RESTAURANT The restaurant has a slightly dated look with an '80s-inspired atmosphere, but don't be fooled; just try one dish and you'll forget all about it. The dishes are all excellent, prepared with care and quality (local ingredients and even some original pairings). The wine list is interesting, and the service is friendly and attentive. A highly recommended stop for anyone passing through Col di Nava! Congratulations to everyone!

This meticulously maintained 1960s-style hotel and restaurant exudes a vintage atmosphere that I'd even call sophisticated. The cuisine, however, is ultra-modern and, I might add, delicious and absolutely surprising: I ordered a fantastic Fassona steak tartare with Castelmagno shavings, accompanied by a sorbet. I was initially perplexed, but it was celery sorbet! It was exceptional, incredibly fresh, and it incredibly enhanced the rest of the dish! Well done! I'll add: the establishment is absolutely dog-friendly; the entire staff came over to pet my pup at the end of the meal!

My partner and I decided to stay a night at this property to relax and escape the chaos of the city. The owners are very kind, courteous, and friendly; they immediately made us feel at ease! In the evening, we stopped at the hotel restaurant and had a delicious meal—simple, excellent cuisine! I can't comment on the breakfast because we (by choice) only had a coffee at the hotel bar. However, I can say that if we're passing through, I'll definitely stop here again.

Ponte di Nava is a decidedly sparsely populated place. Yet there's a restaurant you wouldn't expect to find. Elegant, refined and friendly service, excellent food. Definitely worth a try and a return visit.

I'm a rather picky person when it comes to food, and usually I can always find some flaw. But not here: every dish was a masterpiece. Balanced flavors, excellent ingredients, and an attention to detail reminiscent of a Michelin-starred restaurant. A special mention goes to the chestnut gelato: creamy, intense, and perfectly balanced, with that enveloping flavor reminiscent of autumn and tradition. Making everything even more enjoyable was the sincere kindness of the waitress, who made me feel at ease with discretion and courtesy. I didn't expect to feel so good: it was a real surprise.

Passing through for a tour of the hinterland from Pietra Ligure. The hotel restaurant is lovely, well-maintained and welcoming. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is excellent. The mixed antipasto is high-quality and varied. The meat is very good. The desserts are homemade, as is everything else. We'll be back.

Riccardo and his entire staff are very hospitable and courteous. The large parking lot after the river walkway is very convenient. The restaurant's cuisine is solid and authentic. It's no coincidence that they're the third generation... I recommend booking because it gets very busy, especially in the evenings... And if there are mushrooms, you've hit "Bingo."

Hotel antico al confine tra Piemonte e Liguria. Proprietario e personale veramente gentili. Se si è in bici, c'è un grande riparo che può contenere un sacco di biciclette al sicuro, affiancato da una palestra. Non so se la palestra sia utilizzabile dai clienti o meno. Le stanze sono essenziali. Nella mia c'erano delle prese rotte, ma il problema è stato risolto con un moltiplicatore. Vanno bene se si è di passaggio, più che per passare tanti giorni. Conviene prenotare direttamente al telefono o sul sito dell'hotel, più che usando intermediari. La singola 38 €. Ho cenato al ristorante dell'hotel con il menù da 35€, che diventa da 38 con una bottiglia d'acqua e il coperto, vini esclusi. Tutto buono, con cucina del territorio, a parte il salmone affumicato.

Personale simpatico e accogliente, posto meraviglioso, camere pulite. Cucina curata in ogni dettaglio, la fonduta di Castelmagno e le frittelle di cipolla sono davvero super. Vino ottimo. Unica piccola pecca la colazione, poca scelta. Mancava la frutta fresca, i cerali, le spremute fresche, le uova ma nulla di grave. Da tornarci sicuramente.

Siamo stati a pranzo presso il ristorante dell’hotel, dopo aver letto recensioni positive e trovandoci ad Ormea, abbiamo colto l’occasione per questa nuova esperienza. Il locale è “vintage” ma accogliente e pulito, il servizio ottimo e i piatti eccezionali.. Ho mangiato Maiale in agrodolce semplicemente fantastico.. tenero e gustoso.. Ho assaggiato alcune portate del ricco menu degustazione e la qualità si riflette un po’ in tutti i piatti! Il prezzo non bassissimo ma sicuramente in linea con la qualità del cibo. Consigliatissimo!

The restaurant's location needs some updating, but the dining room is spacious, bright, and very clean. The menu is well-curated, portions are satisfying, and prices are perhaps a little high, but still acceptable for the service and food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended

A simple, very clean, and comfortable hotel. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom adequate. The location on the river is good. Park in the parking lot behind the hotel, connected by a beautiful walkway that crosses the river; it's free. The restaurant is excellent, one of the best in the area.

Returned after a long time to this hotel restaurant, which truly represents a "place of memory." Run by five generations, it serves delicious traditional Piedmontese dishes with references to nearby Liguria. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Plenty of parking, with a somewhat adventurous route to reach the restaurant. A truly picturesque location.

I liked the location near the Tanaro River and not far from Imperia; the sound of the Tanaro River at night with the windows ajar was pleasant, as was the natural coolness after a hot, sunny day. In the summer, you wake up feeling refreshed in the morning. I appreciated the kindness of the reception staff (I heard tourists speaking very well in both English and French). I asked for a room on the top floor and was granted it; I appreciated it. The hotel is clean, not only in the rooms but also in the common areas. The pillows were excellent, the towels were plentiful, and the parking lot reserved for guests was convenient and spacious. If you arrive at night, when you see the illuminated yellow sign on the main road, take the small road that leads downhill and, to reach the hotel, park your car and cross the footbridge over the river. I would return for the relaxing effect (which gives me an extra point on the overall rating). The mattresses were a bit too soft. The furnishings are dated. The TV is too small, and aside from the RAI channels, the other channels didn't have a signal. After a while, the broadcast would freeze. We turned it off, and there was no point in continuing to watch a movie in these conditions. Couldn't some of these flaws be improved? The rating could be better. Internet access requires the hotel's Wi-Fi. The room price would be reasonable if the TV reception was fixed and the mattresses were improved.

Sono stato solo a mangiare con la famiglia al ristorante. Cucina buona, non abbondante. Prezzi abbastanza alti. Vista la spesa pensavo almeno offrisse il caffè, mi sbagliavo. Aggiungo che per mio figlio che non mangia niente di quello che offrono è rimasto senza mangiare. Dalla risposta dei titolari sicuramente non ci torneremo. Il caffè comunque dappertutto è ancora 1,10 non 2 euro e comunque spesso viene offerto. La trota non è così speciale come mi è stato raccomandato. Il cibo è buono, ma non per i prezzi che hanno.

Very friendly staff, a slightly dated but very well-kept atmosphere. Good wine list. These are the pros. Cuisine: mixed appetizer, well-presented but nothing particularly good, and portions not generous, with a high price for 2 slices of veal with tuna sauce, 1 carpaccio that must have been 2cm x 2cm, 1 (not in a manner of speaking) head of fried cauliflower, purple potatoes with octopus (2 small pieces of octopus), the best thing was the flan with castelmagno cheese. In summary: 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, and 1 dessert, 1 bottle of wine (a Ligurian white, good but nothing earth-shattering), total: 102 euros. The food isn't bad, but it's absolutely average, and the quality/price ratio isn't up to par. You also have to consider the location and context when setting prices. In places comparable in location and type, you can have a remarkable lunch for 40 euros or less.

Nulla da eccepire sul ristorante e sul servizio, ma la nota dolente sono le camere veramente piccolissime, la pessima recezione della TV, la pulizia un po' sommaria (sul davanzale del bagno ragnatele e sporcizia), la mancanza di un servizio di prima colazione ( anche se c'è un bar di fronte non è proprio la stessa cosa e al bar dell'hotel si rifiutano di farti un caffè al mattino). Prezzi del ristorante un po' cari ( acqua filtrata del rubinetto a due euro!), ma tutto sommato in linea con la media.

Tornato luglio 2024 la sera di passaggio, con grandi aspettative. Delusione totale. Prezzi rincarati, ma questo ci sta. Ravioli alla fonduta, vuoti e senza sale. Il ripieno non pervenuto. Il piatto pieno di burro. Gnocchi senza sale e senza sapore. Carne gustosa, ma stopposa. Forse l'unica cosa che poteva avere un senso. Personale molto cortese. Spero per voi che sia stato un incidente di percorso. Precedente esperienza. Personale gentile. Cucina ottima. Preso tris di primi ed antipasti. Mi fermerò lì, ogni volta che devo passare da Nava. I 🍄 porcini mi aspettavo un pochino più gustosi, ma credo sia una scelta per sentirli al naturale con il tagliolino. Bravi e dulcis in fondo, conto super onesto, a cui non ero più abituati.

(Riferito al ristorante) Lasagnette che navigano nel formaggio (anche meno?), filetto di maialino coperto da una riduzione di aceto balsamico, che prende il sopravvento acido sulla carne bianca, civet di cervo con carne cartilaginosa. Bicchiere di nebbiolo ordinario a 5 € (che significa valorizzare la bottiglia 40€). I primi ormai battono da 12€ in su. Giovani ragazzi al servizio, cordiali ed efficienti (lei è in convalescenza: guarisci presto!). Ma non è sufficiente per colmare la delusione sui piatti. Ho frequentato Beppe da sempre, una trattoria di passaggio con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, anche per piemontesi ben abituati. Mi auguro che sia stata una occasione sfortunata.
