This place has been around forever. It use to be a Cumberland Farms before it was a Sunoco, and the two establishments were separated by a wall. I grew up in this neighborhood. When I was 12 back in 1989, I took an adventure on my bike one day, to Giovanni's, and ordered a sub with the money I had earned cutting grass that day. The original owners were there, and they treated me like an adult. I ordered the Italian, and when I bit into that sub, purchased with my hard earned money. It came to me, on a tray, toasted to perfects. It was the best I had ever had. I still remember exactly how it tasted to this day. This restaurant still has the same name, but it is owned by new people. Let me tell you though, the flavor that oven puts into these sandwiches still remain today. I just visited recently, and had my childhood brought back on the first bite. Thanks for keeping this establishment open. If it wasn't so far away, I'd visit regularly.

The food was absolutely amazing. Ordered the steak with onions (bistec encebollado) along with white rice and red beans. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted very delicious. Even the Yucca with red onions was great! The icing on the cake was the awesome customer service. Will definitely be back to try the Mangu with tres golpes.

I ordered a pizza 50 mins ahead. Got there was not ready yet. The pizza was really good though. Very fair price. I definitely recommend the place.

Little pizza joint next to a Sunoco. I hade the two slices and a drink for $4 really good pizza a little greasy but it's to be expected. I would recommend.

Good service but pizza was definitly disappointing. The sause was gloopy and the pizza was unflavorful and not worth it. Staff was very nice though.

Called to place an order to pick up, could barely understand what she said when she answered, gave a perturbed sigh when I said I’d like to place an order for pick up please, I have my order, 2 items, she said do you know where you are calling, I said Giovannis on Goldenrod, she said yea well we are really busy, it will be about 25 minutes, I said ok no problem. She said fine see you in 25 mins or more. The whole time acting like I was bothering her by calling there. Rudest person ever, must be family, no way any body would keep her on staff for any other reason. Far better pizza in the same area with less attitude, actually with GOOD customer service. Call Proccolino’s instead.

Fiance came back with a pizza for our lunch. Toppings are on the wrong side, dry crust, course barely enough cheese and sauce is watery. Barely is considered a pizza. Will not go there again.

I would never go to a place that someone leaves a menu on my car it rained then backed on the sun all day and dried to my windshield. I get that your trying to promote your business but who said you can touch my car?!?
