the pizza tots.
I’m glad I decided to give this place a try! I’m usually not in this area, but when I heard a place had multiple different loaded tater tots I got excited! The carnitas tots were delicious and they gave you a hefty amount. Would definitely get again
Nice place to sit (outside only by the water) to share a bowl of potato tots - we shared the buffalo chicken ones they were nice and great for a mid morning snack to keep you going if you skipped breakfast to get on Hagrid's !
Only place in the parks that does loaded potato tots. We got the Green Eggs & Ham tots and the Pizza Tots on our first day and we came back and got the Buffalo Chicken Tots. Loved the food and the seating area is nice you can get an outdoor booth overlooking the lake.
I love it. My favorite place to eat at Islands of Adventure. The pizza tots are my favorite. They are filling and delicious for theme park fast food. The wait is usually fast unless it’s peak hours in the park.
Today Universal card system went down, requiring employees to hand write every transaction and only take cash. The line was super long. Nikia an employee at the green eggs and ham restaurant seen the long lines and jumped into action. She helped ensure everyone got their food quickly and with a smile. The food was amazing!
First of all THANK YOU Universal for opening Green Eggs and Ham. Haven't seen this place open in such a long time. We visited during Christmas and New years and was so happy to see it open. We had the Who Hash and loved it. What is also nice is that it was layered inside the can instead of it all poured on top so you get cheese, hash and tots with every bite. Rumor has it, that because of good response by the patron's, that it will be open all year long. As an annual pass holder this will be one of our must dos on all of our visits.
If in Islands, this is a must stop. I'd even rate it higher than getting a Butter beer in the Wizarding World. Best tater tots I've ever had, even without toppings. Crisp outside and cooked through on the inside. Had both the pizza and carnitas versions, and reasonably priced considering the location.Only minor issue is,since it's a walk up cafe, there may be an issue finding an open outdoor table at times. But it's worth standing and eating if nesissary!
Me and my mom got the Buffalo Tater tots, we loved it. Considered by the Pugh 2 youtube channel. The tots were amazing
Actually, it was one of the best meals we had at Universal. The tots were perfect, and the toppings were very tasty! They forgot one meal, so we had a little discombobulation with coordinated eating, but that happens sometimes!
I grabbed a quick bite here using my Dining Plan pass for the Orlando Informer Meetup. I had been wanting to try the Who Hash for the longest time and it was worth the wait. The tots were crispy, the cheese was tasty, the corned beef chunks were flavorful and cooked beautifully and the scallions added just the right extra flair to the dish! I'd reccomend for anyone!
Honestly compared to a lot of food at Disney, the buffalo chicken tots no bad. Everything was fresh n hot. For a quick bite, it works! Tots were good!
Excellent service here. The chef came out for gluten allergy. The cashier Justin was super friendly. I recommend the Tots Carnitas for a quick lunch.
Very filling and flavorful for the price. They give a generous serving, and its warmth is refreshing if you're here on a cold day. A great mix of starch, cheese, and meat.
Love the tots! Wish they had more vegetarian options.
This was our favorite place to eat while visiting Orlando Studios/Islands of Adventure. The Green Eggs and Ham tots were delicious! We can't wait to come back on our next family trip to FL.
WARNING! This both is deliciously dangerous. You are encouraged to be opposite of the man in the book and dive form first into the green eggs and ham from the beginning. All iterations here ate good. You will be tempted to buy multiple versions and you should! This might be a hidden gem snack. Seek it out and thank me later.
You have to go for the Moose Juice or Goose Juice, although this is not the main location which carries it. It's nostalgic to actually see and taste what Green Eggs & Ham actually taste like and guess what it is just like rich unfertilized eggs and you guessed it ham. The titular dish is great to share with everyone as a experience snack nothing more, but still fun. #drseuss #greeneggsandham
Amazing tots! We hit the parks early and barely ate breakfast, so we stopped here in between rides. I'll admit it took a little longer than expected to get our food (maybe 15 minutes) but it was hot and delicious!!! We ordered the green eggs & ham, the steak one, and the pizza one. We ate there twice because it was so good!
Service was great, the location is fun but there isn’t much seating. We went during off eating times so it wasn’t busy. The carnitas tots were really good and enough to split as a holdover snack for two. Would recommend!
Flavorful 👍🏽 affordable 👍🏽 and great value 👍🏽. $10-$15 for a quick bite that is enough to fill you up and not make you feel so stuffed you’ll throw it up on any of the thrill rides. Carnitas tots: carnitas, pico de gallo, white cheese sauce on tots Corn beef hash: corn beef, white cheese sauce, green onions. Prolly my favorite out of the two and has a souvenir ish can that comes with.
Such an underrated spot! Highly recommend this delicious and huge sized portions of tater tots. I tried the Buffalo chicken tots. They were extremely flavourful, tots were cooked to perfection, and the chicken was great! Pretty average priced however, its more than enough to split between two people!
Would eat at this restaurant again! My plate was clean it was so good. My friend I went with had a request of no cheese and they were able to accommodate that request. Would recommend the buffalo chicken tater lots. Did take little while to get our food but was very warm and fresh so it was worth it!
“Say! I like green eggs and ham! I do! I like them, Sam-I-am!” 💚🤣 As a part of our Grinchmas visit, we had to try Seuss Landing's most famous dish: Green Eggs & Ham Tots (green eggs, diced ham, and white cheese sauce over tater tots). The Green Eggs and Ham Cafe is literally giant green eggs and green ham, very whimsical. The dish was actually really good, and despite not usually liking ham, I would order it again.
We stopped by here because the place around the corner ran out of croissants...and I'm glad they did. We knew that this place had good reviews and luckily we had the chance to try out the food. We ordered the buffalo chicken and also the green eggs and ham. They were both very tasty. The wait was not terrible but you do have to wait around in the sun until your name is called but the rest of your crew can go wait in one of the shaded tables. Overall, I would recommend this place for breakfast or a snack if you are in the area, the servings were generous. Enjoy y'all!
Green Eggs and Ham Cafe at Islands of Adventure is one of our go-to quick service spots, and we eat here almost every time we visit. It’s a simple menu, but it’s done really well. They usually offer loaded tots along with a few dessert options, and everything we’ve tried has been great. Our absolute favorite is the buffalo chicken tots—they’re consistently delicious and a must-have for us. For quick service food that’s filling, flavorful, and easy to grab while in the park, this place never disappoints. We’ll definitely keep coming back.
Its great. The tots are crunchy and the buffalo isn't too much. However, their hours are incorrect. They arent open until 8

Food in a theme park is a hit or miss . Had to try the green eggs and ham , thanks to my brother who recommended it. It’s good I recommend it as well and the green eggs is made with basil and spinach not food coloring (That’s a plus for me 😆) 😋 but my favorite was the carnitas tots , delicious with salsa, jalapeños and cheese on top 😋 I I will get it again !
We tried the Carnitas, Buffalo Chicken, and Pizza tots. The Carnitas was the best of the three, with the pizza tots coming in second. The food was hot when we got it, which isn't often the case. The gentleman (his nametag said 'Q') who was running the order and pick up window did a phenomenal job. He was friendly, patient, and kind. He took orders and called the names at the pick-up window, all while keeping a smile on his face. Just an add-in for Universal-almost, if not all restaurants in Universal offer free water. The coke fill-up stations throughout the park all have a free water option.
This place doesn’t seem hopeful, however, the loaded tater tots were flavourful and filling. The service was very slow as only one kitchen member was working at the time and they were taking more orders than they could handle. The food was still really tasty and worth the price. I would recommend going out of lunch hours to avoid queues. There’s also no indoor seating
Who-hash was very good, very hot (including the can which we were warned about), but it is very pricy for what it is. We wished there was a way we could save the can, especially for the price to keep as a memento, but it was unfortunately way too gooey to save and haul around. The girl working there was very friendly, however.

Great theming. Good choice for The Cat in the Hat fans. Easy access if you are just entering the park.
This stand has many different and unique options with tater tots. We got the carne asada tots, 2 pizza tots, the buffalo chicken tots, and the green eggs and ham tots. So we had an order with 5 items in it. We waited and watched as person after person who came after us got their order. These people had orders of one or 2 tots. So every time a tots would show up in the expo window, they would take it and use it to fill another order to get people moved and get more orders fulfilled, instead of using it for our ticket which was the next ticket in line for about 20 minutes. We waited about 30 minutes, while we watched people with one tots order and wait less than 5 minutes to get theirs. It was extremely frustrating. We thought to ourselves that we shouldn’t have ordered all 5 items at once, and that maybe we would have gotten our food quicker if we ordered 5 separate orders of 1 tots each. Finally one of the workers acknowledged that we had been waiting a while so she gave is 4 out of the five tots and said the last one was coming soon. It took about another 10 minutes to get the last one. So we were all eating for 10 minutes while our one family member was standing waiting for the food at the counter and not eating. It was sad. The portion for the price you pay is a really decent balance, and we all really enjoyed our tot meals as they tasted great! They just need to figure out the organization of taking orders, making orders, and calling out orders better. Overall I would recommend this as it is a unique and different option that is a departure from typical theme park food. Maybe try to go on off peak lunch times so it isn’t as chaotic when you order.
Would totally order green eggs and ham here again. This was very delicious. The tater tots were nice and crispy, then covered with eggs (colored with chives) and them topped with ham and cheese sauce. My only gripe was the timing and service. The line was very short, but I waited forever it seemed for my food. Also, note that The Who-hash states that you get a souvenir can, but I’m not sure how you could keep this? It is a can, with a sticker (so not washable).
We eat here every time we want a snack at the parks. It is a bit slower than most places Cause they usually only have one person cooking and it gets packed, but it's worth it. It's a decent price and the tots are always super crispy and hot.
Needs to be a horror movie Green eggs and Ham horror movie why is nobody reacting to my reviews the reviews on my reviews
Incredibly satisfying breakfast options, everything you'd want to sustain a long day at the park. I will say the corned beef hash was a bit salty, but the nostalgia made it enjoyable!
I do like green eggs and ham, Sam I am! When creating a Dr. Seuss themed section of a theme park, one of the bottom lines is that there has to be a restaurant serving GREEN EGGS AND HAM. Come on, it’s iconic! So thank goodness for this lil cafe. First of all, the building itself is literally a giant green ham! Hysterical, really. They serve a few different version of hashbrown hot dish essentially, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoy them. Especially the buffalo hash, the tater tots mixed with chicken, cheese and buffalo sauce is scrumptious. This is also a rather uncommon type of food for a theme park, which only makes it even more fun. I’d actually recommend giving them a try, so you can like green eggs too!
Green Eggs and Ham Cafe is a whimsical spot in Universal's Islands of Adventure. This is a counter-service restaurant with affordable options that give a break from the standard theme park fare. The menu is made up of tater tots, but spunky versions. Our family's favorites are the pizza tots, buffalo chicken tots and the Who Hash!
This may be a controversial opinion, but I think this is the best dining spot at Universal Islands of Adventure. I tried several restaurants and stalls at both Universal parks, and this place had the only food I'd order at a non-theme park dining establishment. We got the carnitas dish and it was super tasty; the richness of the cheesy tots and meat was perfectly tempered by the salsa, sour cream, and green onions. It was filling enough that I split it with another person in my party. And at $12-ish, it was very cost effective compared to some of our other stops. All in all, this place is worth a stop. After playing the field on this park visit, next time, I'll save my money and appetite for this stall and skip the rest.
Great place to snack at the park. The green eggs and ham is eggs mixed with pesto, tots, white cheese sauce and small cubes of ham. I like it and so does my young child. The who hash is really cute and served in a can. I couldn't finish it all but it is good. Problem here is that it is very hit or miss if it is open or not.
Long wait but good food! It was a really hot day when I stopped in and I felt for the team members in the back, but it took about 21 minutes for my Buffalo chicken tots. They were delicious, but it’s a tough wait for food that’s less than $13 in direct sunlight. The tater tots were crispy and the food was well-seasoned all around.
Arguably the best food in the park for the price & taste. We ate here 3 times in the 6 days we spent at Universal Studios and it was the only food stand we visited more than once. The tots are tasty and a decent portion. Our whole family loved the buffalo chicken - it managed to have the buffalo flavor without being overly spicy. I really enjoyed the carnitas tots as well - the pork was juicy and the cheese sauce was tasty. Aside from the food the service is slow and it seems like there is no rhyme or reason as to when orders come out. Also if you or someone else in line orders 3 or more items be prepared to wait and have people who ordered after you get their food first. There is plenty of outdoor seating but depending on the time of day not much shade from the FL sun. Overall this is a decent pick for lunch or a snack in a park with underwhelming food options.
The tots were cooked well. They gave you a decent amount of cheese and sausage. While the food isn’t anything to rave about, it’s probably a better deal in the theme park
Basically some sort of tater tots with something on them. Buffalo chicken, pizza, and.... one other, don't remember. They were like 12 or 13 each. Honestly, not bad for a quick sharable snack for a lighter hunger. The buffalo chicken actually had a decent enough chicken and had a good flavor. Kind of a neat location in Dr. Suess land.

We tried the green eggs and ham tater tots and we thought it was good but there weren't many egg pieces in there and with the cookie dough meal we spent about $16 which is actually outrageous for the quantity we received and the one scoop of cookie dough and what kind of combo meal does not include a drink?! Was it worth the hype? Eeh we thought it was alright but we would still recommend people to try some.

Tater tots weren’t fresh when ordering the Who Hash
The food here was delicious! We got the buffalo chicken tots and pizza tots. Very big portions and great flavor! However only 2 people working on this busy location. One at the window and one filling orders. You could tell the cast members were not happy and didn't have great attitudes. We waited almost 40 mins for 2 dishes and there was a huge line behind us. It was hard to social distance here as well.
We tried the Who Hash and pizza tots. Decidedly average--nothing special about the tater tots or the other ingredients. Maybe we tried the wrong menu items, but we saw the Who Hash recommended in some YouTube videos--did not live up to the hype.
I've been wanting to try the hash browns, got the carnitas and the who hash, both were delicious, my lower score if for the customer service, the lady who helped me named Mo had an attitude, yelling at another coworker to call louder for a customers order while I'm there just standing waiting to pay, when I said nothing was on the screen she seemed annoyed. Food great but customer service not so great.
Veg pizza tots were just ok, a little burnt / dry and needed more sauce
Great stop for a quick snack. Reasonably priced and food was good. We came here and each tried a different tot dish but noticed that there wasn’t much toppings on the tots. Half the plate of tots were just plain tots with no toppings on it. The outdoor area also only had certain spots with shade which meant you may have to eat a hot plate of tots in the burning heat with no shade as well.
Oh how I wish I could say that I love the Green Eggs and Ham tots... but alas, no. The price was good for the tots, but the eggs were very weird and scrambled, and the flavors really didn't go well together. Even my partner who loves all food didn't enjoy them. The cheese sauce was on point though. I was also amazed by how expensive the Who Hash was for a little tiny can of food. The staff were super friendly though, and we appreciated them.
Insanely long wait time - 30 mins for a fried dish is unprecedented! The vegan tots though were quite flavorful and pretty good for theme park food.

Got the Buffalo chicken tots - Wait time was good but the portion has changed significantly and not in a good way… all tots and literally 2 pieces of actual chicken. Not worth what we paid
Food decent but 45 minute wait for a single item. Only one person working the register and pick up window. Universal is cutting too much to save money and ruining customer experiences. Also, park is definitely over limited capacity today as rides are all over 45 minutes, some over two hours, and no sign of cutting off attendance at the gate.
I ordered Who Hash and it took over 20 minutes to get my food, while several people who ordered after me got their food first. The three employees were also standing in the back not doing anything and eating their own food. The lines were unorganized and no one knew where to go. The food was hot and fresh when it finally came out but not worth waiting 20 minutes for.
Not only did I wait 25 minutes the food was not hot!!! I had the who hash and green eggs with tots. Who hash was dry with only 4 pieces of so called hash. The green eggs was 1 scrambled egg with pesto. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I think tbe gentleman Q was running the show he was very pleasant but continually repeating himself on what was needed. PS they close at 6pm and it's not posted.

Cute place with actual green eggs and ham. Unfortunately I got very sick after eating here which is a first as a pass holder for universal. Beware the Who Hash!!!
We waited in line for this restaurant at Universal Studios. My daughter was extremely excited for the food. At 6 pm promptly, the lady at the windows closed her window right in front of us and stated, "Sorry, we are closed". We had been in line for 15 minutes and there was no one waiting in line behind us. It was extremely disappointing and ruined the last hour at the park for us. I have never seen such terrible service in my life. I would not go back.
Didn't have the 2 items we wanted and one of the entrees we did end up ordering didn't have half of the toppings it was supposed to and the cheese was burnt to the bottom. With the prices we paid I expected better. Wasted vacation money.
It’s never open. They literally hold guests waiting to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter right next to it (you have to go through Seuss Lansing to get to Potter) in the morning but it’s not open and serving the breakfast food it is named after. It’s silly and stupid lost opportunity. I understand why it closed when the park first opened and it struggled to attract guests. Now the park has more than double the guests and no where to eat breakfast aside from Starbucks. Well done whimsical Seuss food would do well. Instead on the rare capacity day when they open it they serve hamburgers and fries for lunch.
It's take too long, expensive and average food with extravagant price. What else can I say. It's a toots that's it however it took them over 30 minutes to serve precooked tots. The green eggs is spinach or food coloring. The taste is average.its universal they nickel dime you for average foods.
