Indian Hut receives mixed reviews. Many customers praise the biryani, chicken 65, and quick service, with some specifically recommending the Chhola Bhatura. However, some report inconsistent food quality, unclean restrooms, and issues with spice levels and freshness.
Tip: Consider ordering the biryani or chicken 65, but be aware that spice levels can be inconsistent. Some reviewers suggest sticking to the egg fried rice.
I ordered from Indian Hut for the first time, Masala Dosa is best crispy and Sambar was very good and Mango Lassi is the best Mango Lassi in the town I definitely order again 👏.
Cashier was nice and helpful with giving recommendations. It was empty so I didn’t have a wait. Everything is made to order so it was hot and fresh. The food is so good! Seasoned and cooked well!
Food was good. Chhola bhatura is a must try. Dosa was not that good. Service was quick. Prices are reasonable. Taste better than tabla & aashirvaad. Washrooms were not that clean.
We had come here from Canada to visit,so my son felt like eating biryani,so I ordered biryani.chicken biryani for takeout.after going to the hotel,we are biryani and my wife liked the biryani very much,so I went to order again, but the store was close.we have a flight in the morning,so we will meet next year.taste amazing guys 👍

While we were visiting in Orlando area, we ordered carry out from Indian Hut few times. All of our orders were exceptional. Few times we ordered 'vada pav' and 'dabeli' while going to nearby attractions. Our kids loved the vada pav. Dabeli were spicy and refreshing. We ordered biryani from there as well. My wife mentioned that it was authentic and tasted like back home. While at the restaurant, I ordered a piece of chocolate moose cake. It was eggless and tasted amazing. The person at front desk had great customer service.
Doesn't look like much from the outside. But the food is amazing. Spice levels are accurate and the desserts SLAP. Good portions for the price if eating in. Over all im hooked
I recently visited India Hut Restaurant and absolutely loved the food! We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65, and Garlic Naan — everything was delicious and full of authentic flavor. The biryani was aromatic with tender chicken, the Chicken 65 was perfectly spiced and crispy, and the Garlic Naan was soft, buttery, and fresh. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall dining experience was excellent. I’d definitely recommend India Hut to anyone looking for tasty and authentic Indian cuisine.
Amazing authentic Indian food. Our family thoroughly enjoyed chicken 65, goat biryani, egg fried rice, lollipop and pastries. Do visit if you are in Orlando !!
Absolutely loved the food at India Hut in Orlando! The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced — you can really taste the freshness in every dish. The Chana Masala,Malia Kofta, Paneer Tikka Masala was creamy and delicious, the Dum Egg biryani was aromatic, and the Butter Tandoori Roti came out hot and soft. Best Malia Kofta I had in whole East Coast. This is coming from a person who is been in New Jersey past 30 years. Service was friendly and attentive. Monu and Kingsley made great recommendations. Portions were generous and prices very reasonable for the quality. If you’re craving real Indian food in Orlando, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Highly recommended! We always get doordash from this restaurant and it is great tasting with large portions. They included a foil of fresh cut onions, limes, and jalapeños today and we really appreciated that little extra step they took. We also got our Biryani BOGO! :) Thanks Indian Hut for always delivering a great dinner experience!
We did an uber order late night. We ordered N3 chicken biryani and egg fried rice. If not for amazing egg fried rice, they would have got 2 stars. Egg fried rice is definitely better of the two. If I end up to ordering here again. I will just stick to egg fried rice.
It’s an ok Indian place. Completely empty!! Bhatura - 14$ - okish Samosa 3.50$ for 2 - felt like microwaved Chai was disappointing 3$

I’ve been to this Indian Hut location a couple of times over the years. They do remain consistent and from what I see, staff turnover isn’t traditionally high. The food is ok. I’ve ordered hot and medium spiced dishes and there wasn’t much of a difference between the level of spices. I’ve yet to experience anything truly sensational at Indian Hut but if you are to order something, I do recommend the Samosas and the Chana Masala. The vegetarian dishes have always been better than the meat dishes. The food is prepared within a reasonable time as well. The only thing I’d recommend is if the restaurant could maintain it’s overall cleanliness and appearance. I’m sure I’ll be back sometime in the future. 👍🏾
Food was great and self service, I have been here after 5 years and the ambience has not changed even a bit. Restroom was terrible and flush won’t work. Who doesn’t grow in 5 years, really needed some renovation for sure at least for restrooms during this time where the world is suffering from COVID.
Alert!!! After a fun filled day at disney.. came back to hotel ordered some soy chaap which was good, gobi Manchurian was also good, salted lassi was refreshing and here comes the twist Egg biryani... The chef is Soo talented that an egg biryani can be made just by adding boiling egg to veg pulao/biryani... What a joke!! Either the owner should know what their menu item even tastes like... Look at the photo attached.. such a funny joke!! Anyways if ever wanted to order then just go for veg biryani and order an egg.. let's save some Chef's energy!!
Veg puff is very oily, Black Forest cake is too much frozen and not good, mango lassi is okie, tea is very average. Atmosphere is too smelly and look old. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to try here. They should improve everything.
August 2025 Tried this place through delivery after reading a glowing review saying their Soya Chaap is just like Delhi street food. Naturally, as a true foodie, I got excited and ordered both Malai Soya Chaap and Tandoori Soya Chaap. Now before I dive into the review, a humble request to that reviewer: Either change your Delhi soya chap restaurant location or stop reviewing food while sleepwalking. 😅 Both chaaps were nowhere close to the real deal. Felt like readymade frozen chaap that was boiled, dipped in cream, and then attacked with red food color like it owed someone money. Tandoori? More like “Tan-don’t-even-try-again.” I’m not trying to be mean, but just saving a few fellow chaap lovers from heartbreak (and stomachache). We all work hard for our money—if a dish isn’t your kitchen’s strength, maybe just… politely retire it from the menu? This looks like an old restaurant, so I’m sure they do some things well. But one thing’s clear: Chaap is not their chaampion. 🙃

Ordering from here is a gamble, you never know when the food is going to taste good or when it will be horrible! I always give this place another chance but today was my last straw. I called to put in an order and I told them to make sure to not put extra water and to not make it watery, they proceeded in adding a lot of tomato sauce so instead of eating butter chicken im eating tomato soup chicken! They also forgot my rice which i paid for and even tipped. I will never go back to this place again!
The chicken biryani came without chicken and they no longer put an egg or more chicken but charge the same price. I asked for kid friendly and this is the second time in a row it came really spicy. My guess is they changed the chefs or they no longer care how to serve food. The chicken 65 is great.

I recently visited the India Hut and ordered the Manchurian with gravy, specifically asking for it to be spicy. Unfortunately, the chef simply added extra red chillies, which lacked flavor. This has happened to me on five separate occasions, and each time I've had to deal with employees who seemed to think they were doing me a favor, rather than providing good service. However, my latest visit was a slight exception - the employee who took my order was friendly and respectful. Despite this positive interaction, I was still left with some concerns about the quality of the food and service. The water we were served had an unusual black sediment, which was unsettling. Unfortunately, when I brought this to the attention of the staff, they didn't seem to take any action to address the issue. In light of these experiences, I would strongly advise against visiting India Hut. It appears that they are overcharging customers and not providing adequate service or food quality. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. It's also essential that the food inspectors pay another visit to this establishment and take necessary action to shut it down if necessary. Never Going again

The food did not seem fresh. I ordered an aloo panini and a veg puff. The veg puff, in particular, had a very strange smell, and it was unclear how old it was, should definitely look for a different indian place then this since this might upset ur tastebuds
